My wife and I had a totally gastronomic experience dining at Tabla last night. The place is modern chic and contemporary decor. We were courteously shown to our booth and waiters came to tell us about the menu. We had decided to come here for Indian food and it was spectacular . Ordered the mixed kebabs and Tikas as appetizers and they were delicious. My wife fancied a dish called Chicken thansak (chicken in lentals with pineapple) which sadly was not on the menu. The chef came to the table and when we explained what we wanted, he went off to prepare the dish . I had lamb kadhi with a garlic nan. Wow wow wow , we were blown over with what came to the table. Succulently prepared chicken and spectacular lamb. Best we have had anywhere in U.S. This is fine upscale Indian dining at reasonable prices. Don't let the name Tabla (Indian, Chinese Thai) confuse you. I know they do great Indian so it would not surprise me if their other cuisine is just as good . They may have an naming identity issues but believe me their food is top class. Try their chocolate samosa and their mango tiranasu absolutely wonderful . Lacks a wine list and cocktail menu which they are working on. Service is excellent , food is spectacular. Go and check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Despite a yelp rating of only 3.5/5, we decided to give Tabla a try. We were blown away by everything we tried. We ordered gobhi manchurian for appetizer- the plate was clean within minutes! For entre, we ordered some paneer manchurian, chole and natural. We also got some of the plain yogurt as a side. Again, everything was delicious...yogurt at restaurants is always hit or miss- tends to be too sour most of the time. not at Tabla though...it was just the right amount of tang. For drinks, we ordered salted lassi, rum+coke, floods and a masala chai. Took leftovers home and had for lunch next day and it was still amazing!!

First time at this restaurant and it is now my new favorite indian restaurant. The food is amazing the tandoori chicken is spicy but delicious by far the best we've had. The staff was very nice, our waiter recommend a couple plates good choices! The garlic cilantro Naan was really good and the chicken korma was creamy. The place looks really nice it's a must come too.

This place does everything decadence. It is a perfect blend of aromas and unique fusion of flavors to tantalize your taste buds. The chef is notorious to make a simple dish that epitomizes a distinctive yet creative spin. His Chocolate samosa and sticky toffee pudding with Paan (betel leaf) are two gastronomic experience that everyone should try...TODAY! I would highly recommend this place full of deliciousness all around!

They renovated the place and it is just stunning. We went for a Dinner on a Saturday night and food was so good and quick. Presentation was top notch. Appetizers were so good and Biryani is the best in Orlando, we could feel the freshness of the food. Not to forget the lady who took our order, she took real good care of us listening carefully to our customized orders.

Don't let the outside fool you. This place was so nice inside. The food was pretty good. Except for the pad Thai my friend got. But that was her fault for ordering Thai at an Indian restaurant.

After feeling a little hesitant in having Indian for dinner last night because we've had so many bad experiences with indian restaurants in Orlando ... my husband and I decide to try Tabla. As soon as we walked in we were happy to see that finally someone has an understanding of how an Indian restaurant should look like in Florida. I've been to many and have owned a couple of the best Indian restaurants in the USA and know what to expect. Let's see what the food tastes like now. Well, I'll give the food a 4 out of 5. The only thing that i didn't like was that our Tandoori Mixed Grill came out on a plate rather than on a sizzler .. I like the sound and look of how it is on a sizzler.. However it still tasted awesome. I loved the small things that made Tabla stand out.. like the twisted spoons on the chutney bowls, the way the papadum was served and also loved the fresh plain yogurt. Our server Romario was outstanding. He made us feel very welcome and special. I totally recommend this place .. It's the best in Orlando hands down. Those other 12 Indian restaurants we've tried are a waste of money unless you like your curry to taste of tomato ketchup. We live in Jacksonville and can't wait to dine here again. :) A huge thanks to Dhiagu the manager for making our experience a memorable one!

Quick service, immaculate interior which has been recently updated and delicious food! We had their lunch special which was incredible! $9.99 for a ton of delicious, obviously homemade soup or salad, entree with rice, naan bread, and samosas or spring rolls AND a dessert! Mmmmm!!! While we were in the area for work, we will certainly be back for leisure as Tabla was a winner.
