I've only tried vanilla and chocolate soft serve here so far and wow! They are some of the creamiest soft serve around. It's almost reminiscent of frozen custard it's so creamy. It's probably the best soft serve I've ever had. It puts DQ to shame.

Soft serve icecream with tons of flavors. Pretty good but the wait time is sometimes really really long.

So I read through these reviews. What is with the soft serve snobs? This place is great. Yeah, their drive thru is small.. So what? Park your car, get out, and walk up to the window and order. Its an ice cream stand not a burger king. God forbid you burn a few calories before inhaling your icy treat. Okay, now that I got that off of my chest, this place is great. A wide variety of soft serve flavors that you can have served up in a wide variety of ways. Seriously, park your car and get out and order. There are a couple of picnic tables to sit down at. Another nice find out in east orange.

My most fave ice cream

You can't miss Twistee Treat's iconic building of a giant ice cream cone. They have like 24 different flavors of soft serve ice cream. I ended up getting cheesecake ice cream with cherry dip. Mmmm.. I have to say it was pretty tasty. The only thing in the Florida heat, it melts in 30 seconds and was dripping all over my hand. Make sure you get a ton of napkins from them. If you sit at one of the tables, cover the table with napkins to catch your drippings and to save your arm from previous nasty stickiness. It was obvious that they don't clean the table very often or at all. You could visibly see chocolate ice cream that was caked on. The service was fairly quick. They do accept credit cards now thankfully. And I'm not sure what kind of uniforms those were that they girls were wearing in there? The shorts looked like they should have been on the Dukes of Hazzard if you know what I mean. A little more professional attire would have been nice. Overall, with the last part aside, I would return to this Twistee Treat. The ice cream was delish.

Soft serve ice cream with an emphasis on CREAM. I'll admit that I'm not some sort of frozen dairy connoisseur, but I think the fat content in their product is much higher than what's in your normal soft serve cone (McDonald's, for example). It melts much faster than your average soft serve, too, probably due to higher fat. Absolutely decadent. I'll be back very soon.

The big ice cream ice shaped land marks that are found in various areas throughout central Florida are worth visiting if you enjoy soft serve. The Twistee Treat on Colonial, just before Bithlow is one my favorite places to get soft serve not only because the flavor and texture are just right, but also because their variety of soft serve flavors is bigger than I've ever seen and their menu has lots of different indulgences to choose from. The prices are very affordable, but this one in particular one DOES NOT take credit cards...cash only. Twistee treat's treats are perfect for the wicked HOT Florida weather, especially in the summer!

I really wanted to like their ice cream, set up and everything they kind of represent. I grew up getting ice cream from such small places like this. Its a shame to me that quality isn't put into their product. Saturday night my son and i were on our way to an event, it was canceled due to the storm so I said "lets get some ice cream from Twistee Treat". Jr agreed. Squeeze my mid sized car through the tight turn of the drive through so I don't bang up my rims. Seriously, could you have made the obstacle more of an obstacle??? Get to the window and order 1 small cup of butter pecan dipped and 1 small cup of vanilla with m&m's. the butter pecan dipped was for me. Well, the ice cream was NOT butter pecan, i dont know what it was, but it wasn't butter pecan. a pool of foul tasting chocolate surrounded my ice cream and form a concrete like structure to prevent my getting ice cream from the sides. my son said his vanilla was ok, but he said they put too many m&ms in the cup. ok, a kid complained about the number of m&m's. thats a red flag. sorry, i really want to give you another chance, but after serving that junk, im not sure I can. we'll see

Awesome place. Can't complain not expensive.

Usually the ice cream is great but the service is s-l-o-w-w-w-w. They hired some new people and the cones and shakes came out lickety split with the nicest smile. I went out on a limb and got peanut butter frozen yogurt and, even though it was a teensy bit grainy, the flavor has won me over. I'll never get ice cream again. My companion's milkshake (chocolate and coffee) received very high marks, as well. Instead of napkins, may I recommend getting a cup, even if you get a cone, it's the easiest way to eat, rather than wear, your frozen dessert in Central Florida!

Twistee Treat is that giant ice cream cone of goodness you have surely seen on east Colonial drive in the Publix shopping plaza near Chuluota. It has great sweet treats at a nice price and the best part is their drive-thru menu. The menu at Twistee Treat is pretty expansive, with a variety of soft serve options and toppings. For some odd reason, Twistee Treat is cash only, so make sure you hit up the ATM before driving through. There are little seating areas, so I would suggest planning on going through the drive-thru.

The list of flavors here for the ice cream is awesome. I ordered a peanut butter ice cream cone, the service was pretty quick and was excited when they handed it to me. The dessert was delicious, creamy, and very peanut-buttery, just the way I like it!

I LOVE Twistee Treat!! I have been going there for years, and its always been great. They have delicious soft-serve ice-cream and a ton of flavors! I love their chocolate malts, and dipped cones! Yum! They didn't get 5 stars because its cash only and they don't have in-door seating. Nothing to do with their products, that gets 5 starts!

served slushee that tasted like chemicals and wouldn't make a new one unless I paid for a new one and wouldn't refund my money for the one they tried serving me in the first place. Poor business choices and poor customer service.

Terrible service!!!! Will NEVER go to this location again! Every time I come here, the girls that work here Are so miserable to be doing their job. Last night, I go there with my daughter and my two little sisters. It was 8pm, store hours say they're open til 10. As They are serving the people in front of us, we look over the menu for a good 5 min, they saw us looking over the menu and as we go up to the counter to order they say they are "closed" !!!!! & had the nastiest attitude with it. For one, you aren't suppose to "close" for a few more hours, misleading. And for 2, why the heck would you watch the four of us look over the menu and not say hey, we're closing?!?! Very disappointing.

Same soft serv ice cream you'll find at McDonalds or Dairy Queen at slightly higher prices. There are some options like dipped that you don't get elsewhere. Service is friendly. If you crave soft serv, and this is the closest place, go for it.

We love Twistee Treat!! My husband and I always get the peanut butter ice cream in a waffle cone dipped in chocolate. It's the best. The sizes are huge! I usually get a kiddie size and it's plenty of ice cream. A small is a ton of ice cream. It's always amusing to see kids there with ice cream cones bigger than their heads. They also serve a special dog friendly frozen yogurt in a cup. Our pup loves it. We feel that the prices for everything are pretty reasonable. They have a ton of flavors and toppings. You can also ask for sugar free or fat free ice cream. They offer this for all of their flavors for a little bit extra money. I've done that before and couldn't taste the difference! Sometimes it takes a while to actually get the ice cream. The line moves fairly slow, and they also have a drive-thru which adds more people. Once you get your order in, that can also take a little bit of time. Not a huge problem, but it's not the fastest ice cream place ever. Overall, we love this place and always stop by when we're in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our milk shakes before heading east to Palm Beach County! TT is always our last stop when we leave the Orlando area. The drive thru line was 3 or 4 cars deep. No one was at the window so my sons and I jumped out of our car and ordered quickly as this place gets crowded in a hurry. Our stealth was rewarded as we received our shakes with little waiting. See you next time we're in the Orlando area.

So I was craving an Oreo shake and saw Twistee Treat nearby. I'd never been to a TT before do I thought I'd give it a try. The shake had the consistency of milk! We took it back through the drive thru and asked the employee for a new one. She said "so you want a thick shake?" What other kind of shake is there? Anyway the second was more like it. I'll just avoid getting shakes here.

When your throat hurts and you have no ice cream in the house, what do you do? You hop in the car and drive to twistee treat! I love all of the flavor end topping combos. The menu could stand to be a little larger (actual size- it's barley legible from the car) but that's the only "complaint" I have. Go treat yourself, with or without a sore throat!
(5)Kirsten H.
Excellent soft serve ice cream. Cheap prices. Tons of flavors. Their "dips" are really deliciously chemically flavored. The kiddie cup is probably enough for most adults unless you want a meal of ice cream. Skip the Baskin Robbins and go here.
(4)Robin Haley B.
Very creamy and delicious soft serve ice cream that is very reasonably priced. The portions are huge--I can't even finish a small. I recommend trying the Cookiewich!
(5)Karen B.
Always makes me happy to see the giant ice cream cone. This one was quick with service and I got the perfect little chocolate soft serve ice cream cone with colorful sprinkles. Felt like a little kid all over again. Who wouldn't be happy with ice cream? Simply put. Service was good and it's the same product no matter what Twistee Treat I go to. Yum.
