First of all, I walked in and it was like, " where do I go, where do I sit?" No clear direction for anything but the bar area which is smack dab in the center of the room. I initially came for carry-out but it was hard to find that section. I'm just saying, if you are going to have servers and seating why not have some sort of host or greeter to tell you where to sit. Boo on that. I order 2 orders of wings and Potato skins, eww! The wings were dry and hard cooked, I waited for far to long for my wings to be old looking and dry. They were supposed to be Medium flavored and come with blue cheese but No they were hardly flavorful and came with nothing. Get this, for Ranch or Blue cheese its $.75, right! Lame, I just spent almost $25 and all I get are dry wings and sour cream, you mean to tell me I can't get nothing... Needless to say, I'm not going back. Oh so my Mom called in, she spoke with the manager and he was going to replace our order (Which seemed nice), right?!?! Dude never sent the driver. For it only to be a few Wing places in the 32822 area, Wing Shack you really dropped the ball on this one.

It is 100% a dive bar but the wings are delicious!!!! They have a great lunch deal. The naked lemon pepper wings are everything! Get them fried. I usually get them to go. My friends and family love them too.

Came here on a Friday night looking to get my wing and cheap beer fix. I cam with a buddy of mine from work who told me I absolutely had to order the trophy wings, and they were AWESOME!!!! This place has the best wings I've had since I've moved to Orlando. I'm also someone who appreciates a really hot chicken wing, so I tried the suicide sauce as well. This sauce had a really great kick but not overpowering to the point that I couldn't enjoy it! Best of all it was cheap! So if you like Yuengling and good wings, you must come here!

Think gators dockside with extra dirt, dust and the chance some 59-year-old guy will try and fight you. There's a fine line between charm and crummy food and this place is on the wrong side of that line. It's so bad I haven't even tried to go back on $.50 wing night and I could walk home from this place. It's like I'm not even angry I'm just disappointed their food is so bad.

Hands down best wings in town! I've tried all the different wing sauces but the Trophy and Honey Bourbon are my absolute favorite! Not only do they have great wings, but the burgers and sandwiches are delicious as well! You can't go wrong with anything you order as everything tastes good! Friendly Service and good drink prices! They have a band every Fri. and Sat. night that brings in a good crowd and makes for a fun evening. There are also pool tables available. As an Orlando native, I'm always a supporter of moms n pops places and this establishment has been around almost twenty years. Kid friendly and patio seating. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I don't come for the decor, I come for the food and service!

Went here last night because I was feenin' for some chicken wings. Wing Shack has a decent selection of flavors and I especially like that you can get your wings grilled also. They have a signature sauce, the "Trophy" wing sauce, that's pretty good. It's your typical sports bar type atmosphere. Low-key and laid back. One side of the restaurant has quite a few pool tables... there's a large bar in the middle... and there's TV's everywhere tuned to whatever sport happens to be on at the time. Our server was pleasant and our food came out quick. It satisfied my wing craving and the price was right! I'd definitely go back for some more yummy eating!

This is a sports bar. I'm sure it's a great place to watch violent men behave violently in 6-second increments, punctuated by Bud Light and Chevy ads, and I'm not saying that is without value. As social animals, we thrive on communion over such things. Over anything, really... glass paperweights, the curative magic of Dr. Oz, Magical Benevolent Man in the Sky; these are the activities that bring us together. That's how business gets done, that's how alliances are formed and clients won. However, when you show up during the last 5 minutes of an Eagles game on Sunday night, not having known they were playing or that anyone cares, it gets a little strange. When the food and service aren't all that good either, it's a little less than fine. Once the Eagles lost, the place cleared out. I ordered some wings. Those came; they were mediocre. Some fries we ordered were pretty small and took a really long time to come. I guess that's fine for a place where people sit for 2 hours to watch Sporting Event (tm) (R) (This Sporting event brought to you by Coors, the official beer of Sporting Event... AND... Dodge RAM, the official medium duty truck of Sporting event. Catch all your favorite Sporting Events on Dish Network - the official network of Sporting Event). Maybe I had something else in mind. Anyway, the kicker for me is that the wings aren't really that good. Maybe I've been spoiled by wings elsewhere, coming from a region with no industry or other redeeming features. They were small here, and though the soggy/crisp ratio was perfect, the seasonings were a little bland. If you come here and want spicy wings, don't get hot; get whatever is above that. They weren't hot.

Eh. ^ that about describes this place. Dark, dank, kind of sad. And whatever those wings were famous for, it certainly wasn't taste or size. Although cheap, the wings were very small, soggy, and disappointing. Also, I went to get wings to-go. There is no hostess station in the restaurant, also no sign telling you to choose a seat. We had to stand at the bar to flag down a bartender since no one came to seat/direct us for 5 minutes when we first walked in. The bartender was friendly and helpful, and our wings came out quickly, but since they weren't worth the diet splurge, I won't be going back. On the positive side, the restaurant is quite large, and has a lot of huge projector screens for sports.

Great wings, fun atmosphere. Try them trophy style. Or mix the sauces and get them grilled

Good wings if you get the sauce on the side on your first trip. This seems to happen on every to go order.

Ordered these famous wings.. they were alright... nothing special... I don't know why they're famous. I've definitely had better, but they were okay.

I have eaten wings from Wing Shack a few times now. Normally, I call in my order so I can pick up my food and watch the games from the comfort of my own home. The wings are always good, great even. My problem with this establishment is with the service I have experienced during a few of my visits. A few weeks ago my mom and I dropped in for a quick bite. The service on that day was pretty good, in fact I would say above par. Unfortunately, in my experience, that is the exception to the rule. The last time I visited, I was just hanging out with my business partner and enjoying a couple of drinks (or so we were attempting to do). We sat outside and watched part of the Magic game. A waitress came out to service a large group. As she started to go back inside, I got up and approached her about ordering drinks. (I had to get up, because while she looked over at the two of us, she didnt think we were thirsty... while we were going to a bar...) Rather than taking our order, she told me that we could just go inside and place our own orders at the bar. I went inside and stood at the bar with credit card in hand for almost seven mins before I was able to place a drink order. Now, let me point out that there were 7 people at the bar, two of which were served just before I walked in. The bartender spent his time ogling over three girls. He looked directly at me twice, and yet somehow didnt think I was worth the 15 ft walk down the bar to take an order. A server walked behind the bar and began washing a couple of glasses. She too looked at me but didnt find it necessary to take my order. Finally, after seven minutes I was able to get the two beers I went in to order - although only one of them was correct because they apparently dont keep a good stock of Blue Moon on hand. I was so offended by this experience, it will be quite difficult for me to consider visiting this establishment again.

We went on a recommendation that their wings are the best in central Florida. Don't get me wrong--they were pretty good---but nothing to scream about. It's a bar type of atmosphere, and our focus was trying their proclaimed Trophy Wings. They were definitely good stuff! The wings seemed a little on the short-end, being small and unfilling. Taste-wise they were great, but we were a little disappointed and are unlikely to go out of our way to have them again.

This place has a great late night happy hour that begins at 10 p.m. and includes 45 cent wings and a good variety of drink specials. On my most recent visit, I sat at the bar and received excellent service. Of course, I ordered more than I could possibly eat in one sitting (6 wings and deluxe nachos with chicken-don't judge me), so I had snacks for the next day (who knew nachos were even tasty cold??!!). Because I'm not really into local sports bar-type places, I mainly just pay the occasional visit to feed my tapeworm and have a nice cold $1.50 Yeungling (after 10, of course). Clearly I won't be entering a fitness competition any time soon, but should I change my mind, they also have a nice selection of salads and healthier sandwiches that I have yet to explore....I'll report back on that.

Not sure why everyone is always down on this place... Yeah, the management isn't the best, but I am always treated very well by ALL the bartenders.....

We have been a customer for several years and have enjoyed our visits.... well up until last night. Came in at about 7 PM to a fairly quite crowd except for the "drunk guy" (if he wasn't drunk I hope he isn't that loud all the time). We were seated several tables away and next to several families one of which were small children. Several times his friends told him to quiet down and not curse because of the kids (Yay friends!!). Then, I hear the bartender let loose a loud string of curses that would make a sailor blush, poor form lady bartender!! The worst came when the "drunk guy" started using racial slurs. I watched a patron who just sat down and paid for a beer got up and left (obviously offended). We were really disappointed to see that the bar tender did nothing, like for example "invite" the drunk guy to leave immediately, once again very poor form lady bartender. Zero tolerance for that behavior should be expected. We did have a conversation with the waitress (she was awesome!) who talked with the on duty manager. I would not recommend this place as a family restaurant until the bar staff enforces some family and for that matter "humanity friendly" standards. To try and end on a positive note, the food was good as was the service . Also to be fair this was the first time I have had this type of experience here.

GO FOR THE TROPHY WINGS DEFINITELY NOT THE SERVICE. I tried the trophy wings-I will never eat another wing anywhere else again. WOW! Run don't walk-get these....the lunch special isgreat too. Wings w/ fries or salad is like 7.50 (8 wings) for 14 wings it's only $1 more. The bartenders look like they've seen better days, so so service but the wings are great. Haven't tried any other food here-not even interested. I only go for the wings.

I have been coming here for years. The food is good and service is better if you are a regular. They have a good variety of items on their menu. Friday and Saturday night are very busy...and they often have live entertainment. They are most noted for their wings and sports bar environment due to the large screen TV's and at times rowdy crowd. The most notable negative is the place could use an upgrade and at times their is a strong stale bar smell odor. I would have given four stars based on consistent food quality, location, fast carry out and if I were a frequent dine in customer.

  • Jim B.

The service is very spotty. Sometimes good, most of the time bad... We sat ourselves and waited, and waited, and waited for someone to come to our table... An employee came by and took our drink orders and said "Stephanie" would be our server... We waited even longer... we kept seeing an employee outside talking with her friends... Well, THAT was Stephanie! after waiting about 20 minutes she finally took our order... The food is OK, their hamburgers are really good! The wings are not bad, wouldn't say they were the best...

Finally tried this place after passing it so many times. Gotta like a place with a bunch of TVs. I had the 14 wing + fries lunch special for only 7.49. Service gets a 3, i waited and even looked at the server and she just looked back and didn't acknowledge. Really? so i sat myself down and of course she comes. But she was nice. The place looked really old and definitely needed renovation. There was a technician working on a ladder as soon as we got in, so it shows they are fixing it...sorta. As far as taste, the trophy wings and lemon pepper combo are delicious. Sweet tea could use a kick to it. Overall very average experience. Definitely an eagles fan owner in here cuz there was eagles memorabilia everywhere. So not good if you don't like the eagles. Overall, place is OK. Definitely worth the lunch specials though.

I used to love this place till they got someone new in the kitchen. .. The past 4 time we have ordered 50 wings and they've been way over cooked. . So if you want have a drink great place to go to BUT DONE ORDER WINGS when a guy named Brad is working or ask or someone else to cook them.

Not bad at all. This is a neighborhood bar with a lot of cool prior military service old timers. The food is average and they have a decent selection of beers. The bartender is a lovely, attractive woman with a winning personality.

Stopped by here because I was craving for some wings and this is the closest one to my area. It was pretty packed for a weekday..and I decided to order some lemon pepper wings to go.. The wings were tad bit greasy and tad bit salty for my palate.. Wingzone have better wings and so does hooters.

  • Colleen B.

I have to add a star because I had the nachos and well...they were AWESOME! Went back for the most horrific football game I have ever witnessed since...well the week before. However, the E-A-G-L-E-S fans were still in the house with H-O-P-E =) I am not really sure what else to say but if you are not a sports fan and are not sure what happened...the Eagles basically didn't show up so...as soon as that game was over the bar was EMPTY! It was kinda funny. Anyway, I did want to update this review because before when I was reviewing this place I was not reviewing it correctly. If you go in there with expectations set that it is a Sports Bar (heavily towards the Eagles) this is a pretty good bar. Ton of TVs and funny, friendly servers. If you walk in there not knowing what to expect, you are NOT going to be wowed. So, next football season, I will most likely be back. Other sports events...not too sure but maybe.

A great bar, great service (I always go for the Eagles games), great wings, and a fun atmosphere. There are a lot of ratings showing bad service...I hope the owner is on here and sees the comments and is improving. I would hate to lose my hangout spot to watch a game.... Thanks!

I'm a big fan of their medium garlic wings grilled. The grilled part gives them an extra bit of charred flavor. They deep fry the wings and then toss em on the grill. It's almost healthy right? I don't go in there as often as I used to. It was a great place to just hang out and shoot some darts or pool. It seems the service has just gone down hill. I'm fine with take out wings!

  • Dale O.

This place was voted 'best wings' in town a couple of years ago, so being a wing addict, I decided to check it out one quiet afternoon. I sat at the bar and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, the server acknowledged me, and I was able to order a beer. I found a menu sitting on the opposite end of the bar all by myself. The sullen server never returned. I left some money on the bar after I finished my my beer and walked out. A couple of weeks later, one afternoon I came back. Pretty much the same scenario, except this time my beer was served in a warm, soapy mug. Eccch. No menu was offered, and the disgruntled server disappeared, never to return. Third visit: I waited, and waited, and left. I never did get to try their wings. Its in the Winn Dixie plaza at the corner of Michigan and Conway, Give it a try If you're feeling lucky.

I love coming here after a long day at work. The trophy wings are the best. They have live music and several pool tables to enjoy.

  • Brian M.

worst wings in Orlando. They need to hire a cook from Mcdonald's to teach them not to burn things in a fryer. on a positive note service wasn't that bad ad the drinks are strong and inexpensive. Its ok to drink here just dont waste your money on the food

  • Cliffy M.

I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I love their grilled wings. I've been going here for 15 years for the grilled wings. Hot or suicide. Neither is killer hot. But the grilling burns off the oil and fat and crisps them up. And when they actually do them right, they are great. And then there is the rest of it. Managment and service is as bad as everyone else has already said. I used to go there with the guys from work for the Friday lunch specials, but we had to stop. We just couldn't spend two hours trying to eat lunch during the work week. We'd be the only ones there, and the kitchen was that slow. For evening take out, you need to check your order before you leave. Half the time, they F it up. The waitresses are indifferent at best. I blame the owner, Sean Casey, who is an absentee owner. No real manager would tolerate this wait staff. Don't go late at night unless you like a drunk, surly, dangerous crowd. There is a reason the regulars call it "the Shitter." Two people have been killed on premises in recent years. They have a hard liquor license and cheap shots. A lot of patrons get very, very messed up and it goes down hill from there.

  • Michael C.

It's like this wing house is staffed by Hooter's girls that couldn't make the cut. So it really blows your mind when when you get poor service, followed by bad attitude. I guess the two go hand when you see the clientele: salty dogs who act like they've never seen a girl in six months, except they come to this place....every night. The wings are wimpy and you wonder what keeps people coming for more. Maybe it's the football, as Wing Shack is the Central Florida Home of the Philadelphia Eagles (I don't know how that's determined) but it is evident by the Eagles paraphernalia all over the walls. As I understand it, the owner is a big Philly fan and has been known to go crazy when his team reaches the playoffs, having the girls jump up on tables and sing the Eagles fight song in unison. Might be worth a shot after to get yourself kicked out of the other wing joints.

Recommended by a friend - finally got around to getting over there, and the wings did not disappoint! The Trophy wings (fried and grilled) were awesome, and all other orders were extra well-done just as I asked. Sauces were good but not spectacular. 50-cent wing special on Wednesday night is a bonus. Only downside really was the dive atmosphere (pool tables, extremely loud jukebox), but I'll be back for the wings.

This place drew me in with its name, I love wings and am always on the hunt for new wing experiences. So I checked it out during happy hour to see what Wing Shack had to offer. It sits in the corner of a shopping plaza, with a grocery store on one side and small shops on the other. The Wings themselves were good, I enjoyed the teriaki and hot boneless versions. But the place was kind of empty except for a few regulars and it seemed run down. I went back on several occasions to find it always giving off the impression they were about to close up or something and this was early in on the day. They do have pool tables and darts on one side of the place, plus tables for dining on the other. I sat at the bar in the hopes of catching a game but the viewing angles were poor and I had a difficult time even seeing my team. So after giving this place a couple strikes I decided it was out. I've been to many sports bars in the area and prefer all of them to Wing Shack. It would be cool if you lived in the neighborhood, as I think everyone I saw here did. It does have potential, just didn't get an upbeat vibe.

I'd really love to give this place 5 stars because of the fact that they have probably some of the best wings in all of Orlando... But, just went there tonight and the service was horrible! Our server had like 2 tables including ours, and she was MIA almost the entire time. Another thing that really pissed me off was that on their website ( wingshack.com ) if you go to the calender page, it says that they have 50cent wings and live music starting at 8:30 on wednesdays. Well when we got there and sat down they had a completely different menu/calendar thing that showed the 50cent wings only going from 3-7 for happy hour(false advertisement maybe?). After finishing the wings that we decided to go ahead and order even though they were full price unlike the website advertises, we had to eventually hunt down the waitress(spanish looking chick) so we could pay our tabs and go sit at the bar and enjoy some slightly better service from the wonderful and friendly Brittany. I might possible go here again only because I like the wings and enjoy the live entertainment, but will certainly not go out of my way to visit this place unless its on my way home from somewhere.

I'm kind of conflicted about this place (which seems to be the consensus among the other reviews)... Colleen B. and I went to meet some friends to watch an Eagles game, which, let's face it, is the #1 reason to go to this place. Who knew Orlando had such a giant Eagles following?! I felt a bit out of place because it seemed like everyone in the (PACKED) place knew each other! It was like all of Philly took a road trip to watch the game in Sunny Florida, or something. It was really crowded and loud, and I honestly couldn't believe that so many people had their children with them. One of our waitresses was nice, but super busy. Another was not so nice... and also super busy. The service was pretty slow, but it was seriously packed to the brim, so I guess it's understandable. I ate a Philly Cheesesteak, which was pretty good, but not amazing. I kind of felt like if I had walked into this place wearing the opposing team's colors, I might have gotten beat up... Like, for real. So the fact that they happened to be playing the Cowboys this Sunday, I decided to just not mention that I'm from Texas... yipes! I did, however, manage to get some scandalous photos with the giant wall sticker of my lovely Donovan McNabb! Mmmmmm....

  • Kristin O.

This place is great to watch an Eagles game, you (almost) feel like you are actually in a dive bar in Philly on a game day. Other than that, it's a dive. All the fried food, wings included are pretty decent, nothing exceptional, especially not the service but if you are just looking for a place to hangout, this is as good as any other. The cheesesteak, as anywhere outside of Philly is pretty weak, but it's not the worst I've ever had either.

  • Tom W.

Just a local hang out spot. Never overly excited about their food or wings. The Waitresses normally always seem rushed or not overy enthusiastic about serving you. The bartender Kim was a bright spot while up there. Nice place to play pool and not be bothered or rushed.

  • J. R.

As soon as I sat down at the central bar, a waitress approached me and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered a cheap draft beer and 10 hot wings. She then introduced herself and asked me for my name. Kimberly remembered my name and continually checked on me, addressing me by name. I went at 6pm on Saturday, so the place wasn't overly packed. But it was still a nice gesture. I rate their service 5 stars on my first visit. The place is a dive for locals, but in the best possible way. It is a great, all-around American sports bar. It has several flat panel TVs over the bar and many projectors focused on the walls playing various sports. There is plenty of seating, a jukebox, dart boards, and several pool tables. One reviewer mentioned being confused as to where to sit; I don't see how one could be confused where to sit in a sports bar. There is seating outside, near the entrance, with umbrellas for smokers. As I approached the entrance, horrible country music was blaring through clouds of cigarette smoke. At that moment I knew it would be my go-to spot to watch sports and indulge in bar food. What's more, it is within stumbling distance to my house (jokes). The "hot" wings were average and on the smaller side. While they weren't particularly hot, I was hungry and they worked. They weren't dry, and came dripping in "hot" sauce. Celery and dipping sauce (ranch/blue cheese) are extra. I imagine they'd be perfect after a pitcher of cheep beer, but not bad for what they are. This isn't a place to take your family for a wholesome meal, and their food, service, and atmosphere is commensurate with its sports-bar identity. This place is perfect to go grab a cheep American beer in a t-shirt, chill out, gnaw on some wings, and watch some sports or play billiards.

Apparently lunch time is best at Wing Shack. Very few customers present and no distractions from bar activities. The wings are available in an many flavors as you can imagine so I picked garlic parmesan. I'm hungry again just thinking about them! The 14 wings plus salad is very affordable for anyone's lunch budget.
