Great flavors, the ice cream taste fresh. They have various choices for cones: sugar, cake, choclate dip cones and the swirls are a classic. Also, they have hot dogs, pretzels and natural. This place is always packed and is a family friendly, old school ice cream place.

Quick, cheap and delicious ice cream ! What more can you ask for? I usually just get the kiddie cone with vanilla ice cream. It's the perfect size but if you really have a sweet tooth then this place has the variety and size that'll satisfy any cravings. They're open until 10:30 on weekdays and 11 on weekends!

I wish I knew about this the first night. I would have skipped dessert in the restaurant and driven here. Twist something or other.. a mixture of M&M's (our choice) along with vanilla soft serve just wasn't mixed enough for us. The M and M's I thought would have been a little grounded up in the twist but it was whole and not comfortable chomping on hard M's and enjoying the ice cream. The Sundae's were awesome. Hot Chocolate for one and Butterscotch for the other. Amazing. The marshmallow shake? DEAR LORD! awesome. Line did get long but they opened another register to deal with it. Nice people, busy place and interesting food trucks around (and a food bus).

Ok, let me start by saying that I came to this place because of the great yelp reviews that I read here, and I was not disappointed at ALL!!! This family owned business (I would think) has a great variety of ice cream flavors and it's perfect for any occasion! Prices are not bad, service was good, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Recommend it 100%!! Guys if you are in the area come to this place! And it closes at 10:30 on Sunday which was awesome for a late night treat.

As an Orlando native there is a certain amount of nostalgia connected to warm spring nights and sweltering summer days spent at Twistee Treat. I don't remember not going here. I am not sure when this location opened, but it's been since the 90s. A lot of businesses in this area change a lot, but Twistee is still there. And for good reason. The ice cream is rich and creamy, the selection is classic, and the prices are beyond reasonable. The staff is almost always quick. In close to 20 years they only messed up my order once. Twistee gets crowded in the evenings, especially during the weekends anytime it's warm. Which is really saying most of the year because this is, after all, Florida. It's a great little place worth visiting, and if you really like it, you can travel and find other locations to see the different cones. This one is vanilla/chocolate swirl, but other locations are different.

Visiting Orlando for a night after a cruise, we were in the mood for an after dinner treat and we stumbled across this place. Easy to find because the small building is in the shape of a soft serve cone and in a shopping center parking lot. But, at night the colors can make it blend into the background so keep your eyes peeled or you'll pass it. Extensive menu of all popular ice cream based desserts. I had the strawberry shortcake parfait which was very good . More of a jam based topping but did have chunks of strawberry. I prefer a more watery type of fruit topping but it was still very tasty. The shortcake was more cake-like which I enjoyed but those who like the biscuit type of shortcake beware beforehand. Not a big deal in my opinion. I don't know much about the neighborhood but it seemed so so overall so I wouldn't be concerned about safety issues . Definitely worth a visit!

I visited this location twice while in Orlando and both times were a great experience. The line was long but moved very quickly. I had a brownie sundae the first visit and an ice cream sandwich the second. Will definitely visit again! Melts fast, enjoy quickly!

My husband and I stopped by here one night to give their soft serve a try. It was pretty decent, however growing up with two of the best soft serve places around in Ohio has pretty much set the standards to unreachable levels by other establishments. I had a vanilla sundae with caramel, chocolate, walnuts and whipped topping. My husband had a butterfinger milkshake. If you're in the mood for soft serve give them a try. The girls working the counter were nice and friendly. The line can get pretty long!

TWISTEE TREAT, I'M BEGGING YOU PLEASE COME TO NEW YORK CITY! Rich and creamy ice cream, who doesn't love that? Cheap prices, who doesn't love that also? Cake cones, waffle cones, sugar cones, sundae boats, shakes, twirls, and anything ice cream creation you can imagine. Twistee Treat is an ice cream tabernacle and I'd go religiously if it was closer. I would hands down replace Mr.Softee with Twistie Treat if it was in NYC. Yes, you better believe I just went there :-0 that's all I have to say!

This is my go-to ice cream spot! They are usually open late (until 11pm!) and have both sugar and waffle cones (dipped or not dipped). They are always friendly and get your ice cream to you fast. Who doesn't like soft serve!? All you pretentious frozen yogurt lovers need come back to the dark side! Preferably on a Sunday afternoon after you are done repenting!

This place rocks!! We ride our bike like crazy just to end up here panting and ruining all that work!! The girls who work there are ALWAYS smiling and nice..especially to kids which gives them super extra brownie points.It is more of an experience with everyone waiting for their frosty treat like a kid.I mean how can one go wrong with extra hot fudge on anything??

We were very pleased with the ice cream here and the small prices made it taste even better. The neighborhood is a bit questionable, but nothing horrible.

This is very good for ice cream. They are a chain in a building shaped like an ice cream cone. The prices are very resonable and filled with toppings. I like the Peanut Butter Cup Twirl, same as DQ Blizzard, but filled with more toppings. Very good.
