Visited this location for the first time recently and was very happy. How could you not be when you're visiting a giant ice cream cone building?? I did notice they have a drive thru which can be very convenient if you have fussy kids orrrr if you have a craving while still in your pajamas and don't feel like changing....why should you have to change if you don't have to? :) I find that I stick to my usual vanilla/chocolate swirl with a butterscotch dip on a waffle cone. It's so heavenly. I haven't seen any place in the area that offers butterscotch dip so that's a bonus! My husband went with his usual butterscotch milkshake. My friend and fellow Yelper, Pam. H., came with us and it was her first time ever! She got the coconut ice cream dipped in chocolate. I think she enjoyed it very much! I did notice they offered a lactose free pineapple ice cream. Great option so that no one is left out! The employees were so friendly and pleasant. I've never had a bad experience and it's obvious they love what they're doing. This location has a good amount of outdoor tables with umbrellas. And those suckers are sturdy. A heavy rainstorm hit and the umbrellas protected us for the most part but once the rain started really coming down like a monsoon we felt it from the sides and had to head out. But that's part of living in Florida. I will definitely keep this location in mind when on this side of town!

My Roomate and I went on a late night ice cream run, this place is fantastic. We both got a swirl with cookie dough and Oreos. They also gave her dog an ice cream treat! Check it out, well worth it.

what's not to like? You walk up or drive up, order your soft serve ice cream, sit at the tables made of recycled milk cartons, and go on your merry way. No, it's not gourmet ice cream, but it's good.

Twistee Treat gets me into trouble in the worst (BEST) possible way. A soft serve cone is a little over $2 with tax. You can get strawberry-vanilla swirl. And it is seriously the best tasting soft serve I've ever had. You can taste the cream - not just frozen sugar. They have lots of other goodies, including sugar free yogurt and hotdogs. It always looks busy for a reason!

I was referred here by our rowmate on the plane and he made a great recommendation! It was raining in Orlando the day I visited so I took advantage of the drive thru and got my tasty treat while sitting in the comfort of the car. I got the German Chocolate Cake which didn't really taste like the actual dessert but was good anyway. Texture was on point. I didn't get much time to peruse the menu but they had a lot of topping options and dips.

I talked to a couple of my friends about ice cream places and some of them told me about twistee treat. So since I love ice cream I decided I would give it a try. They were right. The ice cream there is just so good that I definitely can not eat ice cream anywhere else without thinking about theirs. The first time I just had a chocolate ice cream in a cup. It got me hooked. The second time I went I had the premium flavors which were equally as yummy and creamy. So if you live near a twistee treat go try their ice cream it is awesome.

Always a treat to have yogurt during my break. These are some good flavors and delicious ice cream.

Fast service amazing ice cream! 3 stars due to no brownies or hot fudge in a brownie sunday ..... -_-

Hit or miss! I really wish they'd get a size chart so there can be a visible difference between the small, medium, and large sizes. It's very inconsistent when every employee serves the icecream according to what they think is a large or small. More times than not, I've ordered a large soft serve in a cup and have received about a small-medium size. Like most people, I want what I paid for.

How can you not love soft serve. I love the brownie bite sundae, the regular sundaes are huge too. Everything is good, and you get a large portion for the money. Love Twistee Treat!

My first time here and I am very impressed. The peanut butter ice cream was spot on. I could even see the flecks of peanut in it. I'm having a hard time writing this review bc of the sugar coma I am in. One thing for sure is that I will be returning.

Twistee Treat is my summer go-to. There is NOTHING like a waffle cone with vanilla/strawberry swirl soft-serve, topped with rainbow sprinkles. Brings me back to being a kid. I've also had their Root Beer floats and sundaes. All delicious, all cheap, all wonderful! A summer staple in my book!

The best soft serve in town, hands down. There are multiple locations around the central Florida area that are all equally as good. This is the location closest to my wife and I, so we go here most often. Between the flavors, toppings, and varieties offered, you really can't beat this place for the quality and the price. The only downside to Twistee Treat (which is a good thing for them), is that they are so popular, you often have to wait a while to get your ice cream. But trust me, the wait is totally worth it!

about $3 for a medium waffle cone. I got the strawberry and vanilla and the chocolate vanilla. I prefer the strawberry. In a 90 degree weather, it was difficult to savor it when the ice cream was melting so fast. It was good, nothing unique about the ice cream, just a good decent taste. It's no hagen diaz.

2 stars for having a bunch of unsupervised teenagers running the store. This is my 4th time coming within a month and all 4 times my order wasn't correct. The kid literally threw 4 cones away before finally getting my medium sugar free waffle cone correct. I hope the owner sees this review and looks at his food cost. I'd rather go to checkers next door.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Every time I'm visiting Orlando, this place is a must. There are tons of options to choose from, but (i'll try to say this without drooling) I always stick to my choc/vanilla twist dipped in chocolate served in a nice crunchy waffle cone. Being from Jersey, there the only ones who know how to dip a cone right. I just wish we had a Twistee's up north here. But to sum it up, its a great way to end a hot day..super nice employees and well worth your money!

Cute little joint to grab some ice cream...loved that it's shaped like an ice cream cone. The woman that took our order off an iPad in the drive through was really nice and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately the girl at the window was not so friendly. She seemed really "just over her job" and not friendly at all. She started saying our order and then just said "well you get it." They also got super confused on order (not sure why). Our ice creams tasted great and I loved all of the different options. Overall I recommend checking this place out!

Best cool treat for a hot Florida summer! So creamy, sweet and delicious, and the various flavors are amazing! My husband and I love running through the drive thru on occasion to grab some cones with their regular soft serve, and their chocolate dip is awesome! Very cheap as well!

Always an excellent place for some soft serve and you cannot beat the price. I recommend having them put some of your dip into the cone so you've got it at the beginning and the end of the ice cream. One warning, grab extra napkins, the ice cream starts to melt out of the cone very quickly.

I Like how there's a flavor dispenser for shaved ice. first time i tried a twistee treat, i got the strawberry shortcake ice cream sundae... oh...em...geee... super duper good. 2nd time, we got a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. i would rate this place higher if the ice cream wouldn't be too dawg gon' expensive. but definitely a place to spoil your tummy full of treats... i guess that's why you call it twisty TREATS.

Fresh and flavorful smooth ice cream and friendly staff. It was way better than I had expected and I have been back several times since my first visit.

Best ice cream in Orlando! We went to the other ice cream place down the street, but Twistee Treats ice cream tastes so much better! Great seating area outside and quick service...weekends are busier, but worth the wait! Thanks!

I really do like their ice cream and try to come here when ever I can to try something new. This location is always really busy but the long is not too long. They even have a drive thru.

This location has the drive thru and one of the newest locations. I ordered the banana split a few months back and yesterday after grocery shopping I was craving for a cone after a warm day this weekend! I ordered the Large Waffle cone with Vanilla swirl and for $2.81 it was WORTH IT! It was packed with their delicious custard soft serve ice cream and was worth every lick and bite!! I would def order again and the server was wearing a "Hello Kitty" eye glasses which was a plus!! I would def go back again and order the Large Waffle Cone AGAIN!

Twistee Treat makes you feel like a little kid. We all have our inner fat kid desires for some soft serve ice cream with sprinkles that's going to melt faster than you can eat it. This is my place to feed the hunger.

Excellent soft serve ice cream. Very thick and creamy. About the best I've had. Wish there was one of these in our area!

First time to a Twistee Treat since I was diagnosed with diabetes2. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw "sugar free" ice cream on the menu. I tried it. I enjoyed it. I will be back.

Love this place. The ice cream selection is pretty large. You get the choice of toppings, flavors, cones, cups, fat free, sugar free. They also sell Nathan's Slider Dogs, which I hope to try soon. Great place to take the kids on a hot summer night.

WHAT!??! Hands down the most addictively delicious soft serve I've EVER tasted!!! Just plan DELICIOUS! Sometimes no more words are needed...I swear they must put crack in this stuff...not that I've ever tried crack, but you get my point! Refreshing, creamy, delectable...the ultimate cheat day treat! Try the Strawberry/Vanilla swirl....YUMMY!!!

My husband and daughter love this place. According to them they have really great ice cream. My husband has become quite obsessed with their root beer float. Unfortunately, almost all ice cream places exclusively serve cow's milk based frozen treats. I really hope that Twistee Treat will rise above and offer something for us vegans. I may ask to see if we can petition to have a Tofutti ice cream cone available or something. It would be really nice to enjoy ice cream with my family.
