A quick hidden gem of a restaurant. Nice atmosphere, great tasting food. Recommend the sampler appetizers platter. My wife loves the soup they make for her at her request. If you are a snobby, demanding tourist, then don't grace the place with your presence. The people running the place are too nice for the drama.

Wasn't sure about this placed based on the reviews, however we took a chance and were very pleased! Ordered the lunch specials, sweet and sour pork and Mongolian chicken. Very tasty and good portions. Tip: They will appear a little shy/standoffish at first but the food is good! Taste the food!!!!!

My Go-To Delivery every time. They are fast and food is always good, and hot! The portions are enough for 2 lunches, so I always feel like I'm getting the value for my money. When I dine in, service is always friendly.

Stayed in a resort on International Dr. I didn't have a vehicle so I decided to order Chinese to be delivered to us. Taste of Asia was outstanding. From the order to delivery and of course the food. It was still hot when it arrived. I recommend this place if you are wanting quick and fast service. They stuffed our plates with food.

On my way to the Doctor's office I saw this restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. Not knowing what to expect I still figured I would give it a try since I really enjoy Chinese. I couldn't have been happier to find that they have a vegetarian Hot 'n Sour soup! (I asked to make sure the broth wasn't chicken, beef or pork and they said that YAY it wasn't). Note, it does have eggs so it isn't vegan for those who don't eat dairy. My hubby and I now come quite often for lunch and we get the vegetable options in the lunch specials. The lunch specials are HUGE and have a soup, spring rolls, rice and a main dish. Plenty to keep you full all afternoon and at a great price too! Tasty!

Decent, middle of the road Chinese restaurant. The menu was predictable with the usual Chinese food items. They also offer a sushi menu. My friend and I came here later in the evening and we were the only ones dining in. Our server wasn't very talkative or friendly but he quickly brought us our food which was steaming hot and tasty. I had the moo shu pork and it was good but a little on the salty side. The egg rolls were delicious, probably the best I ever had. Overall a good value for the amount of food you get.

I've had delivary a few times in two years visiting Orlando. I was impressed with the quality of the delivary for the price and how fast my order came. Can't beat the sushi special 2 rolls for under 8 bucks and not a bad selection. Spare Ribs were great! Highly recommended. Again it's not out of this world food, but for someone on a budget and want to save money for the parks and still get a decent meal, this is your place to call. It's good places like this exist and especially in pricey Orlando.

We dined in here a while back. Maybe two years ago. We both wished we hadn't, they stack the dirty dishes on a trolley in the hallway. Anyone from Florida can tell you that's a huge no no unless you want major pests. The food was gross, we ordered sweet and sour chicken, it tasted like no chicken either of us ever had before. Totally disgusting and we couldn't even eat our dinner. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We ordered Chicken Szechuan Style, Pork Hunan Style and Mandarin Duck. Pork Hunan was below average. We really loved the other two dishes. Their House Special soup was good too. Service was okay! Overall, we loved this place and maybe we will go again before we head back home.

Taste of Asia is the best Chinese restaurant we've found in Orlando in the 17 years we've lived here. We have the food delivered and it always gets here amazingly fast and still hot. All the food we've tried has been excellent, from the Mongolian Chicken to the Peking Duck. BTW - we recently discovered we could order online at beyondmenu.com , and their associated app.

So me and my family went here last night. We wanted to go to a nice sit down resturaunt but since it was friday night most of the places we wanted to go were packed. So we settled on this place because there was no wait and it was right around the corner from our resort. My mother ordered the orange chicken, I ordered the bourbon chicken and i ordered chicken fried rice for my toddler. My sons food comes out first..i tasted some and it was pretty good. Then my moms orange chicken came. she said it was okay. I tasted it and thought it was nasty. The sauce had a strange taste. Lastly my food comes out... I was disgusted and appalled. Some of the pieces of chicken was dry, overcooked and burned. It looked like the chicken had been sitting out all day and they threw some sauce on it then heated it up and overcooked it. The fact that they had the audacity to serve that mess was crazy to me! It was late & i was tired so i didnt even bother sending it back. At this point i didnt trust anything else they cooked...I took a bite of the chicken..it was dry as hell and the sauce had zero flavor. I was better off going back to the mall we had just came from and got much tastier chinese food... So i drank my water, ate my steamed rice and brocolli and called it a night. I am supposed to be on a diet anyways so maybe it was for the best. Go to this place at your own risk! you have been warned lol

Ordered delivery, online order, all the food was hot and fresh and got here pretty fast. Almost better than my old neighborhood restaurant lotus garden! Great food and proportions.

Yelp has overrated this place a bit. the food is mediocre at best. Ive had worse Chinese, but also much better Chinese. You're better off going to panda express then coming here.

Arrived from Miami on summer vacation to Orlando. My family (wife and two boys) were in the mood for Chinese food but did not want to leave the hotel and did not want to spend a lot of money after having spent a week here. Search Yelp, read reviews of people and took a chance in this restaurant. After ordering they said about 50 minutes to arrive and they came before that, wow!!. But I'm sure u want to know about the food!!. I'm happy to say the food was very good and delicious!!. Next time I come to Orlando if in the mood for Chinese, this is my place!

This place is super sketchy. We ordered takeout and their calls dropped a few times. They asked for multiple credit card numbers because the cards were "not working". After we finally got it taken care of, they said they would call back to confirm the order...but never called back. Finally my dad called them back to see what was going on and they had no recollection of him calling. I think it was very strange that they needed multiple credit cards, all of which we used during the day and were working fine. The food was not that good either. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

This is an awesome Chinese/Japanese fusion place. The food was wonderful! The place itself it up to date and clean. Service was good considering they don't know much English. We ordered schezuan shrimp , orange chicken with fried rice and the Manhattan Sushi roll. Everything was delicious. The sushi had a sweet sauce and avocado on it with spicy tuna , and shrimp tempura. They can adjust the spiciness of the dishes to your taste Would recommend it They deliver!

Currently in from out of town and was too lazy to go out to dinner tonight, so decided to try out this restaurant for delivery, and was very pleased! First off, I ordered online - and it was simple and convenient. It would be great if they could accept AMEX, but luckily I had my other card on me. I am staying in a hotel, so was a little nervous whether they would get lost. But they had no problems, and my food was to me very quickly. Everything still piping hot, which was awesome. Everything tasted grat too. Thought it was also nice that you could order all white meat with any of their poultry dishes- and they included the sweet and sour dipping sauce with my appetizers. So overall, great experience, and would definitely recommend!

I work in the area and this is our number one pick when it comes to ordering Chinese for lunch. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and the food is always fresh and tasty. Great deal if you're on vacation and want something quick. They deliver pretty quick.

Was there today, placed a take out order. getting back to the room i notice I had no rice called the restaurant they ask me if I would come back to get my rice after I drove all the way back to my room, of course I'm pissed at this time when I arrived back to the restaurant the girl that waited on me was on the phone very rude she knew who I was and what I came after but I had to wait and then she started giggling like it was funny while she's on the phone ,she asked me if I were mad I said hell yes I have to drive all the way back here to pick up my rice and she's still giggling about it like it was funny it wasn't funny to me I will never go back in that place again , by the way food wasn't all that great. Very unprofessional establishment. If you want poor service that's the place to go.

Delicious mongolian chicken. A tad spicy but still had a nice kick to it. Fast service and fair price. Not too much friendly feedback from the staff...plus i got a....i should say... Unusual fortune cookie. Still awesome.

As an Asian American, I travel considerably for work and fun. I always seem to run into the same challenge, namely finding good, well prepared Asian dishes that remind me of home. I'm not saying that the food here is like eating in Canton, or Szechuan Province, but it is delicious and prepared with care. Family owned and operated, Taste of Asia provides a delicious and fairly priced option for those seeking a well prepared and satisfying meal. I recommend the wonton soup, and the Mongolian beef. Both are delicious. Ending price for 3 starters and 3 entrees?.... 45$. That's with tea and beer!!! Check this place out, you will be completely satisfied.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food and decided to try the sushi. Not being a sushi snob, I though it was awesome. Now that they charge for delivery, I've started going in to pick-up my food. I gave them extra star because I met a friendly new employee Nick from Singapore. I highly recommend this local place and will definitely keep going.

This little gem was a great dining experience for tired traveler s last night. Cashew chicken was crunchy good and the shrimp and snow peas large and tender. Great service, too.

It isn't pleasant giving a negative review to a small independent, but in the case of A Taste of Asia, it can't be helped. It's a small, clean, but rather austere Dr. Phillips Chinese/sushi restaurant on Turkey Lake Road, near (cough) WalMart. After being seated I was given a stale fried Chinese appetizer with duck sauce. I don't know what these little somethings are called, but I usually enjoy them. But these had a taste that made me think they had been sitting out for several days. The large menu is mostly Chinese, but I opted for sushi. That may have been my mistake. I had unagi (eel) sashimi, which tasted scarily fishy; old, in other words. The miso soup was weak and disappointing. Along with the eel, I had tuna sushi which was fine, accompanied by two lunch-special rolls, vegetarian and shrimp tempura. Neither of the rolls delighted my senses. I was given a fortune cookie along with my bill. I should swear off restaurants that serve sushi followed with a Chinese fortune cookie. If I return, I'll try the much larger Chinese section of the menu. The best I can say about A Taste of Asia is that the prices are reasonable, and I didn't feel ill afterward.

This is one of the best Chinese food places in town. The price is cheap. You can order one meal and share it and still have left overs. They deliver and always had my food to me in less then 45 mins.

My coworkers and I have ordered here a few times, every time there is always an issue. Either with the lady taking the order on the phone having an attitude, delivery takes FOREVERRR or something just wrong with our food. Last time we ordered, I found a hair in my lunch. I was almost done when I found it so I didn't make it an issue and threw the food away, Today, I ordered triple delight and I was not delighted when I found a BEETLE mixed in with the meat!! I called the restaurant and the lady gave an excuse that it was probably from the broccoli. I told her that didn't matter, it wasn't supposed to be in my food. I'm just disgusted and wanted to let this be known. I have also uploaded a picture so you guys can see.

Every time I go on vacation--- I crave Chinese food by the 5th day. Normally I am back home in time to satisfy the crave, but I still have several days to go and the need has overcome me. So---- I caved and I'm ordering American Style Chinese food because they will deliver for free to my hotel. Here is what I ordered: 1. 5 flavor fish $14.50 (Horrible!! The fish was breaded and rotten) 2. Ma Po Tofu $8.50 (Seriously weird...I have never had this dish with peas and carrots- it didn't even taste remotely like Ma Po tofu) 3. Mu Shu Chicken $8.50 (Acceptable compared to the other dishes) 4. Mongolian Chicken $8.50 (Good) 5. Bourbon Chicken $8.95 (Weird- the chicken was rubbery) Cost: $48 + $5 tip = $52 with free delivery. I'm from DC and perhaps I am spoiled but this did not even count as acceptable American Chinese- it was plain bad- comparatively Panda Express is excellent. I am not sure what the other people who have been reviewing this place were smoking. Seriously, I'm Asian- take my word for it- don't go here. Even if you are desperate.

Taste of Asia is my favorite lunch destination in Orlando. Their sushi lunch special is great- any 2 rolls and soup for $6.75 or any 3 rolls and soup for $9.50! If you don't like sushi, they also have great Chinese food. My personal favorite is the honey chicken with fried rice. The rice is some of the best I've ever had! If you're local or if you're in Orlando for vacation and looking for a non-theme park place to grab a meal, definitely check out Taste of Asia. It's only 5 minutes from Sea World and Universal and 10 minutes from Disney.

The food is just OK. We ordered beef teriyaki for my son. It was so tough that we had to request a sharp knife which they did not have. The plate ended up on the floor. We did not have the food replaced because it was so tough. They charged us for it anyway. The rest of the bill was such that we could not decipher it. We will not go back.

After moving to Orlando, I ventured to many different Chinese restaurants, and this was the only one that had great teriyaki chicken (or chicken on a stick). Also, this was the only place that had a reasonable price on the food, I felt like many other competitors were overpriced and the food was sub-par. I feel like this is the biggest issue with Orlando, they expect to not have many repeat visitors, that they hike up the price and give horrendous food.

I've been going to this place since they opened. I've had them deliver to my home many times. HOWEVER they must have hired a new cook (who needs to be let go), because the food went from yum to yuck. Last Saturday we ordered 2-orders of wings (18 wings), 1-order moo goo guy pan, and 1-order mu shu pork. They were delivered on time. My garbage can got the moo goo guy pan (less 2 bites). The meat was mushy and the vegetables overcooked. It had absolutely no taste. The moo goo guy pan was also thrown away because the pancakes crumbled and it was overcooked and not well seasoned. Sixteen of the eighteen wings were thrown away because they tasted funny and their skin was yellow like when you let chicken sit out and it starts try out and turns bad. I usually would give these people another chance, but they apparently have no quality control when it comes to the food they sell. PS: I threw up Saturday night after that junk they sold me. If you value your health... I'd suggest going to a different Chinese takeout.

Food was average, service was awful. We ordered $80 worth of food. They gave us meat wontons when we ordered cheese wontons, gave us fried rice when we ordered white rice and didn't even give us the veggie lo mein we ordered. When we called them, the woman on the phone would only say we got what she remembered us ordering. We were not trying to scam them, we wanted to give back the incorrect food, but as I previously stated, she claimed we got what she "remembered" us ordering so there was nothing they could do.

Food was ok, do not order the crab ragoons. We ordered a beef dish and chicken dish. Both descriptions were not very accurate as my husband hates mushrooms and I dislike green peppers. Both of these ingredients were left out of the description, and if noted we would have asked to have the dish altered or ordered something else. They were very short handed. The hostess, answered calls while taking our order and delivered our food. They brought the food out too fast so we felt rushed to eat our soup and appetizers.

Wow! Thank you, Yelp!!! On business travel staying at one of the resorts in the area. Was craving Asian food and did a search for what was close by. Didn't really want to drive my rental car, saw this place delivers. Really good food, guys! Delivery was seamless and easy. I was able to unpack and get adjusted in my room and before I knew it, the food was here! What I ordered (a ton for one person, but I have a fridge and micro in my room): won ton soup (solid!), hot and sour soup (solid!), chicken chow fun (good, but needed additional seasoning...), Happy Family (delicious!). Portions are good and I'll have plenty to eat tomorrow. Their website has lots of different options...definitely recommend checking it out before you place your order. I've ordered take-out from lots of different Chinese delivery places before, and this one definitely knows what it's doing!

The food here is fresh and good! Im from Cali and I've been to many chinese restaurants and this one is pretty comparable! Most chinese restaurants around Orlando are pretty expensive but this one is reasonably priced. I only wished I found this restaurant sooner as im leaving tom! :(

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
