Short and sweet..... The other two Thai places in Pensacola are better, including the buffet Thai place on 9th Ave. Jasimine Fusion is very nice inside, great colors and decor. However, the service was mediocre - the guy was nice but not attentive to what he was doing. He didn't check on us that much, and he seemed to be distracted. I had the chicken Pad Thai which was ok but wasn't that flavorful. The Vietnamese rolls were pretty good, but I wasn't impressed with either of the sauces that came with it. So far, the best Thai place is Siam Thai on Creighton in front of Walmart. Prices and food there are excellent, unlike Jasmine Fusion (prices were high for quality and quantity. I recommend you go there and check it out for yourself. I will probably not rush to go back there, but I am not excluding them all together.

The food here is excellent , though I would strongly suggest going for lunch since it is SO much cheaper, even with a smaller menu. Their wontons, made with coconut are absolutely divine. Do order extras. I had their roast duck curry tonight and while expensive it was delicious. The portions of duck were fantastic. My gal had their pineapple fried rice and the portions were beyond generous, though she thought they were a bit skimpy on the pork in the dish. The duck curry was very delicate for a curry, which is surprising. Don't pour your curry on your rice! Their jasmine rice is also very delicate, and both are best savored separately, at least I think. When we had lunch there about a week ago, we had the Green Curry and the Cashew Chicken. The green curry was very delicate then too, and the cashew chicken was downright amazing. What is surprising, with both of the curries, they *really* skimped on the egg plant. If you like eggplant, try asking for extra. Me, I adore the stuff, so it makes me a bit sad that when a curry says it has eggplant in it, has three piddly bites worth. The restaurant is FAR nicer than it looks on the outside, which is does look a bit run down, while the inside looks rather immaculate. However, Gal tells me they could send some money on refurbishing their restrooms. If not for a poor restroom, they'd have earned themselves a five star.

Really nice Asian cuisine in Pensacola. Located somewhat off the beaten path (on 9 Mile Road), however it doesn't take long to get there from anywhere in the city. The waitstaff were friendly, atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was really good. They offer a somewhat pan-Asian menu with a focus on Thai food. My husband ordered a combo curry/pad Thai dish, and I had pepper steak. Both were very good but the pepper steak could have used a teensy bit more flavor. We'll be going back to see how the other dishes fare!

This place is AMAZING! Their curries are wonderful. The drinks were delicious. The servers and decor are elegant! We went for dinner on a Thursday in January and it was dead. I couldn't believe it! This place should be booming! What is wrong with Pensacola?! We will be back for sure! Update: Just went again last night. Jeremy was our waiter and he was AMAZING! Our meal was so perfect! I LOVE the peanut sauce they serve with their bread! Jeremy told us that the owner is from Thailand and keeps the recipes as authentic as she can keep them! Seriously... SO GOOD!

Great food, good service. the exterior IS slightly rundown, and from outside, you can't really tell if they're open or closed, but TRY IT. Their summer rolls are amazing. My go-to appetizer here, the shrimp are never chewy or tough, and all of the flavors are there in the right combination. The drunken noodles, cashew chicken, roast duck, and basil chicken are all amazing. If she can get the ingredients, the chef makes a mean green papaya salad. I agree with previous reviewers who wonder why this place isn't busier; it's fantastic!

Unexpectedly good restaurant!! I was craving Thai when I was in Pensacola and came across this place. Their Drunken noodles are realllyy good. so are their curries.. Try their warm french bread with peanut sauce and pesto-olive oil if you are there for lunch (the bread wasn't as fresh during dinner). Loved their cream cheese wantons too. The service is v slow though and portion size is just enough for the meal and there usually is no leftovers.

If I was sitting in a nice restaurant in Thailand, I would expect food this good. I love Thai food and I've been to Thailand so I know good Thai food. We had the spring rolls and calamari for appetizers. Both came with 2 different dipping sauces. The calamari was made perfectly. We also had the pad thai, panang curry, and basil beef. All was excellent. We ordered it with moderate spice for the kids and it still satisfied my love for spicy food. Very nice inside, felt comfortable bringing the kids and wearing shorts but you can also celebrate an anniversary or great for date nights. It wasn't too expensive either.

Best Thai food in Pensacola? I think so. This place is great for a quick lunch, dinner meeting, or romantic evening. The decor is classy, sleek, and modern but not over the top or expecting too much of their customers. First time I came here I had one of the curries and it was about what I expected - decent portion and quality ingredients with varying levels of spicy. It was brought to my table with a spice rack allowing me to achieve the exact seasoning/spice desired. After a visiting the city of Denver over the years I had fallen in love with a food cart at the 16th street mall, and in turn fell in love with all the great thai stir fry noodle dishes, it became something I looked forward to on my visits. I was thrilled when I revisited this restaurant to see they offer many of the same thai stir fry styles I had grown to have a soft spot in my stomach for. They offer sushi rolls that I've yet to try but if it is on par with the rest of the menu that I've enjoyed I would imagine them to be of top notch quality and taste also. I occasionally see large tables seated when I am in there and I would imagine it would be great for family gatherings/small parties. They offer a full bar and if I'm not mistaken specialize in martinis. I can't suggest this place enough for anyone in the Pensacola area with a taste for great thai food. Make sure to try the soy sauce noodles (pad see ew) it is the perfect blend of sweet and savory and one of my favorite meals anywhere. Go, eat, enjoy, and tell your friends!

They seem to advertise their restaurant as "romantic", but I see nothing romantic about their atmosphere. And there is NOTHING at all romantic about the food. I would say I highly splurged last time dining here. Portions were very small, very mediocre quality. I don't think I will be returning, nor will I recommend this to my family or colleagues.

I took my husband here for lunch after reading Gabrielle's review. He enjoyed the beef curry and will be getting it Thai hot next time. I ordered a house salad and steamed vegetables since I was not that hungry. Sasha was our server and extremely pleasant. The zucchini in my steamed vegetables was truly the best I have ever tasted. There were actually more than the 2 measly cucumber slices you get in a normal salad in Pensacola. I was so surprised by the elegant and intimate decor. We will be going back!

This was a fabulous experience for my boyfriend and I. Our waiter was very knowledgable, and he went out of his way to help us. The food was wonderful: the bread with peanut dipping sauce, appetizer sampler, entree, and dessert (we had the strawberry creme brulee). The ambience is great. Unfortunately, the place was DEAD!!! Come on, Pensacola--check it out!

There are now three Thai restaurants here in Pensacola and they are all owned by the same family, just individually owned. Siam Thai (buffet) on N. 9th Avenue is the mothers restaurant. The daughter opened Jasmine Fusion and then the brother opened Siam Diner on Creighton (formerly Backyard Burger in the Walmart parking lot). Out of the three restaurants I think Jasmine Fusion is the least desirable of the three. I went there this evening on a venture to try something different somewhere we had not eaten before. The interior is very well designed, a little dark in the evening but that is fine. We were immediately seated at nice booth. Thank goodness we didn't have to use the plates on the table since one was already dirty. Our waiter came over introduced himself and took our drink order which and then appetizer order. After about 7-10 minutes later he returned and apologized for not taking our entree order as he had been on the phone. I was not to happy about this. Right afterward he brought us our appetizer which for me was the Pinky's in the Blanket. They seemed a little over cooked, but since I had not had this before I was not sure. I had ordered the BBQ beef which I was really looking forward to. As I began to eat this beautiful dish I noticed that it was being served just above room temperature. I dug down to the bottom and stirred up the beef to find the hot (temperature) portion. The beef was good but I think it would have been a lot better if it was served hot. The waiter asked how it was and I said "it was alright", his response was "well, that's better than being bad" and walked away. With the level that people portray this restaurant you would think he would have inquired into my dissatisfaction. I won't be returning so it doesn't matter. The food at Siam Diner is much much better, served hot and has a great wait staff.
