So far my favorite Mexican restraint in town. Nice decor and atmosphere. Great chips and salsa to start. Food is really good and authentic. All made from scratch flavor. Best of all it is very clean!

We came here last night with some new friends from our neighborhood. They say they come here every Tuesday night for $.99 tacos/enchiladas and $1.25 margaritas. It wasn't very busy, at least by my standards of what busy should be. Half the tables were empty and there seemed to be ample staff to cover the entire restaurant. I say this because overall, the service was well below par. There were ten of us at the table and I would say it took a solid thirty minutes before we could get our drink orders in. By then, we told our server to double up on everything since we didn't know when she would return again. It was probably another 15 minutes before our food order was placed along with another round of drinks. Now, I have to say the enchiladas were pretty darn good. I had the chicken and the meat was tasty and moist and the red sauce on top had just a hint of spice to it. The margaritas were also very good in spite of the size of the cups. I will also say that our server was very good at separating the bills. As I'm sure we are all aware, when you have a large group with 4 or 5 separate checks, things can get confusing. And for $20, with the tip, we ate like kings and queens. I would like to come back here again at a different time and see how the service is then. If it weren't for this, I would have given this at least four stars.

The best Mexican food in Manatee county. The next best place is Mr. Tequilas in Bradenton. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly and I look forward to every visit.

Horrible from start to finish. Really slow service the chips were pretty good but the salsa tastes like its from a jar. They charge you for more chips and more salsa but don't tell you. The food was disgusting the rice tastes like I was eating straight salt and the beans were also gross. Everything was waaaayyy too salty. Chicken quesadilla very disappointing had no cheese in it. I will never ever go back to this place! Go somewhere else!

Fast and friendly service and the food is definitely the best Mexican in Manatee county. Not the best that I have ever had, but the best around this little town. I think what brings us back to this place is the consistency of the food and good/fast service.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
