Ordered delivery from here a few times and food is consistently tasty. Delivery times range but we did wait over 2 hours once and ended up getting a full refund even though mgr did nothing else and failed to apologize. We like food there and they dont use msg, so we still order. Just don't expect quality customer service.

Gotten lunch from here several times and it's pretty good. It's more a take out place than to sit down although there are two tables there. They also do delivery. Their lunch specials are great. Rice is always fresh. I really like their Singapore noodles.

Craving Chinese food after my coworkers order from here I decided to try it out. I placed a lunch order for pick up, but had difficulty finding the place. Perhaps human error. Small walk-in/sit down restaurant. My order was ready when I arrived. I went to pay with my card and was told there was a charge for orders under $10. If I knew that beforehand, I would have gotten cash. So I was charged an extra fee. Not happy about that. The food was average. More chicken then fried rice. There was a soda given with the order, but no choice. She just gave me a can of Pepsi. If I'm really hungry and craving Chinese while at work again, I may go back here. Otherwise better is out there... somewhere.

I am half Chinese; I grew up in restaurants; I have written and published restaurant reviews; I grew up on lots of NYC and Hong-Kong-style Chinese food. China Sun is my favorite take-out Chinese place in Plantation, and it is probably one of the best in Broward County. Everything we have had here is delicious. And, since I am a foodie (and a cook), I often give picky requests. ("Please make the eggplant well done." "I want it extra spicy." "I need the peppers and onions cooked well, but not limp.") They oblige and the food is perfect every time. I don't eat breaded and fried foods, so I can't attest to those dishes. But their Moo Shu pork is good; we get our chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce (anything in garlic sauce is excellent) and it is always delicious. I think their wonton soup is sometimes a tad too salty. But, my absolute favorite dish, which I eat at least once a month, is chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce (with the eggplant well done and spicy). I crave it. And not even my favorite, top-notch Chinese restaurants in South Florida have been able to make that dish as well as China Sun. I cook for all the events I host at home (and sometimes for events for others). For my 50th birthday party, I ordered and served two entrees from China Sun (and everyone raved, especially my Chinese relatives!).

After trying several delivery places around my neighborhood, I came upon China Sun. They store my address and past orders. Always polite! Prompt delivery. Now, I only call them.

HORRIBLE FOOD, POOR VALUE AND RUDE RUDE RUDE PEOPLE Will NEVER order from them again. Small portions and deceptive pricing. Quality is terrible as well. Food is marginal at best - but worst thing is the TERRIBLE ATTITUDE of the people there. Incredibly RUDE. Won't own up to their own mistakes Can't take a simple order and get it right (which is ok - but don't yell at me because you screwed up my order). STAY CLEAR UNLESS YOU WANT BAD FOOD AT HIGH PRICES SERVED WITH A SNARKY ATTITUDE

Here's the thing... The food (best described as NY Style Chinese) is OK... Not bad, not super great either. I would give it 4 stars. But the service and all the little up-charges (e.g. if you ask to put the sauce on the side or wanna pay debit under $10) needs improvement and would make this place soooo much better. Don't expect any friendly service at all: Smiling, Hi how are you doing? Nice to see you again. Can I help you? Enjoy your food! etc. etc. is a lingo from another world for the people that work here. Too bad they don't understand that, because honestly the food itself never disappointed me.

Food was terrible and old. The cashier/cook had attitude problem when answering some of my questions. They state they cook "New York Style" they should go back home and learn to cook "Chinese Style" instead. On top of it all my plate cost 9 dollars for hard chicken, decent rice and a crusty egg roll with veggies that smelled old. I wish I could go back home to California to Dragon Express in Temecula to eat some really good Chinese food at a fair price. Not this nasty sh*t.

I consider myself to be VERY picky on all issues relating to Chinese Food, considering I am coming from NY and I think NY-style Chinese food is the most orgasmic thing ever and everyone in SoFla is missing out. But this so far is the most acceptable substitute I've found in the Plantation area. Things I like and that pass off for NY-style: shrimp dumplings, wonton soup, pork with mixed vegetables. Ultimate test of NY-style chinese food which they unfortunately failed: chicken with broccoli. I'll just have to keep searching....

Chinese food in plantation is hit or miss but so far China Sun is all hits. Quality and flavor have not wavered. I also love the online and mobile app ordering - very convenient!

Best Chinese Food in Plantation. Consistently good, hot and fresh when you order and delivery is always quick. We order from here 2-3 times a month and have never had a bad meal. Be sure to ask for the homeade mustard instead of the packets

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
