I give The Wing House a solid 4 stars. This apparently is a southern knock-off of Hooters of sorts. I prefer The Wing House by a landslide, personally. The restaurant is clean, the menu and food are delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Originally, I am from the Northeast and the only "breastaurants" we have up there are Hooters (that I am aware of, anyway). The atmosphere and the restaurant itself are great. People always seem to be enjoying themselves in here, and the polished wooden décor make it seem quite cozy. So far, I have tried the Asian and garlic parmesan versions of the wings, both original style and boneless style. They also have a grilled option for the more "health conscious," which I have also tried, and it too is delish, but I am sure the calories are still relatively sky high. But hey, I am not coming here to eat like a rabbit. The Western Burger and the appetizer sampler platter are both amazing, and the cheesecake was to die for...not too rich, and not too light, twas a Goldilocks cheesecake slice I received for dessert. Now, I will back up another yelper in saying that yes, the service is hit or miss. I sat at the bar both times I have been here. The only time I really ever eat at a table when we're out is when we dine with the youngins. So having that said, the first time we went here, the bar service was impeccable. However, when I went there for dinner last night, the bartender made it pretty obvious she just could not WAIT to get out of there. It took nearly 20 minutes of me sitting at the bar, having already finished a beer before I even ordered food, mainly because the bartender disappeared for most of that time and nobody was behind the bar. That really bothered me. However, I will be going back, as I realize this was only one staff member, and the food, prices, and atmosphere more than make up for that one mishap. Next time, perhaps, I shall bring my minions along too.

I really didn't like this place! Not that I had a specific issue here but we went there to see how it was since we just moved to Florida -my husband and I we are crazy about wings-. First of all, my first impression was "this is a cheap version of hooters". We didn't know if we had to wait to be seated or if we had to choose a table ourselves because we saw nobody aproaching the front for several minutes. The waitress was really distracted and forgot that she hadn't taken our order until after 20 min of having our drinks... not to mention she walked by like 3 times and it wasn't a busy day at all. She even sat down with a woman I think it was her relative to chit chat for five minutes while looking that we wanted to place our food order. When we got the food it was only half of it right and took more time to correct it. The taste of the food wasn't bad but it's not something I'm dying to eat again. The only thing I really disliked was that the bone-in wings had feathers and I didn't want to keep on eating after that. I guess guys would like this place for the "sexy" girls and the drinks but for me ... not a place to go back to! Lesson learned :)

Only because zero stars was not available slow slow waited 40 min for my food go any were but here. The girls are dumb as a rock and cannot get your order right.

First of all I'm only giving one star because I have no other choice. Second of all, our party of 13 were told by one of the waitresses to wait at the front while she dropped off a pitcher --hence there were no hostesses or anyone greeting you at the door. Once we sat down, it took 20 minutes just to get our drinks because we only had one server. She then proceeded to take everyone's order & when we asked how many of the wings came with the boneless she replied with "10oz" like if anyone has a clue how many that is...Then when we asked to have buffalo style she answered with her typical attitude, as she had since we first sat down "I don't know what you mean by buffalo" rather than asking what buffalo sauce... It is in fact a "wing-house." Needless to say, we didn't receive any of our appetizers & all 13 people got their food at once. Cold wings, soggy chili cheese fries, ect... Once we asked for the manager our so called server never came back to the table. The manager took our fries & other food back...25 minutes passed & still no fries or wings. Horrible service & girls with attitude = waste of time! Next time we'll be visiting hooters across the street!

The first thing that stuck out to me here was how surprising bright and clean the restaurant was. Having spent many a night drinking and noshing on wings in the dark, somewhat dingy Hooters of the Northeast, this was a pleasant surprise. Service is hit or miss. The hits have been great, the misses not so much. I like the wings here, but that's about it. Draft prices are reasonable. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit Winghouse, but if I'm in the area and hungry or thirsty, I'm in.

Wow, wow, wow, wow and WOW!!! Okay, I might be a bit biased after coming off one of the worst dining / customer experience of my life just 1 week earlier, but these guys really know how to treat paying customers. Let's back up a minute though and start with the food. It's wings and bar food and exactly what one would expect. There's nothing really wow inducing, but the food is consistent and yummy nonetheless. The service however is wonderful! First off, a few minutes after my kickball team was seated the manager dropped by with a heaping plate of nachos in hand. He interestingly asked if we were on a kickball or softball league and informed us the nachos and our first round of beers were on the house and he was really happy to have us as guests. He listened to us and was very excited that we had decided to try them. Someone at our table actually stated..."wow, did they hear about the awfulness last week at that other restaurant or is this what customer service feels like." Our waitress, Taylor, was very friendly. She promptly took our orders and followed up with us throughout the night. She maintained a very pleasant demeanor and a genuine smile. She did forget a couple of waters, but checked in frequently enough that everything was taken care of quickly. Our food was taking a little while, but we had the nachos and beer so all was well and the manager actually stopped by again to ensure that the food would be at our table in 5-10 minutes tops. We are a large party and know that such large groups can be a tad overwhelming on a kitchen, but a quick followup so we know what to expect is always greatly appreciated. He also followed again to make sure everything came our correctly. We will definitely be back as a team. The food and drink might be a little more expensive that "that other place", but the service and the fact that all of our food came out together more than makes up for it. I would highly recommend Winghouse on Kirkman to the other kickball teams and social sport leagues that play near them. Plus they have Big Buck WORLD!!!!

So, we go there on St. Patrick's Day to watch the NCAA tournament and there is no LIVE basketball on any of the TV's. Sure ESPN is on, but they don't carry the tournament! There was local news and Access Hollywood, good thing! None of the staff could figure out how to get TBS, TNT or True TV. After eating wings, we went home to watch basketball. Sigh.

It is a Hooter's knock off. Food is nearly identical, waitresses in shorts. The service was not good. A young girl that did not want to be there, you could tell because she never smiled. The food was ok, nothing great

As a red-blooded American male, I love breastaurants like Wing House. Even though it's a direct rip-off of Hooters, it does a few things better. The Blackened wing seasoning is distinctly unique, and the Honey BBQ sauce with hot flavor is a nice mix of sweet and sour. These seasonings give Wing House a slight edge over Hooters in terms of taste. The chili cheese fries are surprisingly good here, but the clam chowder soup is not as good as Hooters. I came to Wing House to watch a UFC pay per view and prefer this place to another option like Buffalo Wild Wings because the scenery is easier on the eyes and the food is about the same quality.

Came here with the boyfriend and some friends for some good ole fashion football, wings, and beer. The portions for the wings are more than expected not dinky and barely any meat like some other wing joints. Our server Angela was very friendly and service was excellent I thought it was quite cute to witness her giving a balloon to a small child seated next to us. Refreshing to see tasteful service at a establishment like this instead of the typical bent over boobs and butt in your face tackiness. Thumps up! The garlic parmesan sauce was quite tasty and you could actually smell it very strongly as they were being sat on the table. They have decent happy hour specials on drinks too bad we came on a Sunday but will definitely be back to try them out. $1.99 drafts? You can't beat that!

Food great & service was horrid. If you just want good food and to look at boobs with no care for good service then do it!

Wings weren't good; sauce was weird tasting & my date was creeped-out by the wing tips on the plate. I guess they want you to feel like you're getting more for your money. Not a good place for mixed company, or a family restaurant. If you bring a woman here, expect her to watch you while you stare at other women, increasing her lack of self confidence and jeopardizing your relationship. Won't be going back.

The blackened wings are currently my favorite hot wing. I've eaten my fair share of wings all over the globe and these are incredible. I've eaten everything on the menu and I don't recommend anything else. They are that good so this breastaurant gets 5 stars for wings and great service.

By far, the best wings I've ever had! Love this place and miss close enough to enjoy it on a weekly basis.

This is my favorite Winghouse location so far. The wings are great, the girls are friendly, and the service has always been good. Breanna is awesome and I will be asking for one of her tables each time I visit.

Nice spot to grab a cold one and watch a game with friends. Wings are good, beer is cold and plenty of TV's.

Really had a great experience here. Would recommend over Hooters anyday. While your waiting on your food they have an awesome atmosphere of games including a pool table and a basketball game that you can play. Not to mention the girls are on point! Food was good as well.

Not only a Hooters knockoff, but you'll think you're at Hooters due to poor service, beautiful waitresses that allow for forgiveness, average food and a great setting for watching sports. I'm originally from the Buffalo, NY, area, so I am always cautious when a review says, "Best wings I've ever had." These wings were cooked just right (crisp but not dried out), but that's all that was good. We ordered mild, medium, and hot sauce. They all looked, smelled, and tasted nearly the same. Like many places, celery and blue cheese was $.99 extra with the blue cheese coming in a pre-packaged container (a little larger than a thimble) of sauce that was a cross between ranch and blue cheese....no Ken's or Marie's here. I overheard a woman seated at a table nearby tell the waitress that her hot wings "weren't hot at all." That's about as plain and accurate as one can get. As far as the setting, the place is loud like a sports bar is expected to be, clean, bright, and full of tvs. There is also a game room with a pool table and coin operated basketball hoop/game, among others. The service was poor as our waitress came around not nearly enough, forgot the blue cheese and extra wing sauce we ordered, and didn't offer up refills without us waving her down from across the restaurant. The kids menu was the same as anywhere else...blah. This was an ok place for kids as it wasn't rowdy inside even though there were lots of sporting events and fans cheering their teams. Overall, I wouldn't return with my family, but a group of guys looking for cold beer and a great surrounding would find this place appealing.

I walked in and asked for a table. "Is in the back okay?" Having never been there, I didn't realize that I should have said no. But thinking about it, if the waitress has to ask if a particular location is "okay" to seat me in, no, no it is not okay. "in the back" is by the pool table and basketball arcade game, making it impossible to hear yourself think. The cooks are too lazy to remove the wing tip from the chicken wings, making eating wings even messier than it normally is. The blue cheese they give you (correction, they *sell* you, for 69¢ each) is both tiny and ridiculously shaped: it's not possible to actually dip a wing into it. The waitress was no where in sight for at least 10 minutes after I finished my meal. When she returned, it was obvious where she had been, as I nearly choked on the dense cloud of cigarette smoke she brought back to the table. Every time she did come to the table, she did her best to get me to look at her cleavage, first sitting at the other side of the table, then leaning over the table, then kneeling down beside me. Apparently she thought if I liked her breasts, I would overlook the horrid service and meager food. (Oh, and they don't even have DirectTv, so I couldn't even watch the football game I came in to see) Suffice to say, I will not be back.

At wing house, men I didnt know the girls don't were clothes here!!! Its nice I'll be back with a review. Blackend wings you have to try them, i thought i had chicken every kind of way until i came here, try it two thumbs up as tom and jerry would say.

I should have known in the sunshine state were scantily clad women are a dime a dozen the ever popular Hooters just wouldn't cut it. A second less is more restaurant by the name of Winghouse can be found scattered about the few Hooters in Orlando beckoning the same clientele. Instead of while tanks and orange shorts these well endowed girls are stuffed into black tanks and shorts. Winghouse is a sports bar specializing in wings and of course a good view and I'm not talking about the game. The menu here is standard, its really not a place you come for food though its a nice bonus when being delivered by a half naked girl.

    (3)
  • Matthew H.

Well, what can I say. You don't really come here for five star dining. As a guy, and a guy who is "typical", this place is quite a blessing. The wings are ok, I recommend naked style with Dallas Sauce, pretty decent. Their sandwiches are ok, but you really come here for the scenery. It seems as if they only hire the prettiest and curviest women on earth, and they know it. Sometimes you may not get a friendly server, if she thinks you're not going to tip well, but, as a guy, I really can't complain. Hooter's may have the name recognition, but Winghouse is a MUCH better alternative. Guys, go and have fun, and enjoy their drink specials.

I love this place. It's very clean, the girls are very attractive and nice. Me and my friends are definitely coming back for football. The wings are good and the beer is good. I like the new uniforms for the bartenders I think that all the girls should be wearing them for football and not just the bartenders. They're very cute, but I like the cropped ones better.

The only positive parts about this experience were the fried pickles and our server, Destinee. She was sweet and helpful. The wings (original and boneless) were sub par, the beers arrived with more than a quarter inch of empty glass on top after sitting at the bar with a ticket inside the glass -- touching the beer. GROSS. Icing on the cake? The food upset mine and my husband's stomachs the entire night and the following day. I will not be returning.

This was a place today where everything exceeded our expectations. First of all their $1.99 Happy Hour beer price is the best I have found in Orlando. Moving to the food, the baby back ribs were cooked perfectly. So tender and full of flavor. My wife enjoyed her wings and sweet potatoe fries. The server, Erica, had seven tables at one time, but no one had to wait for anything. She was super friendly and knew the menu very well. This place is a keeper. Too bad I do not get to Florida too often.

Second time here in a year, and still a solid 3 star. Today was Wednesday, or shall we say Bottomless Boneless Wednesday. $10.00 for plate after plate of boneless wings. Still go with the Dallas/Hot sauce mix, you won't be disappointed. The service is still amazing and the food, despite being all you can eat, was delicious.

We had spotted this place several months ago and tagged it as a place for future dining. That day came 2 days ago...and oh my. The restaurant is nice - nice bar ambiance and the hostess greeted us and sat us quickly. It was about mid-afternoon and the place wasn't very busy. (As noted in other reviews/comments, it seems to be in competition with Hooters). Our waitress was very nice, I got the impression that she may have been new. The food, however, is a different story. The order consisted of chicken tacos, chicken quesadilla and 50 wings. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time and looked delish but it was all less than hot. The temperature did not resemble that of fresh cooked food. Further more, it was so bland - no pizzaz at all, pretty tasteless. It was so disappointing. Sorry guys, I won't be going back there.

This was my First time visiting this place and my last. I love wings! I've had better ones else where. I ordered platter of 50 wings 1/2 garlic parmesan and 1/2 "Dallas"( a honey bbq sauce that's sweeter than I would like). I must say my waitress was ok, she smiled the whole time and kept coming back to see if my party needed anything. The quesadillas were plain, just chicken and cheese with a side of shredded lettuce. There was no tomatoes or sour cream. Hmm I guess tho each their own & everyone makes it differently. The wings weren't hot when served, as if they were pre-cooked sitting on the side then tossed in the sauce when ordered. The garlic parmesan wings was a hit-n-miss with the sauce not on all the chicken and it was just a goop of garlic and fatty substance underneath the chicken wings on the entire plate... what was that!? That was an instant turn off for me. I would suggest placing a small order before placing a large order to see if you like em first. So sad and disappointed because I love chicken. :(

Popped in after a Pitbull concert at Universal....huge mistake! It took over 10 minutes to order a drink (at the bar) with less than 10 peeps. I'm sitting across the bar from a crack-whore. The wings aren't bad but customer service sucks a big one!

My wife and I are all about wings and this felt like it could be the best place to devour some wings on the healthier side of things. We had garlic parmesan and Asian medium wings. They came pretty timely and service was average. I was uncomfortable with her butt all up in my face with those terrible outfits but that's not part of my reason for giving 2 stars. When I started to eat my wings, I noticed there was a feather, yes, a FEATHER attached to the wing. That wasn't the only one, there were several just the same. Absolutely disgusting. I'll never come back. Plus, they're ranch isn't house made which is a big turn off.

Not a good experience... Where do I start? First there was something slimy in my sons soda and when I showed the waitress all she did was say "ok I'll get him another one"... She acted like it was normal.. Then we got cheese queso, which is actually COLD chili queso... and YUCK! My son asked for sour cream... It never came... Food comes out... No plates, no silverware... I had asked for a side of the Asian sauce... Yep you guessed it... None came, until I asked again... Wings were bland and had very little sauce, but my son got the Garlic Parmesan and it was dripping in sauce. Overall, I won't come back to this location. It wasn't even busy, so no excuses.

Hooters with girls in black shorts instead of orange... We stopped by while at a conference in Orlando and were pleased. The food is on par with Hooters but with less variety. Fortunately, it is also a good bit cheaper. Long hammer IPA was $1.55 during happy hour. That's tough to beat. The wings were pretty good. Our visited was on Valentines day and all of the servers were in costume. I like that unlike Hooters, they don't get all wrapped up in pretending to be family friendly. It's a sports bar with pretty waitresses with tight shorts and bare midriffs. They don't claim to be anything else. An extra star for honesty! Great for a guys night out.

It is sad to see a place that has potential do that bad. I went with my sister and nephews and got seated quickly and we ordered appetizers that came out quickly. My friend decided to join us and her beer took 10 minutes to get to her then our server could not be found to place an order for wings, finally when she came to our table we ordered wings it was only one of ten and one of five and it took 36 minutes for it yo get to us. By then we wanted to leave and the manager approached us saying the ticket time was only 15 minutes so I'm guessing that the server forgot to put in our order. I'm a manager myself and it's disappointing to see a manager talk to a table and not offer anything to make the customer happy as a manager I would expect a little more. I will like to return and see how things turn out as I would like a customer to return to my restaurant and give it another try. I hope I get someone to actually look and reply to me as my district manager does for people who write there reviews about my restaurant

If you like "hot" wings, then the "house on fire" the only way to go! Only thing i wish they had was some sort of homemade bleu cheese. Overall my service here has always been good and i always get to watch a good game or two!

Recently, the Monday night crew has gone through too many changes. After multiple weeks in a row of horrible service, a recent Monday ended our team's relationship with Winghouse. We came in with 15 people and were given an obviously inexperienced server. It took us 45 minutes to get all of our drinks, despite talking to the manager for a 2nd straight week. I was served my meal a full 20 minutes before the other 14 people. Our waitress argued with a teammate when she got his order wrong. 3 people did not get food as she never ordered it. In the end, it was a 2-hour debacle that finally saw the manager comping our ENTIRE 15-person food & drink order. Easily $200+ in stuff was given to us for free, but after decreasing service, we couldn't bring ourselves to go back. It's been a good place before, but be careful what night and what server you get.

Went to pick up 50 wings for an office birthday party today. That was my first mistake. Never been to this Wing House or any other Wing House for that matter. Most of these breastaurants focus on the skanks working there as opposed to serving decent food. Picked up my 50 wings. BTW, celery and ranch/bleu cheese dressing is extra. What? When? Anyway, I thought they'd be smothered in buffalo sauce like Frank's Red Hot Wing sauce. Not. They were lightly coated in some sweet sauce. Yuk! Plus the wings were dry and overcooked. Not sue why anyone would like this place. Even the waitresses were dry, overcooked and fake...just like these wings. Never again. My first time was my last time. Want great wings? Go to Flyers, West Colonial Drive. No skanky waitresses. Just great wings. If yelp had zero star ratings, this place would qualify.

I agree with Eric P. Winghouse over Hooters any day. Just better food and all in general - I love their fried pickles, the amazing Dallas sauce, great drafts and generous amount of coupons they hand out for buy 5 get 5 wings free and free beer drafts.
