I will try the Ale house again... My server was very nice but clearly new to the restaurant business and was not trained (or forgot) how to handle a problem. I ordered a blackened chicken salad that sounded great on the menu!! After my second bite I realized that it was missing - the corn, black beans, cilantro, pico. In other words, half of the ingredients. I called my server over and brought this to her attention. She kindly apologized and left to check with the kitchen. When she came back to the table she said they were "out" of those items!!!! Actually thinking that would be fine with me. I asked to see the menu and made another selection. What chef / cook would let an incomplete dish out of the kitchen!!! Not just one item but four. I don't believe a manager was told - no one came to my table.....there are certainly bigger problems that one can experience but anyone in business knows - it's constant attention to details that separates you from the rest.

Lame service. Lots of potential, but indifferent servers and so-so food will keep me away.

We had dinner there last night and we had great service and food. The food was cooked perfectly and the server Michael never skipped a beat. This was the first enjoyable meal in a while with great service and food and we never had to ask for anything. Well be back for sure!!!

The two times we have been at Miller's Ale House we have certainly enjoyed our stay. The servers are great, and the food is even better! We just love happy hour; most restaurants "rake you over the coals" with their prices but Ale House has great prices during happy hour! That will keep us coming! I also know that the the test of a good restaurant is to see if the parking lot is full; Ale House is not only full, it is packed, and people drive around looking for parking spaces. Keep up the great job folks, you are sitting on a "gold mine!" Thanks again!

Rude, rude, rude, RUDE and unprofessional. I cannot review the food, we didn't get a chance to even try it out. My family had been out all day and I was just so exhausted I couldn't face cooking dinner. I was very much looking forward to sitting back, hanging out with my husband and kids and enjoying some yummy food prepared by someone other than me ( and let's face it dishes washed by someone other than me too!!). There were a few people milling around obviously waiting to be seated and I had assumed there would be a wait so no big deal at all. I waited for a family ahead to put in their names and then walked up to the 'lovely" young lady at the desk. "Can I help you??" in a completely exhausted and I don't give a crap tone of voice. I am at this point thinking hey no big deal we all get tired at the end of the day so I smile and am just super friendly " Hi, yes I would like to put my name down for a booth for 4 please. " . Her response was - and I kid you not " Are you serious? If you want to make a special request it will take longer." Me - "Yes I would prefer a booth, it's easier with my kids. " , my family was sitting in the car waiting for me to come back with a time frame before we all came inside. Her immediate irritation was so obvious that I was taken aback and almost felt shamed haha!! Then she says she needs my cell number to text me when a booth is available. I had only just changed carriers a week before and had to get my phone out to remember my number, she actually ROLLED her eyes when she thought I couldn't see her!! I gave her the number still playing very nice and went out to tell my family we needed to wait about 45 minutes. About 40 minutes into sitting waiting in the parking lot my phone beeped with a text so I was happy and said "ok guys grab your sweaters let's go" looked down ( good thing ) and read a text that said I had JUST put in a reservation ( request maybe I can't remember the wording exactly) and would receive another when a table was ready. What? Ok again not going to react, go inside and the first girl is long gone and another young girl " Hi welcome to Ale House! " me - Hi, I was in here about 45 minutes earlier and reserved a booth for 4, I just got a confirmation text that my reservation was in. Can you tell me how much longer we might be waiting?" Looks down at her table and asks my name, then says about 35 more minutes!! WHAT? Another girl has walked up and is standing beside her picking at her top earring and just oblivious to how nasty it is says " Yeah Ma'am booths take longer" I had seen many people leave and now as I am standing inside can see other people that arrived after us sitting at booths! I stood and waited for a manager for 8 minutes and just gave up and walked right out. This was so unprofessional, especially for a brand new business in this area. I doubt they will have trouble staying busy since the bar is huge etc but I for one don't plan on giving them a second chance and actually lose money next time rather than just our time. By the way 58 minutes after my " your table request has been entered" blah blah blah I got a text telling me my table was ready. LOL!

Fun place to drink some beers but you're going to have to train the servers yourself. I go in about once a week after going to the driving range next door and I have yet to have a server know the specials. They're listed very clearly in their menu but if you ask them about it, they usually tell you the special doesn't exist until you point it out to them on the menu as gently as possible. Make sure you check your bill when you get it because you'll almost always be overcharged. Management is incredibly rude and is so friendly with their employees that it seems like their only job is to defend their employees mistakes rather than correct them. Definitely some training issues here. The bartenders, on the other hand, are great and attentive. I'm only a beer drinker so I can't comment on their mixing skills but they're friendly and, unlike the servers, know the specials! The food itself is okay. The zingers are always great. Some stuff like the burgers always come out burnt to a crisp. The Captain Jack's Buried Treasure is to die for. They have great daily food specials but always seem to run out by 9 at night. The building is fantastic. A patio bar with a fireplace and a separate patio with fire pits for cigar smoking. The inside resembles any other Ale House. If it weren't for the poor training of the service team this would be an awesome place to drink. Overall, I enjoy drinking at the bar because of their beer selection and specials, just expect to know more than the servers and make sure you check your tab before you pay it.

We go to this ale house about 2 times a month. Consistent service. Excellent food -it's pricey so a family of 5 will break the budget. It's nice atmosphere and always something for everyone to eat.

Maybe the manager was having a rough day but he was very rude when serving us which was very surprising. Our waitress and food were good, but was very disappointed by the actions of the manager.

I was SO excited when I happened to drive by the construction site for the new Ale House in Oviedo a few months ago - been enjoying Ale House (for the most part) for, I don't know, 15 years, and finally there's one near me!... But, sadly, it looks like I won't be going back to this one...after three visits, I can confidently say it's the worst Ale House I've ever been to, for the following reasons (among others): - Had Zingers twice, and they were terrible both times - undercooked, mealy-tasting breading... - Service at bar (where I almost always go) was generally pretty good, until last night, when it was really slow - Out of Irish whisky - Out of cheese for the fried cheese appetizer - They only had Sunday Night Football on about 1/3 of the TVs, including NONE on my side of the bar, and NO SOUND - they were playing 80s music (to their credit, at least it wasn't very loud). This was the final game of the season and would determine the winner of the NFC East, and we can't hear it...REALLY lame, guys.

Decent portions of unremarkable food. So-so service. Mediocrity at its most mediocre. Not impressed. Barbecue burger short on barbecue sauce. Batter on the fish and chips was ultra bland. Waitress took our order holding a stack full of dirty just-bussed dishes. Yeeesh!!!

Food was okay, that's if they get it right! Service is bad and sure why since there is so many people standing around. Not sure why it takes 2 hostess 10 minutes to seat you when there are a bunch of open tables. It's not brain surgery! Have not been back since. We would rather go to Waterford or Altamonte Springs than five minutes down the road to this location.

Waited until 3rd visit to review. Prime rib sandwich was Ok, but onion rings a sore disappointment twice -- batter was not crispy at all and held grease. Fries undercooked, then when sent back overdone -- twice. Fried shrimp were way overdone almost brown, not golden, and hard to chew. Burger was very good. It seems that the problems I encountered were centered on fried foods. Something seems wrong with cooking time and temperatures.

After being seated, waitress appeared, took our drink order and first round appeared quickly. Then, things went downhill.....fast. We specifically chose this venue because of its ties to back home in Boston area. Asked for a tv be tuned to hockey game Bruins vs Penguins and was given a lot of grief. Evidently big college softball town !!!!! Finally, game tuned in. Second round of drinks ordered along with food order, apps arrived timely while second round took forever. Food arrived, still no drinks. One item, fish tacos, stone cold! Other guests finished meals still no drinks but one beer. WTF??? Three bartenders and can't keep up with the rush. Manager on duty received complaint, apologized and too twenty bucks off $200.00 bill. After complaint reduced bill further to our satisfaction. Waitress was nice, but lacked for aggressiveness towards getting food and drinks. We won't return!!!

  • Carin W.

Very disappointed! My husband ordered the shrimp and scallop special only to find out that the shrimp didn't show up, so they had no special. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It came out cold and was clearly not pulled pork. More like fatty pork roast. Sent it back only to be served another sandwich full of fat! The manager did comp our meals, but I won't be going back! Love the other Ale Houses though.

Waited quite a while before trying this one, hoping the reported kinks got worked out. Our experience was generally good. We went mid-week at lunch, arriving at just the right time and walked right to our table (they first offered a booth right by the door, but quickly cleaned up another in a better location). I had the jambalaya, which was quite good--although far from authentic, you don't really expect such in a chain like this, so i was quite satisfied (and full!). Service was reasonably quick. Hesitated to even try this place, with its rep as a sports-oriented place, but the sound was off on the bazillion TVs adorning the walls, so it wasn't too intrusive to my party of non-fans. We'll eat here again.

This is our first time at this relatively new Ale House. If you've ever been to an Ale House, you'll recognize the sport enthusiast environment. Plenty of TVs, beer and finger food. The newness of this restaurant in a relatively sparse area ensures large crowds most days of the week. We came on a Thursday and there was a 15 minute wait. They use a nice digital waiting system so you get a text when your table's ready. We only waited 5 minutes before being seated. Wait staff was quick to get us a couple pints of Angry Orchard and take our order. Our waitress, Jill, was friendly and accommodating. Despite the crowd the food came quickly. It tasted fresh so I doubt it was sitting under heating lamps. They didn't skimp on the large portions. Jill came back at least three times to check on us and the manager stopped by the table to see how the meal was. No problem waiting for the check. There was even a nice surprise when we found they charged less than our usual Ale House for the extra portion we ordered. Overall a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a fun, laid back dining experience.

Great food. Chicken wings the best. Fried shrimp served on a giant platter. Excellent. Side salad is large and fresh. Always have great service. A must-go when I come up to Oviedo from South Florida. My whole family loves the place!

  • Anthony R.

We had a large party and the hostess didn't know where we could sit; weird, right? I think the biggest problem that I had was that our waitress was the only person to bring out our pretty average food. So, here she is bringing one or two plates at a time. The whole time she was doing this, there were probably 8 or 9 people standing around chit chatting at the bar, just watching her work. Service and food at the other Ale House locations is much better.

All good. Bartenders are good people. Andy and Tim hang tough and know how to run a bar.

I've been here before several months ago. Service was decent and food is okay. I'm just going to review my last 2 visits since I haven't been to the Oviedo location in quite some time. I went here on 3/4/14 and 3/11/14. 3/4/14 I went here at about 11 PM to get some chicken nachos to go. I asked if I could get the chicken blackened instead of the original chicken being marinated in salsa. The guy who rang up my order said they could do that. Because there weren't many people, I decided to leave a decent tip. My total for the nachos was $11.61, so I left a $2.50 tip (approximately 21.5% tip), making my total cost $14.11. When the charge cleared with my bank, $14.51 was taken out for this place. What the h$#*?! I even wrote $14.11 as the total on MY receipt and THEIRS! Even if my hand writing isn't the best, the overall total was very legible. I was going to let that slide until the 2nd incident. 3/11/14 I work the overnight shifts, so I'm usually up between 10 PM and 12 AM. The Ale House website, including their Yelp page, for the Oviedo location said this location is open until 2 am from Monday through Saturday. I arrived less than 5 minutes after 1 AM to find that the lights are on, door unlocked & slightly open, all of the chairs on the tables, and someone mopping the floor. I asked if they were closed already. He said they closed at 1 am. There aren't that many places someone can go to when working the overnight shift, usually just Wal-Mart, Steak N Shake, Del Taco, and in some rare cases, 24 hour McDonalds drive thru's, late night Burger King & Wendy's. The Ale House would've been a nice change, but I guess I won't be going back to this location.

Ordered a few appetizers. The potstickers were clearly store bought and prepared in the microwave and the "bed of cabbage" was not fresh. Chicken nachos were decent and a good portion for sharing. The cheese in the fried mozzarella was cold and there was too much breading. If the appetizers were this bad I will not be returning to try any entrees. Service was decent though waiter was attentive

Wouldn't recommend going here. Management doesn't seem to care much about the customers. Made a reservation on June 16 for 24 people for World Cup on Sunday June 22. Confirmed twice after that and no problems. Get a call today from Matt saying he wasn't going to honor the reservation. Didn't seem the least bit interested that I already had an event planed and it was too late to reserve anywhere else. Told me to get there early. If I had known that I would have made reservations at another bar/restaurant but its too late to reserve anywhere else. I think he should have honored my reservation since it was made and confirmed twice on the phone and one of those times it was confirmed with Xavier one of the other managers. They left me in a bind with my group. You can bet I wont be going back there. Too many other loyal places to give my money to.

I have avoided this place waiting for them to work out the kinks and I went on a Friday for lunch. So I cannot vouch for a busy weekend evening. Over all I was pleased with my experience. I have been to two other Orlando Ale Houses and I really enjoy the menu options and the huge drinks. I've have a few specialty burgers, the fried mozzarella, Philly cheese steak, and loaded fries. All of which were excellent except maybe the fries being a little overdone. I've had great, very friendly service and did not have to wait long for anything. I've read other reviews critical of the service and this may have been problems with the recent opening, or limited to only very busy times, but it should be noted that it is not always this way.

I have been to this location several times for lunch and dinner. Each time they have always messed up my order. I mean really how could you fill the order wrong with chicken tenders and fries . They always forget an item., drink, side, etc. Terrible service and don't even apologize for the mistake. Won't be back here again.

Sadly have to drop them a star, between the waitress and the food this place just doesn't work. We had a waitress that is in the wrong line of work. I won't tell you her name but between the South California valley girl voice, comments, and injecting herself into the conversation, she was out of place. Eating out should be a relaxing experience. She was really trying to make conversation out of nothing, and it was trying. She also tried to upsale everything, even to my kids. That is a big no no to me. I think she is too young to be working in a position where you should keep your comments to yourself, just take the order and leave. This the second time a waiter at this location came back and said well you must have liked the food because it was all gone. This is not the case for a second time for me. Sure I ate my food, but enjoy it I did not. This time we wanted to try a burger, simple enough I figured any sports bar can make a good burger. But these had no taste, in fact i thought i could taste some frost burn. As the other reviewer stated, I can make better tasting food at home for a heck of a lot cheaper. So this miller ale house, pretty much servers subpar food with no taste. Now I am starting to recall why we haven't been back to this franchise in 15 years.

So nice to finally have Zinger's in Oviedo!!!! It may not be the fanciest restaurant, but it's consistent. They have the best Zingers in the world. Definitely a better option than messy wings. The zingers are boneless and come in a lot of flavors - and they are all great. I've tried almost everything on the Ale House menu at least once...my favorites: Mini Burgers (with honey mustard sauce), Chicken Fajitas, Zinger Mountain Melt. The Oviedo location is big, clean and the staff is friendly. There is a large bar space where smoking is allowed. It's outdoor - but indoor. You have to see it to understand. There's also a large outdoor space with a few fire pits. It's a great location, but not great during happy hour as the sun setting on the outdoor patio will be shining right in your eyes. And you CANNOT leave without getting dessert. You can go for the CAPT'N JACK'S BURIED TREASURE - Ice Cream Cake with Oreo Cookie Crust, Caramel, Chocolate Fudge & Heath Bar Crunch. But the real treat - is his nutty brother: CAPT'N JACK'S NUTTY BROTHER Nutter Butter Cookies, Fudge & Vanilla Ice Cream, Topped with Chocolate & Peanut Butter Sauce.

I have to agree with the previous reviewers. Oviedo is in need of a couple good restaurants. When Miller's Ale House opened, the parking lot was packed (still is) and I was waiting for a chance to pay them a visit. Last night was my chance but I'm sorry I went... Things started off poorly and went downhill from there. When we entered, the hostess was talking to another customer. We stood there for a couple minutes and picked up that the other customer was asking if he could bring his dog to eat with him on the patio. I can't blame the hostess for trying to help the guy out, but I do blame her for letting me stand in the entrance for nearly 5 minutes while she tried to figure out if some dope who can't eat without his freaking dog in tow would be welcome when he returns for another meal. Multi-tasking is an important element of being a hostess. To make matters worse, about halfway through the conversation with dog-man another employee walked up and stood there with her hands in her pockets while I stood there with my hands in my pockets. By this time the hostess was on a police style communications device (the type where the microphone attaches to your shoulder) trying to find a manager to see if Lassie would be welcome on the patio. I should have left right then but I was hungry and I was there. I figured it couldn't get any dumber, right? Wrong... Once we were seated, after I finally interrupted dog-man and the hostess to ask for a table, our waiter came by pretty promptly. He asked if we would like a beer or glass of wine. I had some questions about the beers, which they have a good selection of, but he could not provide a description of anything on that part of the menu. Maybe he's new, maybe he's not trained very well or maybe I've been watching too many episodes of Restaurant Impossible. He did offer to bring a small sample of a beer that looked interesting so I took him up on that offer and ended up buying a glass. (The menu does not offer any descriptions of the micro-brews.) For what it's worth, the sample he brought was virtually all foam. Things kept going downhill when we ordered. I ordered the fish tacos with a baked potato. I noticed on the menu that "loaded baked potato" carried an up-charge. As with the beer menu, the food menu did not describe what a loaded baked potato was or what the up-charge would be. The waiter knew the answer to that query - loaded means it has cheese, bacon bits and chives. Huh? And there is an up-charge for cheese, bacon bits and chives on a baked potato? Really? The answer was really. So I ordered a baked potato with butter and cheese only. It came out with butter, cheese and sour cream (which I can't stand). Then when the check came, there was a $0.50 up-charge for the little container of shredded cheese. Really? Yep, really... (The waiter didn't tell me there was an additional charge for cheese only.) The food was just OK. I had fish tacos and they were decent, but nothing to write home about. The service was mediocre and the hostess should not be working the entrance to a large, busy restaurant because she does not know how to multi-task. That was my first and last visit to Miller's Ale House. If you're in that area, drive 100' further and visit Sushi Pop in the next parking lot to the east. It's a great restaurant with a well trained staff who know their menu inside and out. Bon Appetit

The food is good for a decent price. It's a good place to go with teenagers or for a casual time with friends. I have to agree with others that the service has been slow every time I've gone (about 5 times). I love the chicken zingers and warm brownie with ice cream. I had a Margarita one time that was watery and low quality.

Took a while for waitress to get us served but the food I ate was good. I had the Cajun chicken with lime dressing salad. That was very tasty. Not enough of the black beans and cilantro would have sent it to another level. My mamma ordered Caesar salad with shrimp and it was so yucky looking that when she offered me a bite I said no thanks. As she kept eating off my sister and my plate I asked if she liked her salad and she said she did. So, I tasted the shrimp, REALLY? Frozen, limp, translucent, Teeny tiny tasteless shrimp? Get over yourself for charging $5 upcharge for that! My sister got a mountain of zingers which were described as boneless chicken wings! Quit lying on the menu and just call it chicken tenders and get on with running a menu with honesty!! Anyone who has eaten both wings and tenders can call you on that one! Oh, the sweet tea, try serving it fresh! How can you serve stale tea??? Well, prices too high for the kind of food it is, I can see why people come but it's not the food if this small sampling tells the story.

What happened to the food at this restaurant?!! Staff is still pleasant and efficient even though they have to serve inferior quality food. Ordered two pull pork sandwiches on Wed. Their lunch special. Chunks of fat mixed with chunks pf pork, nothing "pulled" about it and to top it off it was served tepid!! Just warmed in spots. The manager did apologize & made good. Her comment was "it's how it came in"! Well either stop ordering from that supplier, learn how to fix it in your kitchen, or take it off the menu! My advice " don't order the pulled pork"! Have eaten here several times & it was the first bad meal we ever had!

Our group has given this place at least five tries!! Tonight was the worst, the service at this restaurant is the worst we've ever experienced!! The food is just ok nothing fresh, nothing came up at the same time, food was not even warm, but add the horrible service and it's NOT worth the time to try it out. The manager used the same excuse twice, the waitress was new!! She didn't seem to care that our group of ten was dissatisfied! I guess if you're only going there to drink and not care what you eat, but our drinks were not even something to go back for. We will never go back again. I guess on a positive note, the lobster dinner on Wednesdays is good, if you get there early enough and they don't run out!!

We like the Ale House. It's the zingers. We love them. And the onion rings are the best. And the Captain Jack's Buried Treasure dessert is really good. Not a fan of anything else I've tried. This particular location is brand new. My husband does not like coming here- it's a bit pricey for casual dining. The kids and I go when he's out of town!

Oviedo is absolutely starving for new restaurants. And to my huge disappointment what do we get? Another sports bar. Only this time bigger then all of them in town put together. Why couldn't we get something along the quality of Sushi Pop? I only explain all the cars in parking lot as a lot of sports enthusiasts and desperation for some place to eat. I went last night to check it out. It had a bizarre feel to it. Massive place - never seen a bar like this. Not my kind of place. Food not very good. Service was very rude. I won't ever be going back. It really deserves one star for me but giving one extra for sports fans.

Glad they opened this place. Food and service is decent, nothing extraordinary. They have an extensive menu so there is always something for everyone. They also have a large selection of drafts. It is usually packed to the gills.

We were all so excited to try this new restaurant in our area. The pluses: The atmosphere and outdoor seating. Great! Everything else, yuck..we wouldn't actually ever bother eating here again (based on what we were served). We ordered the "special" the night we visited, "Blackened Scallop Pasta", $14.99. It was absolutely horrible! Four scallops not blackened at all and completely void of any taste whatsoever. The pasta was a yellow soupy mess of what, we have no idea. Had zero flavor, nothing blackened or tasty at all about the pasta either. All of this for $14.99. Horrible. I would never order the calamari again either. It tasted like frozen calamari rings with a sweet sauce that was also disgusting. The only half way edible item we ate was the fish tacos, although the sauce that sounded so appetizing on the menu was void in the tacos. We were so disappointed.

I've been to this location for the chain "Orlando Ale House" 4 times since I moved here about 4 months ago. Now, I must admit I don't consume alcoholic beverages so I can't comment on that part. I will say that the food is amazing! Great portions and to me the prices are actually less expensive than most restaurants I typically eat at. Every time I've been, the service has been outstanding and attentive. Delicious :-)

Went there and sat outside. Server was very polite but never brought out the only food thing we ordered...TWO appetizers. We sat there and watched the folks next to us arrive after us, and get all their food. Although the server apologized, after 30 minutes we canceled the appetizers and went to a fast food drive thru. Very dissappointing. I prefer waterford lakes loaction...they are busier, yet gives the perfect dining experience.

Ye olde Miller's Ale House - it's like a better version of Chili's. (Wait.. have you been to Chili's recently? They're not actually as bad as you remember -- AND BONUS, you get to see high-school kids on awkward dates!) The food is ok. There are TVs everywhere, good for watching the game or the fight or the [...]. Burgers, wings, "zingers." If you're drinking a lot of beer, it really doesn't matter much. The Oviedo location is close to UCF which made it close to us as we were passing through. Not much else to say about that.

We stopped here on a last minute trip to the Orlando area. I had not been to any of the "Ale House" restaurants so was not sure what to expect other than good food based on what my husband told me at the time. We walked in and I was impressed with the decor, however soon found out that it is pretty typical of what all Ale Houses look like on the inside. As I looked over the menu there were a few things that stood out as unique for the restaurant and I was tempted to try a number of them, however I was not super hungry so I decided to go with the cob salad with blackened shrimp and chicken. It was really yummy and I would order it again, but if you are looking for unique I think next time I would try the Zingers as I hear that is what they are known for. All in all it was a good experience. The service was a little slow which probably should be looked into, but we were not in a huge rush so we were able to look around and see the unique wall decorations while we waited.

New Ale House opened up down the road from the office. The restaurant being brand spanking new is nice and clean, large with lots of seating, and overall, built very nicely. The menu has a good selection of items which is a welcome change to Oviedo which seems to be lacking food choices sometimes. Your typical Ale House menu with appetizers, salads, burgers and a whole bunch more. If you're looking to eat healthy, the choices are very limited, but something can always be found. The service is good and the staff is attentive and efficient.

Let me start of by saying I'm a big fan of ale house and have always loved the food and service. This wasn't my first time at this ale house. Usually, I have a good experience here. But this last time I was grossed out by my waitress and the staff. I have never been more hesitant to eat my food at a restaurant. Our waitress husband (or baby daddy?), showed up with their baby. EVERY staff member held the baby and touched his drooling face. At one point the baby actually spit up on one of the staff members and our waitress cleaned it up with a rag she had on her shoulder. This was all happening in open view of the restaurant. This wouldn't be that big of a deal had any of them attempted to wash their hands or sanitize afterwards. But NONE of them did so. And maybe I'm just germaphobic but this had me cringing. I watched her, as well as the other staff members, hand over receipts, food, drinks, etc. to all of their tables afterwards. Our waitress proceeded to put her baby down after wiping his face and went straight for our food. We were slightly neglected because of her baby being there, but service was not terrible. None of the staff was particularly rude either. I just found this, among a few other specific things, a little disgusting. It made me feel as though the restaurant is not a clean/professional environment. And for that reason, I'm not sure I'll be returning to this ale house.

Went here for a couple beers and some dinner tonight. Was extremely disappointed. It was pretty empty (everyone was mostly outside on the patio). The servers were lined up at a high top eating and chatting or whatever. I didn't catch our servers name. But she was nice. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer which was mediocre. For our entrees we had the shrimp Alfredo and the seafood Mac n cheese. Both dishes were bland. They both came with "garlic bread" (that's what they were calling it). It was dry and didn't taste anything like garlic. The only taste was old bread. Perhaps it had been sitting under the heat lamps that we could see from our table ? Hmm. Told the server the food was okay but we didn't want anything else. I half expected a manager (because any manager who knew half of what the heck they were doing would have) to come to our table and make sure that we were really okay with the dishes. However, the manager never came and the server just sort of brushed it off. I will not be returning to this location, unfortunately.

If you've been to one Ale House, you've been to them all. With that said, it had been a while since I've been to one, but while in the Oviedo area, Miller's Oviedo Ale House came up as one of the closest restaurants for us to go to for lunch. I thought I'd get my old standby lunch (Prime Rib sandwich), which is typically pretty good and came with a few onion rings on top. On this trip, the expected delicious Prime Rib sandwich was nowhere to be found on the menu. Cannot believe that they took it off the menu. I ended up getting the buffalo chicken sandwich drenched in Frank's hot sauce. It was 3 star worthy. That's all I have to say about that. The service was pretty good though.

I have never had a bad experience at any Ale House, but at this place I had a Mahi Mahi bake that was not that great. The service was ok.

Although they offer a gluten free menu, this location did not train their staff. My daughters ordered gluten free pizza and mini hamburgers without the bun. They were served a regular flatbread pizza and mini burgers with buns. We returned the burgers and questioned the pizza. Two different servers confirmed that the pizza was gluten free before my girls are it. A manager never came to our table checking on the burgers. After returning home and with my girls vomiting, I checked the receipt and not one order was labeled gluten free or without bun. Although I appreciate the gluten free offerings, please train your staff!!! My girls spent the evening vomiting (3 hours) until they eventually fell asleep. Again, please train your staff!!

Food was good, but what was impressive was how their manager, Javier, handled a TV channel dilemma between my table with a 15 month old baby and a table of guys who was in favor of watching chicks kick the crap out of each other in a Pay per View UFC fight. Javier asked each table if he could move the fight to another TV that would face our baby's back and give her a Nickelodeon channel for babies that faced her! It was a win-win! Thank you, Javier Menendez for your professionalism and kindness! We very much appreciate it!

I'll start by saying - I love Ale House. But for your sake, don't eat at this one. I've had bad experiences at this location time & time again (this, however, is the last time - they really outdid themselves). We were seated, waited 15 minutes for the host to ask us if we wanted drinks. Another 15 minutes & a lot of assurances that "your server will be right with you" later, & the host takes our order. Writes the order down & I watch as she hands it to a server. 25 minutes later we get one dish we ordered, but not the other. The server lies & says she was verbally told that there was only one order, blaming it on the hostess. "Prioritizing your missing order" got us another 20 minutes of waiting, & the best part is, it was made horribly. Don't waste your time.

Everything about this place is pretty gross and not that cheap for it being that gross. Servers always don't care and I swear are always preteens, the food always taste reheated never fresh, the drink specials are the normal full price of other establishments, and the tables always appear dirty.

Love the menu and so many choices. It's a nice place for a group or a nice evening out for a date. You can dress up or choose not too. Always a good meal. The shrimp dinner is a great deal for the price.

Decent food, decent beer/wine selections. Nothing to write home about, nothing unique, but there is something to be said of reliability.

Did not have good experience the other day .... The manager was yelling at people in the window, could hear throughout the entire restaurant....highly unprofessional. I own a restaurant and I know for a fact that he could have toned it down a notch....for christ sake...people are coming there to enjoy a nice dinner. Asked for my discount on my zingers, watched my server go to the manager and ask him and he waved her off and continued to yell into the window. Ten minutes later he is still making us wait....I was with my family...but it is the principal of the matter. Finally after we sat around waiting on the check for 20 or so minutes our server (was very cute and nice) came back and apologized. It was not her fault obviously...just needs to be run better...I could not help but laugh at this point. I will not be returning to this Ale House...at least until it is well-managed. Get with the program.

My wife and I have been to this location several times. Our experiences were hit and miss with the meals we were served. We love the menu, and the daily specials. What makes this location great are the servers. We went to this location for dinner tonight. I ordered the 35 shrimp dinner, my wife ordered the Bahamian Mahi Mahi. Our server Justin was great. The food came out in s timely manner. But, we had a small problem. My wife's meal had an odd taste, which is bad. Because it is her favorite meal. Justin took great care of us. The food was switch out for and order of Zingers. If you come to this location ask for Justin one of the best servers in this location.

What a waste of time! 30 mins to order; 20 minutes waiting for a box... Patio is really low.

No wonder you have two and a half stars. You don't give a crap about quality or service. Every time I get take out from this place, they screw it up . I never get dressing for my salad, "dip" for the french dip, and more recently there were broken pieces of ceramic in a spinach dip that caused some mouth bleeding. Whf ale house. Get it together.

Always good food. Sometimes the wait is kind of long for a table. Usually pretty good service and they will turn on any game on any TV.

Really good food and really good service. Managers seem to yell at the kitchen staff and servers in front of tables and make you feel uncomfortable since you can see and hear everything from your table. But other than that I loved my visit to Oviedo ale house!!

Uh... what happened? This place used to be a guaranteed stop for us while on vacation in Florida. In fact, it is usually a highlight of our dining experiences while here in Florida. We actually brag to folks back home. Not anymore. Complete menu change, less than mediocre food and a VERY franchised feel. What a shame... disappointed. Very disappointed.

I wanted to like it because they have great sounding deals but unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with the food. When we got there the wait was long but I didn't mind because I saw that as a good sign. When I went about 2 months ago the place had nowhere to sit for waiting so my mother and I just had to awkwardly stand with other people near the door way and try not to block people's ways. There were lots of girls (waitresses/hostess?) hanging around the front chatting so I'm not sure if they are being too generous with their schedules or just have lazy servers. After a little over an hour, we got seated and our server was pretty friendly so we had no problem. Now the biggest issue: the food. I love steak but the piece I had was fatty and not cooked correctly (I ordered a medium rare) and was well done. I like my steak with a light seasoning but this steak had no flavor so I'm not sure what they typically use for seasoning. The dish came with vegetables which I didn't want but I guess they were boiled because all my food was laying on a little pool of water that came from the veggies. Soggy fries completed my meal. My mother had the seafood bake which was ok but served with nasty cold clam chowder. TL;DR? Long wait, hit and miss service, and bad food. Great daily specials though so I will give them another chance in a few months.

Waited a few months after they opened before eating here, so they could work out all the kinks. Ugh. Didn't wait long enough. Arrived around 3:00 PM with a group of eight people, in an otherwise empty restaurant. Service was fine, beer selection was good, but the food was absolutely awful. Like airline food. I ordered fish n' chips, because hey, nobody can screw up fish n' chips, right? HAHA WRONG! It was a soggy, disgusting mess. The fish was lukewarm in the center, and the breading was so soggy, it stuck to the plate. They should rename that dish the "Captain America Fish n' Chips", cuz I'm pretty sure it's been frozen for 70 years, and when it thaws out it's tough as nails. The whole table had a similar experience with their food. Microwaved crap. Never going back. At least not to eat.

For cheap and yummy eats this is the place to go. Always good food, always able to alter a menu selection to make it less calories/healthier, definitely a regular spot for me. I've actually never had anything "bad" from AleHouse, but I don't suggest the salmon ... every time I've ordered it, it's always very dry. I recommend the chicken nachos if you're ever really hungry. Also the big red is awesome!

Today I went here with a party of 15 (Family and Friends). They put us on the waiting list. After an hour of waiting the host came out and told me that they can't accommodate us because there was other customers watching the Football game. Really?!!!! She pretty much told me they will give preference to someone watching a football game than my party of 15 that will spend more than $300.00. Guess what I took my family/friends and money to somewhere else.BTW, the parking is terrible!!!

Come, get hammered, forget about the wait and love the mediocre food. Romper Room could teach the place team/section service and maybe the large parties that grog here will all get to eat warm food together rather than in shifts.
