High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. The food at Taboon is very good. We ordered the Halloummi cheese which was yummy, artichoke hearts which were huge and you get a ton of them, and the Soujouk which are Armenian sausage. My husband said they were really good. I got the vegetarian platter which has falafel, hummus, taboulleh, baba ghannouge, grape leaves & labneh & it came with a ton of pitas. You also get to choose two sides which was unnecessary because it was already lots of food. All was delicious though. My husband got the NY strip. He said it was overcooked but still tasty. Also came with two sides. He got the pickles (nothing special) and cheese fries. They were tasty but seemed out of place at a Mediterranean restaurant. The place is nicely decorated and has a nice outdoor area. It is hidden in a plaza on Turkey Lake Rd. & hard to find. From the street it looks like it's just office buildings and there is only a tiny sign indicating what businesses are in there. And it looks like Taboon is the only thing there, nothing else has opened yet. We were there around 7ish on a Friday night & there was only one other table there. I hope business picks up for them & people are able to find their way there because the food is great.

The food is simply delicious. I will be going back there until I have tried everything on the menu. This evening I had the Baba Ghannouge, shawarma lamb with tabbouleh and rice. Finished off with coffee and dessert. The service was excellent and very attentive. Definitely recommend for a nice outing. Everyone including the manager and owner greeted me with welcome.

This hidden place is awesome!! My friend and I came to Orlando for vacation and tried this place on our third night here. Taboon Bistro doesn't have an obvious sign from the street and we were all like "is this really the place??" when we drove by. But the restaurant is actually sitting in between two building - the location makes it a little hard to be found. We ordered the Mixed Washawi Plate, which was very delicious. This is a fantastic restaurant. Don't miss out!

We were visiting orlando for vacation and found this restaurant on yelp. The staff verified, their meat is halal! Beautiful interior. Very friendly service. My husband and I got the middle eastern sausage appetizer and the mixed platter entree (forgot the exact names, sorry). The meat was juicy and very flavorful. The salad was fresh and refreshing. The entree portion was very generous could easily feed 2-3 people. On a side note- my husband claims the men's room is one of the nicest he's seen in a restaurant. I highly recommend giving the restaurant a try!!

This place is phenomenal! Real authentic middle eastern food, and by far the BEST place I've ever been to in Florida (been to Middle Eastern restaurants in Miami & Ft. Lauderdale). We ordered the Mezza platter; a combination of appetizers like hummus, tabbouleh, baba ghannoug, labneh, and falafel. Everything was delicious and remind me of the food back home specially the falafel. I ordered the lamp chops and it was excellent, cooked perfectly, had some amazing flavorings and spices, and tasted so good. My wife had the kafta platter with rice and vegetables and she loved it. Great baklava and other deserts all made in house fresh. Baklava is up to par. The service was great! The owner, Michael, is a great chef and always around and on top of everything. Our waitress was very good and friendly. Service was excellent. They definitely have a repeat customer even if it is a bit out of the way.

Several friends and I went here for dinner last night. Everyone raves about the hummus and how good it was. I ordered the Ribeye (medium-rare) with a double side of cheese fries. The food was absolutely wonderful and our waitress was awesome. This place is definitely a great place for a good meal. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the owner even came out to talk with us during our dinner. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Excellent mediterranean food, perfectly prepared. Halal(if that is important). I love their fried cauliflower. Worth the trip just for that. Shawermas are superb. Staff is eager to please. Sit outside and hear the fountain punctuated by joyful screams from the rollercoasters of Universal Studios(a very Orlando experience).

Great options at very reasonable prices. I have had the opportunity to dine in many middle eastern restaurants, and quite a few households as well, so I have the good fortune of having been exposed to this cuisine from a very early age. It is always gratifying to find a gem like Taboon, where an effort is made to stay original while still being able to please a diverse crowd. Service has been patient and informative, and the flavors are always intense albeit, not overwhelming. We are fortunate to have this place close and convenient as we quite enjoy spending time and eating here.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to! Not only do they offer you a 5 star treatment, the food is absolutely delicious for a great price. Taboon offers excellent customer service; they have the best staff I have seen in Orlando. The manager and chef visited our table multiple times with a welcoming smile and asked us about our experience and the food. The chef, Najib is absolutely amazing! He came to our table a few times and when we were ready to go after paying our bill, the server asked us to wait because Najib had a surprise for us. He brought us his very own self made dessert along with lamb chops( best of is kind) all on the house! :) i felt so welcoming! I am definitely becoming a regular here. I am glad I found taboon!

We enjoyed our first visit here! Service was very attentive and the restaurant manager was nice enough to inquire about our experience. The falafel was very tasty. It was accompanied by their homemade taziki sauce and some pickled turnips that had an amazing flavor. I had lamb and my boyfriend ordered the scallops everything was cooked to our liking. The only thing I didn't care for was my drink which was tequila based. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food. Amazing service. We will definitely be back! Prices were reasonable and the food quality was fantastic. The owner came out and greeted us, and multiple people came to check on us throughout our meal. Hidden little gem!

I have been to this restaurant several times, and without a doubt it is one of my favorite places to eat. The staff is always professional and friendly. The service is second to none and the food is amazing! I enjoy several items on the menu, but my personal favorite is the lamp chops. The menu provides a variety of dishes so there will be something for anyone in your party. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!

I have never had such deliciously seasoned and tender lamb chops. My wife had the chicken kebabs and they were unbelievable. This was the best Mediterranean food we have had in Orlando, and the restaurant is beautiful/extremely clean inside and outside. Service was great as well, and they have a full bar. Definitely coming back.
