Chinese take out...what more can you say? If you're looking for some consistently tasty chinese food in the East Orlando area might I suggest giving this place a go? It's been through some changes over the years and each change has been for the better. I can say that the General Tso and Beef w/Broccoli has actually gotten better over the years! Lunch special is unbeatable! For ~$5 you'll have the option of rice (white or fried), entree, and a side item (egg roll, drink, soup). The plus to all that is I have never been able to finish the amount of food they provide in their orders and it'll come out to be at least two meals! If only I worked closer to here boy would I save a ton of cash! For under $10 I could potentially have lunch AND dinner! Now that's a saving anyone would be happy with!

Used to eat this place a lot a few years back and enjoyed it. When I returned I received a take out menu in the mail and decided to order delivery. However when I called the lake under hill location I ordered an L30 on their menu sesame chicken and received instead another dish. I called an explained the confusion and they explained that I must have the wrong menu though their name is written across the top. And they refused to correct the order stating "what do you want me to do? My computer says it is something else?" Just terrible customer service and blames to customer. Will not be ordering from there anything! Crappy customer service seems to be a pattern at this restaurant as seen in previous reviews.

I loved the fact that in our order they added a Chinese calendar but it must have been to take the focus off the flavor of the food. The General Tso's chicken was pretty good but not spicy at all. The rest of the food that we had tried had little to no flavor. I will not be going back.

Here's my validation to review chinese american restaurants. I'm cantonese and I grew up working at a chinese restaurant (Ta-DA! big suprise!) First impression: Maybe because theres a language barrier, but customer service is definitely not their top priority. A hello, a thank you would be nice. I'm not expecting some first class service but c'mon! Food - I order wings, beef broccoli combo that comes with an egg roll and hot and sour soup. Wings - pretty good, decent, not overly yellowish like some other restaurants and its tastes good. Beef broccoli - large portion for the combo and the fried rice that came with it was also good too. Hot and sour soup - HORRIBLE. Too much vinegar, too much dark soy sauce. It was really just vinegar and water with soy. Egg Roll - too greasy, pre fried, absorbed all the oil Verdict: I might come back, but due to the poor service and mediocre chinese food, i might not.

I see all the bad reviews and I wonder why? I've never had a problem with this place at all, food is always good and it isn't that long of a wait for delivery. I like to get the beef and broccoli and white rice with an egg roll. The large is enough to last me and my boyfriend 3 days for a great price!

We live in the area and have ordered from here many times. Recently something has changed. I think they are under new ownership and the quality of the food has gone down. The lo mien was over cooked and just tuned into mush when you tried to eat it. The Gen Tso chicken was all breading. Most of the few chunks where all breading, no chicken! We also ordered the Orange Beef which was the same thing, all breading. The sauce on our ordered came out gloppy. Even the steamed rice was dried out. How can a Chinese restaurant mess up steamed rice?! My family and I loved this place but we will not go back. Shame.

This place is horrible, customer service stinks, they blame paying customers for their mistakes and are the rudest people you ever want to deal with, do not buy or way here!!! You'll regret it, they are very nasty!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
