I think they have closed up shop. No longer there. Food was pretty good. Sorry to see it go.if that is the case.

Loving a great sandwich I had to check this place out. Tucked away in a small strip center off of University. The inside has a small dining area with tables very close together. The afternoon we went they were quiet so we checked out the menu which consist of all kinds of various sandwiches. They offer bags of chips, pickles, and soft drinks. My daughter and I both decided on the Roast Beef sandwich with as jus for dipping. The sandwich was around $12, and it was cut in half with two very large pieces, with tons of roast beef and cheese inside the bread. The beef, cheese and au jus were very good quality but I was not a fan of the bread. The bread always makes or breaks my sandwich experience. The bread was a hoagie type roll with sesame seeds on it. I do not like any bread with any kind of seeds on it. For me it just takes away from the meat flavor. Too overpowering. The beef had good flavor and I enjoyed it. The sandwich came out heated as it should be. Other than the bread it was a good sandwich but nothing that makes me want to go back. The cashier was friendly and the guys making the sandwich did not see me leave a tip in the jar when we were leaving so one of the guys said " was everything ok" of course I replied yes but he stood there looking irritated because he must have thought I did not leave a tip. It was uncomfortable and I am sorry he did not see me leave $4 in the tip jar at the counter but I did not appreciate the attitude. Just ok for me!

I wanted to give this place a 5 star review but I settled on 4 stars because the matzah ball soup was a little Bland for my liking. I ordered the large matzah ball soup which came with 2 big matzah balls and chicken soup. My girlfriend and I agree the soup was very bland and I would not order it again. On the other hand the Reuben was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while. I usually complain that almost all places skimp on their meat however this place packed on the corn beef. The Reuben came on rye bread, pressed with Swiss cheese, and topped with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. The Reuben is a must try and I will definitely be back at this place!

I like it, I just don't know how it's going to survive in this location. It's right next to Carrabba's Italian Grille. Parking is ample, but they are doing construction in this plaza so getting in is like The Next Invasion of Normandy--it ain't easy. The sandwiches are huge, so huge in fact, I wish the girl would've told me not to order the big one. Honestly, I could've had 4 meals out of it, it was ridiculous. So most times I'll tell you 'go big or go home' this time NOT SO MUCH. Smaller is better here :) Place was very clean, their pickles are kick-ass, & their sandwiches are great. I'm just concerned on the location they picked as there's no foot traffic nor a street view of their location.

Terrible experience. My turkey sub was so dry and tasteless I couldn't even finish it. The owner was heckling constantly through out our meal, at one point he loudly announced he had soup for sale and a guy asked if he could try some, his response was- "I am trying to get you to buy it, not just try it!" He didn't stop there and kept announcing all the different items he had for saIe, I found it very rude. I felt like I was at an auction or something. Very odd experience and we will not be back.

Employees were welcoming and nice. Asian wrap was delicious and bf loved his hot Italian sandwich. We'll be back. Oh, the place was empty so we were in and out in less than 10 minutes : )

Although I am still slightly confused about whether or not Eric Gliner has his hand in this location, the truth is, it doesn't matter! These guys have a whole 'other' thing going on over here, and it's clear they know exactly what they are doing! For those of you that aren't in the know about what this place can deliver - it's quite simply loaded subs, hot pastrami and corned beef stacked high in between 2 slices of rye bread with lots of mustard, and a generous side of half sours (or sours if you choose). Yes - they do offer all of Dr. Browns products, chips and the enormous salads are served in the largest bowls. The menu is certainly influenced by their sister or distant cousin in Deerfield but brings a lot of new items like a meatball sub, french dip, and a lot more. This is my local and I am happy to have a glimpse of what I grew up eating available for lunch conveniently now.

Found a coupon in the Clipper Magazine for Plantation & Sunrise, that's how OPB attracted my attention at first. Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't busy but people were walking in as I was leaving. OPB is located right next to Carrabba's and parking isn't a problem. Just check the clock before you go, since they close at 5pm on most days. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwich was delicious and piled high with meat. They claim to use at least 1/2lb of lunchmeat on every sandwich, and my sandwich proved they do. The lunchmeat wasn't overly salty and the rye bread was very soft. The potato salad was made the New York way, and it was the best potato salad I've had at a sandwich shop. It may seem a little bit pricey (around $10 a sandwich) but it's worth it. They also serve salads and soups. The employees were really friendly. The environment was also very chill. It was really clean and decorated nice. I can't wait to go back and try something else.

My first time trying this place out and it was a mediocre experience. I walked in and the girl at the counter had a look on her face like she did not want to be there or she did not was us to be there. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with coleslaw. The chicken tasted like it came from a frozen pack ( totally flavorless!) the coleslaw was horrible. My wife had a roast beef sandwich which she said was good. With so many places to get sandwiches close by i.e. Toojays, Tower Deli, Laspadas, M&M's Cheescourse you would think this place would at least try to make some effort.

New place. Had to try it out cause I love subs! I talked myself out of the meatball sub special they had going on and I regret it. Someone near my table got one and it looked amazing. Homemade meatballs and everything. I stuck with a normal ham sub and it was delicious. Nothing amazing but it would definitely bring me back. All the subs come with pickles on the side, and they were delicious! I would definitely recommend anyone try this place out. I will be going back soon and hopefully will get to try that meatball sub.

Good sandwich! Had the meatball parm sub - special of the day. Hubs had the Reuben, which was also good. Didn't care for the coleslaw - too sweet for our taste. Pickles were yummy! Generous portions, good service. Will be back.
