We stayed at the Grand Bohemian and had dinner and breakfast here as it was included in our rate, and it was GOOD. For dinner: I had the NY Strip steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus and I also had a Caesar Salad. I'm not a salad fanatic... I basically just ordered it so I could feel better about later consuming something that would turn my blood into gelatin, however, this was a great and fresh salad. I was a happy camper. The steak entree was also delicious, a nice cut cooked medium, tons of flavor. We skipped on dessert as nothing they had sounded that incredible, but everything else was still good. For breakfast: I had "the complete breakfast" and a side of grits. Scrabled eggs, bacon, sausage... all the good stuff... and grits. I accent the grits because I've lived in the south all of my life, and had a lot of grits, and I don't know what they did to these grits, but they were fantastic. So I recommend giving those a try. Both trips were good. I would do it again.

Brunch may seem expensive but is worth every dollar. It's amazing. Just go. You won't regret it.

What a wonderful hotel! A perfect walk to the Amway Center. I was wondering about walking in the downtown city to the Cher concert at Amway, but the street was filled with everyone doing the same thing. Church Street was open with bars and food venues and it was a nice short walk, The restaurant in the hotel was excellent, service was great and the hotel room was very clean, welcoming and up to date. Comfy bed. I can't wait to go back.

Great Ambience!!! Have been here several times and we always sit at the bar, it's a really nice one!! Have ordered many different appetizers and they were all very tasty and the bartenders always whip up great drinks!! Have been here on the weekends and they have had great live music! Really nice hotel, bar and restaurant!!! Beautiful rooms!! Nicest hotel in downtown Orlando!! Will not disappoint!!!

Came on the last day of Magical Dining Month. Had heard nothing but good/great things, but were severely disappointed. She had salmon which tasted like the ingredients were picked at random - the tastes did not work well together - and I had a bland, uninspired steak. Crab cakes as appetizers were dry and only ok. Star rating is so low because expectations were so high.

I will start out with the positives about the Boheme. The food is fantastic. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is wonderful. However, the service is so bad I would not consider going back until they hire a new wait staff. The restaurant is considered fine dining, but the wait staff believes you are being graced with their presence. The service was embarrassing! After being pushed and declining to buy bottles of wine that we did not want, apparently our service ended. Not once did our waiter ask us how are food was, refill any water glasses, ask if we needed another drink, or clear any appetizer or dinner plates. (mind you that the restaurant was pretty slow). Personally, I feel their corporate headquarters needs to know how appalling their service is and hire a new staff.

Kessler properties do a great job of creating memorable dining experiences that are unique to their locales. The Boheme succeeds at blending the romance of the Grand Bohemian's downtown location with an intimate, arty and jazzy vibe that is truly immersive. I've eaten here twice. The first time was a business lunch, and we were booked in the restaurant's private "wine room". (I'm not sure why they call it that, as the only wine in the joint is whatever the server's pouring into your glass.) Regardless, the privacy was great for our function, and overall the service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the tomato and artichoke soup (fantastic!) and the meatloaf (good, not great). The second visit was for breakfast, and this time I ordered the American breakfast. The red bliss potatoes lived up to their name, and the portion sizes for everything were surprisingly large given the Boheme's upscale pretensions. Nothing really knocked my socks off, but if you're looking for a semi-pricey breakfast downtown to impress your clients, this is one of the better ones. The restaurant also hosts a pricey Sunday brunch. Atmosphere is what the Boheme does best, and you'll be surrounded by walls and walls of art from the Kessler collection. The service is generally a notch higher than average, and valet is complimentary for Boheme diners. If you're looking for a good spot for a power lunch or a romantic dinner for two, the Boheme is a reliable choice.

I went here twice once for my hubbies birthday for breakfast was not impressed I truly believe that the better your server the better your experience, service is the key so my hubby took me for dinner our server was Aaron who was amazing he knew the menu like the back of his hand and everything he suggested was thru the roof! The price is tolerable and the food like I said thru the roof! They change the look of the hotel quite often so you wont get the same look, I was told by the employees

4.5/5 stars for The Boheme... Finally, after much anticipation we tried The Boheme! The restaurant and hotel are both stunning and the dining room was very quiet until the live music started in the lobby at around 8pm. Your only option for parking is validated valet off of Jackson Street. Apparently the menu changed about 3 months ago so many of the dishes I'd read reviews about were no longer available. Unfortunately that meant no lobster bisque. We chose the calamari instead and wow, were we impressed! By far the best part of the meal, the calamari was cooked perfectly, it almost melted in my mouth. It was drizzled with a sweet curry sauce, olives, tomatoes and asiago cheese. Absolutely divine and a must try. Since we couldn't decide on one thing for an entree we chose to split two offerings into a surf and turf, blue cheese topped filet and cilantro truffle oil sea bass. Next time I would skip the steak, it was a tad dry and bland, you can do much better a few steps away at Kres. The fish was wonderful though, light and buttery with the perfect crispiness on the outside. The steak came with a potato pancake which was WAY over peppered. The tomato and romano risotto was slightly disappointing. For dessert I ordered the German Apple Pie and although good, didn't knock my socks off. I also sampled the mascarpone cheesecake and blackberry creme brulee, and I must say out of the three I preferred the creme brulee. The service was prompt but felt a little clumsy. The Boheme has something I'd never seen before, menus that are back lit and light up when you open them. Overall a top notch dining experience.

OK, so we're on this pretty tight budget but decide to splurge on a decadent dinner last night with a couple that Connie knows from Fifth Third. There is this "Magical Dining Month" promotion where you pay $30 per head for a three course meal at a fancy restaurant of your choosing (there are dozens on the list) and for whatever reason we ended up at The Boheme downtown. We arrive and order cocktails in the bar - because our "cheap" table is not yet ready, despite our reservation. Apparently you normally pay way more than $30 per person to dine at this place, and they're not amused and certainly not impressed by us - at least that's my perception at this point. Eventually we are seated. This is where it gets really special. It's so f-ing loud that I wish I had brought a decibel meter because I bet it would have broken Guinness records. Ear plugs were in order. To their credit, the Lobster & Crab Bisque was very good, but things were about to rapidly go downhill food-wise. Our main course "Magical" dinner menu is limited to the worst crap they have to offer. Frankly, Golden Corral would have run laps around this place. The main course choices are 1.) STEAK AU POIVRE FRANCAIS (a fancy way of saying "shitty cut of steak" 2.) Way overcooked SALMON and 3.) Lamb Shank (trust me, it's baaaaaaad). Dessert was unremarkable, and also limited to 2 choices (neither of which is worth mentioning). OH - DID I MENTION IT WAS LOUD? Well, anyway. This one confirms what we pretty much already knew about dining out at trendy restaurants anymore. Over-priced, over-hyped bullshit, and just plain not worth it. I had a similar experience in D.C. last summer, where I got dragged out to some supposedly swanky Capitol Hill joint which was obnoxiously loud and stupidly expensive. Most there were primarily concerned about being seen. All I saw were a bunch of asses. Bottom line (pun ended) - don't waste your time or money on The Boheme. It was less than "Magical".

Been to this place on several occasions, for both lunch and dinner, and always enjoyed it. The menu is always in flux (like most fine dining restaurants) and the selections are unique and well made. One of the best attributes of this place is the hotel it is located in. Not quite sure how to describe the vibe in here, but it is unique. This is the best French-style fine dining place in downtown IMO

This is such a great spot located in downtown Orlando across from City Hall. Artsy decor and friendly service. Had the Calamari for starter (I wish I'd asked if they had one that wasn't battered and deep fried, it was so heavy and chewy), so not my favorite. For my entree' I had the Sea Bass which was cooked to perfection, for desert, the Apple Tart w/Vanilla Bean ice cream was excellent! Overall, I was satisfied but some attention could be paid to service as it was a bit slow and out of order, (ordered food before we had our wine)! It's a cozy place but tends to be on the noisy side. Overall, a nice restaurant, a bit overpriced but I'll be back.

I had dinner here one night with my girlfriend and we had a great experience. Everything from the drinks to the dessert were fantastic. We both had filets and both were cooked perfectly. The lighting, live music and glowing menus made for a romantic evening. I would reccomend this place to everyone!

I went to Sunday brunch and thats where its at! It's a buffett brunch, so unlimited amazing food. They had salad with all the toppings, fresh tomato and mozzarella, cold salads, cheese plates, waffles, fruit, breakfast breads/danishs,breakfast meats, an omelet bar to make your own omelets and eggs, craving station wtih beef, pork, crab legs, shrimp, green beans, orzo, dessert..I could clearly go on and on! Also unlimited champagne, not sweet either! I would go to Sunday brunch over dinner, but I still enjoyed dinner when I went.

One of our family members was celebrating a birthday so we all chose to meet up at The Boheme for Brunch. The others arrived first but when we arrived, the valet quickly took care of the car and off we went to meet up with the others. As we made our way to our seats we walked past the brunch buffet and it was absolutely stunning. There was a pianist playing in the center of the room and it really made for a great brunch setting. As we walked to our table, we took in the artwork on the walls. The dining room is picturesque. We joined everybody and our server came and gave us the heads up on their brunch offerings and options. Once he took everybody's drink order, we all headed to the buffet area. I elected to try a small portion of every item being offered. It took several trips. The Oysters and desserts were the only items I was unable to work my way through because I ran out of room. We also tried the lamb that was offered but not at the buffet and finished off the meal with Bananas Foster. Valet Service - 5 Presentation - 5 Server - 5 Omelet Station - 5 Prime Rib Station - 5 Waffle Station - 5 Buffet offerings - 5 Lamb Chop - 5 After our meal we returned to the valet service to get the car and it turned out that one of the valets recognized me from Yelp. It is always great to run into a fellow Yelper while out and about. I requested that the young man that parked my car retrieve it for me and they were glad to accommodate me. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we were treated like royalty and those are the dining experiences you always remember. If you want a brunch experience you will never forget, The Boheme will do just that. My only regret is not being able to try one of the mimosas that the ladies were raving about.

I visited for the first time this week for Magical Dining Month. Regular menu is a little pricey but $33 for a three course meal here was a no brainer! The decor in the restaurant is impeccable. Located inside the Grand Bohemian hotel, everything from the piano player in the lobby to the dining room was perfect. We were with a large group and sat in the wine room, which was a private mirrored room with a large table and seats for ~14 people. The private room definitely made the experience. Now on to the food: my first course was the crab cakes which were AWESOME. Probably the best crab cakes I've had ever. Second course was the filet of beef and I licked my plate clean. Third course was the coffee cheesecake which was really good. Other people around me got the lava cake which they said was amazing. All in all, great food and amazing classy restaurant. Service was slow but we had a pretty large group so it was A-OK!

This is going to sound lame but...What a lovely brunch! It was a nice change of atmosphere from the typical "Sunday Funday" get drunk AYCD champagne vibe you find closer to downtown. We really enjoyed ourselves. Service- awesome, attentive but not too in your face, champagne glasses were never empty Food- set price includes a buffet with cheese, dessert, eggs, sausage, hummus, bacon, salmon toast, carving station, crab cake station, omelets and waffles. There is also a shellfish station with oysters, shrimp, and crab legs. On top of this display you can order off the a la carte menu including eggs benedict, salads, soups, there was even a shrimp dish with orzo and bananas foster Beverage- set price includes bottomless mimosas with quality champage, not the cheap sparkling wine at most AYCD brunches; hands out awesome Vibe- jazz music playing, quant, cool tables, loved the art work, and free valet Bottom line- it's hard to impress my dad and he can't wait to come back!

The Boheme was on point for the food during Magical Dining Month but the parking cost situation was unexpected. Let's talk about the food and the experience first. Four of us dined here for Magical Dining on a rainy Friday night. We had reservations but parked valet to avoid walking in the rain. I mentioned that we were dining in the hotel to the attendant, who informed me that the valet ticket could be validated at the restaurant. We arrived to the restaurant early and took our time to walk around to browse the art in the hotel. The hostess sat us at a table close to the check-in area and not even two minutes later, we were re-seated to another area in a corner. Not a big deal, and the seats were actually more comfortable. The server got us menus and drinks right away. We ordered a $33 bottle of wine offered specially for Magical Dining. The guys ordered some beers and we put in our orders for our three-course meal. The crab cakes and Minorcan clam chowder were ordered in pairs and we all enjoyed these apps. There was tons of crab in the crab cakes and the chowder had a nice flavor. We also copied each other on the main course. Two of us chose the beef tenderloin and the other two the pork tenderloin. The sides were more enjoyable with the beef - pureed butternut squash and Brussels sprouts versus lentils with carrots (which were slightly undercooked for me). The pork was in no way a bad dish, but we all mutually agreed that the beef was overall a better dish. For dessert, we had expresso cheesecake and Nutella lava cake. The Nutella lava cake disappeared from my plate with no trace of evidence left behind. Our server was overly friendly and the service was a little slow at times getting the dishes out. My husband told me later that he started getting dripped on by the air conditioning above him about halfway through the night. He didn't want to mention anything because he is not a big complainer. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was good for a busy night. We returned to the valet parking and discovered that the cost was $15 for just over 3 hours. I mentioned to the attendant that we had dined at the restaurant, but according to the attendant, that was the reduced price! The cost for under 3 hours was slightly lower, but I was bothered by the fact that we were charged at all, especially when we had dropped a large amount of money on an expensive dinner experience. I will take part of the blame as I should have asked what the term validated really means (it does not always mean free). My husband quickly paid and tipped the attendant so that I didn't make a scene in front of everyone. They asked if we wanted bottled water for the ride and my answer was yes absolutely. Would I eat here again? Yes, but I would avoid the parking. I am putting this in my review for the benefit of everyone to go park in a nearby garage or metered parking and have an extra drink because you just saved the money by doing so!

Amazing atmosphere, even more amazing food! I've been to the Boheme a few times, and the food is always stellar. I went again last night for Magical Dining and they did not disappoint! The crab cakes are phenomenal and the steak was incredibly tender. We will definitely be going again.

I seriously just had some of the best food I've ever eaten. I am a foodie, so to walk away with belly so happy. Makes me happy. Our waitress Xiomara was on top of her game. The hostess was nice. Manager checked up on us twice. THE FOOD. Filet Mignon and scallops were perfectly prepared. Crab cake was fantastic. Crack cake! I got another to go. Smoking good ;-) ! They have a three course menu for 49 bucks. It is a full on delicious top notch meal. I will completely recommend to anyone. The only con I would say is they needed bread or rolls. Does not need to be complimentary but we felt it was just lacking that joyful gluten carbload touch to bring the meal to a high crescendo that would make it one of our favorites.

Amazing food, simply done. This was the best experience I have had so far on my magical dining month. The service was incredibly fast and extremely polite. The food started with complimentary bread that was warm and fresh. The appetizer I chose was the clam chowder. It was one of the best chowders I have ever tasted. The smooth, fresh clams were bathing in a decadent red pepper chowder that had all the subtlety of a well aged glass of pinot noir. The main course was a perfectly cooked, incredibly seasoned beef filet with a butternut squash puree that I can only describe as tantalizing as the first time I heard Hector Belioze's Symphony Fantastique. For dessert, I chose the nutella lava cake and I was very happy with my choice to include the ice cream. The cake was very soft and moist and the chocolate and nutella mixed very well together. I might have thought the dish was a bit too rich if it wasn't for the ice cream that added a creamy texture to balance the flavor quite well. Overall, an amazing experience that I was fortunate to have and can not wait to experience again soon.

So New Years Day 2015... all I wanted to do was eat and crawl back into bed....thankfully (not) my libation loving friends insisted we include more alcohol in our breakfast plans and we ended up at The Boheme. Not complaining though as one of those lovely friends footed the bill for us all. Seems like The Boheme does a fantastic weekend brunch, and since it was New Years Day (a Thursday) they rolled it out ahead of the weekend. For $45 a person with unlimited mimosas, a raw bar (oysters, shrimp and crab), omelet station, waffle station, carving station, breakfast staples, salad bar, dessert station andddd a menu with several other items you can order this is a GREAT deal! So yes, I'm easily coerced and despite having a 3 hour drive back to Lauderdale I took part in some mimosas lol. We sat in the bar area of the restaurant and Chad did an amazing job keeping the glasses refilled and taking our orders for food off the menu. I'm a weirdo who thinks oysters are great hangover food, so I stuck mostly to them. But also indulged in the breakfast items such as the potatoes and the English sausages!! The "action station" which I assume changes frequently was sauteing shrimp with an orange chimichurri sauce which also caught my attention. For whatever reason none of the menu items such as eggs benedict and the like caught my eye, so I stuck with the buffet side of things. If I was in the Downtown area of Orlando again I would definitely be back for brunch here!! PRO TIP - Check out the wine room by the bathrooms in the lobby!!

I met a friend who was a guest at the hotel here for dinner. It was an overall great experience. I valet parked at the hotel. FYI: if you are unfamiliar with the area, as I was, map your way to the hotel to get appropriate directions. Mapping to the restaurant spits you out a bit too far up for parking. This service was $6 with validation. Because of my parking trouble, I was about five minutes late for my reservation. The hostess was not pleased, despite there being only two or three tables seated. This was the only rudeness we experienced. Our waitress was fabulous. She was prompt, helpful, aware, and not hovery, even though we took our time ordering. My friend had a prosecco and I had a malbec while we caught up and decided on our meals. Both were lovely, but this is where it got good. I was jonesing for something to kick me in the back of the throat. The waitress and i chatted about what I was looking for, she conferenced with the bartender and arrived with a phenomenal muddled jalapeño and citrus martini that was to die for. I had two. If I had been staying there, my friend may have had to roll me upstairs on a baggage cart. We called our creation a chulita and I fully intend to go back for another! We each ordered from the Prix fixe menu. Both had the crab cakes-- all crab, y'all! I had the salmon. It was as tender as butter. My friend has the filet mignon which was perfectly prepared. For dessert, I had the peach crumble and she had the crack pie. Both very yummy! I cannot wait to bring my hubby back for a date night!

Wow, this place has improved SO MUCH. I'd been several times before, and didn't even figure it was worth writing a review, but on this visit everything has changed. Start with a flat bread. It's pizza sized and shaped, super thing, and the margarita version has perfect tomato sauce and fresh basil. In short, it's a pizza from Italy. Salads are inexpensive and very generous. I really enjoyed my kale and apple salad, and the Caesar was good, too. Many of the entrees are steaks, but I opted for something unusual, the Alsatian Charcoute, which was a bowl with sauerkraut, potatoes, wonderful German-syle sausage, and house smoked German bacon. It was wonderful. If that's not your style, don't worry, there's nothing else on the menu like it. But if you occasionally enjoy German food, this was the best I've had outside of Germany. The menu is very diverse, with smoked salmon, and escargot appetizers as well. There's also a three course menu that is fairly priced. Now that the new performing arts center is right across the street, I'm sure we'll be frequent visitors.

I'll keep my review short. I've traveled to DE and MD for years, I thought I had the best crab cakes money could buy. I was wrong... The Boheme, hands down, have the best crab cakes I've ever eaten. You can't go wrong with anything else on the menu, but you must try the crab cakes. I will never steer a Yelper wrong. You can thank me later. The service here is also top notch, the chef even came out to introduce himself after learning that I'm a fan of his crab cakes. Cheers...

Finding the right words to describe my absolute delight at everything I've enjoyed here is almost impossible. When I got the final dates for our January meeting, I immediately popped onto OpenTable and made reservations. I couldn't miss another shot at this place. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be swanky. From the moment you walk in, there is a rich, sexy red haze that hovers about. It gives me images of flapper girls and Sinatra-types. Is this the intention? Heck if I know. All I know is I love it. Giovanni took care of our party of 3. It was a Monday night and fairly early in the evening, so the place wasn't exactly packed. I remembered the service was good during our first visit. Giovanni was just plain excellent. He really took it to another notch. What did he do? He listened. His timing was superb. He was incredibly gracious and professional. Now let's get to the food. Ah! Ever have one of those meals that make you so happy when you're finished you seriously contemplate doing it all over again? Yeah. That happens here. We started with the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Lump Crab Cake, and Escargot de Bourgogne. All were excellent, but the carpaccio was again simply STUNNING. The moment it starts to melt on your tongue, your eyes will roll back and the table conversation will drift to just noise. It's beautiful. Instead of sea bass this time around, I opted for steak. We added mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for the table to split. They were delightful, but completely overshadowed by the steaks. The 28 day dry aged New York strip was incredible. One of my dining companions had the 14-21 day dry aged filet and proclaimed it the best filet he's ever had. I should note that he is a VERY respectable source when it comes to food. Well-traveled and a very experienced restaurant guest, his proclamation raised my eyebrow. Bottom line - the steaks are a melt-in-your-mouth brilliant work of art. For the life of me, I can't remember the exact name of our dessert choice. It was a newer item on the menu, some sort of bread pudding with cream. It was lovely, but in no way could compete with the carpaccio or steak. If I could do it all over again, I would probably try the Nutella Lava Cake instead. And I will do it all over again. As soon as humanly possible.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a stay at the Grand Bohemian Orlando, and had dinner at The Boheme. Our waiter, Samuel was excellent. He was personable and made excellent recommendations. We had the beef carpaccio, and heirloom and burrata to start. Both were great! The carpaccio is served with toasted capers which adds a nice crunch. My husband had the filet which he enjoyed and I chose the Sea Bass as an entree. The bass had a crunchy outside and savory inside and was excellent. Overall great experience.

Fantastic dinner tonight at The Boheme. My waiter, Samuel, was exceptional and the food was delicious! The squash soup is incredible! I also had the filet with brussel sprouts and more squash. I couldn't finish it all but HAD to still try the "crack pie" and boy was that worth it! There are leftovers for later too. Highly recommend!!

Enjoying the Mothers Day Brunch which is super classy and delicious. Complimentary and bottom- less mimosas with a Bloody Mary Bar to boot. Multiple rooms, each with a different theme and cooked to order goodie. A wide variety of deliciousness, great service and live music. I feel so treasured!

What a lovely restaurant/bar/lounge for a romantic night out. First thing I noticed about the atmosphere was the touch of red which gave a nice pop of color. Music filled the air by the pianist in the lounge as we walked through to get to the restaurant. My first time here and came for Magical Dining. Our waiter was Samuel who was friendly and did an awesome job with recommendations. The crab cake was magnificient! Yummm! It definitely satisfied my palate. For the entree I was originally going to order the NY strip steak but he recommended the lamb T- bone which he said was really good and doesn't have that gamey taste that I was hesitant about. Boy, was he right it was really juicy and smoked to just the right amount. The Mediterranean salmon was alright, nothing special. We ended the dining experience with peach and raspberry gelato and Nutella lava cake with a side of vanilla bean ice cream. Both were decent and satisfying. Overall, I would rate the ambience 5 stars, waiter/service 5 stars, and food 4 stars. I would come back to try the Chilean sea bass which is what they're known for. Ask for Samuel who made the experience more enjoyable.

Sunday brunch is expensive but well worth the price. Just about everything is terrific -- from the beef at the carving station to the sweet potato hash to the sushi to the chocolate fountain. Went on Christmas to celebrate the hubby's 40th and it was extra special. Only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because dessert was a disappointment. Loved the fountain -- don't get me wrong. But the cookies, cakes and shot glass desserts had no taste. A big letdown when all the sweet treats are calling your name every time you get up to refill your plate. Service is A plus, so is decor and ambiance. Will do it again for another special occasion.

I have eaten at The Boheme several times and, it has always been a great experience with delicious food and fabulous service. The Sunday brunch is top top and totally worth the price. Definitely try the crab cakes. I also went twice for Magical Dining this year and thought they had the best menu for the that with all three courses being spectacular. I highly recommend this place and, you have to try the Sunday brunch!

One of my favorite places in Orlando. Escargot, fish, chicken - all excellent. Start with drinks at the bar. They make an amazing lemon drop martini. I can't remember the name of the female bartender but everyone knows her. She takes great care in making those drinks. We moved to the restaurant. The ambiance along with the great service makes this place. Samuel, our waiter made it that much better. He was diligent and excellent. All the recommendations he made were awesome (crab cakes!).

the Boheme has been a favorite of mine for many years. From their excellent service and high-quality hotel to their jazz bar. Every once in a while we find an excuse to go down there and visit them. The staff always goes out of their way to meet every need we have. It's almost embarrassing the way they take care me! and they don't even know me but they take care me just like I was one of their regulars, as I watch them take care of their regulars sitting at the bar. We were going to the Rolling Stones concert last night which was Outrageous! Those guys and girls are great. We met at the Boheme and parked there for 15 bucks( half of what places closer to the Florida Citrus Bowl charge) and took the free bus to the concert, and then after the show back to the Boheme. The bus was provided by the city of Orlando. What a top notch town Orlando. When I arrived back from the concert the first thing the bartender gave me was a glass of ice cold water and a great big smile. Asked me if I wanted anything to drink and promptly bought me my Diet Coke. I was starving as I had not eaten before the concert. While I was at the Boheme prior to the concert I saw some of the appetizers other people were eating at the bar so I just had to order. My friend and I had an order of a smoked salmon baguette, homemade onion rings, and excellently prepared spicy wings. because we were lucky enough to have taken the bus back we beat all the people who had driven over FCB or had to take a cab or got stuck in all that traffic. I overheard someone who had walked from the FCB about 2 miles. They obviously weren't Americans LOL. But as people came in and the place got packed the team of staff members Sprung into action and gave us all a great service I will gladly return again and recommend this hotel.

Choices are getting slim in Orlando for a sexy, classy, jazz champagne brunch now that the Ritz Carlton stopped their brunch a year ago. This fills the gap for half the price. Those of you who remember the Ritz brunch, do not expect this, but don't expect steam tables filled with overcooked soggy food either. Expect nice choices, great atmosphere and music, unlimited champagne, and great value.

So, I have been here twice for drinks, never for food...even though I have seen some pretty stellar dishes trickle out of the kitchen. The atmosphere is always truly elegant, calm, laid back and overall good. Usually belly up to the bar, which is a gorgeous bar, with good bartenders that know how to mix a drink! It is a tad pricey, but I mean, come on, it is in the lobby of an autograph collection hotel bar! Overall, a cool place to swing into for a normal drink in a not so normal downtown Orlando feeling bar. If you wonder around downtown and want to feel fancy for a moment, swing in! Ill be back!

Sunday Easter Brunch was AMAZING! The swordfish, crab cakes, and sushi were awesome. The desserts were plentiful. The normal breakfast fare was also very good. Great atmosphere and staff!!

So I didn't actually eat IN the restaurant, but rather at their Easter Brunch, which was up on the 5th floor of the hotel. Still, it was The Boheme that did the brunch. So now that I have qualified my remarks... Absolutely fantastic brunch. The "meeting" rooms they used for the brunch were beautiful with a nice lush feel. The brunch tables were set up in different rooms, which all followed a theme. There was the Dessert area, the seafood room, the breakfast items room, etc. The food was all excellent. They didn't have much that you wouldn't normally expect at a very nice brunch service, but what they did have was fantastic. Missing was Eggs Benedict, but there was so much else, that it didn't matter.

This is probably the best brunch buffet I have been to (it has to be at that price ~$50/person). My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our birthdays and were very happy with the selection. I will say it may be hard to get your moneys worth if you do not enjoy seafood but they have lots of delicious options. We each had mimosas (included) and tried a variety of items. Based off the items I recommend coming closer to lunch so that you can really enjoy all the buffet has to offer (unless you like oysters and prime rib for breakfast). They had fresh made waffles... YUM as well as a selection of food you could order from the kitchen. The crab cake was also amazing. My boyfriend tried the baked ravioli and out of all the items we tried that was the only thing he was not impressed by. I definitely recommend this place for a splurge or special occasions brunch :)

The Boheme has not only amazing food but also a great atmosphere! I was staying at the hotel, the Grand Bohemian and didn't feel like leaving the premises so I sat at the bar for dinner. The bartenders were extremely professional but also a lot of fun, especially Ivy. The first night I got a rib eye, which I must say was one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was wet aged, the seasonings were to die for and the flavor was incredible. The next night I had the NY Strip and lobster and again, the steak was my top 5 I've had dining out. Forget Capital Grille or Morton's, this is where it's at! On my last day I had a margarita pizza which was thin crust and quality ingredients were used. The next time I'm working in Orlando I will make it a point to stay at this hotel because of the restaurant!

Came here for Magical Dining last year so this is a Overdue Review. Located downtown orlando inside The Bohemian Hotel. The ambience is victorian red plush velvet tones. The bar seating you will pass by prior to entering the main entrance lobby of the restaurant. The grand piano/pianist is there and depending on the time of hour you will enjoy the soothing sounds of a pianist. Reminds me of Nordstroms lol when they have piano days entertaining shoppers! We were seated accordingly after mentioning we had reservations. The dining ambience is nice white loose curtain like dividing each table focusing on the middle dining area. Lets talk about the food & service -- I had a bisque of some sort as my starter and I recall it being delicious. It might have been lobster bisque? It was served fully and was quite fulfilling. The entree was a mishap -- Yet was kindly redone. I first ordered a mediterreanan salmon dish and when I received it -- The smell of the seasonings was pungent to me. I quickly asked the wait staff to exchange my entree to the steak & potato dish instead. They kindly asked why and had the manager I believe come to our table and simply apologized for the bad salmon dish. My main entree was kindly delivered to me and my plate was cleaned! The water service was ok -- There are times refill of water was flagged down for the wait staff to acknowledge. The dessert I chose was some type of Chocolate drizzled Cream Puff. It was pretty good but I felt the pastry (puff) was not freshly made? The food here was filling and ambience is not bad but I would not come back unless they put something new on the MD menu.

As expected - this place was perfect! The atmosphere was relaxing, fun and classy. My husband and I have been wanting to try it so even when my feet were killing me from standing on heels all day - we walked from our work function on Central over to the bohemian. I would tough it out again in a heart beat! Service was spectacular! I ordered a wheat beer but when the waitress returned she informed me that they took out the wheat and replaced it with a pumpkin spice. She brought a glass for me to try assuring me the bartender was sure I would love it. AND I DID! It was refreshing to have the waitress come back - not empty handed and then also to have a great choice! We ordered the grouper and steak so we could share. We ate every last bite! Oh and wait - I forgot to mention the warm, crusted bread and crab cake appetizer! AMAZING!!!!! You have to try the sauce with the crab cake.

Read other Yelp reviews and had to come in, glad we did. Roberto was our server and he started is with the Aged Manhattan, what a start. Then we had escargot and crab cakes to start, amazing. We asked Roberto to surprise us and we ended up with Sea Bass and Scallops. The Sea Bass was best I have ever had. Then he surprised us with dessert, again it it a great place for atmosphere, drinks and food. I recommend taking your time and enjoy, we Spent 3 hours and enjoyed ever moment.

Absolutely awful experience. Terrible waitress who has no business in this restaurant or in an applebees. She is a disgrace to all other people in her industry. Food was terrible. Delivered wifessteak then delivered mine 25 minutes later. Stay away from this place and go to a place like Ruth's Chris.

Ah, The Boheme, what a lovely place to dine. Rarely have I had such well prepared, simple food in my life or my travels. Had a reservation for a Friday night at 7 for two, but opted to dine alone and got a nice cozy table facing all of the amazing, and interesting, artwork. Found a nice bottle of wine thanks to the servers recommendation and started with the beef carpaccio. This was some of the best carpaccio I had ever had. It's cut to order so it's not served on a cold plate straight from the fridge with the meat stuck all over it. It was served with grilled toast wedges and crispy capers, with a mustard sauce that was just perfect. It was also plenty for 2-3 people. For dinner I opted for the Sea Bass with a beet reduction, asparagus and a sweet potato mash. This fish was perfect! Perfect size, perfect portion, perfectly cooked, and that reduction, oh , so good. My wonderfully friendly, cordial, adorable server cashed me out and brought the remainder of said bottle of wine for me to enjoy among the others guests, in a darker atmospher while listening to the nights entertainment on that great piano. I also ordered room service here a couple nights later when a freind joined me, although I ordered the exact same thing, he ordered a steak and what a delicious steak it was! Perfectly done, smokey flavored, one of the better cooked steaks I've had in a while! I definitely recommend this place for dinner. I did miss out on the brunch everyone talks about but no way brunch could have beaten that spectacular dinner anyway!

I did Sunday Brunch on May 31 and it was not as great as it has been in the past. Its been over a year since I went for Sunday Brunch. The décor is updated and it is quite nice and the service is still very good. Chamber music is also played in the food area which is a great touch, However, the food wasn't up to par (except for the crab cakes-I agree with a fellow Yelper's review below on the crab cakes and I usually only eat MD crab cakes also!) The oysters on the half shell were eatable, but no where near as good as other seafood specialty restaurants. In reality, except for the crab cakes, no other food item stood out (which should speak for itself). The champagne was continuously flowing and that is a plus. Only once did I have to remind the waitress to fill my glass. For dessert, we shared the Bananas Foster. Complete disappointment as it was no where near a true Bananas Foster. It did not arrive at the table flaming as it should be and it only consisted of bananas, ice cream and some spice on top. For a brunch that charges nearly $50 (including tax, but not tip), I was disappointed. The final insult was the parking fee. Although we had our receipts validated, the charge was $15!! We were there for a little over 4 hours as we were catching up as good friends do, but I guess parking validation is only good for a few hours now. I do not remember paying for parking in the past and we even went into the bar previously after brunch and stayed much longer. Obviously, The Boheme has changed a lot since my last visit and NOT for the better. If you want to treat yourself to a nice Sunday brunch, this is not the place. Unless, you want to blow $75-plus for average fare.

OK, so we should have made reservations for dinner attending POTO at the new Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center but did not. We were then seated in the lobby. I ordered a glass of wine and for eleven dollars I got a 1/3rd of a glass of it. We ordered from a very nice selection of items, and settled on Filet Mignon au Poivre. We waited and waited. No bread. No butter. You would think that in a Bohemian style restaurant they would have dark grain and other exotic breads; flat or otherwise, to sample which is a sign of welcome in any authentic "Bohemian" region of Eastern Europe, but I digress. The meat finally came with string beans, mashed potatoes and a lovely sauce. It was a good thing because I was about to nibble on the napkin! I ordered medium rare yet was served more rare and small in size for a 42 dollar meal. They must have been busy back in the kitchen, since my mashed potatoes were lukewarm and the string beans limply tepid. I tasted the cool mashed, then sent it back. The same plate returned with my same old mashed ( I know because of my fork marks) only hot in the middle, and warmer. Can you say microwave? You think the chef would have prepared a fresh serving. I would expect more in a restaurant of this alleged caliber. Oh, POTO stands for "Phantom, well, you know the rest..."

I had never taken advantage of Magical Dining Month prior to this year and, along with some friends, decided to visit The Boheme first. The bar inside has pretty decent prices for an upscale restaurant in the downtown area. Happy Hour changes prices each hour, adding $1 to each drink per hour (ex: a drink is $4 from 5 - 6 pm, $5 from 6 - 7 pm, etc.). The drink I ordered was strong but smooth going down. I ordered the escargot, baked salmon, and Nutella lava cake off the MDM menu. The most disappointing item was the salmon, which was delicious but on the small side. I had two issues with my dining experience. 1) The waiter asked if we wanted sparkling or still water. We asked for "regular, plain water" and they kept bringing out bottles of Evian. Having never visited The Boheme, my group figured this was normal practice (as we did ask for regular water) but it turns out, it's not. We were blind sided with a $30 water bill at the end of the meal. Word of caution: get some clarification on the water if you visit. 2) After our meal, we asked for our bill to be broken up by couple and were handed just one bill, which was not split up. No big deal, right? We asked for it to be split and the waitress obliged. Well, she sort of did; she took almost 25 minutes to fix the check and it still wasn't right, but at that point we just wanted to go home and we ended up sorting out the wrong drink assignments ourselves. Reading some of the reviews on here, I've noticed a pattern: service suffers during MDM. I think it's great that all these restaurants want to donate proceeds and make themselves more affordable for a short period of time to generate return business, but nobody is going to return if the service is subpar.

Well my dinner was great. Opted for the Chef's Prix Fix... $49 for three courses and was not disappointed. My spouse with a lighter appetite opted for the recommended pork chop. I did the highly touted Sea Bass... My wife's pork chop came out over cooked and tough as shoe leather. Our waiter (Samuel) was beside himself, upset and after discussing the situation w/ the manager, produced a complementary dessert and another properly cooked Pork Chop and dessert to go. Samuel was great, good waiter and a good conversationalist without getting too-in-your-space. He made up nicely for the fail in the kitchen that evening. Also it too forever for the food to come out, which had us wondering if there was some major kitchen malfunction. The staff/management and waiter more than made up for the kitchen goof-up.. and spoke volumes about customer service and making things right. Kudos to our waiter and the management (the manager also stopped by the table to pardon the kitchen mishap). Oh, yes, we will be back. For more of that Sea Bass. Perhaps next time when all the stars are aligned they will cop a 5-star rating. We actually made reservations via OpenTable.

My boyfriend & I came here before we went to a show at the Dr Phillips center. They have a delicious quick service menu just for making the show on time if you're cutting it close! Also, our waiter justin & Jill were amazing. From the moment we stepped out of the car we were warmly greeted and welcomed. The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal, & our evening couldn't be more perfect. We will absolutely be back & definitely recommend this place!

In his short time at The Boheme Restaurant, Chef Laurent Hollaender has taken ownership of the culinary operations in the Boheme and banquet events. He has more than thirty years in the culinary field and hospitality industry and uses his passion for culinary excellence. Our next course was an Hors d' oeuvre course of Duck Foie Gras Terrine, Smoked Duck Breast, Toasted Brioche and a Beet and Carrot Chutney. This was a favorite of the night. The sweetness of the chutney and the richness of the Foie Gras were perfect matches.

Very impressed! The decor is something straight out of Interior Design Magazine, a very sense heightening atmosphere! The girls (my girlfriend's daughters) could not stop talking about the high ceilings and the pretty columns! The lunch menu (we wanted a nice brunch) is impeccable! I was very impressed with the selection of champagne, and the waiter was very knowledgeable. The food is outstanding! The tastes are something to write stories of, while the presentation was a treasure to behold! Our waiter was a very classy, friendly and again, knowledgeable gentleman who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well fed, and attended to. We will definitely be coming here again, as we will also be recommending the restaurant to others! An absolutely splendid time!

This is one of our fave places in Orlando. We have dined there numerous times and are particularly fond of their Sunday Jazz Brunch which is awesome. Our whole family loves the place. Last night we attended the opening night of Phantom of the Opera at the brand new Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center which is an architectural triumph! We had drinks and snacks afterward at Boheme in their wonderful bar area. What a terrific night!

I came here for a catered lecture event. The staff and event space were great. The food was excellent. Even better is the bar for before or after your meeting. I have stayed in the hotel before and highly recommend it! Lovely spot right in the middle of downtown Orlando.

Brunch had many things to choose from: standard free made omelets, waffle station, cheese and meats, prime rib (cooked perfectly with a tasty seasoned crust), crab legs, freshly prepared mussels and a variety of fine desserts. There are also fresh made menu items to order too. Service and Brunch was outstanding!

The eggs Benedict here was to die for. Their creative take features a grilled tomato, and spinach on the eggs Benedict topped with lingonberry jam was absolutely delicious. The service was great, and it was not too pricey at all, in fact I liked this so much I went back with my girlfriend two days in a row who also loved it. A very cool atmosphere as well.

My review is for the fantastic brunch they serve on Sundays! My mom treated us to this lovely brunch a few weeks ago and it was amazing. They have just about everything you can possibly imagine. The tables full of food encircle an entire room, and that isn't all they offer! You can also order items off of a small menu provided to you at your table, and those items are included in the price. We ordered some crab cakes off of that menu, which were completely delicious! The brunch buffet offers everything from fruit and cheese, to typical breakfast items like waffles, eggs, bacon, etc, to seafood, to desserts! The fruit and cheese selection was excellent. I loved the fresh peel and eat shrimp, and the desserts were incredible! You can also have prime rib, made to order omelets and waffles. Overall, this is the best brunch place I've experienced in the area!

Good lunch location for business meeting. The food was well prepared and I was impressed with the service. The setting was comfortable and cozy. I enjoyed the food but was not blown away like the way I thought I would be. However, I am a fan and would definitely recommend it.

So this is a difficult call for a number of reasons and the table and I discussed and we ended up with a 3 star rating... Here is how it laid out... Atmosphere... Solid 5 stars - good table separation, lovely decor, comfortable and well appointed. Appetizers (we shared them to each try them)... Escargot - a solid 4 stars, perfectly done but lacked any originality....the basic garlic butter method. The flatbread pizza... Meh, 2 stars at best... The real surprise was the calamari... Expected the norm but had some indescribable sauce on it that was wonderful... 5 stars. The overall rating of three was because of the entrees... The tuna that three of us had was bland at best... We had to get some sirachi to give it any spice at all. The one person with the sea bass gave it a 4 star... We all gave the tuna 2 stars. Worst of all.. As the meal finish... They said no capachino or expresso because the machine was broken and the server said it had been for about a month!!!! Totally unacceptable. We gave it 3 stars overall which we all think was fairly kind.

We stayed at the Bohemian hotel and decided to tour the property. We stopped by the restaurant to check out the menu. Xavier blew us away with his friendliness and he told us everything we need to know about the restaurant/bar. We would not have chosen to eat there if it wasn't for him. Our server was also exceptional and on pointe (forgot her name). During our experience, we would have loved to share our service compliments with management and saw a female manager pass by a few times. Unfortunately she never made eye contact with us or came to check on us so we never got that message across. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza, and everything else we ordered including the delicious cheesecake!

Had dinner at the Boheme and the food and service was as excellent as the Sunday brunch. The live jazz music and romantic decor and atmosphere makes this place IMHO one of the best couples dinning places in Orlando.

Let me just start off by saying that this is one of the top places to go to for brunch! So why 3 stars? Because the service we received was lacking. Food: 5 stars! They have everything from grilled veggies to oysters to prime rib and your standard scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage station. They also have an omelet station and a dessert display and an a la carte menu that is included with the brunch. And did I mention endless mimosas?! Service: 1 star. We had Diana as our server this past Sunday for brunch... I don't know if she was just annoyed to be working but she SLAMMED everything on the table! Plates, glasses, even my check - SLAMMED it right in front of me. And she also forgot one of our orders from the kitchen and after we asked her about it, she replied with, "well, did you order it?" .....sounds like someone needs a refresher course on customer interactions 101. I think we were all a little taken by her response and overall attitude. Also had to wait about 20-30 minutes for our mimosas to be refilled..EACH TIME. Then after getting our mimosas filled, waited another 20-30 min for the OJ.. It got so bad that we got the champagne ourselves from the ice buckets and asked another server (Leo) to help us out... And after all the checks were paid for, she was nowhere to be seen. I don't know why they just don't leave a bottle at the table, this would've been an convenient alternative if you are in the weeds. But anyway, brunch at the Boheme is fantastic... Not so much with the service. Save yourself some time and just head up to the bar.

Went here on a "Nunya" bizness breakfast, and it was a treat. I had the big breakfast entree which came with pancakes, sausage, bacon, toast and home fries and eggs. It was filling but for $16 it better be! The buffet brunch at $36 dollars a pop came with champagne and an awesome spread, which I will try next time sans the bubbly. The interior was a bit taxing to look at for long periods of time. The gaudy red velvet and drapes and hanging beads overwhelming.

After making reservations a week in advance, we arrived Saturday at 5:45 prior to the concert. The young hostess was quite accommodating and sat us near the window in this attractive room. We were unfortunate to draw the server Denise, who explained that she had worked there for 10 years. We thought that might be a plus......not. She was a tired, "entitled" deliverer of food. She showed no enthusiasm, was only engaging when we tracked her down (I walked to the bar to get a drink), and proved to be the downfall of the special experience (anniversary and two birthdays). I wish I could say this in a better way....please help her to find a job at Denny's, where she would be more in her element, and future Boheme guests would not be exposed. The food was superb (lentil soup, steak au poivre, Alaska salmon, lava cake, etc.), Kessler Wine Collection Cab. If only the service matched the rest of the experience.....very sad!,

Tried to make a last minute reservation, and could only get a 5:30 seating. A bit early for me but was really excited that the place is so popular! The food definitely did not disappoint. But I was disappointed that the place was pretty empty and it stayed that way the entire 2 hours that we were there. I'm not sure what the issue is with their reservation policy. Good atmosphere, good food and a nice wine list. I'll give it another go sometime...

My fiance and I came to this restaurant for my birthday. You can valet park and your voucher and be redeemed if you are eating at the restaurant. The restaurant decor was definitely neat. They also have a piano player in the center between the restaurant and lounge. It is pricey here, so don't come and think you can get something cheap. All the dishes that we ordered were great. We had the tuna tartar where they were nice enough to split into 2 plates and the beef carppaccio. I'm a big fan of the two and it really hit the spot here. We also got the caprese salad and the lobster bisque. I thought the caprese salad was ordinary, I definitely had better else where, and my fiance loved the lobster bisque. For our entree I had the chilean seabass and he, the filet mignon. Both were cooked to our liking. Comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I also got a free dessert since it was my birthday and we had the marscapone cheesecake with blueberries. It was amazing. The best cheesecake I had for a great ending!

As soon as one walks into The Grand Bohemian, one is struck instantly with the bold décor, posh surroundings, and welcoming staff. On a Saturday evening, it surely seemed like "the happening" place to be, surrounded with vibrant energy flowing from beautifully dressed people. The staff was professional and courteous, however, what is up the sexual innuendos? We haven't even broken bread together yet. A bit bizarre I must say. The Caipirinhas were ultra smooth and fresh. In between courses I couldn't help noticing that our waiter seemed to have made himself conveniently unavailable, once we asked for the Magical Dining menu. Is clientele treated differently based on deep pockets? I certainly didn't expect a Hotel of this grandeur to pick favorites. Incidentally, there was no "magical dining" subsidized menu on the bar hence, our liquor tab was substantial. For appetizers we ordered the Kessler Calamari, Heirloom Tomato Caprese Salad, and the Beef Carpaccio. The Calamari was succulent and tender yet crispy though the Mediterranean aioli was over powering. The mozzarella was at par served with fresh greens. One didn't need to be a brain surgeon to recognize that the food had been sitting a while. The whipped potatoes were bone dry, the steak was heavily salted, and the crab cakes could hardly be called moist. My assumption was that the side dishes were plated earlier and had been sitting on an assembly line waiting for some helpless diner such as myself to pick the entree which it would accompany. True, the presentation was beautiful, but it didn't make up for the lack of flavors. I thought the purpose of participating in Orlando Magical Dining was for the restaurant to showcase their culinary expertise in hopes of gaining one's patronage. If you are going to serve food not at par with the preceding reputation, doesn't it defeat the entire purpose? What should have been a memorable and intimate night out with friends, turned into a disappointing affair which left me brooding about the true purpose of Orlando Magical Dining and its value? Will I even allow myself to give the Boehme a second chance after this experience? Or is your first impression a lasting one?

Called last minute for Thanksgiving dinner for a party of 8 plus two kids. The price was high, but what you got was amazing. Service was great and mimosa and poinsetta were included in the price. Buffet was out of this world! Crab cakes to die for! Turkey dinner, stuffing, and every Thanksgiving food you can imagine. Crab legs!! Desserts galore!!! Fabulous!! One of the children has an allergy to dairy and the chef personally made her a plate and a dessert, plus came out to the table and personally listed off every food she could eat from the buffet! Once, we heard that we knew we had a quality dining experience. Not everything was soaked in butter or cooked in heavy cream and milk!! A very wonderful holiday experience!!!

I have frequented the Grand Bohemian a number of times for events and happy hours and have always had a lovely time. The location is great since it is in the middle of everything downtown and almost everything is in walking distance. Each time I have someone ask where to stay in Orlando, this is on my top 3 suggestions! I had the pleasure of catching breakfast here this week at the restaurant and it was delightful! The dining area is large and spacious but decorated in a warm and welcoming way. They have great animal art represented throughout that stands for the Bohemians of the jungle and wildlife that are wanderers and adventurers. I had a nice hot tea and a huge portion of French toast...again...40 yr old virgin quote playing in my head...i have a weakness for french toast when I eat out. This might be because I am not a fan of eggs, therefore I do not like cooking with them when it is a main piece of the dish. Sooooo, if I don't see the meal being made, I am less likely to think that the bread is soaked in egg before it's in my mouth. (i'm sure some kind of "That's what she said" comment could be used here) haha. The fresh strawberries and jam on top were enough sweetness that this plate did not need butter OR syrup. It was light, fluffy and delicious. I finished every last piece on the plate and did not feel overly stuffed, it was a great start to the morning! I believe I will have to try this place out for other meals as well. The waiter was very delightful as well, got to love friendly customer service! The only thing I might change was that it was a beautiful morning in central Florida and the curtains were not drawn, I would have preferred the fresh light filling the room. Other than that, awesome!

I suggested this when invited out for lunch because I wanted to try it. It was not busy so we were sat promptly but it took awhile for our waitress (her tag said job coach) to show up. When she finally did, she looked like she had just been in a water fight. I ordered the Caribbean Spiced Mahi Mahi. It was ok. Bland. Total for 3 people was about $50. I would not come back here on my own dime.

The Boheme is great for special occasions. I've been several times over the years, but have never written a review. The highlights from their menu are, hands down, the Lobster & Crab Bisque and the Calamari. Both are making me salivate at this very moment at the memory of said dishes. The Klimt Kiss cocktail was delightful, refreshing and light. The only sour note was the Tomato & Artichoke Soup. It was flat, lukewarm and tasted like a Marinara sauce that had been microwaved with some croutons thrown in for texture. Less than impressed there. Otherwise, the Fatty Fatty Moo Moos adore the Lobster & Crab Bisque and Calamari tremendously. - Mike Fatty Fatty Moo Moo

I when to the Boheme for the first time during magic dining month in September 2012. We had a party of 11 people, which made getting drinks at the bar during happy hour a little challenging (nothing like trying to balance a dirty gin martini, your wallet and sign for a bill all while standing in 4 inch heels-oh well, it's tough to be a stylish foodie!) Oh and be careful at "happy hour" because the martinis on special are only the ones listed...I figured a standard gin martini would be included, because all the drinks on the board were very "fru-fru" but when my $11 bill arrived I knew I had assumed too much (I think the HH drinks were 6 or 7 dollars). Once we were seated in the swanky, dripping in art, dinning room I knew it was going to be a great night out. Our server was quite funny and very friendly. If she didn't know the answer to a question (which happened a few times) she happily trotted off to find someone who could. On to the three course meal: For the 1st course I had the lobster bisque which was DIVINE. I'm a soup lover and this one takes the cake, seriously top three off all the soups I've had in my life thus far. For my main course I had the NY Strip Steak Au Poivre which comes with mashed potatoes and green beans, drizzled with a brandy "sauce" which is basically a fancy gravy. I very rarely eat steak, but something told me to order this and I'm so glad I did. The steak was crusted in peppercorns and cooked perfect-it reminded me of my grandfather's steaks. Now considering this entree is usually $33 and I had a three course meal for $30 I'm not sure I would order it off the standard menu. For desert I had the cheesecake which was just as rich and satisfying as a cheesecake should be. One of my friends had a slight malfunction with his entree. He ordered the lamb, but was served a steak...while they fixed the problem he was given a 2nd starter (the bisque, because he had the escargot as his original appetizer) to enjoy. His correct meal arrived a mere two minutes later, which was impressive I thought, and I've worked in hospitality off and on my whole life. I will certainly be back for a special occasion since the standard menu is a little rich for my teacher salary but considering I live a few blocks away I might have to walk over one night just to treat myself to a bowl of the bisque and a glass of wine.

The Boheme is Located inside the gorgeous Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando. Downtown Orlando is one of my favorite places in the city and the Boheme is one of my favorites to eat at. I have been here several times and each time my food and service has been amazing. Their sea bass is one of their specialties and then there are some must haves. In my book you should try their crab and lobster bisque, it is perfectly creamy and the flavor will blow you away. Just close your eyes as you try to capture every flavor. Also my top dish would be the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. They come as an entree or a sandwich, either way you will thoroughly enjoy them! My colleague was visiting from Asheville and she has the Seared Tuna Tacos, first off the presentation was amazing, it looked so beautiful and fresh, and they tasted so so so very good! I was truly impressed. As a native Orlandoan I recommend this place if you want to enjoy a nice fancy dinner that is not too over the top.

I ate here for magical dining and I really enjoyed it. I did have to send back my lamb for being overcooked but the staff was really good about it and they brought my replacement surprisingly fast. I will definitely go back.

What a special treat this place was, the atmosphere alone was worth the bill. The unique artwork and sultry jazz music that accompany a delectable dining experience, I would imagine makes for many return guests. I had a Macadamia encrusted Salmon that was 'Like Butta!' it literally melted in my mouth. The dimly lit, rich red hues of the restaurant created a relaxed and inviting dining experience. As well as the all star service and extremely accommodating staff. I would certainly like to visit again.

I stayed at the Grand Bohemian for quite some time on a work trip. Here's the list of things I recommend, though a lot of it was simply DELICIOUS: Breakfast: Smoked Salmon Bagel, Skillet Potatoes, Blue Cheese Grits Lunch/Dinner: Calamari, Fried Green Tomatoes, Lobster bisque, Crabcakes (they are AWESOME - all crab), dumplings and shrimp And last but definitely not least, the Chilean Sea Bass is out of this world!!!!! You must try it at least once. Enjoy!

My very favorite place to dine before going to concerts at the Bob Carr Theatre. We ate there last week before going to see The Wizard and were we surprised when we entered the diningroom The week before, it had been completed redesigned and, all I can say, is that we stopped in our tracks and said WOW upon seeing the "new" room. Lucious colors of red add to the romantic ambience; the assortment of artwork are not to be missed. And the food....We started out with their wonderful tasty Cognac Lobster Bisque which is to die for! A Chopped House Salad, large enough to feed a family, was next and shared. I have tried several of their entrees (the grilled Scallops are wonderful) but the New Zealand 1/2 rack of lamb is what I order most of the time because it is sooo good. A side of Mushroom Ragout (again large enough for 2) compliments it very nicely. As far as desserts, we never seem to have any room left but the menu selections are very tempting. We have found the service to be among the best we have encountered. Dining early (5:30-6:00pm) we find we have the complete attention of the server without him being obtrusive. A bonus of dining here is that the FREE Lynx bus stops right outside and takes you directly to the theater. Parking is validated in the restaurant so for the cost of an attendant's tip, you can leave your car and not have to search for parking or pay the outrageous parking fees of $10 or more.

Sunday Brunch is pretty amazing but expect to pay largely, but also expect things like crab legs, and great food, i think for 2 people our bill was around $80. But I enjoyed it

I had planned a romantic weekend for my boyfriend and I and purchased a package at the hotel that included a $50 dining credit at The Boheme. Brunch is my favorite meal so of course I booked us reservations for theirs. Sunday Brunch is from 10.30 am - 2pm, it's $40 a person and includes a wide variety of items - All you can drink mimosas, seafood (crab legs, shrimp, mussels), Belgian waffles (made to order) with fresh berries, typical antipasti selection of tomato/artichoke hearts/mozzarella balls with Italian meats, prime rib carving station, breakfast pastries/dessert, omelet station, regular scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and that doesn't include an additional menu of items that are include but made to order as you want them. Make sure you make reservations. Some Good Notes on The Boheme: Get the CRAB CAKES!!!!! They are on the a la carte menu and made fresh to order. These are hands down the best crab cakes I have ever had - in fact I ordered it twice (yes you can order as many items from the a la cart menu as you'd like). There was no filler in the cakes, completed lump crab and the remoulade sauce it is served with gives it the perfect zing. I had an entire plate of berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries) because the first was so fresh and naturally sweet. Crab legs were hot and delicious, artichokes were fresh and lightly coated with a light pesto which gave it a wonderful seasoning. Bananas foster (from the a la carte menu) was amazing - bananas cooked perfectly with a light seasoning of cinnamon and warm vanilla ice cream. Caramel sauce wasn't too sweet and a nice compliment. The chocolate mousse on the dessert bar served with berries was outstanding, again not too sweet, very light and not filling and the berries of course were a perfect pairing. My boyfriend in addition had an omelet from the omelet station and the Belgian waffles all of which he loved. Some Not So Good Notes: I had made reservations 2 weeks in advance and even though the restaurant wasn't even half way full they still tried to sit my boyfriend and I in the lounge/bar area. We complained and at first they didn't seem to want to change our seating but eventually they did go ahead and seat us in the dining area (which is beautiful). Also the orange juice in the mimosas has pulp which always grosses me out. Bottom Line: Can't say this enough - Best Brunch I've ever had, WORTH THE SPLURGE, and get the crab cakes!

Went for lunch last week and had the hunters plate to share. Had the salmon which was good but the rice was lacking and swimming in some bland type of sauce. The crab cakes looked good but my friend didn't seem to interested seeing how he had only eaten one of the two. Expected a little more out of this place for the price....

Breakfast at The Boheme is worthwhile for one major reason: Eggs Benedict. The dish is AMAZING and comes with some spectacular potatoes. But just a word to the wise -- don't go here if you need quick in-and-out service. It always tends to be slow, regardless of how many people are in the restaurant. Servers are mostly friendly and attentive at first, but tend to lose interest as the meal goes on. That's the only reason I didn't rate it higher. It has a lovely atmosphere, though.

From the moment my fiance and I walked into this restaurant, we were treated as if we were the only customers they had. Although I knew this was a top notch spot, I had no idea they truly cared for their customers in this way. Plus, it's the only placed I've dined where their menus are backlit with an LED light. We decided to forego any appetizers but were happily greeted with a plate of warm bread -- asiago garlic with a pesto drizzle and the most heart warming whole grain bread I've ever tasted. Honestly, with a little cheese that could have been a wonderful meal in itself. We were there for our anniversary though so we decided to try some of their specialties, a grilled Filet with their signature mac and cheese and the thyme crusted Sea Bass over polenta. Each plate was presented with artisnal expertise and tasted as good, if not better, than it looked. The polenta was adorned with a beurre blanc sauce which translated to, "out of this world amazing." Too full for dessert I can't comment on their offerings but they all sounded decadent and the perfect ending to a very fulfilling meal. Another nice perk was the live jazz music piped into the dining room. The pianist and singer were in the lobby and made for an even better evening than we had anticipated. If you have the chance to visit, you won't be disappointed.

Great food. Aaron knew the menu well and advised me on dinner choices. My coffee rubbed rib eye was at the top of the steak charts. The Chilean sea food bass was great. Pre fix dinner was a great combination. I am stuffed (and I can eat!)

We dined there on Valentine's Day Eve and I must say I was disappointed from the beginning. I have dined in many restaurants around the world and I know what great service is and this restaurant needs to brush up on their skills. They had us wait 20 minutes to take our drink order after they sat us down. We were then told the menu was $79 as if I didnt know that already considering I had done my homework and it was clearly listed on the menu. The food was mediocre, nothing to write home about. To be honest, my filet mignon was dry and in need of seasoning. My wife's Lobster was far from a true Lobster Thermidor. The shrimp cocktail was not presented well, 3 shrimp on a white plate with some micro greens, not very sexy or appealing to the eye. Dessert was good but how hard is it to coat strawberries with chocolate and add some truffles from Godiva on the plate (they were not homemade truffles). My wife had the Creme Brulee and it was good, but I expected more. The thing that gets me the most upset is that we were charged 30 dollars withour our knowledge. I called the hotel and they said its a hotel HOLD to verify payment. They said they had received many many calls like mine. This is my concern, I AM NOT A GUEST AT YOUR HOTEL!!! Why am I being charged something? The lady I spoke with said she didnt know what the charge was but that it was policy. Customer Service is very important in my eyes, I will never return and will never give this restaurant a good rating. This is why I stay away from Restaurants in Hotels but this time I figured it could be different, again I was wrong! Bottom line, service is not up to par, food is mediocre and the ambiance was nothing special. Restaurants on V-Day usually give the women a rose to take home or some type of gesture, my wife got nothing. Advice to the owner, Roses dont cost much and they go a long way with your guests.

I love it. My boyfriend and I went here for the Magical Dinning deal and I feel in love with the ambiance and mood the restaurant offered. Although we made reservations we did have to wait about 15 mins, which was not a problem because we waited at the bar. The service was SUPERB, the lady bartender made an amazing white chocolate martini with a chocolate drizzle. I could have died and gone to heaven in my seat. The atmosphere was very exciting with the football game and some rowdy fans but with it all I still felt the place had an intimacy about it. After having our drinks for the 15 mins the hostess came and found us at the bar and seated us at our table. I loved the high back seats, the dim lighting, and low hum of people talking. The service was amazing, not once did we feel rushed, the food was good. I had the salmon on a bed of white rice and my boyfriend had the NY Steak with the best MASHED POTATOES I've ever tasted. They were so good I had to ask for a side. Yes they were delish. Our server was amazing, fast as a whistle; we never waited more than a minute or two for requests. I would have given the place 5 stars but every place has room for improvement. I plan on bringing my girlfriends here to enjoy the drinks and possibly my boyfriend's parents here for dinner if they visit us. Awesome service, good food, portion size perfect, atmosphere to die for.

Okay. Maybe I caught The Boheme Restaurant on a bad day. Maybe I did not order the right thing on the menu. Maybe my expectations are unrealistic. Then again, maybe I should have anticipated a less than stellar experience when I walked into the restaurant and it was empty. After dining there, that is certainly how I felt. My companion and I arrived at high noon and had no trouble getting a table for lunch. The wait staff was pleasant -- almost too pleasant to the point of obsequious. Our server was quick to take our order and to bring us our drinks. He never once, however, returned to refill our iced teas. Never a good sign. The menu was interesting and very basic. Although the restaurant does offer a $15 lunch (appetizer, entree and beverage), my companion opted for a chopped salad. I chose the white fish sandwich. Neither of us wanted an appetizer but I was tempted by the smoked tomato soup. My companions salad arrived and her first reaction was that "usually a chopped salad does not look like this." She was write. The salad looked more like a garden salad that was heavy on the lettuce. More problematic was the kitchen's apparent belief that a salad should be so bathed in dressing that the produce cannot be identified. My companion neither commented on nor finished her salad. Had she commented, I do not believe the comments would have been favorable, but she was too polite to make an issue of it since it was my turn to buy. My whitefish sandwich was heavily fried cod on a soft bun with somewhat bland -- barely noticeable really -- tartar sauce. The fish was good quality and I suspect it had been fried fresh, as it was still very flaky, but the kitchen should reconsider the need to deep fry. The fried flavor overwhelmed the sandwich. It was edible but not wonderful. At $8 it would have represented a fair value if it had come with a side dish but the fact that I had to pay an additional $3 for French fries made my selection over priced, in my opinion. After lunch, my companion and I both ordered coffee. It was promptly delivered but no refills were offered, even though we lingered in the (empty!) restaurant for 25 minutes while we chatted. I'll not soon return, and that is a pity, because the ambiance was quite nice. I also have to wonder whether my fellow Orlandoans have experienced fine dining because I have, and The Boheme Restaurant does not fall into that category, at least based on my experience.

Wickedly cool space. Patient and professional staff. And deliciously filling breakfast food. What's not to like about The Boheme? Located within the posh upscale Grand Bohemian Hotel (which I unfortunately didn't have the pleasure of staying at due to it being completely booked), The Boheme offers a solid American breakfast with a twist. It will, however, run you a few more dollars per dish that you might find at a more low-key dining venue. Although the crab benedict called out to me, I opted for the Grand Bo breakfast sandwich, which ended up being served on a giant flaky croissant. Mmm. I can feel my arteries clogging up just thinking about it! For other breakfastphiles out there, this is one stop worth making when in downtown Orlando. You might have to spend a few extra hours at the gym to work it off, but you won't regret it.

We visited The Boheme for date night a few months ago. Top-notch all around. The menu was fairly standard and not at all adventurous. But that's not a bad thing. Sometimes you just want a delicious, perfectly-cooked steak, creme brulee and a good martini to wash it all down. You can't be the Boheme for those kinds of nights. Hubs made the reservation for the same time that the piano player began his night's work in the foyer at the Bosendorfer which made for a very enjoyable meal. The atmosphere is really...sexy. Low lighting with red everywhere and lots of bling makes you feel like you're dining in a boudoir. Seems to be the general flavor of Kessler's properties, having briefly seen the Bohemian in Savannah. Very romantic. Also, the menus light up.

I had breakfast here and it was fairly good. The smoothie they made was awesome and the service was good too. We came at an odd hour (around 10 am) so nobody was in the dining room to join us but we enjoyed our breakfast. There were no wheat options or healthy alternatives. Not really too many options if you're dieting or just eat slightly healthier than the average person. The food I did have was good though. It beats continental breakfast at the Holiday Inn!

We recently had dinner at the Boheme during a special wine pairing event. The food was incredible and the wine was even better. Although on the pricey side, the Boheme definitely does not disappoint with its upscale decor and welcoming staff. I highly recommend the monthly wine pairing dinner! We will be sure to add these to our calendar!

I have gone to the Boheme twice for dinner and had two different experiences. Consistently thought, I have seen that The Boheme is very slow earlier in the day and then gets busier later in the evening, close to closing time. The overall atmosphere draws me in (it may not for everyone), but it is reminiscent of an older hotel, where rooms led into each other so that you could appreciate each one. That being said, the restaurant is through the lounge bar, which could be confusing, but the layout and design of the floors/wall create a great environment for the live piano. Within the restaurant, the artwork does rotate (as The Bohemian Hotel is known for its art collection). The first time we had a server who wasn't that great, she wasn't always there and she seemed a bit flustered. However, our meals were amazing. I ordered the sea bass, which was fresh and the sides that were paired were a great flavor compliment. Everyone at the table greatly enjoyed their meal. The second visit, we had a very attentive server who was very helpful when the other person at the table was also stuck on deciding between he salmon or the filet minon. The server offered to have the two items be split so that we both could get two different items on one plate. Although the two are very different, we were grateful for the server being so understanding. My only complaint is only with the large lit up menus, a bit unnecessary, but was an interesting conversational piece. In the end, I should also note that their mascarpone cheesecake was unique and very rich (as anything using mascarpone should be). Its consistency was that of a NY-style cheesecake, and honestly, I still find myself thinking of how creamy the cheesecake was. I'm am very impressed with the Boheme, but alike any other restaurant experience, yours is unique. Any restaurant may have many great servers and the few poor, I wouldn't always judge solely by the one poor server if the food seems to stand out.

Fine, but not for the price. Service is clumsy and the supposedly wonderful wine list was full of holes. (There are only four types of white varietals, and all but two sparklings are brut.) The fried green tomatoes and blue cheese polenta were alright, although the portion size of the polenta was way too much for an appetizer. Finally, the rosotto was completely undercooked and chewy. I would have sent it back but the server never came over to check on us. That wouldn't have bothered me but that it was very, very empty in there, so what is the excuse? I didn't even want to gamble on dessert. Not horrible, but hardly world class.

Disappointing Stopped into the bar for a bite to eat before a concert at the Amway Center, the bar was busy but not out of control. We order the beef carpaccio, a Caesar salad, and the roasted asparagus. The beef and the Caesar salad arrived with little wait but after 40 mins the asparagus was still a no show. The food was brought to us by what seemed to be a manager and the salad arrived on a HOT plate, not warm hot, we immediately told him to please bring of the salad back on another plate, he told us we don't chill the plates here, to which we responded "that's fine but a hot plate is unacceptable; the salad returned in about 2 mins on a chilled plate. Both of these items were delicious but again the asparagus was a no show. The waitress was nice and took the asparagus off the bill before we asked telling us that when it arrived it would be free, unfortunately after being here about an hour we had to leave.

Thanksgiving at The Boheme: The crab cakes were so filled with crab I could not tell how they were staying together! Great mild mustard remoulade, just tangy and rich enough to compliment the crab, and grilled lemon were served with the crab cake. I was disappointed that the pumpkin crab bisque had a chicken base (I only eat seafood so I didn't try it, but the Caesar salad was a fine second course. I would have actually preferred another round of the buffet-style appetizers but I didn't know it until I tried the salad--the restaurant would have been fine with it. I don't even like raw oysters and theirs were delicious, the smoked fish was outstanding #a whole fish head on and skinned with serving tongs to tear off pieces, the most delicious, smoked, flaky fish I've ever had), and the cheese selection was limited but perfect. My salmon entree was cooked tender and moist, the turkey and beef that the rest of the table had was also moist and tender, and our desserts tasted great, even if I kind of regretted not ordering two different ones to taste. I did have to ask twice to get my dinner sides served separately from the sides made with chicken broth and also for the waiter to check on the soup base, but he was nice and attentive, always with fresh refills and more flatware, and our dining experience was perfect for the occasion.

I had always wanted to try this restaurant because I had heard great things so I finally did and was extremely disappointed. Service was horrible and slow. Our meals took forever to arrive. We had ordered a steak and rack of lamb so we knew one or both of them must have been cooked wrong and needed to be recooked but of course they didn't volunteer that and when we asked the waitress actually said "why, your not in a hurry, are you'? When the entrees did arrive we had been right because we could tell the lamb was rushed along. The outside was charred and the inside (I ordered med rare) looked like jello it was so undercooked. At that point the manager and waitress kept coming over trying to over compensate for the lack of service and bad food but we were just over it. We would have complained more but we went there b/c we had a gift card and didn't want them to comp anything etc b/c we just wanted to get rid of the gift card b/c we had no intention of coming back. Speaking of gift card no one knew how to ring it up and they had to track down the hotel manager on duty to figure it out and that probably took another 20min right there and all we wanted to do is leave. Whole experience: 2.5hrs. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Food is average, service is sloppy and the wine list is embarrassingly bad and corporate. $9 for a glass of Wente Chardonnay? $19 for a glass of Silver Oak? Really? Food prices are high and the actual dishes are more about image than substance--uninspired, average, expensive. I had to eat here because I was staying at the hotel, and part of me wishes I would have saved the $40 I wasted, gone to bed hungry and found somewhere really awesome to have breakfast the next day... Skip.

My husband and I went here for our 14th wedding anniversary. We wanted to pick a place we could enjoy the ambiance and the food. We were staying upstairs in The Grand Bohemian, which is a great review in itself. For appetizers, I had the Lobster Bisque, which was divine. Absolutely wonderful taste, not too salty, sprinkled with crab on top. My husband had the sushi appetizer, and he said it was amazing. It came with quite a bit, you could order that and dessert and be full! For entrees, I had Roasted Chilean Sea Bass, which was fantastic, melted in my mouth like butter, and my husband had the Grilled Tarragon Honey Scented Salmon, which was fabulous. For dessert, we ordered the dark lava chocolate cake to share, and the staff brought it out (on the house!) on a giant plate and wrote "happy anniversary" in chocolate syrup! That's attention to detail, and kick-ass service to boot. Our waitress was excellent. The place was pretty dead, it was 10pm on a Monday night, so that was pretty expected. I would LOVE to be able to return soon to sample some more of their exquisite food. A must-see in fine dining in Orlando!

We were looking for a decent place to eat near downtown Orlando. The leading recommendation turned out to be the restaurant in my hotel (the Grand Bohemian). While not the greatest meal I've had, this is a nice place; the service was good and the food was solid. My steak was a little overdone but still good. The wine list is extensive and has some reasonable choices.

Sorry about being gone for so long. I was in the UAE, and Seoul, but it's good to be home. The food here was great and the service was excellent. The tapas, pork and doughnuts were amazing! I sure do miss the west coast though... I'll be back there on Monday, I'll keep you posted.

For the decor itself, the Boheme is worth checking out. I usually go to the lounge and have dessert there, but with restaurant week, I thought it would be a good time to try out the restaurant. Beautiful dining room. Great service. And really quiet for restaurant week. :-/ As for the food, the lobster bisque was delicious. The calamari was a very generous sized appetizer - good, but a little too salty and not enough tartness. I had the thai duck. It was a bit fatty, but it had good flavor especially with the black bean sauce. The bamboo infused rice was too dry though. My dinner date had sirloin and it was pretty tasty. Dessert is always yummy here. The custard brulee did not disappoint. I don't care too much about sherbert so i thought they sounded better than they tasted (blood orange, mango, green tea).

Easter Sunday dinner was surprisingly hard to find in Orlando. Originally my husband and I were in the mood to eat French food, so we headed down S. orange looking for Le Coq Au Vin, which had awesome reviews. We were sad to find it had closed for Easter. But, since we were in the downtown area we decided to park downtown and look around for a nice place to have dinner. The Boheme was the only nice restaurant open at 6pm on Easter Sunday and so, after a bit of confusion trying to find the main entrance, we went in through a door leading to dark lobby with a piano in the middle and an entrance to a bar on one side and what appeared to be the entrance to the dining area on the other side. The place looked like a castle from the middle ages, not very welcoming. In fact, so unwelcoming that one could hear my heels clanking against the dark wooden floor followed by the echo. The place was empty and the hostess did not even come out to greet us until we approached a waiter and asked whether they were even open for dinner service. The ambiance was really what turned me off. The dining room was empty with the exception of a couple with a baby sitting towards the far corner of the room. We were seated precisely next to them and right under a speaker with jazz music playing a bit too loud. I do not recommend this restaurant if you suffer from claustrophobia as the decor is very depressive and the interior gives you the feel of being in a cave. I am talking dark wooden pillars, and long dark curtains blocking the outside view. Our waiter seemed like a nice guy at first but after explaining the menu to us he sounded robotic, like he was reading off a mental script. The food, however, was superb. As a starter, we ordered the polenta/ blue cheese dip with bread. It was the perfect marriage of creamy and tart. Being a vegetarian, I ordered the Risotto chef specialty with asparagus and tomato sauce, one of the few veg options in the menu. It was very flavorful but to my dismay, it did not have as much asparagus as I would have liked to have eaten. My husband had the cashew crusted salmon and he was definitely pleased with his meal. He ordered it medium rare and described it as being succulent and juicy! To satisfy our sweet tooth, we shared a blackberry creme brulee. This is where things got strange with out waiter, because he seemed to be extremely meticulous about where we kept our utensils, always rearranging them before bringing out our food. I understand its fine dining but he did not even say "excuse me" or "allow me to rearrange your silverware". Luckily the creme brulee was like a little explosion of heaven in my mouth and that definitely saved the evening! Although the food was good, the server was pretentious and we will probably take our business elsewhere.

The Jazz Sunday Brunch at the Grand Bohemian Hotel has always been an event to look forward to. Two or three musicians playing some quiet trad jazz in an oval room surrounded by food has been the Grand Bohemian formula for many, many Sundays. The jazz is still pretty good, but management has significantly dialed back the brunch selection. It's clearly not the experience that it used to be. For $30 per person you get to roam a small rotunda (the room connecting the bar and restaurant) filled with tables of generally well prepared food. Last Sunday there were salads, (over-cooked) Eggs Benedict, potato side dishes, interesting veggie creations, breakfast pastries, omelets made-to-order, a roast beef carving table and some seafood. The seafood selection was comprised of very nice-sized chilled shrimp and snow crab legs and a warm fish fillet. There was also a desert table so large that you could be guaranteed not to be able to try everything on it. Included were parfaits, cakes, a chocolate bread pudding, key lime pies, samplings of cheese cake, carrot cake, etc. So what's missing? Well, in addition to all of the above, there used to be: Sushi; lox & bagels; caviar; fresh raw clams & oysters; creative hot dishes such as individual beef wellingtons; a carving table that also included lamb, ham and/or turkey; pates, mousses & terrines, stuffed pastas; fresh pastas; rice dishes; lamb chops; etc. In fact, there were so many choices that the desserts couldn't fit in the rotunda! Large dessert tables had to be set up in the bar. And what of the Champagne, which was always included in the price of brunch? They are now serving sparkling wine and it costs $5 per glass (a bargain, to be sure, but they have broken their sacrosanct "Champagne Brunch" formula). The waitress did not mention that there would be a charge for the "Champagne" when we ordered and it was a surprise on our bill. Brunch at the Grand Bohemian is a shadow of its former self, at least to someone who experienced it before management's implementation of austerity measures.

The food was very good. For our entrees we had scallops with a tomato risotto and fish served with polenta and haricot vert. Both were amazing. Appetizers and desserts were good, although we were a little disappointed with the German Apple Pie. My only real complaint was that the waiter seemed to immediately write us off when we asked for the Magical Dining Menu and added a 20% gratuity to our check (for a table of two). As a former fine dining waiter - I was a little insulted. Why would you want to piss off the locals? Oh, well - it's a minor complaint - I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or a dinner out when someone else is picking up the check!

Within one of Orlando's best hotels is one of its best restaurants. The Boheme is amongst the best fine dining restaurants in Orlando, one of seven AAA Four-Diamond star restaurants in Orlando. I love going here for dinner, their Filet Mignon with exotic mushrooms on the side is insanely amazing. I singled this entree out as its my favorite here but they got loads of other great dishes on the menu. The Boheme also has one of the best sunday brunches in town. A little on the pricey end given it $45/person price tag, but it is worth every penny.

This is a great Orlando restaurant. The atmosphere is very romantic and they always have live piano. Service is always good but a little slow. The fried green tomatoes are amazing. Their risotto is the perfect thing on a cold florida night. Skip the blackberry creme brulee though.

Where do I begin? Or more aptly, how does one describe perfection? There's a reason all the chefs in Orlando choose here to spend their hard earned money for a meal. It's simply amazing. I went here on a first date with someone, and knew great things awaited us (for the food at least). After meeting up in the Bosendorfer lounge/bar for drinks, we went to the Maitre 'D to get seated. I had 9 o'clock reservations on St. Patrick's Day. I was expecting it to be packed. It was the opposite. Quite dead. Which was pleasant as there was not alot of noise. The decor is lovely. They have artwork placed all around, which you can purchase. There's a quasi-French, Italian, and Spanish decor all around. Beautiful white linen table cloths, amazing china, just what you'd expect from a near 5 star Zagat rated restaurant. The waiter took our order, we both had the same thing, Omaha Filet in a truffled Demi-Glace with Bacon and Leek Potato Gallette, all drizzled in a cabernet reduction. I knew it was going to be delicious, but I wasn't expecting the best meal I've ever had. And I'm no slouch in the kitchen myself, having worked in a 4 and 5 star restaurant for a period. The steak was unbelievable. You could cut it with a butter knife if you chose to. I prefer my steaks medium, more pink than red. And this was as if the chef were inside my head, cooking what I was picturing. Everything was simply amazing. And for dessert. Oh the dessert. I was once again blown away. I had the white chocolate lemon tower. A lemon mousse encased in white chocolate (think a soda can (chocolate) filled with lemon mousse). And on top and inside the mousse, fresh raspberries, and a raspberry glaze drizzled all over, along with fresh whipped cream (not the canned stuff) and a single piece of a biscotti like cookie for appearance. I think the dessert may have been more impressive than the steak, and that's saying something. The servers were amazing, and all in all, I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who wishes to have a great meal/experience.
