This my favorite outback restaurant. I love outback but this one is on the top of my list. For two main reasons: they sell half blooming onions and they have the Sydney sundae. I have been to many outbacks that do not have the sundae. For some reason even when I am sitting in the restaurant I am unable to check in. I am sways too far away.

Today is not my day for food it seems. After leaving Panera over a bad experience without eating, and coming to Outback (where I had eaten the night before), I expected my night to improve drastically. No such luck. The worst experience I've ever had in an Outback, over a span of twenty years -- the first being in San Diego when one of their first franchises opened back in 1996ish. Outback as a whole has been on the decline for the last decade, but this experience tonight took it to an entirely different level. I ordered a small sirloin steak, caesar salad, with their unlimited shrimp. I was here YESTERDAY and the food was terrific. It was a fluke. There is no way they could deteriorate that much in one night, so it must have been a random stroke of luck. The salad was mediocre, my steak was completely oversalted, and overcooked. I ordered it medium, it came practically well done, chewy, and inedible. The potato they actually coated in salt on the skin (unlike yesterday) and was about the same taste as sucking on a salt cube. I sent it back. They brought me a new one. The steak was completely raw this time, and barely cooked. I didn't bother sending it back a third time. The service was abysmal, the manager came over to ask me how the food was and was unapologetic about the entire experience. No offer of compensation on the bill. First time I haven't left in a tip in more than seven years eating out. The overall experience was so bad that I'm turning them in to the health department tomorrow morning and I'm never setting foot in an Outback again. This place is garbage. Buy dogmeat instead. It would taste better.

It's ok! All I can say about this place. My daughter loves it so I guess it's one of those places that you love it or hate it!

I am from Connecticut and outback is one of my favorite restaurants. This one made me want to get up and walk out after one bite. First I asked for steak well done. When I got it it was practically still mooing. So bloody inside. Then it had no flavor. Same with the mashed potatoes. I had to add so much salt & pepper for the first time ever there. The service was slow. We barely saw our waitress. Can't even remember what she looks like & we just left.

Awesome food and great service at a good price. What more can I say? This city has a very weird vibe, so you could say I've never liked this town (or the people in it). However, I come to this Outback instead of the one closest to me because of its cleanliness compared to the ones in Jacksonville, and there's shorter wait times than the St. Auggy restaurant.

Food was fresh, service was attentive and the 9 oz pour of wine at happy hour was the right price!

It's good. It's not the best Outback I've been to, but the food is good and the service is acceptable. One thing I will say for this place is that they do A LOT for the community, making the restaurant available for non-profits and such, which is very cool! Bad thing, there's a strange smell to the place. It's always been there. Like dirty mop water or something...

Outback is a franchise restaurant, understood. But on the occasions I have eaten there I was never disappointed. And this trip holds true except for a few minor quirks. DON'T take the booth to the extreme right and toward to the back of the restaurant. There behind your booth you will find the kitchen. Now, I have eaten next to many kitchens....some racous some you could here a pin drop. This one was the former. i thought I was at a college pep rally replete with expletives and high octane phreomones and testosterone flowing freely. The appetizers were brought out quickly ( shrimp were delicious) and T.J. our server was on point without the usual over the top fake friendliness that you sometimes get at these establishments. The main course however was long in coming and my steak was dry to the point I had to drown it in A-1 sauce ( sorry I don't return food to the kitchen if not totally an ergregious error). My lady ordered smothered chicken that came with bacon on it. She doesn't eat pork. Which was graciously whisked away and replaced faster than the original order....hmmm. All in all consistent with a few quirks.

I had a good dinner there last night. Typical Outback quality food which is nice to rely on when traveling and want to stop for a decent meal. Service was a little slower than the usual fast pace of Outback, but the staff was very pleasant.

Typical chain restaurant food in a chain restaurant, which means there was nothing remarkable about it at all. The steaks were overdone and the broccoli was underdone. The only reason we went there was because the family couldn't agree on anywhere else and thought this was a safe choice. And typical of chain restaurants owned by big business which put profitability above quality, they pack people in booths like sardines and have few tables available for families.

We were celebrating a birthday tonight! I haven't been to a chain restaurant in many months and was reluctant to come one again. I'm glad we did! We had a excellent meal here. The service by Julie was great, we got drinks on the happy hour menu and got a 9 oz pour of cab for only $4! We had a rum and coke, (Captain) plus a sangria for $4 (per drink). Everyone in my party was satisfied with their drinks, they were not complaining of being cheap & watered down. Blooming onion we were served was small, so Julie kindly without us having to say a word said " I'll bring another, that's too small, but go ahead and eat". I was thinking that it was small, but wasn't going to say anything. Servers should take a lesson from her! I love that she recognized it wasn't perfect and fixed it herself. Let's face it- as a server you know what the food is suppose to look like so bring out good stuff! It's expensive to eat out so to get service like this is a reason patrons like myself will talk about coming back before we even leave the parking lot. No one complained about their food-5 people! This is pretty amazing considering the people I was with. If you like fresh vegetables they do a great seasonal veggie side here. Lots of variety: squash, snow peas, broccoli, and carrots. Baked potatoes are great and you can't go wrong with the steak. Everyone steaks were cooked as ordered 2 med rare and 2 well done. I though my med rare would be cold, in past times when someone orders well, your less done steak comes out first, then theirs. Or you get cold steak. The kitchen knows how to balance the meals...kudos!

Our blooming onion still had the full onion peel on it. Not to mention the grease was never drained off. This used to be my favorite appetizer, now I will never be able to eat it again. The service was alright.

I'm torn between what to give outback; I like the food and normally I'd give it about four stars, and the service, while pretty awful, wasn't terrible. I mean, they did try hard to make sure that we found everything enjoyable, and our waiter was super friendly. That being said, I would not go back here unless I had time for a three hour dinner and time to burn, even if I was just eating with one other person instead of in a party of eight like we were. Their service is ridiculously slow, and the quality of service, plus the manager, while friendly, were unreliable and seemed reluctant to actually help and were generally unsatisfactory. A little situational background: we were a party of 8, made reservations for 9:45, had three grandparents with us who moved kind of slow. Restaurant closed at 11. We figured that'd probably be enough time since they would probably be in a hurry to get us on our way. So there's no excuse that we left AFTER 12:30am. There was nobody else in the restaurant but us starting around 10:20! It took them until 10:40 to even take our orders for food. Our waiter, bless him, was nice, but took our order for drinks then waited until they had come to even think about taking our food order. Hello? We're a huge party. You probably want to get our food going sooner. What made it worse, is that when he came back with the pitcher of sangria filled to the top with ice (like, to the top! Who does that?) AND glasses with ice in them (it was not that hot of an evening....) my mom complained and also asked them if they could give us the happy hour prices because individual glasses of sangria, given the amount, would have been way cheaper. So our waiter immediately goes to check with the bartender (my sister and I were like, "noooooooooo!" since we wanted to order) and comes back a good 15 minutes later... Still without taking our order for food! In the time it had taken them to do that, the party next to us had gotten their food, eaten, paid the bill, and left. So they finally get our order in, and then after what felt like ages our salads and soups come out. How long does it take? Did they have to make the soup from scratch? The salads sure couldn't have taken that long. But the soup was clam chowder and potato... And those seemed like the kinds that you have a huge vat of somewhere in the kitchen. I'm pretty sure our entrees didn't come until like, 11:30 or something. It doesn't even end there either, but that covers my complaint about this Outback being really. Freaking. Slow. Our food finally comes, and they ask if everything is okay, and we say no, because my sister ordered a filet and what was brought out looks and tastes an awful lot like a sirloin, especially compared to the sirloin my mother had ordered. Yet, our waiter insisted that no, it was a filet despite the fact that it was pretty tough and about half the height of normal filets. So he goes to get the manager, so that SHE can argue with us and give us excuses on how no, that's a filet, Outback gets special cuts of filet and the tenderness depends on the cut and their cuts are "shaped like Australia" which explained why it looked like a sirloin and tasted like not-a-normal-filet (lol). Also, that the chef knew it was a filet because he had to grab one special form the back. But even if it was an actual filet, you should damn well explain to your customers beforehand that its not anything like what they're expecting, especially when a filet cost so much more. And even then... If they're dissatisfied with what they ordered because they were expecting A and you delivered B, you should at least offer something, especially if they've been sitting there for hours already. I think the manager tried to guilt us into not exchanging it because she also kept emphasizing the fact that it would take at least 15-20 minutes because they'd have to turn on the grill (so I don't know how our original order took so long to come out). Didn't work though, nor did she offer any other alternative. The new steak was completely different than the old one too, so I don't know if they screwed up the order or what. But seriously, we shouldn't feel like you graciously turned on the grill and went out of your way to fix the order you screwed up with in the first place.

Our waitress Mia was GREAT. Unfortunately the cooks in the back have issues. They don't know the difference between medium well and medium when cooking a steak. Can't really complain everyone was great about fixing the mistakes. Funny, just before posting this review the table behind us has the same issue. They asked for a medium steak and got it well done!

Haven't been here in years and it was still good for the money- service good and the place inside was clean and nice decor. I got a steak and lobster for $15 so cannot beat that. Salad extra but worth it - it was a nice salad.

Service was poor after waiting 20 minutes for a server to greet us after we were seated. Pork was undercooked, sides were mixed up, and excuses were quickly offered by the manager. This place turned a celebration dinner very frustrating in no time. I miss the old Outback we used to rely on for a good dinner.

Staff were friendly but clumsy. Dropped glasses and mixed up orders but we enjoyed being outside with our large dog and they were cool with that.
