Pretty dang good waffles. Being a native of the Northwest, I also liked the southern style of this restaurant. Orders are yelled out, staff is friendly, and food is good. The only dilemma I have is how many waffles to order.

Waffle House do what a Waffle House is supposed to do.

This location is very small. We had a party of 8 and felt very squished in a booth. The waitress must have been working here her entire life because she had a mood about her that wasn't very pleasant. When the food was brought to our table, it was brought piece by piece. First came the pancakes on it's own plate ... 10 mins later the bacon showed up and another 10 minutes came the rest of our meals. I probably won't be back.

The inside of the restaurant looked sketch from afar, but I convinced myself this was another hole in the wall worth trying after reading the reviews. First, we saw the waitress scrape something off one of our forks with her nail before placing it on our table. Unfortunately, her nail failed to remove all of the dried food. Second, there were ants crawling on the windowsill touching our table. The third and final straw was when the chef was cross-contaminating raw eggs with other ingredients and wiping his hands clean on his apron. The only bright side was the waitress was nice. In the end, however, we went to IHOP instead and didn't look back.

I can't believe there is no Waffle House in California. Now I know what all the hub-bub is about!! The waffles were just this buttery goodness that melted in your mouth and had me ordering another couple of them for good measure.

We had a well priced breakfast here. Under 40.00 for the four of us, no shortage of food. Tasted great , service was good. Location not the best double hwy between entrance , but once you figure that out not so bad. Will return there in the future. Cheers

Over the last few decades we've been to dozens of Waffle Houses across the Midwest and South. What sets this location aside from others? Simple. It's one of the busiest in the chain and carries a huge staff. I had a few Canadians in town for business who had wanted to experience the Waffle House. I took them for breakfast and there were more than a dozen people working at this busy location. You'll find good service. Meanwhile, the food remains below average. In fact, we had to send two waffles back because they weren't cooked enough. Still no one can argue about the value here. It's one of the cheapest places to eat in Orlando and while the quality is below par the price remains a steal.

Upon walking in, there were 3 parties in front of us and a tiny space to accommodate their guests. We weren't to hopeful on what would happen next. We were pleasantly surprised, however. We were sat in less than 5 minutes. The restaurant was run like a well oiled machine. Keva, our waitress, waited on us Immediately. I ordered the grilled ham and cheese and my wife got the BLT and we split an order of hash browns with mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese. This was her first time at a Waffle House and I am sure it will not be her last. The ambiance felt like a classic old time diner, where everyone knows your name and is happy to see you. I am kind of happy that we don't have waffle houses closer to us, due to the fact that we would both be significantly heavier.

My brother likes this place. He also likes mustard with his fries so that's not saying much. Long wait for what tasted like frozen generic waffles. The tables felt like were coated in syrup, and our menus kept sticking to our hands. Cheap bacon. Okay eggs. Decent hasbrowns. Meh waffles.

Friendly service, nice place to eat and go when on the road. Popular place among tourist like me. I recommend the hash browns

My first visit EVER to Waffle House! I knew for sure I was going to order the hash browns - scattered, smothered and covered because that's pretty much the first thing I think of when I hear "Waffle House." Oddly enough, I've never heard anyone talk about the waffles, but I'm guessing they're good?? There was about a 20 minute wait on Sunday morning, but a waitress came out with menus and pre-took our orders. Food was pretty good. Their bacon was super crispy (in a good way!). I thought the onions could have been cooked more on the hash browns and it made me laugh because there was basically a square of Kraft singles on top. My mom ordered the regular hash browns and I thought they were actually better! When they're not "scattered" the hash browns are in a circular shape and reminded me of latkes. If I'm ever at another Waffle House, I'm going to get regular hash browns with gravy! I wasn't quite drunk enough to get the hype around Waffle House, but I the food is cheap, service is efficient and I'd say it's A-OK.

Was packed but we got in right away. Service was great and food was too. Could have been a Cleaner restaurant, but all in all we left full and happy!

Being from California, I have heard about Waffle House from my Southern friends but I have never set foot in one until our visit to Orlando. And I am glad I finally got to try their offerings! Let me just say that I am completely jealous that we do not have Waffle Houses at home. The food is cheap and the food is better than Ihop's or Denny's. We particularly loved the biscuit items. The crowd that we encountered here differed with each visit -- out-of-towners like us, road trippers who are just making a quick pit stop before hitting the road again, kids just freshly from their prom -- and it was all very fun for us to make a quick guessing game of who we would encounter before we set foot in the place. Now, what makes me give them 4 stars instead of 3 is that they saved us from hunger quite a few times. Since our stomachs are on PST, we left the resorts without eating dinner at least twice and returned to our hotel ravenous. And since it is rather hard to find places open that late, this Waffle House was our lifesaver. While probably not the best Waffle House ever (remember, my point of comparison is rather poor), we are very happy to have found this Waffle House. If you are looking for cheap, late night eats, I recommend Waffle House.

This is an awesome place to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had the waffle and sausage, and the waffle is so delicious. This spot was spot is small, so we had to wait for about 15 minutes. It is worth the wait. Yum yum

My party of 4 walked in to this Waffle House with one table occupied and the rest not bussed from other people. Given, it's Waffle House. Our table was bussed and we sat down, and waited while other tables were bussed to put in a drink order. Once that finally happened we all ordered everything at once, one of us requesting for two waters because they were thirsty. Once our food came out (before any drinks) it was all misplated or incorrect. We had a bowl of cheese grits that was poured over a bowl of oatmeal. We had a cup of coffee no-show. We had a waffle forgotten about and not ordered as well. We had hash browns that were half of what we ordered. They were smothered, but a little on everyone's wrong plates. Like I said, it's Waffle House, but this was an impressive experience for us all.

Small space and super packed but the waiting period turned out to be short. The hostess was kind enough to provide us menus while we waited. I ordered Chocolate Chip Waffles with bacon (it was nice and crispy), scrambled eggs, hash browns and it came with slices of toast. At first I wasn't too happy with the chocolate chips just being thrown on top of my waffle but after spreading some butter it didn't matter if it was in or out; everything was delicious. My husband ordered the Loaded Hash Browns and it was awesome! A fully loaded order of hash browns includes potatoes, onions, cheese, ham, tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, mushrooms, chili and sausage gravy. I personally can do without the gravy. Nonetheless, I couldn't stop eating off his plate! I definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

This place is extremely delicious! I came here for the first time with my family and we were all treated with a really warm welcome. We felt comfortable and happy to have been greeted so nicely. We came with empty tummies and oh boy! Was the breakfast amazing! Chocolate chip waffles, bacon, scrambled egg, toast, the traditional but with such great taste. Also, their hot sauce gave the egg good flavor. The waitress was very nice and treated us with lovely service. Will come back before we leave back to Waffle House-less California!

Waffle House can be a house of horrors, but sometimes Waffle House can feel just like a trip to Grandma's, if your grandmother stays up 24 hours a day, has dreadlocks, and specializes in late night drunk food. This Waffle House in particular matches that description. Probably the best Waffle House experience I have ever had. First off the service was stellar. Our waitress was a really nice woman with AWESOME dreads. She was clearly working really hard as they were understaffed. She apologized for the wait, got our food out 10 minutes later, and gave us a discount. Whattttt?!?! That's like high class, bottle service. Is this a Vegas club or Waffle House? I forgot. Then the food came out. Dang! Waffle House is upping their game. Their flagship waffles? Spot on. Their bacon? REAL bacon! And delicious. Hashbrowns? REAL hashbrowns!!!! Whaaaatttttttt?!?! Biscuits and gravy? More like gold smothered in more gold!!!!! All in all, we were thoroughly impressed with our Waffle House experience. If you are looking for a late night bite, hit up the Waffle House!

Dined here at 6:20am because it was one of the only restaurants open at that hour and on my way to my GRE exam. I was a bit skeptical about dining alone while it was still dark out but a girl needed her brain food. As soon as I walked in I was helped. My server was very friendly. My food came out quickly. I got a classic breakfast. Scrambled eggs, toast, hashbrowns, ham, and tried the waffle everyone keeps talking about. It was ok, nothing spectacular. The dining room itself was quite small. Reminded me of an old diner. A bit outdated and could use some remodeling. What stuck out the most to me was how friendly the staff was even though it was such an ungodly hour. They put me in a great mood and then I was on my way to my exam.

This place was really good. I ordered the hash browns all the way and that was just crazy good. Everyone at the table had to try them. The waffles were good too and the service was super fast.

So generally speaking I am not a chain restaurant kind of guy. I will make the occasional exception however, and Waffle House - affectionately known as the House of Waffles in my own brain - is one such exception. Why? Because when I'm on the road - and there are no Waffle Houses in the Chicago area - Waffle House just hits the spot. They always have good, attentive service, fresh, hot coffee with real cream and an array of flavorful items on their menu. My older daughter flew in from college to hang with me on my weeklong business trip in Orlando and it was fun to go to this Waffle House with her. While we were waiting 10 minutes for a table, the waitress told us that in the past month they had served Vanilla Ice, Queen Latifah, Daunte Culpepper and the Backstreet Boys at this particular location. And if it's good enough for Queen Latifah and Vanilla Ice, then it's good enough for Jimmy! And it was good. I went with the All Star breakfast which includes a waffle, sausage, eggs and a hash browns. In my hash browns - which were super crispy - were jalapeños, mushroom caps, onions, cheese and topped with sausage gravy. I know, it's enough to make your sleepy just thinking about it. But man those jalapeños popped and it was all good. They, along of course with the waffle and sausage, were the star of the show. I envy people in the South. They had Waffle Houses all over the place. So next time you pass a Waffle House, stop on in. You never know what celebrity may be getting their waffle on.

Waffles dont tase like waffles! Its just not a waffle house! The cleanness of the restaurant is not that great and the waffles tastes like oil and has an egg taste to it! I wouldn't ever go back there again to that place even if its the last place on earth and am starving to death! I would rather eat me for breakfast!

This Waffle House was delicious I have dreams about Waffle House and this place makes my dreams come true. Rather than eating at the Magic Kingdom, my family and I decided to eat here we ate like royalty. We had the hash browns with everything and it was heavenly. Not only was the hash browns good but the waiter was wonderful as well. I wish I remembered his name but he was really nice and gave us some great advice on Disney and recommended Mickey's PhilharMagic and it was fantastic. Like I said he was very nice and I would be happy if he was our waiter again. I look forward to the next time I'm at Waffle House.

This location is okay if you want a quick casual breakfast dining. Waffle House prices are always reasonable priced. It's pretty clean when compared to other Waffle House location. The food is always good!

Fast service hot food I haven't been to a Waffle House house in years. And it's still the same type of good American breakfasts. Nothing fancy but good and reasonable prices

Food is decent, service is decent. The place isn't very clean. The presentation is poor, but that's probably not what they are going for. Overall, I'd say just ok

Been awhile since I used yelp, but F*** this establishment . (1)First off, in the waiting area I was rudely, and very curtly asked, "are you with the party of nine?!" This, as I was managing two little kids; unprompted, undirected and practically chastised/ scolded for waiting too long. Lol, I'm in the marketing business, not waiting! I hate waiting: especially waiting for wait service . (2) We are seated on opposite sides of the restaurant. We ordered soda and tea for drinks (unprompted): soda came out and hot water, too but no tea bag (?). So, waitress came back, asked "is ya'll ready?" (This IS the south, so no worries on grammar or correct enunciation . Besides, customer service trumps education, and they lacked both ). (3) One of our party asked, " you gotta tea bag?" To which, her response was a vacant stare, so she asked again but this time, "hey! You gotta tea bag in your pocket?!" Derp . "Oh! oh I forgot the tea!!" She rushes to and fro, with tea in stow this time. Then the slow service begins, the loud dish washing and dish banging... (4) We order some food, I changed the order midway so as to not overlap on the hash browns (undercooked btw), and the change in the order was never recorded. (5) the waffles we're undercooked, too. (6) The food came out, not all-together, but separately, per person. (7) our check arrived and our service stopped ( I actually liked the pork chops and wanted to bring one home , but we were never asked if we wanted a to-go box . The other table (with the two little kids) (8) THE BACON!! Took too long to show up for the kids and (9) the apple juice... Game Over, man. GAME OVER. The eggs were cooked right, sunny side up. Pork chops were good. Literally, everything else was terrible. This is exactly how a business fails; terrible service, mediocre goods.

Bleh... I mean its ok... I wish we had one in Cali so I can actually sit down in the restaurant and enjoy the food because it would probably taste better then how we had it.... I ordered the breakfast sandwhich and it was AMAZING!! I loved every single bite of it... But by the time I got to my waffle it wasn't as crispy or warm so it wasn't as good as I'm sure it could have been!!! But I would go back if I were in town and it was late. I'd choose it over alot of the other places that are open 24hrs for breakfast!

    (3)
  • Kami T.

It's a small place with limited parking. They squeeze people into places that aren't meant for that many people. The service is slow and our waitress seemed like we were bothering her. This place is a one and done for us.

  • Tom M.

Come on, this is a joint! You want good coffee, eggs, bacon, smothered hash browns, toast and a waffle this is the place. Go to McDonald's to seat your party of 9 in one spot. Doesn't take a brainiac to figure out a 30 seat coffee shop is not set up for buses or family reunions. For many, many years I've always been treated respectfully and promptly. You know what the guy from California's problem is? He doesn't know how to treat people like people.

Breakfast was fast considering the amount of people waiting. Its cool to watch them all cook in like almost no space at all. Breakfast wasn't anything special. For it being a waffle house the waffles were just meh.. they were kinda soggy.. there were four of

I went here yesterday, and the yelp reviews definitely helped. This place is great! :) I tried the all star special for $7.95 which included a waffle, 2 eggs, choice of protein (I got bacon), hash browns, and toast. My brother got the cheesesteak, and we split an order of grilled biscuits and sausage gravy. Our server Dereyon was very helpful and friendly, even telling us after we ordered that the gravy came out a little watery and he didn't want to serve it unless it was done right. We appreciated that, and a few minutes later, he brought out a new batch of gravy. Amazing. You wanna know what else was amazing? The waffles. And the cheese steak was delicious too. The only gripe I have was that the hash browns weren't very good. Burnt outside and undercooked on the inside. But the service outshines this enough to keep all 5 stars. All this great food for a decent price. I'm coming back for sure! :)

Almost like a rite of passage when traveling outside of NY this particular branch was packed when we walked in, 30 mn wait. Waffles are the stars here, particular liked the walnut version. Steak and eggs were satisfying. Sweet lemonade taste like diabetes going down but oh so good.

I have to admit, I'm definitely a fan of Waffle House. Sure, the restaurant and the employees look shady. But the food is good and cheap, just the way I like it. I only wish there was a waffle house near where I live in Chicago. During a Disney World vacation, I came here every morning for breakfast before going to the parks. The first day I had the breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon. Delicious! The second day I had the steak with cheesy scrambled eggs, toast and "smothered" hash browns (aka hash browns with onions). Delicious and only $8! Waffle House breakfast is quick, cheap AND they use real eggs which is more than I can say for most other restaurants...Next time you pass one, be sure to stop in for a yummy breakfast.

the only positive thing is the staff.. friendly food ... i didn't like it.. not the waffles, not the hash browns , nothing...

  • Victor L.

There is nothing like the price. It is the cheapest breakfast food ever. It is also the fastest service I have seen. I mean, I think they want you out of there quick. Even at midnight, we felt rushed, but we had plenty of fatty/sugary/carbs. Just what you need after a long day. The service was what you'd expect, and maybe even just a little better. Our server was funny and very nice. I am sure I will see that place again.

  • Marilyn M.

This was everything I expected out of a waffle house. 70's decor and outdated ads on the walls. Fun staff who were very helpful and friendly. I got the pecan waffle after reading other yelp reviews. It was a good choice since the waffle was a little plain and the pecans took it up a notch. The hash browns were the most exciting part. You get to cover them with multiple toppings of your choice and create a very filling meal. I was satisfied with my food and definately left feeling full, if not unhealthy. It was a great experience for the west coast girl at her first waffle house.

I don't really know what to say about this place. It's one of those generic breakfast diners that you see literally everywhere at least in the Orlando area. With that being said I am not competently familiar with the franchise/chain and can only review this particular location. The first thing about his place is the location and setup. It was out of place in that it was somewhat part of the parking lot and almost dropped there without purpose, Then once inside there was no real flow to the seating, or it was that there was too much the bar, banquets and tables crammed all in one, anyway. Then there's the menu which unless it was just me was gah well so wrong! In most breakfast joints menus consist of some house specials, omelettes, types of eggs, usually combination platters, side orders and drinks all fairly organized. However this many was very... "paint splatter" . There was eggs here eggs there it was hard to decipher between a dish and an add on. Plus the there were far too many pictures inappropriately placed. When i did order i simply compiled my own plate of what i wanted ignoring the menu all together, which is how we should always order, ignore the price, and any often factors and order not only sounds best but the item you believe you will most enjoy. Our waitress had no trouble taking orders even with a few questions, and while I;m not sure if all servers do this but she was very friendly and old style, using terms like "sweetie" and " you betcha" . Whether it was her or the kitchen the food came out rather spontaneously. there was no rhyme or reason. However the food itself wasn't bad. This doesn't mean it was anything special either. The bacon while good a decent potion was still too fatty to consume. the "real" hash browns were nothing more than the generic frozen re-hydrated shreds. The toast and eggs were nothing special either, As for the waffles... If you go about calling yourself Waffle House the waffles should be pretty damn good. Not only that I expect several variations and toppings. Unfortunately there really wasn't much as far as choices go, and the waffle was well just another waffle not something that makes you go Oh My God Yes! Ultimately Waffle House is just another middle of the road place.Honestly while I'm not a huge fan of them either if you want breakfast IHOP or Denny's out ranks Waffle House.

I was vacationing in Orlando, and found this little jem. It was so good I came here twice. I sat right in front of the kitchen, made friends with the staff. The staff was very friendly and lively. The breakfast was great! Big portions for a very good price. Only downside was the size of the place, it is pretty small, so come early to avoid waiting.

  • Brooke W.

This is where I come when I'm happy or when I'm sad. Even for no reason at all. But I come here most importantly for the waffles! I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that they are the best waffles on the planet but I will tell you that when I need a great big hug from my friend nostalgia all I need is a warm, buttery, syrup coated bite of those freshly made waffles. That with eggs, bacon, hash-browns, and a hot cup-o-joe can almost make you feel like you're being hugged to Mother's bosom after you've scraped your knee. That and it's probably one of the only Waffle House's that I don't feel like I'm going to be mugged or get sick in. Very clean as far as rusty spoons go. :)

Don't come here looking for a fancy place. It's just good 'ol breakfast food.

After a long night of having fun, there really isn't much better than a good old fashioned southern breakfast at 3am. It's also an excellent time to come because you never have to wait for a table. The staff here has always been friendly and the food is good. My over medium eggs are always cooked perfectly and I don't hesitate to use my toast to sop up all the yolk! There's not really anything else I can say about the waffles which hasn't already been said; although, I do suffer the same dilemma as others: which one to order? Choices, choices! Being born and raised in the deep south I love the fact I can always order up the grits! I just ignore my husband's odd looks every time I pour sugar into them. Try it... it's goooood!!! :)

We walked out. Noisy and felt more like a dirty dinner than a family restaurant. Maybe that is what these waffle houses are but not appetizing enough for us to stay. We left and went to the Perkins nearby instead.

There are so many places I prefer before WH at breakfast. Fake maple syrup and margarine to the waffles is one of the reasons I won't go back. Not accepting AMEX is another.

I thought Denny's was bad.... Small, loud, disorganized, mediocre over priced food - not a good combination.

  • Matthew M.

Waffle house huh? The waffle was so thin and sad looking, it closely resembled cheese cloth with a tic-tac-toe design. My ribeye steak dinner was pretty good but that's after our waitress messed it up a few times. I wasn't going to say her name but after each letter I type I'm getting more and more "bothered" (and this is after 3 days to think about it - or forget about it). Theresa sucks!!! She forgot EVERYTHING! knives, forks, napkins, food, kind of food, the way food should be prepared. While me and my buddy almost ate our entire salad with our fingers we ask, "hey, could we get some place settings?" she just says, "yeah". that's it. 2 out of 4 of our meals went back, while both came back to us still wrong. forget about it... then to continue the comedy, I go up to pay for our bill and the lady looks up at me all frustrated and says you don't have exact change as I stand in disbelief with 2 twenty dollar bills in hand. yeah lady i carry $38.74 on me just in case an establishment doesn't have correct change! if you're a coke machine okay...diner...wow. avoid...

What more can you ask for in this place? It's just like IHOP with a differently-sized bill(that of a cheaper register receipt). The first and only time I walked into this location, I came out thinking "Maybe this place does have some credibility" and a place on the map. Without knowing much about this place and how things run originally, after noticing my order was prepared OK-I was kind of confused when I noticed "grits" on my plate-. Now, I'm not one for being stickly, but I didn't have a cell phone at the time, to research what they were and what they tasted like, but, no matter where I looked in the restaurant, they existed on everyone's plates(and this was a breakfast serving). Overall, the waiter didn't mind trying to explain things, but I didn't know that everything they had was served with grits. If they had explained that minor point, my review rating would have been a little higher. Food was not quite first class, but it was prepared with fresh-tasting ingredients. The food didn't look sagging, but you can tell things were happening behind the scenes I didn't notice-and I didn't understand from a first-time visit here.

Dependable as a breakfast spot. If you have been to a Waffle House, you know what to expect. It is a grilled/buttery breakfast. Had the waffle one day and an omelette the next time. The omelette was fluffy - they use a milk shake mixer for the eggs. This branch looks like it can be busy but the two times we went were at 7 AM. No line, nice service. How can you go wrong?

    (3)
  • Aj D.

We had the pecan waffle, eggs, bacon, and grits. It was definitely feel-good food. The pecan waffles were nice and tasty and they can cook it well-done if you want it a bit crunchier. The bacon was crispy and tasty, not super salty. Grits were nice too; I added a dash or two of salt and pepper and it tasted great. The orange juice seems fresh and sweet. I'm not sure if it had added sugar, but it was delicious! Unfortunately, I didn't like that they didn't use real butter. They only have margarine. Margarine is not good for you! I also asked if they had the real stuff, but they don't carry it. Then again, Waffles and syrup aren't good for you either, but at least we can try to make it less destructive on your heart. Healthiness aside, I really enjoyed the food! We went twice in a week!

A shoe-box sized restaurant, filled to the brim with fat & happy customers. Get there early or late. On our first visit, we made the mistake of showing up around 10 a.m. The quote for a table was 20 minutes. I heard two wives ask their husbands, "Do you want to just go to IHOP?" Both husbands violently shook their heads no. They waited. Just like we did. Get em' smothered and covered baby. Hash browns, that is. Sooo good. I will reserve a star for the lackluster sausage. On our next visit, it was almost 2 a.m. We instantly seated ourselves right up at the counter. I got to watch the cook make everything. After a brief chat with the waiter regarding night shifts, etc. He "accidently" made an extra waffle. No one else makes waffles like the waffle house. What I wouldn't give to have that waffle...right now...

I never thought I'd find myself reviewing a Waffle House, but I dine here late night frequently so here goes. This Waffle House is located by the Crossroads near Downtown Disney. I can't speak to the food other than the breakfast fare because any hour of the day or night I visit a Waffle House, I get breakfast. I tried to think back to an occasion in my 200 plus visits to different Waffle Houses and I can't come up any time I have gotten anything but breakfast. The staff at this location is very friendly and has a "can do" attitude that you don't always see. On my last visit the District Manager was present cooking behind the counter and he seemed very proud of the staff. My food is always cooked perfect. The service is always great and the bathrooms are always clean. What more could you ask for at 2 in the morning?

2 eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns and biscuits n gravy all for $6. Yup, say no more - I'm home. Fresh juice, fresh smiles, fast service and all made right in front of you the way it should be. Why oh why don't we have one of these in San Diego?

Would I come here if I weren't married to Steve? Probably not. I don't know, maybe. Now that he has acquainted me with their waffles...Ok, yeah, I probably would come here and get and egg sandwich, a waffle (not pecan) and wash it down with my breakfast diet coke. But then, if I weren't with Steve, I'd just be crying and putting really sad songs on the country jukebox and bringing down everyone around me at the counter as I told my sad tale of why we weren't together and how we'd always come to Waffle House.....

Very poor service, not clean at all, my phone literally was stuck to the table yuk. My wife's steak and eggs did not set too well in her stomach. Not a pleasant experience

Don't hate the House! You get what you pay for and don't expect more. The staff are great with you if you are great to them. I wouldn't have it any other way. Lets not joke, it is not healthy by any means, but it is DAMN good! If this is a quick slice of heaven, then let me in and give me a table... cause I am ordering waffles today! just make sure to let me know when you make it to California....

After a long TIRING red eye to Florida, a few friends and I decided to stop by here since it was close our hotel. Good thing we were all craving breakfast food, because this was some great waffles! The service was really nice and the atmosphere was cute. It felt like a old diner and we had some great service. The food was yummy and quick! Good place to start a long day! :)

Being from the west coast you don't see Waffle House's but 11 days in Florida and you'll see them every where. Simple menu but good food cooked fast with great service. Need I say more. Good job Waffle House.

Foodwise, there's nothing spectacular here. Their exceptional service is what earned these stars. They have a lot on their menu, so it may take a little bit of time to figure out what you want. Unless of course, you already know what you want before you even walk in. Here's what Biff and I ordered: Ribeye steak & Eggs: Ordered medium well. Received medium well, but lacking flavor. Ordered eggs over easy. The eggs could have been cooked a little more. "All the way" Hashbrowns: I should have ordered them without the chili. It tasted gross. Our waitress asked how it was and she saw the look on my face and she took it off our bill. Waffle: Waffles were on point. Sweet, soft with a slight hint of cinammon. Cheesesteak Omelette: It doesn't really taste like cheesesteak. Biscuits & Gravy: A little on the salty side, but what gravy isn't on the salty side? I definitely won't return to another WH unless I'm craving waffles. And if I do return, I'm definitely not going to order the "all the way" hasbrowns!

I love waffle house for what it means to me I used to meet my wife at a waffle house in maryland before we were married bc it was in between where we lived. i always get the same thing. Pecan waffles, extra well done. chili covered hash browns (extra well done) the women who work there can vary from really wenchy to really sweet and southern. It really depends on how much they have been overworked in the past 24 hours and the last time they had a smoke break. But it is what it is. this one gets crowded in the AM when other tourists are waking up and getting ready to go out and let walt disney suck more money out of their wallets. now if one of these places had a fried chicken joint nearby, i could get chicken and waffles...

Still at the top of my list for one of the best chains ever. This one is no exception, as I have gone morning, noon, and night and it is always packed. Staff is friendly and fast.

Jenn N...you beat me to the review! It was a good review though. :-) This was my first Waffle House visit ever. I'd heard it was good. Now I know. We went twice in one trip! Place is tiny. Mornings are a cozy wait with starving masses. Why is this place so tiny? Why? Parking is not great either. Waffles are strangely better than I think they should be. Like they have a big bag of "taste crazy good powder" in the bad and just toss large amounts in the batter! They don't look special, but they are. I'm picky with waffles, and these taste great and are done to perfection. As for the rest of breakfast, hashbrowns are a little unique. You'll just have to try them yourself. They will smother them, and that's good. The eggs are average. The bacon is good. The sausage is terrible. Coffee is fairly good. We went at midnight one night, and I tried a basic chicken sandwich. You know, that was really good! The seasoning is what makes it so good. AND it's real chicken. Please bring WH to the East Bay!

My favorite WH.. Every time I come to Orlando I stop here (: the staff is incredibly welcoming and the service is surprisingly quick even on days when they are packed and believe me this place fills up!

I am so disappointed in this Waffle House. Our waffles were thinner than an Eggo and all came out barely cooked. Bacon was also barely cooked, still very pink and chewy. They did take the food back to cook it more for those that requested but the servers gave us a bit of an attitude about that. I would normally say you get what you pay for, but one waffle was $3 and adding three slices of bacon was another $2.50. The only thing they were generous with was the coffee. My family members that got eggs seemed satisfied with their meals, so I guess you should go with that menu choice.

I think it's over priced and waffles are nothing to brag about. Surprised the restaurant was empty on a Friday night. IHOP is better.

Tasty, cheap food. I will ALWAYS pick Waffle House over other similar chains like Dennys.

This was only my second dining experience at Waffle House. My first time was in Atlanta, where you see Waffle House signs every where. The waffles I had at an Atlanta Waffle House was okay but at this location, my waffles were soggy as if they were frozen and just got microwaved. My sunny side up eggs, one yolk was broken and spread out. This is a typical "you get what you pay for" kind of place. No me gusta!

I have wanted to visit a Waffle House ever since it was mentioned in a Bloodhound Gang Song! "The Bad Touch" . This Place was Packed! I ordered a lot of food because I wanted to try everything! So 3 stars from me, its Just OK. I was disappointed in the waffles. Maybe I expected too much! I have had frozen waffles out of the toaster that have been way better than what I had here! they were soggy and just plain blah! the kids only ate a few bites! I also ordered some eggs, and hash browns. The Eggs were OK, typical diner eggs, cant really screw those up too bad can ya? And there was nothing special about the hash browns in my opinion. I think they could have been better if they were cooked a little more, maybe a little crispy? But the service was good considering how busy they were. The crowd in there was a little rough looking aside from another family next to us. reminds me more of a truck stop type eatery! I am now no longer curious of this place, and do not think I will be ever eating here again. We often chuckled as we passed a waffle house around town while driving if we wanted to stop there! I don't think so!

Man I ate like a pig, love Waffle House wish they were closer to the house but I'd be fat as hell if they were. The service we fast and efficient. My eggs and waffle was made to perfection. I needed a nap after this meal lmao

Solid 3 star. Not the best Waffle House and not the worst. GOOD: Despite looking quite busy, they seated us very quickly. Hash browns were crisp. Waitress was efficient, friendly by Waffle House standards and delivered what we ordered. MEDIOCRE: The food. Waffles were soft (I prefer crispy). Scrambled eggs weren't fully scrambled. I ordered the hash browns "all the way" for the novelty and they were essentially inedible, but that's on me. The lady next to me ordered hashbrowns plain and they looked delicious.

This place was packed with people lined up outside. The staff here handled it well and efficiently moved people in and out. Food was great, service was quick and everyone was friendly. Great experience. I'm a big Waffle House fan and this spot was one of the best I have been to.

Typical breakfast center! Waffles, potato mash and toast are the ones that are catchy! Not much to say about it. I was satisfied with the service and if you are a fan of a grand ambience and rich breakfast varieties, this is not the place you would be going for sure. Good breakfast though!
