Upon arrival , was not crowded ( 145pm on a Saturday. Place seemed clean. Lunch special choices were numerous ( entree comes with a chicken egg roll, plain fried rice and a choice of 3 soups) I ordered "honey garlic chicken". The service was fast , got my egg drop soup within a minute. Was hot and tasty as a usual and customary egg drop soup. Soon after came the rest. All was tasty and well prepared. Truthfully though I'm not sure the egg roll was a chicken egg roll. The inside filling was kinda pink in color- I don't know what color chicken should be. I will return- and try the boneless almond chicken next time.

All in all the food was pretty good. That was until I dumped out the remainder of my rice and noticed some sort of BUG at the bottom of the container. How GROSS I almost threw up knowing I had already eaten 90% of my meal.

Found this place by accident. Actually, I really wanted Vietnamese, but decided to head north and find something on the way home. I didn't feel like driving 20 minutes out of my way just to satisfy my craving. I saw the sign on the building from across the street and stopped by to check them out. I took a few minutes to read the menu - even though, every Chinese place is basically going to have the same thing. Well, except for excellent Chinese food - they have that in New York. I've eaten all over the country. It's been the best there so far. I haven't found any excellent places down here yet. I just take what I can get for now! Anyway, I ordered the General Tso's Chicken, vegetable fried rice, vegetable lo mein, spring rolls, and a Pepsi. In regards to the soda, if you're going to eat something that's fried, you may as well go hard or go home. It took about 10 minutes to fulfill the takeout order. Compared to other places - that was incredibly fast. I always start with the spring rolls. It's a habit, I guess. I like dipping them in duck sauce, which they provided in a small container. The spring rolls tasted amazing and were crunchy. Although, they could have been a bit tighter. They still tasted great! Next, the vegetable fried rice looked like it had too much soy sauce, but it tasted really good. I thought it might be too salty, but it had a nice balance. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The vegetable lo mein also had fresh vegetables. It's difficult to imitate a freshly cut pepper with a frozen one. I'm fairly certain they were fresh. The General Tso's Chicken was not bad, I've had much better. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but something was off. It wasn't spicy at all either. I'm partial to Kung Pao chicken anyway. Perhaps I'm just biased. Excellent, fast service and friendly employees. Food is pretty good. I'll definitely come back when I get a craving. Check them out if you're in the area.

Stopped in to try an egg roll, which is a basic staple of Chinese food. One word to describe it. Yuck. Dry and flavorless. This is definitely not going on my list of places to return to.

Well this has been a favorite delivery place for us for many many years now. Its probably one of the first Chinese joints we ordered from when first moving here. Food is good and the delivery time is always quick.

The best Chinese around. Lightning fast delivery. Chicken Dim Sum is off the chain. Never had a dish that we didn't love.

I really don't even know what to think. This used to be my favorite Chinese food in the area. The other night I call and place an order for pick up because j moved but still have work in the area. I place a very simple order with the exception for one dish. I ask for my chicken with no onions and peppers but ask to have broccoli and baby corn. They have been doing this for me forever and I've never had a problem. This particular night I ask for my regular dish and the person proceeds to sigh noticeably loud right into the phone as if I asked for the shirt off of his back and I was so angry that I hung up. I wind up calling back and the same man answers the phone so I ask to speak to the manager. He goes on to tell me that he is the manager and that we were cut off. I said no I hung up on you. Keep your food I'm never ordering from you again. Thanks lucky dragon. I'm sure we'll see a closed sign on the door soon considering another review shows a bug in their food. That's as disgusting as the managements attitude toward their loyal customers. I already know a handful of people who stopped ordering from them and now I'm one of them. Try SUN YAT!

Good chinese cuisine! For all Chinese people, don't be confused with the menu. They provide traditional Fujian dishes not included in the menu.

I'm new to the area and found my go-to for Chinese. For me, I rate a Chinese restaurant on their fried rice and hot and sour soup. This place has some of the best hot and sour soup I've had and excellent fried rice. I've been here a couple of times and I'll be back!

I can't really speak about the food. Showed up at 9:50 to get a chicken fried rice take out and they wouldn't give it to us. They close at 10 p.m.

A great Chinese place for dinner or lunch. It is very affordable and the food is good. The service is okay and the people are very nice there. The eggrolls are amazing. One of the best Chinese places I found in Florida. They have takeout and delivery.

We have been going to Lucky Dragon for 2 years. The food is as close to New York Chinese as you will find. Everything is usually good and hot. The staff is friendly and knows the regulars. Unfortunately I will not be going back. Last night there was lobster shell in my roast pork combination plate. I almost broke a tooth on it. After some discussion they removed the dish from the table. They did offer me another dish but by then I was just not in the mood. My wife's combination plate was good, as usual. When the bill came they had removed my dinner but added in ala cart soup and egg roll! When I questioned them they said it was because I ate it. While I agree I ate the soup and egg roll, as good customer service to a regular customer (2 times per week) I expected them to remove the entire meal from the bill. There are alot of choices in the area. I guess I have to hunt for a new Chinese restaurant.

I wanted something different than Bamboo Wok or Great Wall and I figured I'd try this place out. The bar wasn't set spectacularly high to begin with and it was a total fail. The egg roll was hot pink on the inside - the pork was mostly dye. The lo mein was made with spaghetti noodles. The sesame chicken was tough and the sauce was so thick I could have used it to spackle my walls. It was terrible and over priced.

Love when I find a great Chinese restaurant in South Florida!! And ding, ding, ding...I hit the jack pot! This little jewel is tucked away in a shopping plaza off of Hillsboro and 441 in Parkland. Initially when I walked inside I was just going to get a menu and come back at another time to eat, but when I saw how crowded it was i decided to stay and check out the food. Although, this was my first time at the restaurant, and I only ordered Wonton soup, an egg roll, and Mongolian beef ( all of which was fantastic), I could see from the other dishes the waiters were bringing out that most of the menu is awesome. You can take out or eat in, staff is attentive and pleasant, prices are are pretty reasonable for Chinese food. If you're ever in the area, and craving excellent Chinese food, you gotta stop by.

Always looking for good Chinese food in Florida, so we thought why not try it. We ordered off the early bird special and an appetizer. The crispy noodles were okay, the wonton soup was very good, Peking ravioli and egg roll were okay not great but not bad then our main courses came, the fried rice was oddly colored dry and funny tasting my beef and broccoli was tasteless and my husband general tsoa chicken was bad. We ended up not eating more than two bites and left sadly disappointed. Still on the hunt for good Chinese food

Since moving from New York in 2005 we have been very disappointed in the local Chinese restaurants until a friend recommended Lucky Dragon. . Nothing fancy but GOOD Chinese food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I used to go here weekly. I don't know what happened, but about a year ago things changed. The fried rice is cooked until it is totally dry, crispy, has an odd color, and is not appetizing at all. I figured it was a one time thing and went back several more times over several months. Needless to say it does not live up to its former quality. I do not go there anymore.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly.
