Stopped in for Lunch. Very nice menu. The Rubin grill sandwich was wonderful and a very generous portion. You can have it with pastrami or corned beef. Large portion of either french fries, sweet potato fries, or zucchini fries. I had one of the specials, beef brisket with grilled onions and melted provolone cheese on flat bread--quite good. Decent golf club like atmosphere. Lots of things I'd like to try. Will be back for sure.

It's only been 3 days since opening.... It's Friday, made reservations for 6 pple at 5:45. Slight wait but no problem. The place was already starting to get busy. We order appetizers and everyone was pleased. Mozz-Roll was two fried mozzarella w/ one meatball. Delicious. Another great one was the meatball stuffed w/ spaghetti. Our main courses were equally good. I had the Chicken Parm w/ pasta. Another had the Veal shoulder pot roast on risotto. And the salmon was exceptionally good. All in all, very good experience. We will be back.

Went here today because my internet service failed. Ordered the 10 nuggets for $1.49 and they were ok. I really appreciated the free WiFi.

This little restaurant is worth driving out of your way to get to. While at first it appears to be another pizza joint - so wrong. Pizza yes, but their Italian-Hungarian Cuisine is amazing. Ferenc Gaspar is the owner and treats you as if you were a guest at his home. We went here with my parents, they had eaten there many times. I had the Toltott Kaposzta, a cabbage dish with beautiful meatballs. Others had the Bokony Pork chops, chops and speatzel? in a beautiful mushroom sauce; the Eszterhazy Rostelyos - braised sirlon in a vegetable sauce with ziti pasta. All of these were fantastic. Now THE BREAD!! Oh My GOD!! They brought out a basket of bread - when we took a bite, we all looked at each other and said "Grandma's bread!!" Homemade bread that tasted just like my grandma's. For dessert, we shared a sampling of cannoli, tiramisu, cherry strudel, and apple strudel. Yum. The Cannoli was a slice of heaven as was the tiramasu. Open Monday through Saturday, one of the tastiest restaurants in the area.

This is our go-to place for pizza in Punta Gorda. We typically get the 3 topping large special midweek - you can't beat the value, and they're very consistent. About once/month there's an $8 pan deal, which we have come to prefer. Nicely yeasty dough but crisp on the bottom. And the people there are welcoming despite always hustling. What a change from the cardboard college pizza 30 years ago!

Went in at 2 PM for a quick bite to eat, and it was as quick as I had hoped for. At the all-star special it was made perfectly for me. Thank you waffle house
Have eaten here a few times since arriving in Punta Gorda, FL. Finally sat at the counter this morning and watched the cracker-jack team fry eggs, bake waffles and bark out customer orders with funny but interesting restaurant terminology. They fried my hash browns to perfection. Have actually eaten the waffles several times as well and they are always perfect. Also, you can't argue with the prices. They even have their version of the $ menu.
Have been to numerous Waffle house's across the country.....some bad and some good. This one was excellent. Well staffed with seasoned help, clean, fast and friendly. Will come back

They would be five star if they offered something other then fried foods but with their limited menu they're able to give you quality! It's nice to have the variety of beers and wines. It's not the most romantic place but it's great for a fast lunch or easy dinner. Don't let the road construction on Burnt Store Road stop you from stopping in. It's worth the trip.
Small but cozy Had the scallops and fried shrimp No heavy over the top breaking here, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection Loved it!!!
Fresh seafood and a great attitude, you got to try the lobster roll & the lobster bisque. Thanks

Decided to do a presentation/taste comparison this morning and Little Good Times Has Peter's beat on both counts! Went with another breakfast burrito and a side of home fries. The burrito was presented beautifully with salsa and melted cheese over the top. Inside had eggs, more cheese, sausage, and massive chunks of peppers and onions all served with a side of sour cream and salsa. Dad had the breakfast special of two eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. The eggs were done perfectly over medium. Especially liked the massive coffee cups and free refills... No rhyme or reason to the cups either! Dad had his served in a Cleveland Browns mug which, to me, was the only downside of the entire experience. Anything reminding me of the walking douche that is Johnny Manziel tends to put a damper on the day. Love all the servers and was actually remembered from my last visit. The total cost? A whopping $13 dollars. Look forward to my next visit which will probably be tomorrow morning
Perfect for a reasonable priced breakfast. I've been going for the past 3 Sunday's while I'm in town. I enjoy the Denver omelet. Went to IHOP with a friend and got a similar breakfast and it was double the price. This isn't a facny place to say the least but I really don't mind and neither does my belly. I'm not crazy about their coffee and they don't mind that I bring my Starbucks with me. I'll be back on Sunday :)
Cute, very clean diner with friendly quick service! Stopped here quick on our way to the airport for some breakfast sandwiches to go. Reasonably priced with a lot of options on the menu. Home fries were mediocre and sandwiches were just okay.

Got the chicken parm today! Came with a fresh side salad, freshly baked bread and pasta! Not a bad deal for $11 and lots of leftovers. The people in there definitely know excellent cooking, family values and customer service.
They were 2 HOURS LATE AND DID NOT APOLOGIZE !!!!!! I had a house full of kids so I had to buy at full price cold pizza and got the oh well attitude from the delivery boy so horrible after calling twice about the 2 hour late pizza they quite answering the phone!!!! Absolutely the worst and rudest behavior very unsatisfactory when I called the next day not only did the owner apologize but he also gave me two free pizzas delivered hot and fresh to my door at my convince wow great way to tell your customers I am sorry and we will make it up to You !!!!
Real family business, really from NY, really doing it right! True NY-Style food, made on-site bread & mozzarella, desserts flown in from NY, daily specials you'll never question, & a GREAT STAFF. I'm a mid-western pizza guy (that means both square-cut and deep-dish) and I've been inundated with NY-style this & that down here forever. However, the Special Stromboli is the closest thing to the pizza I grew up on in Rockford, IL. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. A Caprese salad made from local tomatoes and mozzarella that is made in-house! I love supporting private industry; even more so, a family business (1 father, 2 sons + fiancées + ...), But a family business doing it right gets full street-cred in my book. Bonus points for closing on Sundays; a family must rest to do a job well.
