I am so glad I found this place. This is my main Chinese take out place. Yes, the pricing is about a dollar more compared to other places around the area but it's completely worth it. Their food quality is much better compared others. (Trust me, I've gone searching). The service is very friendly to compliment their welcoming dining area . So, the deal is $5.99 for a generous portion for fresh Chinese chicken, quality fried rice, and an egg roll. For an extra dollar you can add on a side of soup. There's enough food packed in there last me for two whole days.

I often go there to have lunch. Always good and friendly. I definitely recommend.

FAVORITE place to eat in Orlando! I frequent it OFTEN! All you can eat, made to order sushi for $20, can't beat it! I had been gone for 3 years and the owner remembered me when I went back. Friendly staff and great food!!

Summer Palace has good Chinese food, and decent sushi but the best thing on the menu is their fried chicken wings. I don't know what they do to make them so delicious!!! They are on the appetizer menu and well worth the trip!

The restaurant itself is very clean. The staff however, seemed to be a bit pushy. I didn't understand why since I was the only one in the restaurant. I would definitely eat the Chinese food there over the sushi as it was just fair. The biggest thing is that they messed up my order and then only apologized. It's a good thing I like all kinds of sushi rolls.

I have to agree with Jen N. about this place. Not the best Chinese place and the sushi is just ok. The all u can eat for 19.95 sounds like a good value but first you must read the rules. I'm serious. You have a rule sheet to read first! The all you can eat menu is very limited so I ordered some nigiri from it. The biggest rice ball I've ever seen on nigiri with a small piece of fish on top. No value whatsoever. Must eat all the rice before ordering more or get charged .75 cents a piece. The rolls off the regular are about average. The place is clean and cozy and the people are so friendly and personable. I want to love this place. It's just so so. I will keep looking elsewhere though.

Usually I'm not a big fan of Chinese food. I typically find that the price to deliciousness ratio is never unite what I expect. That being said, my wife and I had some cashew chicken and lo mien delivered and it was pretty tasty. Not only that, but the protions were ridiculously large. My only complaint is that I asked for them go make the lo mien spicy, and I don't think that part of the order made it to the chef. Regardless of that point, we'll be ordering from Summer Palace again in the future.

Thumbs up. Sushi and Chinese at the same time. We had ala carte sushi, AYCE and an order of Kung Pao Chicken. The service was fast, friendly and accurate. The Nigri on the AYCE was limited in choices, but it covered the basics. The ala carte Nigri was complete and very reasonably priced at around 2.50 per piece. The Kung Pao was loaded with meat and fresh veggies that were not over cooked or drenched in sauce. If you are looking for high end sushi this is not the place for you. Three of us had a nice meal for $50 before cocktails.

I order take out from Summer Palace on occasion when I don't feel like driving all the down Colonial for more authentic Chinese food at Tasty Wok. Summer Palace is a legit dine-in/take out Chinese food restaurant for the Avalon Park/Waterford area. I prefer Summer Palace over the other spots that are located in Avalon Park by far. Their hot'n'sour soup looks like the average Chinese take out hot n sour soup, but has good flavor and a good amount of sour. Just the way I like it. Portions are also very generous. For a $13 Szechuan Beef dinner combo you get a choice of soup (you can sub for hot n sour for a small add-on) an egg roll, and cha siu (red roasted pork) fried rice. They give you an entire rectangular plastic container of the Szechuan Beef. Other places will put both the rice and your Szechuan Beef in that container for their combos. So Summer Palace doesn't skimp on portions. I haven't had their sushi, so i can't comment on that. They do an AYCE for $18, probably on a limited selection basis.

Very delicious Chinese food and it tasted hot and fresh and they were very polite quick delivery and the delivery boy was kind of cute ha ha

Wooowww...this had to be the crappiest dinner service I've experienced in a long time, and at like six thirty on a Friday night. My wife and I got the all you can eat sushi. Instead of service, at one point the one waiter is sitting down at one of the booths with the lady who makes the sushi, and they're both eating dinner. My wife and I sat there for twenty minutes waiting for them with empty plates and glasses. The front end manager was sitting behind the cash register stand playing on her phone. Wow. What a crappy place. Like, we were the only customers there and were literally being ignored.

Bland bland bland... This place was a total disappointment. The rice tasted like nothing, the pork in the rice tasted like it went bad and was reheated. I love egg rolls and theirs was a flop it was crisp on the outside but had cellophane noodles laced through out with little cabbage and bad tasting pork. The general tso was ok at best but so breaded there was little chicken. The highlight of the meal was the chicken wings totally plain but crispy.

Very good lunch deal but questionable service. This was my first trip to Summer Palace. My group of friends, 4 guys, all of us got the General Tso chicken since it's a safe choice for a Chinese restaurant. The waiter gave us menus and some paper forms to order sushi. When he took the order, he asked for the sushi forms back. I asked to keep it because, since the dinner price was double what the lunch price is, if it wasn't enough, I wanted to order a sushi roll. He begrudgingly left it. But every time he came to refill the drinks, he'd ask for it again. After the third time, I literally explained to him "I've never been here before and I might order sushi if the Tso is too small." Finally he seemed to understand and left. The egg drop soup was good and everyone seemed to enjoy the wonton soup. When the Tso arrived, while I was trying to make sure I'd gotten my proper meal, and since the table next to us was eating sushi and it looked good, I thought I'd order something. That's when I noticed that the sushi menu and order form was gone. The waiter'd gotten it when I wasn't looking. The meal was fine and ended up being filling, but I'd wished I'd order sushi anyway. When the check arrived, it wasn't split. When the server came back, he agreed to split it. Normally, any restaurant will split the check and bring as many itemized checks as requested for the customer. Not this guy. He took the check to the counter then came back without any checks, just took our cards, one at a time, and brought them back with the receipts to be signed. Nothing itemized. Just, here's what you've been charged. That's just weird. How would you know if you were overcharged or not? First of all, regarding the sushi menu, I shouldn't have to explain myself. Second, he shouldn't have asked for it back when I told him I wanted to hang on to it. He could clearly see that I was looking at it. My friends were looking at it too. They all assumed, like I did, that the portion would be half the size because it's half the price. Third, what restaurant doesn't bring itemized receipts? That's pretty standard. While the service was quick and polite overall, and he was very good about filling the water, I can't help but think that the only reason the water was filled so efficiently was so he could try to retrieve the sushi order form.

The sushi here is pretty good. They offer all you can eat sushi for $17.95. The food tastes fresh and their portions for non sushi items are pretty good as well. The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean.

I had previously said China Chef was the best Chinese takeout in East Orlando. I was wrong. Summer Palace has them beat by a mile. First off, they deliver. Yay convenience! They have the freshest vegetables and don't skimp out on meat or portions. It was honestly the best-tasting Chinese delivery I've had in a long time. I haven't tried the sushi or buffet but next time I definitely will.

Love Chinese food but is hard to find a place you want to come back ... well, I have been back not once but many times Great food, great prices and a friendly atmosphere. all the right ingredients for a good time, be in or take out Do not miss it!

Wife, daughter and I just finished happy hour sushi, drinks and an entrée. Very pleasant dining area. Service was fast. Cooked sushi rolls were crisp. Raw Sushi roll ingredients were all consistently cool. Nigiri sushi fish was fresh tasting and looked good. My daughter really liked the sweet potato sushi and the egg foo young- not a fish fan. Reasonable prices for beer and wine for happy hour. Quite a good find. No problem assigning 5 stars. Great for a family run, non chain local business.

I have finally found my favorite Chinese spot! This place is amazing! Good food, big portions, excellent service, this is definitely a hidden gem. Here's the breakdown: Food: The food is devine. I had General Tso's and usually I find that most places there's more breading than chicken. Not so much here. The chicken had just the right amount of meat and the spice was on point. The egg rolls were crispy and the sushi roll was amazingly fresh. Service: Excellent! It doesn't get any better. They are beyond professional and kind. I was really SUPER impressed because I've had such bad experiences at other places. Decor: I don't eat in here but to me the place is decorated very tastefully without being too cliche

The quality of the food has changed in past 3 years. Maybe the cook? Tso not good, hot sour soup not good, Mongolian chix -ok, overpriced I feel cheated! Up the street from me and when I'm home it's a regular eating spot.. Soo lets say twice a month. I have had a variety of things and never had a problem with anything. Very good spring rolls, and chicken wings believe it or not IF hot and fresh. (No delivery on those, that means) I would say a very consistent place. U know what ur getting as far as taste and quality at the summer P!!!!

I've eaten here several times, and have never been disappointed! Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the size of the portions. I've had items from their lunch menu, and it's one of the best in the area. If you are looking for a quick, tasty meal, you can not go wrong here!

  • Paul G.

Because you are lukewarm... I am about to spit you out of my mouth. -Revelation 3:16 Unfortunately, this place is just mediocre. It only gets three stars for the chicken wings. Everything else was just meh. We ordered Chicken 3 Ways (or whatever it was called). It wasn't even hot. I can't stand cold food! There is no excuse. Even if it were hot, though, it wouldn't have been that good. At least we had the chicken wings to fall back on. We won't be back unless we're in the area and really craving wings.

I was in one of those moods where I had no idea what I wanted but wanted to try some place I had not been. After looking up the places I bookmarked, Summer Palace was close by and I thought I would give it a whirl. As I was approaching the door I see a sign that says "All you can eat sushi" and thought... Yeah Right... I walk in and sat down at the sushi bar. I scanned the menu to see what the Chinese offerings were but the sushi in the case looked fresh so I ordered the "All you can eat sushi along with some miso soup and my usual iced tea. They did not have any lime so I had lemon with my tea this evening. While waiting for my miso soup I was brought some fried wonton strips with duck sauce to dip them in. It was different but I liked it. The miso soup was nothing special and a bit bland so I will skip it the next time I stop by. The sushi offered on the AYCE menu was a nice mixture of cooked and uncooked along with come nigiri offerings. I tried the spicy Tuna, spicy Salmon and Tuna and avocado rolls which are 8 pieces each. From the nigiri selection I had some Mackerel, Tuna, Escolar and Salmon. The presentation was a bit on the amateurish side and the rice could have been a wee bit stickier but the fish was good and fresh so for $18 I would call it a great deal if you are not looking for picture perfect sushi. Atmosphere - 3 Service - 4 Miso soup - 2 Spicy Tuna - 4 Spicy Salmon - 3 Tuna/Avocado - 2 Mackerel - 3 Tuna - 4 Escolar - 4 Salmon - 3 It is not the best sushi in town but if you are not nit picky on presentation, you will definitely leave happy. I saw several of the Chinese dishes served to the other tables and the food looked and smelled good so I will have to go back to check out the Chinese offerings...

Summer Palace is my families go to Chinese place. Mongolian beef is the best I have had and the sushi and everything I have had there is amaz-balls. Hot and sour soup is soooo good when you are sick too. Love you my summer of palaces.

The vegetable fried rice was very good! Had all key components of what fried rice should be: flavorful, crunchy vegetables, and colorful (I've had fried rice where it looks washed out or too dark due to too much sauce). One downside is that there water did not taste filtered. Overall, service was great and food was very delicious! I will recommend this place to my fiends and family.

My wife and I go here quite often for lunch. The food is always well prepared and the price is fantastic. $5.50 for lunch. How can you beat that? And surprisingly we never have to wait for a table. We've had just about everything on their lunch menu and several things off their dinner menu. Never been disappointed.

This is my favorite Chinese food place around here by far. It's not like the food they serve is totally different than the other places, but it is a step up from everyone else in quality. It just tastes better most of the time. It tastes fresher, and just had a better taste. I've eaten in there once, and it was nice, but I take out most of the time. And for a take out place, this is the best I have had. I'm not giving it five stars because it's take out, this isn't gourmet lol, but for what it is, it's pretty great. If you want takeout, this is the place to go. If you want something more authentic, there are plenty of asian food places around here. Mostly Thai and there's also a nice Korean place down alafaya past UCF called kimchi if you want to try Korean.

This our go to Chinese restaurant for the Waterford Lakes area. It's a mom and pop place and definitely beats out the usual chain/pay at the counter places. We have gone here for years and have always enjoyed our meals.

Very yummy and well priced. Im pretty simple and really love egg drop soup. I swear it helped me feel so much better when I was sick. Also their vegetables always taste fresh; a little crunchy with lots of flavor. Love!

We've always had a great experience with their take out. It has become our Sunday lunch by the pool choice. They actually follow special requests. I like mine very spicy and they now know the level if heat I like. Same for my wife for veggies she hates. The lunch specials are large portions. You can use the coupon for even more off. We usually try a different sushi each time. Not disappointed.

First off the food is great. Good quality fish, great sized portions. The service is HORRIBLE. Slow slow slow. I am a patient person, but when we go 10+ minutes just to get refills on drinks it just gets pathetic. I hope they fire all their servers and get ones that know how to be proper wait staff. While writing this, I have watched two tables sit for the past hour and they have NOT cleaned it off. Get your act together.

Read it as 3.5 stars. Compared to an authentic Chinese restaurant I'd give this only 2-3 stars, but for an American-Chinese fast food/takeout, meant mostly for convenience, I thought it was quite decent. It was fast, portions more than sufficient, service acceptable, with more comfortable seating than other places like this which usually have no booths or any semblance of decor. You pay a bit more for this. I am skeptical of places that offer mixed Asian fare e.g. Chinese/Japanese or Vietnamese/Thai etc it'd be like "specializing" in Italian & Greek cuisine or Cuban & Mexican. I guess they're capitalizing on Sushi-mania even though it's not Chinese, especially if people were asking for it. But I guess it's added income. I doubt they're worried about opinions like mine on this, since I saw a pretty steady stream of people picking up orders. I notice it's becoming pretty common. Before you know it, even Mickey D's will have a Sushi combo at the drive through. I had a vegetarian dish, Buddha's Delight (fried tofu and mixed vegetables stir fried in a sauce ) and Seafood Pan-fried Noodles. I've had the Buddha's Delight before, but remember it being much better. It was still pretty good, and the amount of tofu was generous. I ordered Conch Nigiri out of curiosity about the dual cuisine. The waitress brought Octopus instead ( conch, octopus, what's the diff right? Lol) which she replaced. It was not done as the Japanese make it, presentation was sloppy but tasted okay. The conch was chunky and very unevenly sliced. The rice in it was loose and fell apart with chopsticks. The seafood pan fried noodles was a mildly flavored dish as is the norm, though was a bit too mild I thought. The portions of shrimp and lobster in it were also generous, but I thought using Krab brought the dish down. Better not to include it at all or for the price $17+ could've used even a small amount of real crab. In summary, for a midweek, fast dinner it was better than most of the other takeout-type American-style Chinese food places in the area.

Summer "Palace"? Maybe for insects. I had eaten here a couple times over the last few years and was never really impressed but it seemed ok. Last week I was sick and this was on the way home and I just wanted vegetable soup. I figured you can't really screw up vegetable soup, right? WRONG. There was a six-legged insect in my bowl of soup. See the photo! Also, I decided to try the Ma Po Tofu. Mistake. It was so, so gross. So. Disgusting. It was chunks of soft, undercooked tofu that tasted like dishwater absolutely DROWNED in a goopy thick weird-tasting brown sauce. It was almost more like a stew. I had symptoms of food poisoning the next day. Will. Not. Return.

Not a fan. Our server could barely speak English but she was nice. The lo mein was just okay as was the egg drop soup. Don't order the duck...seemed like it was frozen for a long time. Sushi is also not too great.

The food here is amazing and they actually deliver to Stonebrook- which I love! I recommend anything on their menu except for the Spring Rolls (too greasy)!

  • Lina M.

Dismal. Sorry, but I'm Chinese and I heard good things about this place from a friend so I had some high expectations. Having any expectation was going to result in disappointment. Food was delivered after an hour when they said 40-45 mins. I ordered the beef chow fun. It was bland and cold. Really, really bland and the noodles were crusted and hard. I know it's gotten good reviews but I would never come back here. Just my own opinion. Oh, and it was overpriced.

Not a fan of this place. We went last night with my family and the food was not good. Everything was bland and really not good. The wonton soup was watered down and had no flavor. The beef and broccoli was mushy and again lacked flavor. Overall I would not recommend this place.

I was very impressed with this restaurant considering the size. The sushi was great and there is a great variety of pan Asian dishes to choose from. What really stood out oddly enough was the chicken wings. These are seriously some of the best I've ever had across any type of cuisine. The staff is very friendly and remember us and our preferences when we go. I'm glad I found this place and will make it a regular stop.

I looove this place, and I have not had the sushi yet! I love their lychee sake and the duck, although every other dish I had there is excellent: the food comes in these cute bento boxes if you are dining in.Super fast and friendly service, I used to have lunch there often when I worked in that area.

  • Jeff K.

Okay, color me surprised. There's actually some decent sushi here. The reason I'm surprised at this is because it has an all-you-can-eat sushi option. Places like that just don't normally have good sushi. And from what I tasted, this restaurant has sushi that in the high 3-star, possibly low 4-star range. Not bad at all. The dining area is small, the sushi bar was smaller, and as a whole it was all decorated in a typically typical fashion. So I came in for lunch. I'm not an all-you-can-eat kind of guy, so I asked for the normal menu. I ordered an iced tea (odd, the only kind they had was sweetened raspberry tea, but I ordered it anyway even though I like it unsweetened) and two rolls: The Summer Palace roll [see photo] and the I-don't-remember-the-name Roll with tuna, avocado, and cucumber. Prices were very reasonable with the Summer Palace Roll coming in at $11 (one of the more expensive ones on the list) and the other roll coming in at about $7. The Summer Palace Roll was quite a bit bigger than I expected, and had a very good flavor to it. The down side to them was that 1) the rice was VERY sticky, often causing difficulty in removing the pieces from the tray, and 2) they didn't fully close at the bottom and when you picked one up you had to be careful because the bottom would always open up into a horseshoe shape, and you stood the chance of losing the roll's contents onto the tray. It's a good spot for lunch if you're craving sushi but you're in a hurry though -- the lady making the sushi was FAST! I had my order in front of me less than 10 minutes after ordering. In summary, for its particular pricing tier it's in the 4-star range as soon as those structural integrity issues are fixed.

Best in the area!!! More expensive than others but you get what you pay for. We had beef and broccoli, general Tao chicken, shrimp and veggies. All excellent quality. Fried Rice, egg rolls and wonton soup was excellent as well. Will return. Btw- you can definitely feed a family of four with two combination dinners. $12-$13 each BUT huge.

I don't understand where all those stars are coming from. Different management? Different chef? Is take-out so much different from eat-in? Because I gotta tell you ... I would never order take-out from here again. Would I try eat-in? Sushi? I'd have to be heavily intoxicated before I gave them a second chance. I mean, if they can't get a miso soup recipe right ... come on ... a white broth, obviously chicken based with a taste of fish and dirty sponge -probably from a quickly rinsed wok where their fish was made. It reminded me of trying to get a fifth cup of tea from a single tea-bag. It was absolutely sickening. I prefer the freeze-dried, pour hot water on it and make it yourself kind compared to this overpriced barf-bowl. I poured it down the drain where it may have come from. Pork-fried rice? No. Bacon and pork fat fried rice. House Chicken. A specialty? Oh my effin god ... chicken was tasteless, no hint of any xaozing cooking wine, and asparagus (ASPARAGUS?) the size of baby carrots. Beef in Szechuan sauce? So many green and red peppers (cut 1.5 inch cubes) and a generic sauce flavored with hot sauce (and not even enough to give it a hope of being Szechuan) and flank steak that was probably cooked in a large vat hours before service, I'm not even saving it for the usual midnight snack. Hot and sour soup which was mediocre in both respects. A soggy egg roll that easily could have been Tostino's. You know that joke about after an hour of eating Chinese you want to eat more? This place alone could get rid of that stereotype. That being said, don't listen to me with regards to eat-in. The two are often very different experiences. Should they be? No. Not when it comes to quality. However, if there has been a seismic change in management or personnel since the last postings ... beware!

I live down the street from this restaurant and I absolutely love it! My fiancé has actually said on prior occasions that "If I could live there, I would". I mean come on ... awesome all-you-can-eat sushi for $19.95!?!?! You can't beat that deal. The restaurant is small but defiantly packs a punch. Both their Chinese food and Sushi are the best in Avalon Park/Waterford Lakes. Service is always very prompt and the staff is very friendly. The all-you-can-eat menu is rather large and has a very good selection in both sushi and nigiri. Be warned though, if you don't finish the sushi you order from the all-you-can-eat menu, they charge you per piece left over. Luckily, I've never been charged, because I completely clear my plate. :-) The Chinese food is a little on the pricey side, but the quality and quantity seem better then any other Chinese take-out in the area . I definitely recommend trying Summer Palace.

The best Chinese food in all Orlando. Friendly staff, efficient, and attentive. Have eaten here many times both dine in and take out. The food is always fresh and delicious. Have loved the Egg Foo Young, Garlic Chicken, Chicken with Broccoli. Will also customize most items with different sauces on request.

IIve been here for lunch several times, the Spicy szechuan shrimp portions were huge, pork roll was delish & not as greasey as the springroll. Their homerun meal for me is the spicy beef w vegs, all meals Ive tried for lunch have been a feast, generosity on portions is not an issue here. Service from owner & her waitresses have been very good.

My friends wanted to check out the AYCE sushi special ($19.95/person) at Summer Palace so we tried it out the other night for dinner. The restaurant is very small, clean, and got pretty busy for a week night. The sushi menu was very limited but it did offer nigiri and basic sushi rolls. There was only one person behind the sushi bar and I must say, we were very surprised by the quickness at which our orders came out. However, I thought there was too much rice packed in each roll so by the end of our dinner, my small plate was about half-covered with leftover rice that I took off from my sushi pieces. Considering that it was AYCE, I didn't want to get too full from eating that extra amount of rice. The taste of the fish was decent but I've definitely had better. Summer Palace also serves traditional Chinese dishes which I thought was a little pricey compared to your typical Chinese take-out spots. But then again, I am comparing it to Chinese take-out. Our server was super friendly and the other employees also made us feel very welcome, too.

I dined alone tonight at Summer Palace to try out a local place near me. I recently moved to the area. I'm a big fan of Chinese food, but this place doesn't do it for me. The service was great...very few people in the place on a Tuesday night, so the server was attentive with the water and anything else I needed. The atmosphere is nice..it's a small place, but the booths are nice and it's a pleasant change from the usual fast-food type Chinese places with the florescent lighting. The niceness of it all ended there for me. I had wonton soup and moo goo gai pan. The soup was fine, but my entree was not. The texture of the chicken was unlike anything I've ever experienced. Although it was definitely cooked all the way through, the chicken was chewy, as if it were still raw. It was really strange. I didn't even want to eat it, it was so chewy and odd. I mostly stuck to the vegetables in the dish, which were fine. I will say one positive thing about the entree, though: there was a lot of it. I eat a good amount and there was enough there for me to eat for 2-3 meals. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish (the sushi there seems to be popular), but it will be a while before I come back again, if ever.

This is a decent, small place for lunch with super fast service. The rolls are good and fresh and the chinese food is decent. Here are some favorites: * Spicy Salmon Roll - This is a quiet winner. The roll is simple: salmon marinated in a spicy sauce. The flavor is out of this world! * Lobster Roll - tempura lobster and caviar. What's not to love? * Pineapple Roll - tempura shrimp with a pineapple topping. This is a-ok but needs a little more in the flavor department next to the shrimp. * Sweet Potato Roll - tempura sweet potato! Yum!!!

This restaurant is very small (in a shopping center next to WalMart Neighborhood Market at the corner of Alafaya Trail and Curry Ford Road). What brought me here was the all-you-can-eat sushi. And it doesn't disappoint. The food is good, service is good, restaurant is clean - pretty much everything you look for in a restaurant, right?

Still a loyal customer and still order delivery every week! Vivian the owner is wonderful. They have added new Sushi options that are delicious! Try the Pina Colada or the Sweet Potato Roll. Yum!

I had lunch at Summer Palace, and I was very impressed. The food was very good, served in a bento box (cute!) and reasonably priced. We enjoyed 2 sushi rolls as well, and they tasted fresh and were very good. We would have had the all-you-can-eat sushi special ($19.99), but that is a bit expensive for our taste - especially for lunch. I'd definitely go back again to Summer Palace!

after living in orlando for 6 months, i'm so pleased that i finally found my go-to STRP (spicy tuna roll place)! i can't speak for the chinese food, but both take-out and dine-in sushi are super fast and really good. they've added some new rolls recently - my friend and i tried a lobster tempura one a few weeks ago that was absolutely delicious! the place is small but is a really nice and cozy spot to grab a bite.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
