After our favorite Chinese take-out place (their competitor) had some issues that made us question their quality, we decided to look for another place to satisfy our Sesame Chicken and Pepper Steak cravings. Only a handful being in our area, this one appeared to have high marks, giving me enough reason to pick up the phone and begin ordering. The interior was rather empty, consisting of a few tables and chairs akin to most restaurants primarily known for take-out. All of the staff were friendly, a big plus for me. The condiment section of the counter had typical Chinese restaurant staples, including hot sauce packets that I took a bunch of. We clearly should have gone here sooner, as everything we ordered had their flavors amplified compared to what we have known from other places. Even the Crab Rangoons had a better seafood flavor, and the batter on everything looked great. I will have to give the rest of the menu a try in the future to discover what else I've been blind to. King Chef is the best Chinese take-out place I have come across. You will not be disappointed.

I was very nervous getting my food here because the inside of the place is not the most beautiful place I've ever seen. I'm not the most particular, but the dining room had a few tables and chairs and a tv propped up on two chairs. Oh, and the TV didn't work. Cut to the food being fresh, reasonably priced and very, very tasty. Would I order from here again? Absolutely. Would I ever dine in? You've got to be kidding me. The food is that good that I still will give it 4 stars. It's better eating at home anyway. You can order more food and eat it all in your sweats and no one will be able to judge you.

Always fresh produce used to make dishes. They use less oil in their recipes, so it is somewhat healthy. I am yet to try anything that isn't made well. I highly recommend the hot and sour soup.

Thought I had written a review on this place......especially because we order from here fairly often.......OOPS Well it is about 1/2 mile from my house. And sometimes YOU JUST GET A CRAVING FOR CHINESE FOOD OKAY?! The delivery fee is like $1.50....HELLO! Their menu is very large. You can call to order or order online. I usually opt for ordering online...because socializing is a lot of work for me....But then you have to add about 5 min to the delivery time because it takes the restaurant about 5 minutes to receive the order. I have had: Crab rangoon--good but not as crispy with delivery Wonton Soup-very good and generous with the wontons Shrimp Fried Rice--not good, wouldn't order again, very dry and bland Singapore noodles--my absolute favorite! great flavor, huge portion (I get 3 meals out of it), lots of meat, normally chicken, pork, and shrimp Moo Goo Gai Pan-Decent, I like it with the white rice, a little bland....but hey thats the dish! Eggrolls-SOOO GOOOD! Very large and filled to the max! Great flavor. Sesame Chicken--not good, way too sweet, and texture is off. Either way too soggy or too hard to eat. Moo Shu Chicken--very good! Large portion. Pancakes are good, but have to eat them right away or they go stale! Bottom line. This is a typical takeout chinese restaurant. It is clean inside! It is fast and it is delicious! They have never screwed up my order either! Will continue to order!

This is a first for me.. I am rarely in the mood for Chinese takeout, but last night I opted for delivery from King Chef. The food was awesome (or maybe I was just hungry), so I decided to give it another shot tonight. I have a strong feeling this will be my 'go-to' Chinese takeout establishment for the foreseeable future. The food is really good.. Normally the flavor of takeout is so overpowering that I can only eat it on occasion. The food from King Chef has a light flavor with a taste of freshness. I always opt to sub pork for shrimp in the rice and most places really skimp on the shrimp.. Not here!! Lots of shrimp in the rice - loved it. The only downfall is a lack of seating in their dining area. I assume most of their business is delivery based.

Nice finally a great Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood that delivers. I have seen this location but never went inside. Last week we ordered delivery which arrived in less than 20 minutes by a friendly man. We had taken forever deciding what to order because their menu is huge! This place is a Chinese version of the Cheescake factory with the size of their menu. They have a combo section where your entree comes with soup or egg roll for less than $10. They have great prices, very reasonable and good portions. I chose a spicy garlic chicken which came with steamed rice and an egg roll. My daughter ordered a curry dish that was so good I almost switched with her. Actually we both dug into each others as we had plenty for lunch the next day. We ordered hubby some wonton soup cause he had already eaten. The wonton soup was better than anywhere else and they give you tons of wonton not just one or two with broth. The egg rolls were very good and both of our dishes had great flavor and we were very pleased. They also give you quite a few packets of soy sauce, duck sauce and a great hot pepper sauce and tons of fortune cookies. They are not stingy at all. They have so much to choose from. I'm looking forward to trying many other dishes. If you live in the area give them a try, well worth it. This is what a good authentic Chinese restaurant should be. Very happy to have found such an awesome place,

Never again!!! The food is not good. The sauce for the dumplings is very salty. And the food was just nasty. I've way better. And the delivery guy was so rude! I said thank you and he just walked off before. I could get out "you". Very poor customer service.

Food isn't half bad. Then again I don't think I have had anything bad. Only flaw to this place is sometimes when you go inside to pick up food it's a bit hot and I always laugh at the 1991 computer they use to store orders.

I have ordered from this place many times and never had any issues. Good food for a good price. Family owned business, and you're guaranteed to see the same faces over and over. I've been a loyal customer for 3 years, and can say that it has been a good experience every time. I recommend their bourbon chicken, and the house special lo mien. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is due to their delivery service. A few times over the years they have been very slow (considering the distance) in how long it takes them to deliver, and the lack of change they have. One guy couldn't break a $10 bill (on two occasions in the same week). He has to go back (with my food getting less warm by the minute) and get change before he comes back and hands me the food. Not cool for it to happen more than once. Anytime that I've picked it up, it has been a fast and pleasurable experience. No issues or problems encountered.

Great selection, high quality. The Borboun Chicken and Moo Shoo are quite good.
