This place is great! We went for breakfast and had bagel French toast and a side of scrambled eggs which were very good. The carafe of mimosas was very tasty. And the Bloody Mary with sake was amazing. Definitely within my top 3 best that I've had! We had our dog with us outside on the patio and the waiter brought him a water bowl. The staff was so nice and attentive. Got an iced latte and a couple of chocolate treats to go and both were delicious. The latte was not burnt, very yummy. We're visiting from Houston. And when we come back, we'll come back here!

The Good: I loved the vibe. It was very cute, cozy and eclectic. Seating is pretty minimal inside and there was a lovely patio. The prices were also fantastic. Each meal was under $10 and we split a carafe of strong mimosas for $9 total! The menu was also really large for such a small establishment. The Not-So-Good: I found my food kind of bland and dry. Which was surprising because this place was rated so highly! I got the Monte Cristo on Asiago, added all the jam, and it still wasn't moist/flavorful enough. I ordered grits and had to put those on my sandwich to eat it. I almost feel like it should come with syrup or something. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito, which was pretty good, but could use more meat. We both left satisfied, and had a good experience, but I wouldn't rank this as one of the best brunches I've ever had.

Great atmosphere and good food at a great price! Love theirs sunday brunch. Full menu all day til closing (3pm) and bottomless mimosa!

It's easy to miss this little place. Located off Bayou Texar underneath old growth oaks, My Favorite Things provides the perfect balance between southern charm and a sort of hippie feel to its atmosphere. As soon as you walk into the patio and through to the inside, with the old reclaimed pallet walls, you feel this. I had the Sunday brunch which included the Bagel Ranchero and a loaded sake Bloody Mary - a first, but certainly not a last for me. Our waiter was beyond courteous and as friendly as you come to expect here in Pensacola. I'll definitely return and update my review with our experience.

A place I would be a regular at if I lived close. Great French press and breakfast menu. The atmosphere and staff were incredible. I would drive out of my way to come here again!

I love it here. Friendly staff. Cutest shop with the cutest things ever. Choco covered bacon. Teas are great. Menu items are also really tasty. Love this place. Highly recommended.

The food was great, the coffee was delicious, and the store was super cool - featuring a coffee bar, candy shop, and a gift shop.

Lovely shop with good food. Plenty of healthier options and a nice artsy atmosphere. The staff was nice and the gift shop area was a fun touch.

Almost gave them 3 stars, but the food was great. We went for breakfast a little after 10am, and had a waffle, an omelette and tons of sides (cheese grits, breakfast potatoes, etc.). The service was ok; there seemed to be only one server for the dining area, but he was making an effort. Portions were a little small, but we left satisfied. When we entered we were told by the one server to "sit anywhere," as soon as we started to sit down we were informed the table we had chosen was reserved. It seemed a little rude, but I hadn't had any coffee yet either. We also watched this same scenario repeat for the next three tables that entered (clearly the booths by the windows are popular). I ordered brewed coffee once we sat down, and it was pretty good, but when I asked for a refill I was given flavored coffee ( not a huge deal, but I personally don't like flavored coffee).

I arrived on a quiet, sunny Friday morning, around 5 till 11. The sign said to seat yourself, so I sat outside in the covered patio area where several other diners were already having breakfast. About 5 minutes after arrival, a staffer cleared another table and greeted me. Ten minutes after that, I still had no menu or server, so I left (the 15-Minute Rule). Too bad: I read good things about this place. But no reason to ignore diners when the restaurant isn't jammed.

My favorite brunch spot right now. I love the atmosphere that makes it homey. Favorites there: grits, great selection of hot tea, bagel French toast

The place looked nice so my girlfriend and I decided to give it a go. We were told we were second to be seated which wasn't the case. After a hour wait we sat down and ordered. Another hour later we finially recieved our food which was cold served with our waiter to be nowhere in sight. Overall awful meal and worse experience. I will not be back.

The charm of this place is incredible... In the 10 minutes it took for the waitstaff to notice I was a waiting customer I was able to check out all of the cleverly build tables and chairs. Once our young and attractive waitress came to actually wait on us she leapt into action, grabbing my coffee and the water I had to ask for. For the price I didn't expect a WHOLE lot... but certainly ordering blueberry french toast bagels I certainly didn't expect to have 3 slices... seemed like a waste of half of a bagel but who am I? I would like to say that that after we met our waitress the service would be consistent but it was not. We had a round robin of service, having to ask for a refill on my coffee. The service was very quick! As our food arrived our server (a different one that took our order) asked us if we needed anything else and gave us our check straight away. Nothing quite gives you that welcome feeling like receiving a hint to eat and pay quickly so more customers can come along. Would I come back? Sure... if I couldn't find another place I haven't tried in the area.

Food was good but not good enough to make up for the terrible service. We got there when it wasn't busy and waited a half hour for someone to serve us. There wasn't even a waiter in the dining room most of the time. Food took forever to come out. No apologies from the staff. Threw quite the wrench in our morning plans. People around us left due to the poor service. Would not return.

5/5 stars simply because My Favorite Things is the best brunch spot in Pensacola. Incredible waitstaff, great ambiance, a refreshingly inexpensive menu, and extremely good food & coffee. Check this place out when you get the chance, and make sure you ask your waiter/waitress for their specialty coffee suggestion!

Fabulous food, nice atmosphere. I had the French toast bagel which was good. My husband had an veggie omelet with added back and cheddar which was fabulous. Service was not bad, seemed to be a slow day as far as customers.

Like most other reviews, service was lacking. Sign said "please seat yourself" and the only open table still had dirty dishes on it. We sat and waited about 5 mins for someone to clear the plates--and they left 2 coffee cups--came back 2-3 mins later for the cups and to wipe the table. Waited another 5 mins or so for someone to take our drink order, before she tried to leave I asked if we could please order food too (since we had plenty of time to figure it out). Ordered a Bloody Mary and specialty iced coffee--the drinks came out about 2 mins before our food (probably waited about 10-15 mins for the drinks). Food was good though. No bread, everything is served on bagels. Just wish service was better

Great atmosphere and very enjoyable food. We had the Belgian Waffles and and sausage and cheese omelette with cheesy grits. Loved it! The service was good once it started. Their "seat yourself" system is a little haphazard. It could be awhile before you get helped initially. I really enjoyed this place overall and will be back when back in town.

So often in Pensacola I ask myself, "Why did I go out to eat?" It seems like almost everywhere has the right heart but falls short. This is not one of those places. This is what you want it to be. Cute place with good food and bacon thick enough to change the husbands mind from it's-not-Waffle-House resentment to, "I'm glad we came here!"

They dont have bottomless mimosa anymore. They now have $9 pitcher of mimosas that make about 5-7 glasses. the taste of mimosa was just average.. i dont think they use the best kind of champagne. The food: i ordered pastrami sandwich and french toast bagles. I love how they have different variety of bagles to choose from. The sandwich comes with gourmet potato chips. It was pretty good. Good portion. But nothing special about the taste. That's why i am giving 4 stars. Seating: I set outside. It was a bit too hot because of the weather... Service: Good. The server was nice and friendly. Menu: They need a renovation on their menu. The menu is literally pieces of paper... if it was made of hardboard paper that contained description with actual pictures, it couldve been helpful to first time customers. Overall: the vibe was ok, maybe would have been better with some background music and better lokking menus. I will go back again and try other things.

This is a great, small location to visit for breakfast/brunch or lunch. Service is incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is also delicious!

Cute outdoor setting, but terrible service and food. The waitress was forgetful and unpleasant. She wasn't friendly and acted that she didn't want to be there. The omelette was rubbery and each extra veggie for an additional $1. They charged me $5 for a single waffle. It was overpriced and not enjoyable. I would NOT recommend this place! The waitress also forgot my side of salsa and latte.

Despite never really receiving "great" service in my many times of going, I'm still going to rate My Favorite Things with 5 stars. The food and atmosphere can't be beat! Wonderful coffee, sweet servers (who are simply just not as attentive as they should be), and such an adorable shop to browse inside. Bottomless mimosas are the bomb! Very reasonably priced and I recommend this place to everyone all the time!

3.5 stars. The food wasn't mind blowing but it was tasty and seemed "locally supplied", the service was kind of slow and BOY WAS IS ALMOST MUSIC CONCERT LOUD IN THERE!!!! It literally took a few minutes of discomfort, listening to other people yell to one another before my brain gave up and my ears gave in. The Bloody Mary was very spicy and THICK not words that are best for a Bloody Mary. I won't be having another. It was like drinking tomato soup and a thick soup too....yuck. The prices were reasonable, and staff was very friendly. I will be back to try other menu items and possibly lunch! Cute coffee shop and knick-knack items, largely overpriced antique furniture though. Also was not busy on Sunday at 11:20 we easily found a seat inside!

Driving home from the Florida beaches. Stopped in for breakfast. The Bagel French Toast was wonderful and it was lovely sitting out on the patio. Didn't even notice the heat. Service wasn't great but most people out for Saturday morning breakfast are not in that much of a hurry.

Hidden gem in Pensacola. Service was great and very friendly. I had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had! They are dog friendly on their patio as well :) We will definitely be back!

Great spot! Great service by Joey! Great food! Reasonable prices! Unfortunately didn't make it by my last trip, but this place is always on my mind when in Pensacola! Plus you're supporting local business! Give it a go!

I came home to Pensacola for a visit, and knew I had to check this place out. The buzz I had heard around this place built quickly, and now I can see why. Walking into the courtyard, there are cute fountains and knick knacks, as well as a couple of tables for dining. We decided to sit inside, as there had been a lot of rain lately. The dining area is smallish, but I prefer the term cozy. They have several different furniture pieces, which I guess are also available for purchase (there is a cute store on the side that you should definitely wander through). We chose a 2 top in the corner, and were immediately greeted by a server. She was very energetic and almost too attentive, though her enthusiasm and friendliness was appreciated. We ordered a salsalito club wrap and the grilled tuna salad. Though they forgot to substitute out the chipotle mayo, the meal was wonderful, and I will most definitely be recommending this place and be back in the future!

Great little place. The bagel Benedict on pumpernickel is very good as well as the bagel rancheros. The "grilled cheese" was definitely a swing and a miss though. It looked pretty sad next to the rest of the plates.

My first experience with MFT, service-wise, was good, but not great. The waitress never came back except to drop off the check--when I wanted a refill on drinks she was no where to be found. The FOOD however is absolutely delicious. I ordered the Sauteed Scallops and it was over this very delicious pasta! BEST I've had. The ambiance is always great. The second time I went, the waitress was rockin'! She was so great, unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she made me forget about my horrible experience with the first waitress. I ordered the Bagel Benedict--delicious!! Can't wait to go back again!

Love the food here. The bagels and sandwiches are delicious. Servers are very friendly and helpful. $8 bottomless mimosas. All the tables, chairs, and other decor are all for sale. Sit outside and enjoy a delicious breakfast any day (except Tuesdays because they're closed).

I am a recent transport to Pensacola from Seattle and this place is my single favorite discovery since arriving. It reminds me of home. Everything from the urban decor and friendly waitstaff to the delicious breakfast food and lattes! Did I mention bottomless mimosas? Probably the best made mimosa ever. Last week, my boyfriend had an ostrich egg omelet (on special that day) and it was great. I always go for the pancakes or waffle covered in berries and cream. Also, this place has a fabulous gift shop on the way out. I can easily spend an hour wandering around in there. A must see place!

We went for Sunday brunch. I had the traditional breakfast. It was very good. The eggs were fresh and the potatoes were well seasoned. My boyfriend had the waffle and he raved about it. We had the bottomless mimosas with breakfast and ordered coffee to go on our way out. The coffee is amazing. We will definitely be back. The store inside seems to have a lot of nice things but I didn't look around very much.

Pretty good service and food. Didn't blow me away or change my life. Haha. The store is pretty cool though.

This place is so cute, soooo cute. Lots of neat little goodies to purchase. Prices are pretty good and everyone is really nice. The restaurant is darling. The food we had was ok- a chicken deli on bagel and mushroom soup. If the food would have been a teensy bit better, I would have given 5 stars. Coffee (macchiato and chai latte) was a little syrupy, I'll ask for less syrup next time- I think the coffee was a good coffee but hard to tell over the syrup. We will go back, it's a gem. Try a different soup and different sandwich- I'm positive they will have something we will enjoy.

Super cute shop and restaurant! Their sign off the street should be in different colors if they want to attract more customers inside! It has so many great things! Breakfast and lunch was great! Amazing coffee drinks and the candy store inside was a pleasant treat!

This place is phenomenal!! Amazing staff, great atmosphere both inside and out. Lived in Pensacola for 2 years now and this is by far one of the best places around. Bottomless mimosas, outstanding breakfast options and delicious lunch and entree.

Ate here for the first time this morning. Although they serve only breakfast and lunch, I was VERY impressed! I had the "traditional" breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly. Two eggs, grits, 3 crisp slices of bacon, a pumpernickel bagel with sun-dried tomato butter, coffee, and a large apple juice for under $11. And did I mention everything was prepared perfectly? Sat outside under an awning and enjoyed the view of the funky decor and the mossy oak trees. I'll be back tomorrow! Makes me almost wish I lived here again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this store. I enjoyed a great latte and bought some wonderful scented sugar body scrub. They were in the process of putting in a restaurant and it looks like it will be a great place for breakfast and lunch. Can't wait to see the menu, but based upon my experience I expect it to be good.

This coffee shop is great! They are opening up a cafe next door soon, and I can't wait until they do. I wanted to try out this place, as I am a lover of coffee, and pensacola doesn't have many interesting offerings. The decoration is top-notch. Everything is for sale. And guess what? It's all reasonably priced....and beautiful. Go there. The coffee is great, the trinkets are unusual, and the price is reasonable.
