The food is ok but nothing to get excited about. The prices are high for the portion sizes. The staff is friendly and food is done quickly. If you are staying at the resort you should try one of the many restaurants on site.

Surprisingly good and well balanced flat bread sandwich. Grabbed a late lunch here. It was empty, but was met by a pleasant and professional server. The Glenda Chicken sandwich was served hot and fresh and was excellent. My only complaint was that it was on the small side. Added a tasty bowl of white bean chili (see pic of both). Again, very good, but wished I'd had a little more. Worth a try...

Great service with a smile, promising food with the potential to be really good. Unlike others, I thought the portions were acceptable for the price. Started with the chicken and white bean chili - it was made with green chiles (not tomato-based) and was quite delicious - except the tortilla strips on the top were completely stale - sadness. Then I had a half portion of the Tobias salad, which was huge. I asked them to substitute the Gorgonzola vinaigrette for champagne vinaigrette since I hate blue cheese, and they were very accommodating. The salad was a nice mixture of tastes and textures. Too bad they left all the stems on, which made it very difficult to eat without ending up with leaves hanging out of my mouth half the time. For dessert, I wanted to try their strawberry cheesecake shortbread but they were out so I had to settle for the s'mores. The torched marshmallows on the very thin crispy flatbread were fabulous but I'm not a huge fan of Oreo cookies or whatever they used for the crumbly topping - it would have been so much better with melted chocolate.

Portions are small for the price you pay, but if you're staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek, you are the resort's captive audience since there isn't a whole lot around the property. If the portion were normal sized (not micro), the value and quality would match. I ate one of the flatbreads and was still a little hungry afterwards. I knew I had a big dinner taking place that night so I was OK by that. Otherwise, I might have been a little peeved. Service was top notch. My iced tea was always full, and our waitress was always visible, clearly explained the menu, and generally had a great personality. If you enter Rosen Shingle Creek, turn right, and the restaurant will be on the right had side across from Headwaters Lounge and next to Mi Case Mexican.

I decided to try this place because I was eating a late lunch and wanted something light. I definitely found something light, because there wasn't much bread to the flat-bread pizza. When they said, flat, they really meant it, toppings included. The flatbread was about the thickness of a thin carboard; it was topped with one layer of turkey breast, melted brie, sliced pears and a balsamic drizzle. I found the toppings to be a little on the skimpy side; the sandwich place downstairs gives you 1 lb of sliced deli meat in a sandwich, so if you're looking for something more filling, I would go there. I wasn't expecting anything that was going to blow my mind, but I came hungry, left hungry, and probably wouldn't go back.

It's grub quality. I had the Mediterranean salad with chicken breast added. The lettuce was crispy, but not for long as it was totally drenched in salad dressing. Definitely recommend ordering it on the side. The chicken breast wasn't a whole breast, but the same rip off you get at many places where they shave three slices off a regular sized breast. Ordering double meat will probably get you the whole breast you'd actually expect.

My three year old really enjoyed the 4 cheese flat so much that we got it for her 2 nights in a row.
