Lols, I should have told them ''keep your bread!'' ... but I'm such a chicken .... It's super late and my stomach starts growling, time to hit up food nearby! Subways didn't sound too bad, and they were open.. so I walked into the shop= instead of a courteous ''hello'' I received ''what do you want?'' instead. That's understandable, you've been working all day and you're grumpy.. plus you're probably on minimum wage ''no big deal'' I thought quietly to myself. I chose the grilled chicken flat bread 6 inch sub, and the guy mysterious disappeared for a good minute before he returned with the bread. ''Maybe he had to open a new package and it got stuck'' I thought to myself.. You see I'm very generous giving ''what ifs'' to this fellow! Okay.. so I totally did NOT want my sandwich baked (because I personally prefer the flat bread cold = doesn't turn hard once expose to air..) however this wasn't an option at this location because the worker just threw it into the oven without asking beforehand. How sad. . . . I then proceeded, like any good chain restaurant.., to the topping bar. Only, this topping bar was being already cleaned up way before closing time. (I presumed they were 'wiping' it to keep in clean) I CLEARLY saw the other half of the toppings placed over on the counter behind the worker. So I asked for ''Tomatoes, Red onions and Green peppers (bc I saw them over on the counter)'' Guess what he said? ... ''We ran out of tomatoes, red onions and green peppers'' and for the toppings I DID ask for: spinach (4 leaves), cucumbers (2 slices) were..as you saw..very SKIMPY. I paid for my lame sad meal, and although it wasn't that expensive compared to other sandwiches, it was net worth probably 10 cents (bread) + spinach+cucumber (5 cents) + processed chicken (1 dollar) = 1.15 cents (and that's on a real person's budget) if you buy it in bulk it's probably like 50 cents.. Final words: Do not come here, unless you want a 4 spinach leaved, 2 sliced cucumber filled sandwich. I understand it's FAST FOOD and I mean, what am I going to expect?! But I am kind of upset with the service+ limitation I was given as far as filling. I like Subways in general, but other locations have given me a healthy portion of fillings so it was all good..what the heck happened to this location? Maybe I went at the wrong time? (If I came say ten minutes later would there be the full topping bar there to pick from?) Regardless of these hypothetical theories, I was a paying customer and the service I was given was unacceptable. There were problems that could have been fixed then and there but were not.

To be honest, I like getting my food to me quickly but feeling like I'm in a hog trof is a bit much. The staff are not rude but not friendly either. Most of them are very quick to get the food on the plate and shove it over as quick as possible. The two big problems with this place is that they don't take any coupons or discount cards and they are very skimpy on the darn veggies... 3 or 4 leaves of lettuce... a olive..... maybe two if you luck. Rrrr!

Very busy. If you want something quick and simple come here. You would not wait longer than five minutes to get your sandwich. Staff here are also friendly.

If you like Subway, you're going to have an easy time in UCF with three separate locations around campus, one in the gym, one over at Towers, and one in the heart of campus: Student Union. This review is going to be of the last one of course. Overall, I recommend the place and it's one of my staples for dining while on campus and for good reason: Decent sandwiches and price range (look out for any possible specials or sales they have; it's almost always worth it) and fair amounts of waiting time given how busy they get. The place is kept clean and tidy so while you won't get any cozy vibes here, it's professional and well done. The staff can be rather inconsistent; there are those who know full well what they're doing and if you have them enough, you start taking things for granted and get surprised when someone either new on the job or just less competent forgets to do a quality check and ask you if you're satisfied with the sub before packing it up. There are also occasionally people who shouldn't be at the register as they cannot count cash and/or change. Despite the specks of imperfection, Subway is easily one of the best places for food in the Student Union and the volume of people - as well as the need for two assembly lines - speaks for its success. As a brief endnote to those who complain about staff skimping on some veggies, just ask for more. They'll oblige and I've never got a dirty look for wanting a bit more.

This particular subway is located inside the university of central Florida,service was fast but they we're running Out of bread at 8pm. The staff was not super friendly like someone said previously on here,they got the job done and my sandwich was made proper but they were stingy on the olives and other stuff but overall it was not a bad experience eating here. The inside looked well maintained and clean and they had plenty of chips and ingredients to put on your sub minus the limited amount of bread. Three stars for employees lacking some friendliness and barely any bread left around 8pm.
