Been here a dozen times, always order at least a dozen oysters, and there are dozens of things to say about this place.. yes I went there, haha. But for real. This place is pretty clean compared to oyster bars I've been to. The oysters are pretty fresh and tend to be plump as well. One of the shuckers named Pete is pretty cool, personable guy. They also serve good pizza which my friends thoroughly enjoyed, but I'm there mostly for the shellfish!

I think there is a very good reason why Victorios has stayed in business for as long as they have. My father who's visiting from New England had a hankering for oysters and this is where he wanted to go because he had been there before And had liked the oysters here. Their oyster bar in particular is clean, and the staff was friendly as well as knowledgeable. Pete, the guy who waited on us was wonderful and knew a lot about the product, said the oysters were flown in from Texas and that initially the taste of the salty brine was immediately followed by the sweetness of the oysters flesh and he was right on the money!! Some of the best oyster I've had, very impressed. We also ordered the fried calamari but I have to say that I was expecting the portion size to be more generous, same for the pizza but it was great and everything tasted very delicious, I'll gladly come back.

Tonight my boyfriend and I came for dinner. I ordered a dozen oysters and he ordered 10 hot wings . Always great service! I love the Oysters, fresh and shucked right in front of you. The wings were big but not much flavor . Overall great dinner.

In town from out of town & found this place on Yelp. Wanted to find a great place with good seafood and hit the jackpot with Victorio's. Had oysters from shucker John (great guy with a great personality!), fried & blackened alligator and a pound of peel & eat shrimp. All were awesome, but the oysters were definitely the star. Sit at the raw bar for a great experience!

I was able to go to Victorio's for lunch last week with some co-workers. It my first visit and I was very impressed. It was a clean restaurant and the staff was friendly and also efficient. The menu had a good selection of items from which to choose. I went with a hot sub and my co-workers with a lunch special. We were all very happy and satisfied with the food. I'm lucky that its right down the road and I will definitely be heading back!

Hadn't been to Victorio's in awhile and decided to see if it's transformation to seafood was successful. I had spicy peel and eat shrimp, my husband went with the Calzone. The shrimp were good, but not very spicy. The calzone was average. Service was gracious, but somewhat slow...they were not crowded. All in all, just average.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while once they put Oyster bar in the name. So I decided to go with my girlfriend, who is the real oyster lover. We really went for the oysters so that is what I'm mostly rating on. When we walked in they told us to sit wherever we wanted, so we did, then got up and went to the bar so we can get the bucket of oysters. It was a bucket of Oysters for around 27 dollars or so, can't remember the exact price. They offered to steam the whole bucket or half the bucket but we went with them raw. They were fresh and delicious. We also decided to get a pizza just in case the oysters were not enough , needless to say we took half the pizza home. I am glad I tried the pizza though because it was good and very cheesy and tasted great the next day. The shucker was nice and gave us a crash course on oysters. He was the only shucker at the "Oyster Bar" so he would shuck a few and go check on the other guest, come back do a few more and tend to any new or existing guest. We always had enough oysters shucked but it looked like he could have used a little help. Overall the food was great fresh oysters with different hot sauces and fresh lemons to put on top but a little pricey compared to some other oyster bars that concentrate on oysters. Pizza was very good and the wings looked good but didn't get to try them. Pitcher of beer was 11 bucks.

this review is based on their service , in particular, their take out service. Victorios food has always been good and we typically travel a little further from home to get it, however they have messed up our pick up time 3 times now and i believe the owner needs to be made aware. hopefully this gets his attention. i was told 30 minutes and the did not even start the pies till i got there.. 3 times now... the phone orders and the kitchen need to get into sync...

The calzones are insanely good! If you're looking for a lighter (but still tasty) option, their Mahi salad is wonderful. My favorite dressing is their house-made vinaigrette. Yum! Service is friendly, almost family-like. I usually take food to go because I work in the area, but tonight I'll be enjoying some drinks and sit-down dining. Can't wait!

This is my new favorite Italian place on the East side of town! I have driven by Victorio's so many times and didn't even realize it. it is located in a little strip mall on Alafaya. It's a little further down from the "main" restaurants, but should not be passed up. We stopped in for lunch on a Monday, and were immediately seated by the nicest waitress in the world. This is your mom/grandmother type. She was so bubbly, sweet and attentive. She recommend the Italian cold-cut sandwich. This has to be one of the better Italian sandwiches i have had. A few days later a friend inquired about the same restaurant, so there we were again..It's very rare for me to go somewhere twice in one week. The entire table ordered the Calzones...they are ginormous and delicious. far more filling than Goodfella's. We actually got to meet the owner this time. He is a great guy who takes pride in his business.

Definitely one of our favorites for Italian in the Oviedo area. Replacing what was formally Nick's restaurant, it's a hidden Gem on Alafaya Tr. between Mitchell Hammock and Chapman. The staff is very friendly and attentive and I haven't been disappointed by a meal yet. I'm a big fan of their Pizza & Chicken or Veal Parm Sub. My last visit we brought the in-laws after removing ourselves from the waiting list at Pannulo's in Winter Park. They enjoyed a medium pizza and salad; I had the chance to try the Chicken Parm Meal. My dinner was great and big enough to enjoy for lunch the next day. Salads are good too, specifically the Greek Salads. I haven't ordered it personally but always end up eating what my Fiance can't finish. We're both big fan's. Best part is that they deliver too.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
