Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I wasn't a huge fan of their soup, but their Gyros are delicious!!! I'm not Mediterranean so I'm a bit leery about trying other things on their menu. I would be a bit more adventurous if the menu had a detailed description of what the Mediterranean dish consisted of. I wish they delivered.

Loved it! The Gyro sandwich was very, very good and tzatziki but my favorite was the Arayes Halebi appetizer! Didn't care for the music choice, more younger crowd stuff, but I didn't come for the music and the food was excellent!

From the outside it doesn't look like much but the good is outta this world. The shawarma and lentil soup is my personal favorite. The shawarma meat is marinated and tender and the lemon lentil soup has a really great flavor. The baklava is delicious I just wish the portion was a bit bigger. :-) Price wise it is very reasonable.

Not bad for the middle of Florida, but not great food. The hummus is pretty good, but the pita is chewy. Grape leaves were good, but nothing to write home about. Good service, and very nice hole in the wall kind of restaurant. I would recommend to anyone who wants some quick Middle Eastern food.

This is so far the best middle eastern food I have had in a long time. The tobulle is absolutely fantastic and the meat grape leaves are to die for. Also had the pistachio baklava. Fantastic. Server was very friendly.

I love the bread pudding, atmosphere, the tea, there's not much I don't like. Actually the only thing I don't like is i don't get over there more often!

Ever have one of those days where for every one "step forward", someone calls, emails, or shows up in your office, and afterwards you feel like you've fallen two "steps backward"? That pretty well sums up my Monday morning so far. That being said, I decided to get out of the office and get some lunch - and some much needed time out sanity check. I looked on Yelp and decided to throw caution to the wind and try something entirely new - and found a Mediterranean Resturant nearby. I found the Resturant at the end of a strip of business offices, and upon entering noticed it rather busy (good sign), found a nearby empty table, and sat down. A young girl took my drink order and gave me a menu. Now, the only time I've had Mediterranean food is when I was in College - many years ago, and there was a small Greek Resturant where I would occasionally go and buy a gyro. So, finding gyro on the lunch menu, I naturally ordered one. With it came a choice of soup, salad, or fries. Since I was trying "new" today, I picked the Lemon Lintil soup. My server was barely gone 5 minutes and returned with the soup. It was piping hot and had a great texture and of course a lemony taste to it. It was very good. Before I had finished she returned with my gyro - grilled slices of beef and lamb with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cucumber dressing in a homemade pita bread wrap. This was the best gyro I'd had! I really enjoyed my meal, will certainly come back to try other new Mediterranean dishes (some of which I wouldn't even pretend to know how to pronounce - ha), and with a nice relaxing and enjoyable lunch behind me, am ready to tackle the rest of the afternoon at work. Cheers!

What a great surprise this place was. I love Mediterranean food, and being from a big city up North I have been spoiled by some of the best. My boyfriend and I found this place on UrbanSpoon and decided to give it a try. At first we were a little bit hesitant due to the empty parking lot and even emptier restaurant, but we ignored our gut, and thank goodness we did! We both ordered the beef shawarma and it was delicious. Their hummus and baba was amazing. The only thing I didn't really care for was their pita, but that is something I'm willing to look over. Can't wait to eat there again.

Discovered Joumana's today by lucky chance. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, the service was fast, the wait staff courteous and knowledgeable about the preparation of the food. I enjoyed the lemon lentil soup, and he chicken shwarma sandwich, (probably the best I've had since leaving NYC). And the baklava was melt in your mouth delicious. Not only would I highly recommend Joumana's, I intend to make it and weekly indulgence.

Good food, a little pricy for the location and service. They need to spend some time training their wait staff.

Quite frankly I was surprised to see that this place was not 4.5 stars because of a couple of lower reviews. I have been to this place over a dozen times. I was never disappointed with anything there. I have tried nearly everything on their menu. I am not only middle eastern, but I also specialize in cooking middle eastern food myself. If you want authentic home made food, this is the place for you. This is a family restaurant owned by Joumana (chef) and George (her husband). They are from Syria and they really know how to prepare fantastic food. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other similar ethnic restaurant in the nearby area. Their place looks warm and inviting and very clean. The babaganoush is my favorite and I understand that the smoked flavor may not be for everyone, but I am not sure why? There are places who take pride in preparing smoked flavored food (I won't mention names, but suffice it to say the word "smoke" is in their name!) The Eggplant is freshly prepared which takes time. Despite the fact that Joumana is nearly by herself preparing all the food, I never had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes. This place is fast, all things considered. Their Lentil soup is amongst the best I have ever had. If you are there for the first time I recommend to try their appetizer four plate sampler with: Hummus, Babaganoush, spinach pie, and grape leaves. I think they have five, choose four, and make sure you try that lentil soup. They also have specials which are a bargain. Look at the board. Go with another friend and share, you will not regret it. They are very friendly.

Tasty food and nice service. This most recent visit was the first time I'd eaten in - lunchtime on a Saturday. There was only one other table and we were served quickly. Hummus, chicken shwarma sandwich, fries and my BF got the gyro and lemon lentil soup. All delicious. So reasonably priced for the amount of food. Now that I've convinced my BF to try this place, and he loved it, we'll be back more often.

I've decided to make it my personal mission this week to tell everyone I know just how much I LOVE Joumana's. I was in Palm Bay for a belly dance gig, saw the sign for Mediterranean food, and couldn't help but to stop in for some eats. Despite the fact that I looked like a drag queen in my 12 lbs. of stage makeup, the server Karolyn warmly welcomed and seated me, and tipped me off to all her favorite entrees. EVERYTHING sounded good, but I opted for the falafel sandwich and a side of tabbouleh. The real star of my meal was the tabbouleh. Banish the thought of pretty much any other tabbouleh you've ever had, because Joumana's blows the rest out of the water. It's all made to order, and the parsley is snipped and mixed in literally moments before the salad is brought to your table. The flavors burst in your mouth. I never knew tabbouleh could be so delicious! The falafel was pleasantly spiced and served on a nice grilled pita, with crisp Middle Eastern veggies. It had little bits of fava beans and was fried up to perfection, making it perfectly crisp with just a tiny hint of crunch. Simply delicious. The owners, George and Joumana came over to talk to me. They are from Syria and they are just THE coolest people! Joumana does all the cooking herself and takes no shortcuts in preparing real authentic Middle Eastern food. It's a real down-home place that I'm sure will develop a loyal following among Arabs and Americans alike. My biggest regret about my meal today is that I didn't order a few more appetizers and sides to sample, but I will definitely be back again, and next time with a crowd! I can't wait to say I started eating there before they became famous :)

With only three tables seated, dinner started after a few minutes with a waitress asking us for our drinks. With our drink orders placed, we looked through the menus. But after a few minutes the waitress came back and asked us for our menus. We handed a few over and I asked if we were could keep a few as we had not ordered yet. I was told there were not enough menus so we had to pick them up. She'd bring them back later. I handed her one more and we kept three. It was some time later before she took our orders. We gave her two orders and she said she'd come right back but it was ten minutes again before we saw her. Speaking with the owner, he had excuse after excuse yet did not budge to assist in the customer service. When the food finally arrived, he had further excuses as to why some dishes came without half of the food described in the menu. Including the cook being "overwhelmed." This would be forgivable as quirky if the food had been of superlative quality but it was not. Quite the opposite. Most of it was, at best, bland. Some of it was horrible. The salad wilted and old. The tahini spoiled. The baba ghanoush was to my liking but not to the liking of anyone else at the table as it had a strange smoky flavor. To be fair, the lentil soup was good. Quite good. It is just hard to imagine a dinner could have been worse. But, imagination aside, it actually kept getting as the dinner progressed. The service became slower and slower. The lamb arrived dried out and the falafel was burnt as was most of the pita. The sauces were bland and, as mentioned, the tahini was actually spoiled. Still, mentioning this to the owner gained nothing but excuses. No replacement, No comps. No apologies even. Just excuses. There is no excuse for either this quality of food or service. And there is no excuse to return to this restaurant.

Thought we would give this place a try since we saw them on Restaurants.com and purchased a gift certificate. We are sorry we waited 5 months to use it, because the owner said they don't accept them anymore. The place was empty except for one other table that the owners were sitting at with another couple at 5:30pm on a Friday night - should have been a sign. We ordered Babaghanug for an appetizer - HORRIBLE! the smokey flavor was EXACTLY like you just put a spoonful of cigarette ash in your mouth! I ordered the combination beef dinner - apparently "Medium" for the beef is difficult to achieve consistently as one cube was of the "Extremely Rare" style and the rest were cooked on one side only. Slivers of peppers and onions are very slim. My wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma which was OK. Food just isn't good enough for us to return again. Not accepting our gift certificate only 5 months since purchase is not good business practice either!

I was there apparently a few days after they opened...and being a personal lover of Middle Eastern food of course I had to stop in. WOW!! It was literally the best food I have ever eaten and I'm quite picky. I Ordered more appetizers before I had 3 bites of my food. If you are a lover of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food then you NEED NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER!!! MAKE HASTE AND FIND YOUR WAY TO JOUMANA'S!!! You will thank me later.
