Cute and kitschy but another Orlando yelp letdown. Pasta is quality but portions for price very small. Marinara was bland and watery. Sauce just plopped on top, not mixed. Served in rectangular appetizer plate. 14$ for kids portion. Cmon.... Caprese was good. Quality. But 8.50 for 3 slices? Anti pasto was excellent. Wish thats all i ordered. Gelato was very good. But $5 for small? Older Italian gentlemen was too slick for my taste. Felt he treated young kid dishwasher worker not so great. When i paid and left, we saw him swipe the cash tip. Put in pocket. Then call the kid to bus the table. Didnt sit well. Left money for the kid who brought out food and cleared plates. Spent 90$ for 2 adults, 2 kids. And had to hit NYPD Pizza for slices before going back to room. That was great. Not recommended at all.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. First, the food. I had the "spicy basil" pasta with marinara sauce. It was very bland and the sauce was watery. I don't understand how this place has gotten such positive reviews. There must be a huge extended family in the area. There are no sides and the portions are small for the hefty 17.00 price I paid. I would say my meal was underwhelming and overpriced. If that was the end of the experience, it would have just have been another so-so meal and quickly forgotten. The reason I am making sure to Yelp about my experience is the checking out, of all things. I go to swipe my credit card and hit the "no tip" button and the old man starts complaining "My service was no good?" Blah, blah. Jumping to the conclusion that I was not going to leave a tip. I tried to say that and he totally flipped out. He starts yelling that he doesn't want a tip. My friends and I are just standing there shocked. Then I find out that he told my friend he doesn't even give the boy working there a tip. He keeps it and doesn't withhold taxes from the boy's paycheck. The crazy old man should not be dealing with the public. I always tip and I would think that the majority of servers would want cash. I am glad I didn't leave anything since the kid wouldn't benefit. If you want bland food and then get insulted, feel free to waste your money here.

Hooray for a new and wonderful locally owned Italian place! I took a friend here for her birthday and it was great. Its a small restaurant with a little market and a great selection of Gelato. We both enjoyed some homemade pasta, amazing fresh bread, and some Italian soda. Afterwards we both finished our meal with some birthday gelato! Ordering food is fun and easy - you pick a flavor of pasta, a type of pasta, and a sauce. They also have a pasta of the day which on the day of our visit was spinach and ricotta ravioli. I had it with an amazing tomato basil sauce. I love the atmosphere, loved the location, and loved the food. The only downside was it was a little on the pricey side, but the amazing food made it more than worth it. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try the next time you are in College Park.

Authentic Italian Cuisine in it's finest form! All I know is I pretty much discovered this place because I just came from a shopping spree from the critically acclaimed Dechoes. All I could see from the outside was this assortment of vibrant Gelato and tons of Pasta. I did not realize the ordeal I was getting into. Vanessa from the moment I walked in was super sweet and very helpful. She did a great job at explaining how everything is made fresh and nothing is processed. Come to find out Vanessa and her family own this lovely establishment. The inspiration of the shop was because her son said Mom I want pasta like they have in Italy, because apparently in Italy everything is made from scratch. I love the fact that she took out the time to give me a background story. Just the fact that Vanessa exuded so much passion, I knew the passion would transfer onto the plate.......Boy I was right! I decided to pick Peppered Herb pasta topped with Bolognese Sauce. I was able to witness the owners of the place actually shred the pasta in front of you, how awesome is that? Vanessa prior to serving my main entree brought me out a fresh bread basket drizzled with fresh olive oil and herbs. Unbelievable! Then the main entree comes out and it looks like it came straight out of a magazine, the chunks of fresh cheese that were on top of my pasta..........................(SIGH) Each bite just seemed to get better and better. I think my heart almost stopped.......seriously........I mean this is the best Pasta I have ever had. I need to visit Italy ASAP.......ASAP......But the good news is Italy is right here in the heart of Orlando. What I loved is the feeling after I ate my divine meal....I did not have that typical heavy aching feeling after I at. I had a revelation like Whoa! This is how pasta is actually supposed to taste. Geez! I have been missing out. I came across an Italian Gem....All I know is I am coming back for more. The Gelato display alone will have you running back for more. Culinary at it's best!

Um, homemade pasta, homemade pasta sauce, and homemade meatballs!? Yes please!! I have been wanting to check this place out for months, and I finally made it over there this evening. The guy behind the counter told me his favorite flavor that they had today was the Italian herb, so I tried that. I had it with the meat sauce and meatballs, and I was not sorry one bit! It was delicious and my plate was clean! I had the salted caramel gelato for dessert and it was pretty darn good too! I'll definitely be back to try other options!

Oh my goodness, Trevi, where have you been all my life?! Firstly, and most importantly, Trevi makes real gelato with real ingredients! I've been searching high and low for really good gelato in Orlando and I've finally found it. It rivals what I enjoyed in Italy (where my gelato obsession started twelve years ago). Outside of the amazing, delicious gelato, Trevi is known for their freshly made pastas. You can pick it up to take home and cook or sit down an enjoy a meal at the shop (I highly recommend as the people working are friendly and interesting). Who doesn't want fresh made pasta and gelato while enjoying beautiful Italian conversation? No one. Go! Now.

This review is just for their gelato. After a nice sushi date at Shin Sushi, we decided to pass on the molten lava cake at Shin and get some gelato. I am sure glad that we skipped on dessert and made the quick drive to Trevi. I went with a mix of almond and strawberry chip gelato, while my fiancee ordered mango and strawberry sorbet. My gelato was rich and creamy. I loved the small broken pieces of chocolate in the strawberry gelato and the thinly sliced almonds in the almond gelato. I chose the perfect balance with these two flavors. What really made the gelato enjoyable was that it was not too sweet, flavors were just right. I'd like to come back and try their house made pasta sometime soon! The restaurant is small though, so I hope I come at a good time.

This place is a must try. The other reviews weren't lying when they said authentic . Taste is amazing ! Service was amazing too I believe his name was Angelo and he was so friendly really made me feel like he wanted my business and that he enjoyed being there. I had the spicy garlic pasta with the cheese sauce and grilled chicken and also the chocolate strawberry gilatte all amazing !! The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 star is because of the price. Granted by the time I paid the food sold itself I just think for a place like this it was pricey . I would highly recommend and I will be returning!

Trevi has a great selection of imported products but of course, the most notable thing is the homemade, fresh pasta. They had a few different varieties when I was there and the owner had me try them all. I ended up going home with a peppercorn semolina type pasta. Of course, he probably would have been appalled to know I paired it with sauce from a jar, but my Irish American tastebuds were pleased nonetheless. I need to go back and actually eat there and stick around for the gelato. It smelled so good when I walked in that I didn't want to leave!

As soon as I walked in, Vanessa (the owner) was very welcoming and explained everything to me. Service was warm and friendly, and you could definitely tell they were passionate about their menu. She suggested to have the squid ink pappardelle with the tomato basil sauce, which was topped with shaved parmesan cheese. Pasta is cut to your choice, and there is an open kitchen where you can see how how fresh the pasta is. Tip: try sitting at the tables toward the left side of the restaurant as you can see into the kitchen and watch the dishes being put together. Bread was served as well. Portions were just enough for lunch, and I was very impressed with the sauce. I had the bacio and amaretto gelato afterwards, which was a great combination. There are big pieces of bacio chocolate in the gelato as well. I will be definitely be back to try the other pastas and sauces. Vanessa did talk about how she does not do much marketing, and I am very glad I found out about this place.

This place doesn't need a 5 star review because clearly they have sooooooooooo much love already, but note that when I do give 5 stars, know that this is someplace that truly stands out head -and - shoulder above anyplace else in the area. Trevi pasta food is extraordinarily good, the owner Vanessa, and Angelo, and the service is quite possibly the best on the face of the planet. I've never experienced such personal, warm, friendly, kind, caring, prompt, and professional service. This place is amazing, if you love pasta this place will not disappoint you. So stop wasting time, and come on down. This is my new favorite Italian restaurant. This place makes their pasta fresh daily. The raviolis are like little puffy pockets of love. Those damn raviolis are the most flavorful raviolis I ever had. I'm drooling as I'm typing, just thinking about them. I had the spinach raviolis which were the most amazing raviolis I've ever had, and let's not forget the oil and sprinkle herbs over the delicious soft bread they bring out to you just before your dinner. The gelatos are so amazing, my favorite is the coconut gelato, but then again I've tried them all, and they are all delicious. I can sit here, and write all this review about this place, but it will not mean anything until you get down to Trevi pasta, and taste it for yourself.

Good food, but overpriced for the portions. . Not all menu choices on board are available. So ask before you decide.

If you like to have good authentic Italian food and good natured/spirited/friendly/kind service go here. although it is a small quaint restaurant i highly recommend this place: 1) its a family owned business with hospitable owners who was gracious enough to accommodate our group of 8 that came in without any reservations 2) the cultural ambience and experience of listening to the explanation of the menu (if you ask for it), physically seeing your pasta made infront of you (the ravioli is the only one you dont see made infront of you), and allowing your senses and companions enjoy the succulent aroma and taste of good italian food Recommend: 1) if u have a party 6 or more make sure you reserve a table especially on the busy days which per the manager is "thursday and friday" 2) not for when you are in a hurry. Although you can try calling your order in prior to arriving

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. The owner was very gracious and personally sat us and took our orders. The pasta was ssssssssssooooooo fresh and the sauces were top quality. I had the squid ink pasta with a mushroom cream sauce and my lady had the semolina pasta with a the marinara. Both were on point. For dessert we had the best gelato I've ever had. I will be coming back to this shop!

Best pasta, great quality, incredible service. You immediately feel like you've known them your entire life! They make the pasta right in front of you, cut it to your liking, and serve it to you almost immediately. I have yet to have anything even mediocre. If you haven't been here, you're wrong. Love this place. (And Vanessa. She rocks too.)

FRESH homemade or should I say in store pasta and sauces! It doesn't get any fresher than this place. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally had a chance to. After my first visit, let's just say this will be my go-to place for Italian food for sure :) I came here with Ches P. for lunch and I was a little confused as to how things worked since there was no formal seating, so order your food first, and then take a seat wherever you'd like. The menu is on the wall and I'm pretty sure it changes daily so I can't say that what I ordered will be there, but it wouldn't hurt to ask and I'm pretty sure the owners would not mind making whatever you would like to order. Different varieties of pasta, flavors, and ingredients. And yes, you can even bring it home. The owners will give you instructions on how to cook it and even suggest what to pair the pasta's with. Tomato sauce! Their homemade tomato sauce was so freaking good! It was light and flavorful. Had it with their gnocchi and topped with shaved Parmesan cheese, yum. yum. yum! Actually if you mix the tomato sauce with their carbonara sauce together it is actually pretty good. I know yes that sounds weird, just try it! And of course, there is bread served to your table. Something about their olive oil was so good. I just wished there was a small plate of it to dip the bread onto it since it was just lightly drizzled. The food will make you feel good and not that heavy-I'm-so-full feeling since most will give you that itis :P Save room for dessert, I mean you're already there and it will be calling your name. haha. They also make the gelato themselves and the serving for a small is a LOT, but you'll be happy for sure ;) I tried the pistachio and I mean I'm already a fan of pistachio and this set it for me. Delicious! I also tried the Bacio and don't ask, just get it. It's a chocolate lovers dream! The service was the only thing here, it was a bit slow, but it didn't bother me. The owners are really friendly, informative, and you can see how passionate they are about what they do and make for their customers. Love this place and I recommend everyone to try it out!

After reading various reviews I decided I'd buy a pound of their pasta to determine whether I would be a returning customer. Upon arriving there wasn't an empty table in sight and people seemed to be enjoying their dishes. The man who tended to me (I think his name is Angelo) was very nice once we started talking but initially he was speaking with other guests for a while so I can understand why others would say that they felt ignored, but the way I saw it was that he gives his undivided attention to only one person at a time... I mean... I could be wrong but he was extremely nice to me once we got to talking. I told him I was very excited about using a wonderful Italian truffle oil I had purchased while I had been on vacation in Montreal and his eyes lit up as he told me which pasta to buy, and how long I should cook it for. "2 minutes; not a second more!" He repeated more than twice and I even set my timer once I got home and everything. What ensued once I finally prepared my meal was absolute bliss. I know it's just pasta but there is a big difference between store bought pasta and one that has just been made. Do yourself a favor and pick up some pasta, and pick out a good recipe to use it with. I think you'll agree that there's no going back once you've had the real deal.

I have a hard time giving this place even a 3 because the owner over the phone sounded awesome and the reviews are great. However, after spending $60 for what amounts to two small plates of pasta and two small Gelato cups with minimal service, I won't be coming back. Let me say that the owner sounded enthused and I believe she loves the place. However, the man working and the kid helping were not only rude, but it didn't seem like they could give less of a shit if they tried. Water from a faucet, not cold and no ice with plates tossed on our table. The order was yelled at from the counter while we sat, the guy taking the order then told us 'no credit cards.' Yelp says credit cards are allowed, no mention was made. He said the machine didn't work, in reality he knew we were out of town and decided to try and ensure money would come. What a terrible move. He finally accepted my card after prodding. So we order dinner. I did Gnocchi and everyone else did pasta. $15 for a couple bites felt like a rip off. The pasta seemed decently portioned. However, it was all lukewarm....like it was put in a microwave for a couple minutes and not cooked well enough. They forgot the bread...and then served it cold, despite the board advertising warm bread. Each order gets bread...we got one loaf. All said, I paid my buddies meal as it was his birthday. For two small gelato, a Gnocchi and pasta without meat. I paid $60. I felt pissed and ripped off, and I honestly feel like if I'd complained the guy running the joint would have gotten way too angry, as he'd been making rather insincere comments throughout the meal. I was with a large group and just decided to stay cheery for the sake of my friends, who'd I insisted join for a birthday at an Italian place I'd picked out. This is the only Yelp place I feel I fucked up with on finding a good, local restaurant and I won't be back. $60 for that was an absolute rip off and I'm saddened we had such a terrible experience.

Finally came back to try the gelatto and wow I really didn't think I could be more blown away by this place. The gelatto is simply a must try. I do recommend just letting vanessa help you pick good flavors to convince as she does not disappoint!

This place is excellent. The owners and staff are always very friendly. The pasta is fresh made and the menu has less common types of pasta like squid ink. To everyone commenting "too expensive", if you want cheap pasta loaded with preservatives then you should go to Olive Garden.

I have been going to Trevi pasta for the past year and I must say that yesterday was my worst experience. I used to enjoy eating here and have sent many of my family and friends here. I must say though that I will never go back. The quality of the food there has gotten progressively worse over the past few months. Yesterday was the worst. The sauce was watery, the pasta was bland and to top it off, the male owner of the store was rude and very unprofessional. At check out, he yelled at me about not leaving a tip on my credit card. Stay away from this restaurant unless you enjoy watered down pasta sauce and a rude owner.

Owner is super pleasant. It's run by a woman and her mom and dad. She makes the pasta in the back fresh daily. Flavors vary depending on what she's made. Small, quaint and clean. Great atmosphere for a light lunch, catching up with friends. I'll be coming back on my next visit. I had the garlic parsley pasta with tomato basil sauce. VEGAN FRIENDLY!!!!

Holy smokes this place is legit. I have had it bookmarked for weeks and finally decided to take my fella out for dinner. It's a relatively small spot on Edgewater, but there are plenty of tables suitable for 2 (and I heard the owner offer to push 2 together for a group of 3). You order at the counter, take a seat if you're eating there, and ponder which gelato you'll order after dinner. Oh yeah- the gelato is front and center and too tempting to turn down! The owner is from 'Roma' and he knows how to run an Italian joint! There is plenty of dried pasta to buy and take home and they have a lot of it on display to show you what each type is called. They also have Nutella, olive oil, crackers, and other authentic Italian groceries. I was so excited to see the owner rolling and cutting pasta for someone's to-go order. Can it get more fresh than that?!? We shared the White Truffle Ravioli and were blown away. 8 large Ravioli served with a drizzle of flavorful olive oil- Mmmmm! We also shared a Caprese Salad that was divine! How can a tomato and mozzarella salad be divine, Andi?? Homemade pesto drizzle, that's how. The pesto was surprising with a fabulous lemon flavor. I usually feel uncomfortably full after eating at 'Italian' restaurants, but having eaten in Italy, I can verify that this lighter meal is much more representative of what Italians eat. (I just annoyed myself with that statement. Please pardon me.) I finally went with the Bacio Gelato (which is a cooler way of saying Hazelnut/Nutella) which came in a cute plastic cup with a tiny spoon and a wafer cookie- perfect for taking on a College Park stroll. Which is precisely what we did. Big thumbs up!

Based on good Yelp reviews, we stopped by for gelato and tiramisu. Maybe we went into this place on a wrong day. Tiramisu looked very dry and old so we skipped it. Pistachio and armond gelato was delicious but pricy-paid $9 for two single cups of gelato. Has nice selection of fresh pasta and the owner was nice.

We came tonight after jazz fest. Angelo was so funny, nice and helpful with our decisions. The gnocchi was delicious as well as the pasta salad and gelato! We will definitely be back. Thanks perfect for grabbing on the go, or to buy fresh homemade pasta in bulk for a dinner party!

Visiting from California and ate at Trevi's not once but twice because I wanted it to be my last meal before leaving. The fresh pasta was awesome and the desserts were amazing! I told the owner he should open a second location in Sacramento!

Came here on a Sunday night. Vanessa was very friendly and spoke Italian with me, as I have been studying it for 5 years. Great place to come practice! Also the pasta was delicious, cooked just right and I personally thought the portion was filling. Since it is fresh pasta, your food comes out relatively fast, took about 6-7 minutes for two plates. If you're looking for great food from a not-so-fancy authentic cafe, this is the place for you. Also the Gelato... phenomenal! Enough flavors to satisfy any craving, I recommend the bacio flavor for the sweet tooth. Chocolate flavor without being overpowering. Overall great service, will come back often!

Great fresh pasta. I ordered spinach pasta with chicken marinara sauce it was so good. Price are not cheap, we ordered antipasto, 2 pasta dish( one with chicken) and 1 medium gelato for $65. But worth it. Will go back

First visit to Trevi even though it's in my neighborhood. Delicious. Your choice of a variety of fresh pasta. Homemade sauces. I had the spinach fettucini with a red pancetta sauce. Portions are very good size and was really good. The owner and staff were super nice and friendly. I'll be going back soon.

After reading the reviews and being from new jersey where there's no lack of good italian food and fresh pasta ,I felt I owed it to myself to try Trevi. I did enjoy it and found the flavors great however I did find the value for money lacking .Portions though tasty were small except for the gelato which I found to be both generous and delicious . All in all ,I would recommend .

Oh wow! I got the spicy pasta, along with Mom's bolognese sauce. I can't tell you how fantastic that was. In my top 10 meals prepared at home. I LIKE to make my own sauces. But no more. My very best marinara sauce was GOOD, but couldn't compare to this. They have several kinds of pasta and sauces(changes by day and availability). You can eat there or take it for later preparation. They have ravioli and pasta salads. And fantastic Gelato. I gave 5 stars, with some conditions: 1. They are new, and still figuring out how to run a retail outlet. It can get a little slow when busy. They seem to be smart people, so I expect this will work itself out. 2. Their prices are a bit too high, though it is easy to say their food is worth it. 3. If you ask them to provide by portion size, they recommend a size that would be difficult for most people to eat. My normal portions are a little more than 1/2 theirs. So this leads to #2 as well. If you don't eat 1/2 lb of pasta in a setting, then you can save by ordering your size and not having so much left over. From now on, when I want to cook a pasta dinner for company, I will make the meat, and leave the pasta and sauce to the experts at Trevi Pasta.

What an awesome addition to the Orlando area. This family loves what they do and it truly shows in their food. The customer service was enthusiastic and welcoming, but of course the true highlight of the experience was their amazing pasta, sauces, and antipastas. I will certainly be back...time and time again.

I came here per recommendations. Pasta was ok, sauce was not good, it's water down, and no choice of meat for the pasta. I feel that it's pricey for pasta with water down sauce with no meat. Dessert was good though. I feel that it's pricey for the food and type of place it is (the place has a few table, you order at counter)

This is the freshest pasta and ravioli one can have. Simple but delicious sauces. Love this place and plan to com here frequently. The owner and her family are delightful and welcoming. Ask to have a tour of the pasta making process. Oh, and the gelato is to die for!

What a great find on a Sunday afternoon after dropping relatives off at the airport, and we wish we lived closer!! We were actually looking for another restaurant which turned out to be closed, and finding this great little place was a wonderful twist of fate. The fresh pasta and sauces were delicious, as was the gelato and tiramisu. The atmosphere and decor are very pleasant, and we enjoyed the Italian gentleman and his trainee, a fine young man, very much. If this place was around the corner, we'd be there often and picking up take-out when we weren't in the mood to dine out. I think it will be worth a drive from Clearwater to Orlando to visit this gem of a restaurant in the future.

The best part about Trevi is the atmosphere without a doubt, it made me wish that they had some outdoor seating on a busy street in Italy. The menu changes all the time, and having never been it was a bit of shock stepping through the door with the combinations of pasta offered (I hate making choices on the fly). However, the owner of the joint (Vanessa) is wonderful. She helped explain what they do (fresh pasta), the sauces of the day, and the options that you have when choosing your pasta. Vanessa clued us in that you can check the daily menu on Facebook if you are looking for something specific. From the get-go everything just had a very relaxed feeling to it, and you can order everything up front and grab one of the tables (the place is a little small so not sure how it will be if it's crazy busy). We grabbed some antipasti before the meal which was really good. The onions soaked in balsamic were my favorite. Having tried two different meals my recommendation leans toward the ravioli. I had the sun-dried tomato ravioli with a garlic white sauce. All the pasta comes with fresh Parmesan sliced on top, and honestly the big pieces of cheese lend a wonderful texture. The only reason I was not the biggest fan of the pasta itself is my preference is for pasta to be dried before cooking. While its amazing that this is all made in house and fresh, I personally find the pasta a little soft. That said, the ravioli alone make me want to come back, and the gelato that is served here (pistachio!) closes out the meal to a T. Overall, everyone here is incredibly friendly and quite Italian! You really get a sense of supporting someone starting up their new business and that part is terrific. If you are a pasta lover, or just like fresh food that tastes great I highly recommend this place.

Authentic Italian cafe/ristorante. You get to choose which pasta and size and they make it in front of you fresh. But a little pricey. Their gelato is belissimo! Will be returning for the gelato :)

In my whole life even in Italy itself i haven't tried a pasta as delicious as this one. I tried the mushroom ravioli with pink sauce and the spicy thick pasta with 4 cheese sauce. Also we ordered the olives with bread for starters and they were really good that they made me more hungry. The portion size for each plate (lunch) was very good, excellent. I saw them cooking a new 4 cheese ravioli and they make the pastas infront of me. Overall this restaurant made my day and try the tiramisu

My wife and I went last sunday and was amazed at the quality, cleanliness and friendliness of the place, the dishes are excellent, fresh pasta and sauce a delight, a special combination which you can feel the taste of both the pasta sauce respectively as of a single moment that is to be savoring this delicious dish and really Italian

I moved home 5 months ago after living in Italy for over a year and I have yet to find anything delicious enough to satisfy my snobby self... until eating at Trevi Pasta. Awesome handmade pasta (many different exciting flavors), phenomenal imported antipasti, and gelato that will change your life forever!!!! You should go.

Can't make it to Italy? Come here! Beautiful Italian people and even more beautiful pasta and gelati. This is truly an experience, so come with time, eyes and ears open, and embrace a wonderful pasta experience! Only four stars, because the prices are a little high for flour and eggs with a vegan topping. Will I be back? Yes, because it's so delicious, but if they lowered the price a tad, I would be back more.

Very good and fresh pasta. It has flavors not only in the paste but the noodles. The pasta is very soft and absorbs a lot of paste. The tiramisu is to die for. The ladyfingers absorb all the espresso. You can taste different flavors at once. The bitterness of the espresso, the softness of the cake, and the sweetness make a perfect match. The place is really clean. You will probably need to pay 20 more bucks to have the same food at other restaurants. Definitely will come by later.

My husband and I stumbled on Trevi one Saturday night. We were very pleased with our experience!! We each chose a pasta, a sauce and picked the caprese salad to start. The only downfall of our visit was that, upon ordering at the counter, we found there were no vacant tables! We waited only 10 min for a table - no bad at all. The caprese salad was delicious! If it's on the menu, I'd definitely recommend trying it! The pastas were great (husband - spicy garlic pappardelle, me - garlic pappardelle) and the sauce was delicious (both - tomato basil). We had a nice conversation with the owner as well - very sweet lady! Next visit, we will leave room for gelato!!

WOW! Amazing food and amazing service! It was like going to my family's for dinner. 5 star food in a relaxed quick environment. The pasta is now only %100 fresh but made to order anyway you like!

Trevi Pasta has become my favorite place to eat, so much that I can't eat pasta anywhere else without subconsciously comparing the two. I've tried the lemon basil, spicy garlic, spinach ravioli with 4 cheese, and ravioli with ricotta and artichokes. All have been fresh, delicious, and tasty. I've ordered take out from there as well, and it takes only minutes to make so I never have to wait long when I'm hungry. Try it out, and don't forget to get some gelato! Almond and Amarena are my favorites!

Liked it a lot. Very good pasta and the gelato was excellent. We will be back, but there are a couple of problems. The main one being it takes too long to get the food. Fresh pasta with sauce should not take over 20 minutes to arrive, when there is not a huge crowd to serve before us. Service is slow. Quality is probably the best I have experienced in Florida. Prices are a little high for what you get. Pasta with tomato sauce and no meat or veggies cost over $14. It was a good portion, but it was not extra huge. You need to offer the Carni option after pasta, if you want to do the Italian route, and you have to put some meat in it, if you do it the American way. Now, we got a lot of pasta, and then desert. I miss out on the proteins from meat or fish. We will still be back, as the quality was excellent.

If you are looking for three best fresh pasta and the most amazing gelato you must. Come to Trevi. Run by an authentic Italian family that is warm and inviting. You will get an education in real Italian food and one of the best meals you've had in awhile. Must try the spinach pasta!

I have eaten lunch here several time and have never been disappointed. The spicy pastas are my favorite. And you have to finish with gelato. Made fresh it' to die for.

A visit to Trevi Pasta is like walking into an Italian cafe in Rome. It is a family-run business. The owners are very warm and welcoming. The daughter makes the pastas and ravioli, the mother makes the delicious sauces and the cousin makes the amazing gelatos. They literally cut the pasta fresh for each order. The flavors of pasta rotate daily, but be sure to check out the spinach, rosemary or garlic basil pastas. They also carry an amazing espresso flavored soda. It unique and refreshing. Italian grocery items - gnocchi, orichetti, dried porcini mushrooms, canned and jar tomatoes, balsamic glazes and olive oils are for sale. Everything is so fresh and delicious. We look forward to returning for many more scrumptious meals or to purchase some fresh pasta to take home for dinner!

Purchased fresh pasta for my husband's sauce on Sunday - very delicious. I wanted semolina pasta but they didn't have it that day so I chose the peppercorn pasta. It definately had a pepper taste but was really good. Next time I will opt for something with more flavor but we didn't want it to interfere with our sauce. I would like to stop in for a lunch - I didn't realize they prepared food to eat there. Kitchy little place.....the gelato looked great in the case....

Not many Italian places are actually run by Italians. What makes this place even better is they are actually Italian restauranteurs. Fresh pasta, gelato and house-made sauces are all delicious. We tried the Bolognese and Cherry Tomato sauce with Basil and both were terrific. Pistachio gelato was creamy and tasted very Italian. Well worth the visit.

Finally.. a place where I can practice my terrible Italian with the old couple behind the counter as they cut their fresh, made-from-scratch pasta. Best pasta i've had since living in Italia. Va bene va bene.

There is nothing like fresh made pasta and when I saw Trevi opened and all the glowing reviews I was so excited to take my family here for dinner. We were a little disappointed they don't serve wine because Italian food without wine is just not the same. We were a party of 5 and ordered several variations of the pastas being offered that night. I ordered the Boscaoila sauce; which is a red sauce with black olives, mushrooms & pancetta. The pasta itself was very good and was cooked perfectly. The sauces were extremely disappointing. The Boscaoila sauce did not even have a hint of pancetta & contained canned mushrooms. Everyone was a little disappointed with their dishes. Mid way through our meal one of the employees sprayed ammonia on the table next to us and we could barley breath; never mind try to enjoy our food. We had Tiramisu for dessert which was very good. However, once I received the bill I couldn't help but feel ripped off. The small pasta dishes were $15 (without any meat) and sauces that really didn't do the pasta justice. I know labor is factored in, but I also know the price to make pasta and this kind of mark up is ridiculous. The tiramisu which is a regular piece was $7.95. It costs us $140 for 5 people to eat there with tap water, pasta dishes and desserts. I'd rather spend a few more dollars and got to Enzo's on the lake with a beautiful ambiance and food to match it.

This place is one of a kind!! You walk in and are greeted warmly by the owner Vanessa who speaks beautiful Italian and it feels asif you are walking into her kitchen at home) we were explained the process of ordering the pasta . The pasta is made fresh with seminola flour and each day different flavored are infused into the pasta! Once you pick your pasta you pick how you want it cut! You watch them cut the pasta fresh for you! Every day the Vanessa's mother makes fresh sauces and you can either eat the pasta there or take it home and cook it up!! Then in the case are some if the most beautiful desserts you can imagine! We ordered the limoncello cake and it was delicious!! Light airy with a light creamy lemon filling. It was a little pricey for the slice but worth every bite!! We also got a little tour where we got to see her beautiful pasta making machine!! We can't wait to go back!! Vanessa's cousin makes the gelato and I sampled one of the flavors which was delicious!

The pastas are amazing! Fresh, homemade, and cut to order. No place like it in Orlando. The gelato is also fantastic and homemade. This place is like something you'd see on a small side street in Rome. Absolutely fantastic. A true little gem in College Park.

If you like to get insulted by the owner than this is the restaurant for you to visit. By the way their chicken is not cooked in the restaurant and Vanessa the owner told me this 4 times and they buy it in precooked, so for me to think it was under cooked was ridiculous. She kept bring this up to me even though I kept my dish but just didn't eat the chicken, as I am pregnant and didn't want to take the chance. At the end of our private event, she brought it up again as I paid, adding she did not charge me for it and I just nodded, and she carried on to say that even though they buy it precooked. I said I got that the first 4 times she said it in front of all my friends. At this point she just went crazy yelling at me and telling me she can charge me the $4 for the chicken. And she had a 5 star rating and didn't care! Very Very very rude. I would never ever return there. She threaten to call the police because I said that she needs to work on her customer service practice! Food sucked too ! Pasta was undercooked and the sauce was like water. The father was even me rude saying I had to much wine! Hello! I am pregnant, I can't drink!

This is a great place. The owner is very personable and spent a lot of time explaining the menu. I had the ravioli and my friends had the fettuccine. It is made fresh as well as the sauces. It was delicious. We also had an antipasto salad and a variety of olives. Great! The gelato was fantastic too!

This is the best Italian restaurant!! It's clean, fresh, and authentic Italian food. I've been to many Italian restaurants, it being my favorite food and this tops it all without a doubt. The dessert is awesome!! You must give the Gelato a GO! It really is Delicious..The atmosphere is comfortable and customer service is excellent, they make you feel like family. Definitely would and will go back (in 5days to be exact). I've already recommended to a few friends and family.

A while back I got an insane craving for authentic gelato but couldn't find any place that actually had it. Many ice cream shops call their product gelato but it's always just ice cream. (Yes, there is a definite difference!and I'm Italian so I know this very well.) Through chance I saw that this place had just opened and decided to check it out. FINALLY authentic gelato in Orlando, and it couldn't be better! Haven't tried any of the pasta yet but I've only been hearing good things so it is on my list. Can't wait to go back

Visiting my sister who told me we had to go here. I'm not a big pasta person but I went anyway and I'm glad I did! Their homemade ravioli is so fresh and delicious and their gelato is some of the best I've ever had. The staff and owner are also extremely friendly. Can't wait to go back next time I am in town!

My fiancé and I live nearby and drive by all the time. We finally stopped in on 6/20/14, and were not sure exactly what we were in store for. Man were we delightfully surprised! What a great selection of fresh handmade pasta! You could see them making it from the table too. The service was excellent at the walkup counter, talking us through the different options before we ordered and offering samples too. The quaint little two person tables inside (or outside too) were perfect for the short wait time before the food was brought out. It was nice that complementary bread was brought to the table. The spicy garlic noodle with red pancetta sauce was great. And the mushroom with ricotta ravioli with truffle oil and parmesan was stunning! Of course we had to have the gelato too which was awesome. My only gripe is that since we were helped so well, we never looked at a menu before ordering. When it came time for the bill, it seemed a bit pricy; around $50 for two. But that was my fault for not cracking open a menu and I had no problem paying that much for the wonderful meal. It just would have been nice understanding at the beginning what kind of price range I was looking at. Maybe a sign board over the kitchen window would be a good addition? I really hope this place does well as I look forward to going back many times in the future. Perfecto!

This place is amazing! I remember the days when O'Stromboli was an Italian market with fresh pastas and sauces and cheese straight from Italy. Since they became solely a restaurant Orlando has been missing a legit Italian market. Well now we have Trevi Pasta! The Italian staff makes sauces and pasta daily and there is a wall full of imported goodies. This is the only place I will be getting my pastas and sauces from! (Their gelato is amazing as well)

This place is fantastic. The quality is top notch and is exactly like what you would find in Italy. Words cannot do justice to the quality level of the food they serve. Best pasta in America. Best sauce in America. Very kind and accommodating. You should really go if you like true Italian food

Lovely New Business in the Heart of College Park, Right next door to "China in College Park". I was Greeted by the owner, Vanessa, and ordered an espresso, counter service only with tables inside and out, and got some of the best I've had in Central Florida in years. (they use Lavazza) I then ordered a small gelato, plenty for one. She offered to include two different flavors, so I chose salted caramel and pistachio, the same combo that I saw one of the workers there choose. Great Flavors, texture, and perfect sweetness. After "hitting 2 for 2", I decided to ask about the Pasta. Vanessa, a Central Florida native who's been living in Italy until recently, explained her philosophy of using only the finest ingredients and methods, and showed me to an area where customers can watch Vanessa and her two workers, Maximo, and Massimo, both straight from Italy, making the pasta. They also make Fresh Ravioli and they have twenty different types of pasta shapes they can make. Vanessa cooks fresh Spinach and Beets herself to make her colored pasta. Pasta and Ravioli are sold by the pound, so I got one pound, with 3 different types of pasta. When I got home It only took about 2 minutes for me to cook half a pound (Plenty for four along with a salad) "al dente" since it's fresh, and OH BOY, Was it GOOD! Great Taste and Texture, Perfect with my Super Quick sauce of sauteed onions and sliced garlic with half a bottle of Strained Tomatoes that I also purchased at Trevi. If You like, Vanessa cooks and offers her own Sauces for you to purchase, enabling you to take it home and make your own one pot meal in just a few minutes, and, with the addition of some nice crusty bread and a salad, eat just the same as if you're seated at a Trattoria on a street in Rome! I got to meet Vanessa's Father Angelo, and he graciously took some time to talk with me and told me they had just opened this past weekend, and along with the already stocked Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Canned Tomatoes, Vinegars, Mushrooms, Huge Olives, and dried pasta's (ALL imported from Italy!) they will soon be selling Tiramisu, cold cuts, and Panini's. I have TWO pasta machines at home, and will be putting them away in storage now that Vanessa has opened shop so close to my home! Some may feel I'm over enthusiastic about Trevi Pasta, so I feel must disclose that I'm of Italian Descent, born and raised in Brooklyn, and that this business does bring on Memories of both my Heritage, and upbringing. This is the type of store we had on every other block, and I Love it, so MANGIA!!! NOW, if we can only get a Great Authentic Italian Bakery here in College Park...... (for now, I buy from a German Store, "BACKHAUS", on Orange Ave)

I live in college park and I'm happy to see a place like this so close to my doorstep. It's authentic Italian which is not very common in this area. The gelato is awesome and they make their pasta fresh daily! How can you beat that?!

We had our first visit to Trevi today. It will be the first of many more to come. We ordered piadinis, a type of flatbread sandwich with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula. We also had a side of their olive salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. Their varied selections of homemade pastas, sauces, and gelato on display will bring us back to try as many as we can. The shop is sparkling clean, and resembles ones seen in Rome. There are shelves of Italian delicacies for purchase as well as their own pasta for sale by the pound. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny spent for quality and flavor.

Overall for the food and price of Trevi Pasta, I would rate them a 4/5, but because of the wonderful service and the amazing homemade tiramisu, I'm giving them a 5/5. I ordered a spicy tomato pasta with the bolognese sauce and it was really good, but I think I was expecting more because I was told this sauce is one of their biggest sell outs and the line goes out the door when they sell it. The portion size was decent for dinner and was priced at about $15. The homemade gelatos were also pretty good, but a bit on the expensive end. It was about $6 for a small cup size. I much rather spend that on their tiramisu because that was fantastic! The best I've had in the Orlando area and like everything else at Trevi, it's homemade. They have a different menu almost every day so be sure to check their facebook page unless you want to try your luck with their pastas/sauces of the day.

Undeniably the best homemade pasta this side of the pond! Awesome staff and the food - delish! Not in the mood to cook so I picked up some spicy tomato pappardelle and tomato basil sauce with meatballs. My only regret is not getting the gelato which I tasted and yep I'm an idiot. You are missing a real gem in college park!

I'm Italian and from Boston so i long ago gave up on finding pasta that equaled that from my childhood. Well I just have. Trevi is the real thing. Pasta made to order, prepared and cooked right in front of you. Sauces that taste like they are right out of Rome. Gelato and other deserts that are also the real thing. I haven't had gelato like this since I was in Rome. A vibrant ownership make the whole experience authentic. It's a small storefront type place so make reservations if you go on a weekend, but take it to go if you must. Just don't miss this place!

I eat pasta at least 5 times a week, and it's easily my favorite food, so I was excited to hear that there was a spot that had freshly made pastas and raviolis in so many different flavors and shapes/sizes, as well as homemade sauces. You can buy the pasta by the pound to take home with you, or can eat in their small cafe! The pasta can last up to a week in the fridge and the raviolis I believe three days. I decided to eat in their cafe and ordered the large ribbon noodles and did half spinach and half garlic and parsley with the meat sauce. It was served with freshly shaved parmesan cheese on top that was so sharp and delicious. The pasta is freshly pressed and cut right in front of you, which is fun to watch. If you've never had fresh, homemade noodles, you are missing out. It's by far 100 times better than the premade packaged noodles. It's also fun that you can pick from a large selection of flavors. I loved my meal and ate the entire plate. They change their menu on a regular basis and sometimes have specials running on certain things. You can follow them on Facebook, where they update their daily specials and list the different flavors of noodles and sauces they have for that day. Among the pastas, raviolis and sauces, they also have salads and piadinis which are flatbread sandwiches. And you can't forget about the gelato! There were so many flavors to pick from...I ended up getting the tiramisu and it was the perfect way to end my meal! As for drinks, they carry canned sodas, flavored Sanpellagrinos (the orange is really good), bottled water and a few other bottled beverages. I'll be going back soon to buy some noodles and sauces to bring home with me and to try some raviolis...they didn't have any the day I went.

I love that this place is family-run; everyone who works here really cares about the food and your experience. It's highly enjoyable. Pick your pasta and your sauce, sit down and wait for the deliciousness. I didn't try any of their pre-prepped takeout items but I may stop back in sometime to add a thing or two to my weekend menu at home. Everything is great quality; the food was delicious! Just be prepared: while this is a deli atmosphere with canned/bottled drinks, limited seating, and a counter where you order/pay, the entree prices are much closer to fine dining (or at least higher-end checkered-tablecloth type). I think the food is worth the cost, but we did have a little sticker shock at checkout.

Authentic and amazing. Owner makes the experience a great one. Homemade everything can't go wrong. This IS the real deal. Tiramisu and gelato is fantastic. And the owner know how to make a perfect espresso to top off dessert. The amount of food is very satisfying. True Italian at its best in every way. Great job Trevi!

The no-carb fad has long shriveled away with this new business in College Park. Triva is an Italian specialty shop. This is gourmet Italian, custom made to order, right in the heart of College Park on Edgewater Dr. Trivia hand makes all kinds of pasta and can infuse the pasta with anything you like. They offer many Italian imported goods and also have Italian desserts like gelato ready to serve. The customer service was amazing! I just happen to talk to the owner and she gave me a mini tour and answered all questions I had.

I was so excited about this place and maybe the other reviews were great because Vanessa, the owner, was there and for my service she was not. I thought the guy could care less if we were there and the food was pricey for what it was and watered down. I did not get the gelato so this review is just for the pasta. Parking: you parallel park in front of the restaurant. It's in a cute area of College Park with lots of non-chain shopping around so you could eat and walk around which is nice. We came in on a Sunday at four and there was no one else there. The place probably fits like 20 people, maybe, so its pretty small but they have windows for you to sit at and people watch. When we came in the guy was blaring an Italian movie super loud. He turned it off briefly while I explained to my dad that you pick a type of pasta, the cut of it and the sauce and then they make it for you homemade. The guy was a foot away the whole time I was asking my dad "do you want this or this?" and from any outsider you could tell my dad is not mentally totally there. Not this guy! After my dad picked everything out and decided, the guy started to explain to my dad everything again. This was frustrating to my dad because he has dementia and he didnt understand why he was picking things out again. When I told him my dad had decided with me already and tried to tell him my dad's order he just kept talking to my dad and totally ignored me, not realizing he has mental problems because he was not paying attention and/or did not care. My dad just randomly guessed whatever the guy said because he gets nervous and just agrees to things when confused. Basically, this guy ignored me and wasnt paying attention and/or didnt care when I stood with my 77 year old dad for 10 minutes trying to pick out food for fun. Oh wait, I was doing it for a reason dude. The guy went in the back and brought out some bread that was obviously old and had just been reheated. It was chewy and hard to eat. The spices were amazing though. He didnt offer to refill the bread. The pasta was small for being $15. I got the peppercorn, fettucine cut with white cream sauce. I could not believe it was $15 for no chicken in it and some watery sauce. I did not even finish it. I wanted to be nice so when he asked how it was I said great. Also, while we were eating the guy turned on the blaring Italian movie again. I am talking loud like this dude is deaf. He also had a computer set up behind us like he was playing on it when there were no customers. I also noticed that the owner only responds on Yelp to positive reviews, even though the negative ones all have in common that the customer service from this man was poor and I think I saw someone else say the cream sauce was watered down. I want to support a local business that is authentic and makes homemade pasta but that guy literally did not care and the food was not good.

Trevi Pasta can be summed up with one word "authentic". The ambiance is quaint and does not allow for a private dining experience. However, the open kitchen and pasta machine display brings your attention toward the food. I had the spinach and ricotta ravioli which was made in house. You can taste the fresh ingredients and authenticity throughout the dish. It cost about $15 for the ravioli which I thought was moderately fair. We also tried the gelato and a cappuccino. Both were cleanly presented and very tasty. I enjoyed Trevi Pasta and felt the entire experience was genuinely Italian.

This restaurant is one of those gems I want to keep all to myself and not post about, but alas...I have to speak about this place. :-) I stopped in tonight for dinner with a friend and I've already decided to bring my boyfriend back tomorrow. If you've ever been to Italy, you know what homemade pasta is like. You know the sauces are not over-saturated with salt and spices like many Italian-American restaurants typically do. This is the real deal...highly recommend this place! We met the owner, Vanessa. She was super friendly and actually brought her machines directly from Italy when she moved here. They've been open for a couple months now and already have their pasta being served in a few local restaurants. You can order to go or dine in, and choose from a variety of fresh-made pastas and sauces. You can even sample them if you like prior to ordering. I had the bolognese sauce with the wider, yellow noodles with fresh slices of parmesan and was in heaven. That's just about all I can say about that. :)

My praises go to this place!! My boyfriend loves pasta but we hardly eat it because nothing lives up to grandmas home made pasta back home. Well look no further, this is AUTHENTIC as it gets!! You watch as they make the pasta fresh, then they literally go back and cook it and serve it. Plenty of options between what type of noodle, style, and sauce. Make sure to save room for dessert too, the tiramisu, gelato and lemon Chello were fantastic! This place is a slice of Italy and grandmas kitchen, I will never eat pasta else where in Orlando!

  • Christine C.

My goodness, this place is everything you ever wanted in an Italian restaurant. Firstly - you will not, I repeat, will not find a better Italian restaurant in Orlando. The owners are from Roma - and will often slip into Italian whilst speaking to you, which adds to the charm. They're always busy because people are finally discovering the worst kept secret on Edgewater Drive - that this place exists and is open for business. This place is for eating, for enjoying, and for experiencing. My other half and I decided for dinner one night, back in June, that the weather was right and we wanted legit Italian. Yelp led us here, and didn't let us down. We started out with the olives, and moved onto ravioli. The boyfriend tried the red pepper marinara and I opted for the four cheese alfredo. It sounds as though this was something you could get anywhere else - let me reassure you that the flavors on this have surpassed anything in my wildest sauce dreams. My boyfriend is a Chef, and just sat, gently scooping the remaining sauce into his mouth and savoring it like a fine wine. The owner checked on us multiple times during the meal and talked shop with us, and we finished the meal with two gelato (which is actually made by the owner's cousin) and strolled back to our cars and sat in rapture before going about the rest of our day. Nothing about this meal was heavy handed and the portions were perfect. I will say that I foresee them not having enough staff during certain days for larger crowds - but, to me, this kind of food is worth waiting for. Our meal ended up being $56 for a cappuccino, appetizer, drinks, raviolis and dessert. If you're looking for a specific time of day or really want to dine in on a Friday or Saturday, I would recommend calling for a reservation - because everyone else close by will wander in for gelato, and then see the pasta...and then end up staying, which is what we did. There's also a wall of dry goods to shop from, and you can have anything as takeaway.

This place is A++ , AMAZING! My GF and I were driving around College Park on a Sunday and felt like some Italian. I pulled up the Yelp App and this place had great reviews... I now know why. It is important to note that this isn't a traditional restaurant but more cafe style. The moment we walked in we were greeted by Angelo who I assume is the owner. He asked if it was our first time (a lost art in the service industry). From there he explained all the pasta options made there. There were about 8 or so... The night was as good as it gets so we decided to sit out front on a little 2 top table. The food came out quickly and we were checked on repeatedly. I will always choose the family owned intimate setting over big biz so perhaps I am a little biased.. but this place nailed it. Lastly.. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and you wouldn't of guessed it. They were happy to have us and didn't start closing up while we were there.. Another point of service that is just lost these days. The food was excellent. We will be back very soon!

After reading the reviews we decided to give this place a try and we are definitely coming back. The pasta is made fresh daily and their menu change everyday (make sure to check their facebook page before visiting). I had the italian herbs pasta with tomato basil sauce and my boyfriend got the same pasta with the amatriciana sauce. Simply delicious and tasted so natural! For dessert we got the limoncello delizia cake it is SO GOOD, so whenevet to see this on the menu you MUST give it a try. We couldn't leave this place before trying their gelatto, which is also homemade and as everything else it is DELISH! Great place to have lunch or dinner or just to get some desserts. The owner is very friendly and she is always there to explain you the menu. The staff is super friendly too! 10/10 for service. Way to go Trevi Pasta! You got new loyal customers and we will be back for more!

Came here on my trip to Orlando. The owner was very friendly. The pasta is homemade and you could taste how fresh it was. I ordered the garlic parsley pasta, pappardelle cut, with tomato basil sauce. The tiramisu was really good too, not too sweet like most places. The shop is small with limited seating.

Good pasta. Good espresso. Good Desserts Great Antipasta. One downside is none of the dishes have any meat or protein in them. One of the sauces had Tuna in it but that didn't sound good.

I think it all depends on what you want. If you want freshly made, flavorful pasta in a cozy environement, yes, you will get it. However, I really appreciate great service and the overall dining experience when I go out. If you crave attention and service, you might be disappointed here. I honestly felt ignored during my visit and wondered if I would ever have the chance to order, let alone receive food. Yes, the food was delicious, however, the lack of service received stands out in my mind more than the food when I think of this place. That is not cool. Perhaps ordering take away may be the option for people like me.

Stopped by this quaint little shop in College Park recently for a quick visit . I don't have anything detailed to write since we didn't actually purchase or dine here. The guys working were super nice though and straight from Italy so if you are looking to brush up on your Italian, this is the place! One of the guys told us about their homemade pasta that they crank out and offered us samples to try. They had a wall of authentic Italian ingredients and condiments for purchase as well as other goodies like prepared sides and salads for purchase in the refrigerated case. There are also several choices of gelato ready for consumption and, of course, housemade pasta! Only giving 4 stars since we didn't actually buy or consume anything but hope to up it to 5 soon! I will be sure to come back when I have something more specific I need to purchase for a recipe.

Trevi Pasta! Why are you so ridiculously delicious?!? Sniffly, tired, and hungry; I really needed the mighty powers of fresh pasta to comfort me out of my slump! Thankfully Trevi Pasta fit the bill. I came here on a Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner. There were people in front of us, but the owner made sure to warmly greet us in Italian. I thought that was a simple, yet thoughtful gesture. Once we reached the front; we were given a quick run down of the daily pastas and how they came in 3 different sizes. For every pasta there was a corresponding sauce that complemented it's flavor. I went with the suggestion of squid ink pasta and tomato basil sauce. My bf ordered this spicy pasta with the bolognese; I think. We also ordered the antipasti appetizer and chose olives, artichokes, and roasted red peppers. After ordering, we sat at a table off to the side hallway. An elder gentlemen served us some ciabatta slices drizzled with olive oil. Out of my appetizer plate options, I enjoyed the artichoke hearts the most. Our pastas were served al dente with shaved cheese on top. Portions were perfectly sized so don't expect heaping amounts of pasta. I can't wait to come back to try the other types of pasta!

"Sauce UP Ciao DOWN When there's nothing LEFT You've done RIGHT" Creamy, Starchy, Delicious Oh my! Of course I'm talking about Trevi with pasta like tasty strings of gold and a sauce that's rich and heavy Start with a fresh and ornate caprese With a wonderful balsamic glaze The cheese is soft, tomatoes are ripe The taste is sure to amaze Choose your pasta and your sauce Like a savory pancetta flavored red With fresh spinach pasta tossed in flour Or a rich creamy white sauce instead Looking for something all will love Try the tasty and filling ravioli With cheese filled squares share if you dare Or guard them like a goalie When you are done its time for the fun To satisfy your sorbet and gelato fix Try Mango, Strawberry, whatever you want Or my favorite pistachio-chocolate mix When one pays this price For quite delicious food They expect someplace nice With a romantic Italian mood The only reason I give it a four Is due to the deli-ish venue The owner is great, and it's run by the family And has a simple, yet varied menu The food is great, so bring your date you have to go and try it It will be good at lunch or late Your taste buds will not deny it

Why are you wasting your time reading this love letter to authentic, fresh, delicious, and greater than life itself Italian cuisine when you should be grabbing the closest person near you, jumping in the car and flooring it until you've reached 2120 Edgewater Drive in College Park. No matter what glowing review anyone puts online nothing will ever compare to experiencing this authentic, fresh, delicious, and greater than life itself Italian cuisine. Over zealous? Perhaps, but tell me how you'd react when you've spent the last two years living in Orlando, having moved from Boston, trying to find authentic, fresh, delicious, and greater than life itself Italian cuisine. So, how did I enjoy it? Well, let's just say the tears started upon the entering and the fresh, auth-...(you get the point) was scented. Vanessa, the radiant owner of Trevi Pasta, welcomed us and explained how everything works. Pick your pasta, pick how you'd like it cut, pick your sauce. The one piece of feedback I am giving; include prices on the daily special board, couldn't see them listen anywhere. After ordering, your experience becomes table service and bread is brought to you. TIP: Along the side of the restaurant are a few tables where you have the opportunity to view into Vanessa's kitchen and see the food being prepared. Everything we ate was delicious and immediately brought me back to my childhood, growing up in Mass, sitting around my Noni's dining room table. It was so authentic that I was anticipating at any moment my Italian grandmother would cone storming into the restaurant giving me a long lecture and asking "When-a you gonna bring-a nice Italian girl home with you and give-a me grandkids?!" Considering my boyfriend and I were stuffing our faces with such riches that afternoon it seems like the joke would be on her. The food is the kind you have to pace yourself through. I did not want to stop eating it, but from the first bite I was struck with a poignant feeling that soon my plate will be empty. Despite being over the moon and stuffed we managed to squeeze in some gelato. The Bacio (nutella) was the perfect ending to this lunch. Rich and creamy with some nuts mixed in it. Trevi Pasta is a bastion of authenticity in a city that often forgets the virtue of this very thing found here in Vanessa's Kitchen.

Owned by a warm truly Italian family, this place is the real deal. Eat fresh pasta and homemade sauce there, or take it home to prepare. They will give you everything you need to make you rethink ever walking into an Olive Garden again. But don't full up on too much pasta, because the gelato is eye ball popping out of your head good. My favorite flavors are Bacio (Nutella) and pistachio. Great food, gracious owners, and the only place in Orlando to get gelato. Add this to your regular stops. Your stomach will say grazie.

Adorable family-owned store. Some of the best pasta I've had in the US and definitely on par with the better places we've been to in Rome. Sadly they didn't have any house wines available, which would have been great with the pasta. The pasta is cut in front on you and I believe the pasta sauces are home-made and rotate daily. Would love to come back and try some of the other pasta/sauce options.

Quick stop when preparing to fly back home after our Disney trip. Amazing Pasta and sauce. Some of the best we have ever had. Service could not have been better either. Will be back whenever in Orlando again.

Great place for an authentic Italian pasta snack! Desserts and pastas are delicious and homemade. High quality ingredients and very friendly service :) They also sell some Italian imported groceries if you want to try to repeat the receipes at home. It's on the expensive side, but worth it. No alcohol sales (yet - they are reportedly working on it).

I was visiting Orlando from St. Paul MN and my sister looked on Yelp for a good restaurant. This place was fabulous. The owner greeted us and explained all of our choices. Home made pasta which she makes herself; sauces made by her mom; and gelato made by her cousin. A real family business. Her love for her work was obvious. Such pride in a great product. It was a fabulous meal. Go here!

A little piece of Italian heaven! Me and my boyfriend went to Italy last summer and when we heard about trevi pasta we had to try it out and the only thing I'm sad about is it took me so long to try it! Since it was our first visit we tried a little of everything and I have to say it was all perfect sharing size. Starting with the antipasta artichokes sun dried tomatoes and a mushroom tapenad. The sun dried tomatoes were some of the best I ever had. Next we had the trevi salad which is mixed greens mozzarella tomatoes and candies walnuts and I think it had a raspberry and balsamic dressing insanely delicious and refreshing. Then we tried two pastas I did a gnocchi with moms pesto which was some of the fluffiest and lightest gnocchi I've ever had, my boyfriend did the lemon pepper pasta with tomato basil and grilled chicken and I was definitely stealing from his plate delicious! Perfect dinner portions too. Now even after all this had to end with gelato which was a perfect ending! So flavorful and delicious. The food was great the service and management was great and friendly and so personable. They definitely made two new loyal customers!

Really enjoyed the homemade pasta and sauces!! Everything we tried was delicious and the employees were very friendly and helpful! My one surprise/slight disappointment when I walked in was that it was not a sit down, table service type restaurant and therefore a little less formal than I was expecting. Overall though, it had wonderful food & I will definitely be going back.

All of the praises sung about Trevi are well-deserved. Caprese appetizer was fabulous. The raviolis were cooked perfectly and filled with delicious ricotta. The white sauce was rich and creamy. The gelato was probably the best I've ever had. So why 4 stars, you ask? Well, even while the food was spectacular and I will certainly be back for more... I can't help but feel a little shortchanged by Trevi. My plate came with 8 raviolis (yes, I counted) and cost somewhere between $15-$16. The caprese appetizer was $9-$10 if I remember correctly. The small gelato must've been $4-$5. Our total bill rounded down to $50 (before tip) which included two entrees, two gelatos, and one appetizer. I think most people (myself included) would consider this an acceptable price for a 2-person dinner, especially such a tasty one, but I still found myself feeling surprised at the cost. I suspect this was due to the environment and overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It was very casual dining and placing my order at the counter made it feel more like a deli than a restaurant. At that price point I think I just expected a little more ambiance. I could enjoy a comparably exquisite meal for around the same price at Prato, which has an undeniably better setting. Nonetheless I greatly enjoyed what Trevi had to offer and will return. Now that I know what I'm in for, it will be easier to manage my expectations about the atmosphere.

This was the second visit and it was as good as I remembered. I had spicy tomato pasta with a basil red sauce and grilled chicken. It was awesome! There is nothing better than a simple offering of fantastic food and this establishment delivers. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

I feel that a lot of the other reviews are saying what I want to say, so I just want to further reinforce how amazing this place is. I had the Italian herb pasta with the Amatriciana sauce. It was perfection. The pasta was perfect, the sauce was perfect, everything was perfect. The owner was so wonderful and helped us out with suggestions on what to order also, just ask if you're not sure! We followed it up with Tiramisu and the Limoncello Cake. Not going to lie, I had a moment with the cake. It was seriously mind blowing. It's hard to describe. It's subtle but everything about it is just right. I highly recommend this place, it is amazing! I'll definitely be back!

FRESH homemade pasta. That's all you need to know. The ambiance feels like an ice-cream shoppe, which I don't care for, and if you come in on a Friday or Saturday evening, don't expect to be in-and-out in less than an hour. BUT we stumbled in on a Tuesday night, got seated right away, had two amazing plates of HEAPING pasta, and managed to squeeze in room for handmade desserts. This is a great go-to spot -- the owner even told us that they serve uncooked pasta to go! What a fantastic option to create your own homecooked meal, for those nights when eating out isn't an option?!

Unbelievably good, authentic Italian dishes! Owner is really nice and personable. The caprece salad is the best I've ever had. Though I'm not a fan, they do serve tuna sauce.

Went to this restaurant expecting an amazing meal. Overall, it definitively was not. We came in between lunch and dinner. We were the only ones eating in, and it took 1 hour for us to get the pasta. They checked in occasionally and apologized once or twice for the wait but were not very considerate of how long it actually took. They did not offer to comp or do anything to make up for the wait. The owners said they turn the water down after the lunch rush and it took a while to heat back up. We literally could have taken the pasta home, across town, and cooked it ourself in this amount of time. But with the wait aside, I do believe that it normally does not take near that long so I will now focus on the food. The antipasta trio (2/5) -Pretty small portion and rather bland. Did not taste homemade. Pasta (3/5) After our antipasta we waited a solid hour for the pasta to come out. (We got the spicy garlic with Bolognese and spinach/ricotta ravioli with white Portobello mushroom sauce.) -The ravioli itself had mild flavors and sauce followed suite. A nice dish but not outstanding in the least. - The spicy garlic noodles had some heat which was nice but nothing over and above adding red pepper to the dish. I would pretty confidently say that these noodles were overcooked as well. Very soft. The Bolognese had a very light sprinkling of meat and no flavors wowed me. Yes, it was nice getting to see them roll the pasta and cut it fresh (not too many places make fresh pasta in orlando) but as a whole these dishes were good, not great. If I was to go back I would just pick up pasta to go and prepare it myself at home. Dessert: I skipped the gelato becauae it appeared to not be homemade (it was in plastic labelled company containers next to the display.) 4/5 Tiramisu- This was pretty good; smooth, light and fluffy with really strong espresso flavors coming through . Service- 2/5 I just didn't get that friendly of feel from the place and when you combine that with the rediculous wait and no compensation, it was not a good experience. I have to agree somewhat with the other reviewer about feeling ignored because I was left with not feeling a personal connection the restaurant or the owners.

The owner just moved from Italy and makes every strand of pasta fresh to order. Easily the best best Italian food in Orlando. I loved the spicy tomato pasta and had a very nice mushroom cream sauce with it. Don't skip the gelato either. Authentic flavors all around. They also serve pasta by the pound to take home - highly recommend this spot.

I was so excited that this place was delicious so my first review read: "THE BEST pasta in all of Orlando! maybe further range than that". However, I refuse to give my business/money to anyone that is so disrespectful to another local competitor. I will never step foot in Trevi Pasta again after what I learned that the owner did down the street.

It took many years but the owners at Trevi Pasta have perfected seamless portal technology and implemented it into their Pasta Shop. In reality I'm one of the few that has realized that the shop actually resides somewhere in Napoli, Italy. You see as you open the door, you are actually stepping through a micro tear in the space time continuum and entering a shop in Italy. To make sure that their patrons do not get frightened they have also deployed some sort of unknown 8k resolution microthin screen placed over the windows that mirrors in real time the happenings on Edgewater drive. How am I certain of this? For one the pasta made here is ridiculously fresh, and everyone tries to speak to you in Italian-English hybrid. On the counter are the possible pastas you can order and then you can tell them how you want it cut up. Then the craziest thing they do next is they actually take the raw pasta and run it through a machine right there in front of you! You also get to pick the sauce that it goes with, and when you taste it you will know it was made by the Italian Auntie you wished you had growing up. . In addition to pasta to eat in, they also have stuff you can buy for home use later. I'm suprised I didn't have to declare it on my way out. (again, benefits of portal technology). Also before you leave make sure you get their Gelato! It is so succulent sweet and smooth and it leaves your tongue feeling like Andrea Bocelli has been whispering sweet nothings into your ear for the last half hour. PS Being a restaurant that is actually physically located in Italy I'm surprised that they accept US currency instead of EUROS PPS Check the facebook page to see what they have for today! facebook.com/TreviPastaL…

This place is incredible and a true reminder of why I use Yelp to find places that I normally wouldn't even know about. The owners are fresh off the boat from Italy and you can taste the authenticity in their food. They switch up the menu everyday and make their pasta every morning. This is a cozy little spot on Edgewater and perfect for an intimate dinner with friends or your significant. They have an variety of pastas to choose from and normally at least 3 types of sauce to pick from. They also have caprese salad, pasta salad, fresh olives, etc. in the left case. The case on the right is filled with AMAZING gelato flavors to choose from. For dinner, I went simple. I had the potato gnocchi in a tomato basil red sauce with shaved Parmesan cheese and my mind was absolutely blown away. The gnocchi were perfectly el denté and literally melted in my mouth! I haven't had amazing pasta like that since I lived in Italy two summers ago. My husband had the spicy tomato pasta with a mushroom sauce and was equally impressed. I am so sad that we are moving at the end of the week (to California) because this I would definitely be a regular that would come several times a week. Oh, and the gelato? It was heavenly! I had the strawberry chocolate chip and my husband had vanilla and Baccio, which were both delicious. The flavors ranged from classic pistachio to caramel sea salt to coconut. Everyone can find something that entices their sweet tooth! All in all, this little spot is why Yelp was created. I never would have found it on my own, so I am SO happy that I searched on Yelp and tried it out!! 5 Stars!!!

Amazing, fresh pasta. Great customer service. I just came back from Rome and I missed the authentic taste. They make the pasta right in front of you. This place definitively serves an amazing, real taste of Italy. Thank you, Trevi Pasta!

Oh my god. Thats all I can say. The gnocchi are so soft and pillowy and not completely dense that they fall to your feet. Little tiny pillows of heaven. The red pesto sauce was incredible. I absolutely love this place. My Rhode Island Federal Hill home away from home. Just missing the fellas. Located in a perfect place. Great little date place on a nice Sunday afternoon. The owners were phenomenal and very polite. Notevole.

I can walk here. It takes five minutes from the time I place my order to when I can walk in and pick it up. The pastas and sauces are incredible. It's small and cute but you can't normally find a table so I only do call ahead. Their new BPA free Togo boxes are awesome too! This place has owners and managers who genuinely care about the service and its customers. Oh and their gelato is Amazing. Especially the strawberry chip!

I tried this restaurant based on the great yelp reviews. My husband and I were greeted warmly by Angelo who pointed to the white board . He also explained the concept. Luckily we were the only people there it I would have felt rushed. We decided on the garlic pasta with bolognese sauce to share and we split a caprese salad. Also two tap waters. Like others have mentioned the pasta was made fresh right there. The salad was very fresh - the best quality tomatoes and cheese. The pasta dish was tasty too although I felt it was slightly under cooked. I've had fresh pasta before and usually it's soft. I guess I was expecting an enlightened mind altering experience as I've read in many of the other previous reviews. We finished it off with a small pistachio gelato. The bill was $29 which I thought was pricey considering you're kind of sitting in a deli atmosphere it's not a real restaurant in fact the first thing the owner had said was do you want this to go. I will definitely be back at some point but won't rush. For this price point I would like a more relaxed atmosphere. It was very clean which I appreciated. You can also watch them make the fresh pasta in the kitchen. I think when I go back I'll be getting the fresh pasta to go to make it at home! They still deserve 4 stars for their unique (to the US) concept.

Awesome sweet staff! Menu changes so you're always in for a nice surprise. Pasta is cut right in front of you! Talk about freshness! I also tried their gelato. Great texture I just think I would've liked a different flavor better. Overall great little spot!

Delicious homemade pasta topped with homemade sauces that are obviously made with the finest ingredients. I found Trevi Pasta on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! I had the bolognese over tagliatelle, the sauce wasn't too heavy like bolognese can sometimes be, it was a perfect balance of flavor. My husband had truffle ravioli, it was amazing! We also tried the gelato and true to form the excellent ingredients and artisan skills of the owner come shinning through in delicious harmony. The restaurant itself is small, clean and unassuming. It looks more like a gelato bar than a restaurant but give it a try, you'll be delighted you did!

My boyfriend, coworkers and I stopped by Trevi Pasta on our trip to Orlando. And we were all VERY happy with our decision!!! The food was AMAZING and impressed all of my coworkers and even my boyfriend who was born and raised in Italy. That says a lot, because he is very picky about Italian food. We got the antipasti, variety of pasta plates (favorite was the mushroom ravioli) and gelato. The gelato was the perfect finish to our meal! I would definitely recommend the restaurant for great food, a unique experience and great service in a casual environment. The owner was very friendly and welcoming! We cannot wait to come back.

My favorite place for fresh pasta, gelato, coffee and great service! Everything I've had there is delicious and when my sister is in town its the first stop. I feel like a friend of the family when I go in there and always leave full and happy. It's a must in town!

This place was such a great find! Really quaint family owned little gem in College Park. The owner greeted us and told us she makes the pasta fresh daily and one of her relatives makes the gelato. You get to pick from a variety of pastas and sauces made fresh that day. They had some unique options like Squid Ink pasta. I had the spinach ravioli with four cheese sauce and complimentary bread followed by strawberry and pistachio gelato. Can't decide which I liked more. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for something more refreshing than another chain restaurant.

This place is authentic! The gelato is so delicious I see no need to have it anywhere else. I had chocolate gelato with mixed berry gelato. The gelato had real berries and the chocolate was legit. The pasta is made from scratch there and I will be trying that next!

I stopped in for lunch this afternoon. This is as authentic an Italian cafe as you are going to find in the Orlando area. I began my meal with the fresh mozzarella appetizer. About a dozen mini mozzarella balls simply accentuated with a balsamic glaze to the side of the plate was a perfect beginning to my meal. My Italian Turkey, arugula, tomatoe pressed sandwich arrived a short time later. It was fresh and delicio us. I finished my meal with Pistachio gelato house made on premise. So good! Vanessa is the owner and was a warm and inviting host.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
