I've reworded this review several times, trying to not be so harsh about what I am saying. There's really no way to say what I want to say without coming out and saying it. If Ollie's was just a bar, I'd give it four stars, but since it purports to be a restaurant, that changes the perspective quite a bit. I will stipulate to the fact that some people think that the food is the best. thing. ever. WTF ever. For the ridiculous prices and quality, I could splurge at a place that actually has, you know, decent grub. Two friends and I stopped in recently to see what the deal was. My friends got wings that were undercooked and nasty (their description, but those pieces of fowl did look undone). Our night was cut short later when they were clutching their stomachs and having lower GI complications. The food is completely mediocre and overpriced. The 6" sandwich, which has as much (or less) meat as a Subway 6", is $8 or $9. A 12" sub at Subway, Firehouse, or any other sub shop would cost less than the 6" sub at Ollie's...a 12" sub at Ollie's is something thoroughly retarded, like $12 or $13. There's a 24" sub that is $28-$29. Trust me that it isn't worth it. I really wonder how many of those things they sell. I bought one 6" sub, one time, and it made me laugh. City Grocery and Hub Stacy's have no fear of this non-competition. Neither do Subway, Jersey Mike's, or even the Publix deli, which all have sandwiches that are 1000 times better for less money. I won't go into the details, but: cockroach problem, pictures to prove it. Three stars for ambiance, friendliness of the staff, and beer selection. One star for the food and one star for the efftarded prices on the clown car sandwiches. There aren't many choices for hangouts in the area, so I can see the appeal...a little. I may go again to drink some beers, but I'm not driving out of my way to eat there.

Ollie's has potential but they are not consistent with their food. I have been here 4-5 times and the popcorn is the only thing that was consistent. The shrimp pasta was exceptional the first time I ordered it. The second time I could not even eat it. The sauce was way too thick and just plain gross. The servers are hit or miss. They need to learn their menus better. Don't be in a hurry when you come here as the service is always SLOW! With some management focus, this place could be a winner.

Tried again this evening. It seems much slower than in the past. Not sure why there continues to be a lack of focus on details by staff and management. Guests should never run out of drinks. Wait time on 2 burgers and a salad was reasonable. Service needs to be addressed w additional training. You have cameras, pull footage and use for training. It may be a while before we return...only so much disappointment one can continually receive.

This is the worst place in Pensacola to eat at! Terrible food. My wife and I have a debate about this place and Mackey's Mudhouse downtown as to which is worse. This place has better service but the food is just blah. The wings were the absolute worst I've ever eaten, they were small and tasted freezer burned. I would only go there if was to have some drinks, but for food, don't waste your time.

Fine burger cooked perfectly, service was great, prices reasonable. Great spot for a casual meal.

The staff is great and they have good drinks and food but there wasnt really anything on the menu that separated it from others. Jt just gave redneck hillbilly names to sandwiches and such. I have to say though the cute drunk guys at the bar really made the night.

Food was horrible! Service was just as bad and now we have food poisoning! Beware of this place!

Tried Ollies on Nine Mile today for the first time, and it was decent food. The burgers are hand made with a light char. Very nice. (I wish people would do away with those too bready kaiser rolls and match appropriate bread to their sandwiches.) Since they have chicken parm with alfredo pasta I asked if they could do a chicken parm sandwich, which they had no problem doing. It was tasty enough to be on the regular menu. The wings were good; nothing amazing but freshly cooked and good. The service was good, people were friendly. The only problem I had was that there's a funky smell of dirty mop or old bar towels going on in there that they need to do something about. Otherwise I was pretty satisfied.

The first time I visited was their soft opening and I must say, I was not impressed, but I decided I would give them another try. I have been back 3 times since and it was better each time. The burgers are great and I love their home cooked chips. I am a true believer in second chances now.

Stopped in with my mom for lunch. There were only 2 servers inside and one was also the greeter. She might have just been helping out the server since she was in the weeds. We ordered from the lunch special menu -everything is $5.99. Mom got the Cajun Crawfish Pasta and I got the Patty Melt. It took a REALLY long time to get our drinks and they were just iced teas with lemon. It took another eternity to get our food which was delivered by the cook(?). Mom loved her pasta. It had a lot of crawfish and she said it had that Cajun Filet taste she loves. It was a small portion but it was from the lunch menu and she still couldn't eat it all. My Patty Melt was delicious and regular burger size! The fries were great, too. They used to have kettle chips but these fries were thick cut, curved slices, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside-perfect. The server said they changed from the kettle chips to these new fries a few months ago. It's a good change! The food was great but the service was sooooo slow! If the service was faster I would have given 5 stars.

Run of the mill food. Been here 3 times and I'm not impressed. I can find something to eat here, but it's definitely not my first choice to eat here.

We sit at the bar and its a great neighborhood location with good, simple food. The price is right and the servers are friendly.

I think this place started out well but it has gone downhill. The last time I was in my hamburger was dry, the service was crappy, and the whole restaurant just had a depressed feel. There did not seem to be any sort of passion for good food or good service. The location has been damned since the very first restaurant that went in there many years ago (which was a great restaurant under the original owners). Ollie's is trying to be a local chain restaurant, but they still don't have the recipe right.

I like their food but service kind of sucks. We had one good waitress but that was it. And I think it's a little pricey for bar food. We have gone at lunch and it's not to bad.

First time coming here and I'm greatly impressed! I will be returning! The food was delicious! I had the Ollie's breast with steamed veggies and Mac n cheese. I loved it! :) The chicken breast was actually two chicken breasts and they were really thick and juicy and tender. I was very impressed. All the food came out quick and hot! We were seated immediately. Our waitress Brittany was very nice and gave great service. You get your money's worth and they're not even really expensive here. Great portions for a good price. Great atmosphere. What more could you ask for?!

Thursday evening around 7pm. Nice quiet plce inside. They bring out spicy popcorn for snacks....very interesting....and spicy. Thursday evening is $1.50 sliders We ordered: Sliders (burgers: haystack,Steak n tater.) (Hot dogs: Chihuahua) (Pulled pork-hogs nest) Chedder burger with bacon cooked medium. Results: Haystack / Steak n tater / Chihuahua - wife said it tasted great and well made and she would definateky order again. Hogs nest - mildly spicy...a little on the dry side for my taste but good overall. Chedder burger - cooked as ordered. Awesome burger...would definately get it again. Its a pretty big burger...10oz...and definately made me full. Overall pretty good food for a reasonable price. Thursday sliders tasted great overall and woukd highly recommend you get them if you come on a thursday. Waiter staff were quick...and my drinks were always filled. Then again its not very crowded so theres no excuse. I dont know how they do under pressure. Would recommend this place to any family. P.s....ice cream brownie looks awesome

Ollies, you're the reason I'm fat, drunk and stupid. All you can drink BMs?! I love/hate you. Deep fried cheese cake and red neck sushi ... I can walk on there with $10 and walk out full. And needing a cab.

Went to Ollies last night (Monday Nov. 3rd)...Wow...where do I begin: 1. Service was terrible...the girls were too busy socializing with their friends at the bar and eating and snacking themselves to really pay attention to us and what we needed. 2. We ordered the jalapeno poppers for an appetizer...they were still semi-frozen in the middle. 3. My boyfriend ordered chicken quesadillas...they were so disgusting he took a few bites and couldn't stomach them anymore--The chicken was boiled and not grilled...(Boiled Chicken....I mean, WHO DOES THAT??) we left that nasty crap on the table--it was so gross. Between the waitstaff, the cold appetizer, the boiled chicken quesadilla and a fly that kept buzzing around and the boyfriend getting irritated about everything, I just got up, asked for the check and we got out of there as fast as we could. It was horrible! I have been there before and it was okay...not great, but just okay...But last night's visit was worst experience in any restaurant ever! If i was told I could eat at Ollies for free I would never go back! It's not a well managed place. Don't waste your money or your time! I have never been online to give a restaurant review but last night was just so bad...people, you don't want to waste your time going to Ollies, they will surely disappoint.

Not too impressive. This location has been several different restaurants but I guess it's been Ollie's for a while now. Came here with my grandparents bc Wendy's next door seemed super crowded lol. The complimentary popcorn wasn't that great and we had to wait a while for our food. My grandparents both got burgers which were massive and they said it tasted good but the Kettle chips looked burnt and were stale. I got the shrimp pasta which tasted fine but the presentation was definitely lacking. I would rather have waited in the line at Wendy's

When you get sick from eating at a restaurant, (a cheeseburger!) there's only one thing to say - 1 star. My wife had the philly slider she said was okay. Won't be back.
