Ice cream was amazing, serving sizes were quite big so ask before you order.. But the guy behind the counter was great with helping customers decide what they wanted or understanding what some things were if they weren't from this country etc. That was awesome of him, others would have gotten annoyed n not helped. I would highly recommend if you're craving ice cream, shakes etc. It's a bit tiny inside but they have outside seating n a drive thru also.

Whenever I am in the area and the kids are screaming for ice cream this is the place to go. The Twistee Treat locations around Orlando are operated by different owners, and I suppose this explains the dramatic differences between them. Sure, they look different (this one is not shaped like an ice cream cone, but a regular building), but the ice cream is consistently good. This Twistee Treat at Lake Buena Vista has great service. It is also nice because it has indoor seating (so your ice cream won't melt so fast). There are several tables outside, but shade to sit in is scarce in the afternoon. Prices here are good. And of course, the soft serve ice cream is yummy. I personally always get a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. My mom says the sugar free ice cream is very good as well (I'll take her word on that, I like full-sugar food). My son loves chocolate malts, and he says this is the best one yet, and that they make it extra malty. According to the folks at this shop they have the same management as the Ocoee Twistee Treat, so suppose I will have to try that one when I am in the area. =)

Best. soft serve.ever. They provide generous portions. Prices are on point! I had the almond Joy sundae, it was just fantastic. My family also ordered the brownie sundae and a birthday cake twirl. We all loved it. Fantastic place to cool down on a hot Florida day.

My husband and I are visiting in Orlando and noticed the good reviews for this ice cream shop so we just had to try it. I am glad we did. I got a twister and he got a sundae. It was only $8 total and oh so good. We would recommend this place to everyone.

We were in downtown Disney and was really in the mood for some old fashion ice cream cone with sprinkles, and not too expensive. Well here you go we found it! this place is 5 mins from downtown disney and price is very reasonable. they have lots of flavor a a cones, different sizes, if your like me and don't like to much ice cream but love the cake cone( that's what they call it) they have a child size cone. Just perfect!!! I had the piña colada, oh man that was awesome never had that flavor before on a soft serve. This is a must visit!!

If you are in Florida and looking for some good custard you gotta stop at this cute shop!!!! The custard was so good here and the service was very friendly. They have so many custard options and you can mix various flavors. Not much else to say but GO GO GO!

So this is off the path if you are a tourist like me... But I gotta love yelp. Never lets us down. First off the prices here are great. Sizes are huge. After being fleeced at Disney... (Its less than 5 min from the Disney resort, on your way out.. Out of the way, but worth it) We were easy to impress but really. They have the yummiest selection, a blizzard-esque concoction.. Sundaes.. Dipped ice cream, you name it. Frappacino-ish drinks... But the kicker: Fat free low calorie custard? What?! Have I died and gone to low calorie heaven? Why no, But it is certainly a wish come true. The custard is thick and creamy and so so yummy. The service is friendly customer driven and efficient. Clean. If this place were in Denver I would be the duke in a week. We went twice in a row. I'd wed ventured here sooner we would have gone daily. It has it all... Value variety and very yum!

Amazing choices, fast service and wow....pricing from the 1950's. We go here when our kids deserve a nice treat. I'm always amazed at the prices and quality. As a family of 4, we walked out with an ice-cream in each hand for under twenty bones. We recommend this place if youre looking for something good and cold in the LBV area.

Definitely the place to go when in the area and looking for a good place for ice cream. It's reasonable priced with good sized portions. For a family of 4, we spent less than $8. We had either a small cone or cup. They have a great selection of the basic flavors and add ins like candy and sprinkles. The service is excellent. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating.

May have been the best "Blizzard" I've ever had. Coming from Texas, I love my DQ and the Snickers Blizzard. Well, the Snickers Twirl is AMAZING. The ice cream is so thick and smooth; add in the wonderful flavor of Snickers and you have a winning combination. The next time we are here, we will definitely come back!

Found this little place on Yelp. It's a little off of the beaten path, but when we are back in Orlando we will definitely visit again. I had the small vanilla cone (soft serve) with butter pecan flavor burst (twirled on the outside of the ice cream) with chocolate jimmies. Delicious!

Yelp doesn't ever steer me wrong! On a trip to Disney, we spotted this place as it was right down from our hotel. It looked interesting, so of course I checked it out and saw the rave reviews. We went one afternoon and I had, hands down, one of the best sundaes ever. Their soft serve is amazing, and the prices are so reasonable. I asked if I could order both hot fudge and caramel together, and of course the server made it happen with a smile. They have tons of flavors of shakes and malts, and I can only imagine everything on the menu is incredible. I think this is the perfect place in the Lake Buena Vista area for a delicious, inexpensive dessert! What a breath of fresh air after being robbed blind (admittedly willingly) from the theme parks.

The only indoor Twistee Treat I know, it already is awesome. Once I tasted the best Peanut Butter Twirl with Heath, I knew this location was tops. The service by the young man and woman was so efficient, yet accurate I was thrilled with my experience. I will continue to go back for this service and this taste, again and again and again. I'm usually not a fan of ice cream shops, but craving some kind of desert and this place being the closest, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! I got the classic banana split sundae and it was absolutely delicious. ..It's definitely not for people on diets; I could practically see the sugar heaps swimming in the fruit syrup gathered around the scoops of delicious ice cream. The staff was exceptionally friendly, smiles all around! The price was also pretty decent, though, of course, nothing can beat just getting a tub at the local Publix. This place also has a drive through, which I've never seen before. When I got there, there were a good number of cars through the drive through, but no one in line inside. I guess my only complaint was that the tables inside were pretty sticky. Someone would come out and come wipe down the tables, which was nice, but I notice they didn't get the side of the table, which is what left sticky substance on my shirt. No! Will be back if I'm in the area again. :)

Delicious! A wonderful and inexpensive way to grab an ice cream treat on the way to or from the Disney area! They have a handy drive-through, plus ample free parking. Indoor and outdoor seating (though minimal indoor!). Quick and friendly service make this a nice go-to spot for a treat!

My first Yelp post and I'm so excited! This was the perfect end to a very successful Disney vacation. We got regular cones as well as the swirl-in with Oreos. Sooo thick, creamy and delicious. Reminded me of the old school Dairy Cream soft serve. Even better was the price-under priced if you ask me. Portions were very generous and loved that they had a kiddie cone just perfectly sized for my 4yo. This will be a regular stop for all future Orlando visits.

After overpaying for minimal quality at all the parks, what a surprise to find the creamiest soft serve at such a great price...2 cones and a sundae was $7, and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend stopping often!!

After moving to Dr. Phillips, which is part of Orlando, just north of this location, about 18 months ago, I started taking my daughter here for soft serve ice cream. I don't even know where to start in describing all the things we like about this TWISTEE. First off, it's a very nice family owned business with the owners on premises just about every time I've been here :) The staff are always accommodating and kind, helpful and pleasant. Now, the BEST PART! The ice cream is always fresh, tasty and delicious!! The prices, compared to Long Island, NY, are a FRACTION of what I used to pay for a small cone and it's so delicious! Our favorite is the chocolate/vanilla swirl soft cone with sprinkles mmmmmm GOOD!!! My daughter has also had the FLAVOR BURST ice cream in blueberry and she enjoys that equally as well!! This place is THE BEST TWISTEE and even though I don't live nearby any longer (I'm about 20 minutes away now), we still come here because the ice cream and the people can't be beat!! They have outdoor and indoor seating, easy to park AND drive up ordering too. So happy we found this place - everyone in my family loves it !! If you're from out of town, it's very easy to find it when you come out of Downtown Disney. Just make a left onto APOPKA VINELAND RD and it's on your right side, in the WINN DIXIE shopping center, right after the liquor store. No more than a couple of minutes north of the Disney exit.

I have been bringing my family here for the past 3 years and every time it is amazing! I love seeing how they employ so many people and always have more than enough on staff minimizing your wait time! I am a huge fan of the parfait and the ice water! Keep up the great work because we sure do come from a 30 minute drive each way to enjoy your friendly service and great ice cream!

Let's just say that out of the 5 days we were in Orlando, we came here 4 times. If you love soft serve, this place is one of the best. I stuck to the traditional chocolate and vanilla swirl every time. Besides being super creamy and thick, almost like its frozen custard cousin, it had a wholesome taste. The vanilla wasn't artificial tasting or too sweet and the chocolate was rich without being too heavy on the cocoa. My boyfriend got the caramel sundae twice, the banana split twirl (which was a surprisingly good version of a banana pslit blizzard), and something else I can't remember. We both agreed the soft-serve was so much smoother than the icier versions of soft-serve you get at McD's and Friendly's. And while the texture was much closer to DQ's soft-serve, the flavor was better than DQ soft-serve. We also loved the family feel of the place- service was quick, cashiers were friendly, and the whole place was really clean. The only drawback is that it's in a ho-hum shopping center that's not the most convenient to get to. It's definitely a place worth trying! Beware: the portions are generous!

The best place for soft serve around here with a drive through. For the amount they give you (a child size can be close to a medium at Dairy Queen) the cost is almost half of what you're used to. Tons of choices, price and location make this the best ice cream in the area.

I had the vanilla soft serve with the black cherry flavor burst. The vanilla was very creamy and the flavor burst complimented it very well. We also got the pina colada flavor burst..both were so pretty looking that we didn't want to eat it. Next time I come to Florida I will definitely come back to try the other flavors. Note not all locations are the same. We tried two locations and this one wins hands down.

Excellent ice cream shop that has prices unheard of these days. Family of four can leave here spending under $20. Wow! and the ice cream is excellent. Also service is super friendly and attentive. They have few tables inside and some outdoor seating for you to enjoy your ice cream or a banana split. Yum!!!

Great ice cream place that is a local chain in Central Florida. The service was slow but the ice cream was good. Not sure why the staff took care of all the drive thru cars first before dealing with customers inside the store.

Soft serve heaven with an old school feeling. This place is tucked in a little shopping center at the end of LBV. It sucks that I keep forgetting this place is so close to where I live and I miss out on the opportunities to be here more often. The prices and portions are great. I always order a vanilla soft serve with a medium cake cone with a butter pecan flavor burst. Yum!. One of the best parts is the drive thru, just order and park anywhere in the shopping center or go to the patio seating area. They also have a couple of tables inside, which is great during the summer. Overall, this is a place I would bring my kids to, if I had kids!

This is a little hole in the wall place that is surprisingly great! I got an Oreo twirl which can be best compared to a DQ blizzard, except this one was much creamier and tastier. My boyfriend got a milkshake which he said was very creamy and tasty. Also, the portion sizes are huge! I got a small and could barely finish it! Such a good place and will definitely be going back to it again

$3.68 for a "small"! 12oz of Swirl! Best deal ever! Reasonably priced and great portions! I usually get Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, and the vanilla ice cream can't be beat. Great for a hot day! Plus there's a drive-thru.

The best soft serve ice cream EVER! I got the traditional banana split and could not eat it all. My kids got twirls and again, a lot of ice cream for a reasonable price. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for six nights and we went to twistee treat on four of the nights. If you want ice cream twistee treat is an absolute must on the to do list. Great soft serve with very good prices. The Lake Buena Vista area is filled with touristy average overpriced food choices but twistee treat is an exception.

This is the only Twistee Treat location I've ever been to and I adore it! The portion/price ratio is fantastic! Seriously, the amount of soft serve you can get for $2 is amazing! I personally love the "Blue-Goo" soft serve. I highly recommend trying it or any of the other "Flavor Burst" soft serve treats. It's basically vanilla soft serve with a "burst" of another flavor. It's colorful and tasty! I use to get these at the beach when I was younger and didn't see them for years until I found them at Twistee Treat. They also make great shakes here. I love the chocolate peanut butter! The staff is very friendly and quick! When the line at the drive-thru is long they'll walk down the line to all of the cars to take orders.

Twistee Treat is where I go when I have a stupid day and want a to throw back to my childhood with a 80s style soft serve cone. It's soft serve ice cream, I always have the strawberry and vanilla swirl, in your little white sugar cone. They have lots of other treats like twirls with candy bits and sundaes, but I love the basics. And, ps, it's shaped like an ice cream cone. Winning.
