I have probably been to this store more times than I would care to admit but since I have started Yelping I have been sharing my experiences at places I have been. The last few days I have been missing my Starbucks so I took my notebook with me so I could get some work done and get my fix at the same time. This store has been revamped twice since I have been coming to it. The staff is always friendly but as the baristas graduate, they are replaced so there are always fresh faces. This store is very busy at times but rarely have I had to wait more than 10 minutes but I try to avoid the 8am and 5pm rushes whenever possible. Those are the times you might actually have to wait a little longer but not much. The coffee is always consistent and the store is well maintained. The people that go there are a mix of all ages but always friendly. I have never run into an unsavory character in all of my visits there so I doubt you will as well. What you will run into are many college students or business professionals getting their cup of Joe. Over time I have sampled most of the items they sell and the quality is consistent but they could do away with the microwaved sandwiches to be blunt. Their selection of sweets is nice and usually fresh. This store is so busy I doubt things sit in the display case more than a day or two. One thing is for sure... I have put a lot of swipes on my gold card at this store! lol

It's not the coffee--the coffee is reliably delicious. But the line! The line is out the door! Then--even though I've only ordered a simple iced coffee, black, I have to wait for all these frappuccinos to get blended--a further 5-10 minute wait for what really is just someone pouring delicious iced coffee into a cup and dropping in a few ice cubes. So, my review hasn't changed much, but my tolerance for ongoing underwhelming performance has.

The service is always great whenever I visit this location. The location is ideal for many of the college students; free WiFi, many tables, several electrical outlets, private parking lot, FedEx store next door, and outdoor seating (including umbrella). Although there's usually a line, the baristas work fast to take your order and provide you your cup-of-yummiest (cold or hot). Note there isn't a drive-up/through facility.

I entered this Starbucks at around 11:00 AM on a Thursday, thinking that the morning rush would be gone, but I was so wrong. There was a line to the back of the café. I had already struggled for parking, so I decided to stay and jump in line. It did not go by fast, but it was not as slow as I expected. When I reached the cashier, I asked her if I can use a promo code (I'm a novice to the whole Starbucks scene). She was nice, but had that "duh, Stupid" sound to her voice when she replied. I placed my order and she asked for my app to pay, and it accepted the code. I was not sure if I needed to scan it again to pay or if the scan took the discount AND paid at the same time. I stood there for a minute and she said, "Next!", so I guess that was my queue to get out of her line. When I headed to the pick-up side, it was a little crowded, but there was room for me to wait at the end of the counter. I watched over the baristas as they deciphered the codes written on the side of the cups and hastily built the creations. They called the orders out either by customer name or specific drink. I finally received my drink and sandwich and I was on my way. This location is in a busy area, so it's expected to be a little packed, but it was rather organized and I did not witness anyone complaining about their orders. They could use a little more manpower since it is in a high-traffic area.

I like the overall location of this Starbucks and that it is within Waterford lakes but if you're looking to grab a quick cup of coffee avoid this location. I've been to this location on several occasions and it is hit or miss. It's never consistent on when it's busy and when it's not so I can't say to avoid certain hours but it has been random for me. They have several high tops and tables (indoor and outdoor) but not the ideal location if you're looking to study or work. Tables sometimes can be hard to come around as they are always full. The staff is friendly and work as quick as they can to prepare your drink but they could service the tables and cream and sugar stand more frequently as they are always dirty. I would say this location is busier than slow so come with time and patience.

I've read the mixed reviews of this particular Starbucks. The times i've visited hasn't been that bad. I would say the traffic of people coming in the venue is pretty high which puts on a anxious mood and the cleaning of the areas get's a little sloppy sometimes, but overall when you need that quick fix of coffee and it has to be Starbucks you're in the area, trust me the baristas get the job done quickly. With your drink you won't be dissapointed.

Not my favorite location but it's close to my home so it's convinient when heading to work. For the most part everyone has been nice whenever I come in. It stays busy day/night, for the amount of traffic they have I feel like they could move a little quicker. Some of the Baristas tend to forget the cup sleeve when handing the customer there coffee so you have to remember to get one so you won't burn yourself (other locations put them on for you)

Why wud a cashier think it is ok to handle my drink cup by putting her bare finger inside it when she picks it up to write my name on it??! Is this poor training, ignorance, or a matter of who gives a crap? Come on Starbucks, you owe your customers better. Filthy coins, great coffee = YUK!

This has got to be the busiest Starbucks I have ever seen! Even locations in the heart of downtown Orlando do not seem to get the constant traffic this place gets. There is always a line. Being that this location is also in Waterford Lakes, parking and traffic are horrible. They seriously need an employee just to clean up the common areas and keep cream and sugar stocked. This location strives on getting you in and out, so if you want a leisurely experience, don't bother. Hit up a small, local coffee shop for a better time. The coffee is fine, however. Usually most of the pastries are gone, but the drinks I've ordered were all correct. I will stop in if I am seriously in need of a latte, but I'm glad Dunkin Donuts isn't too far down the road.

Always ridiculous lines at this location! Staff is very slow also. Hate when I have to go to this location. Would rather wait until target opens for my coffee because the target Starbucks is friendlier and makes the coffee better!

The reason for the rating I gave is they never clean the tables or take out the trash. I've never been to a dirtier location. Most of the time the trash is running over so people leave trash on the tables and all over the sugar cart. A girl yesterday dropped her drink all over the floor and they were immediately notified of the spill but it took them over a hour before they came and cleaned it up. The service is good but they need more help. With only 2 people working most of the time you'll have a line. I like Starbucks coffee but I think that this location needs some attention. I study there almost daily and it's a good place to go if you don't mind waiting for a table or cleaning it yourself. The staff is nice and fast with your orders.

This Starbucks location is difficult to find parking in and there were issues with the drinks and personnel as well. The drinks were incorrectly made and we were in a rush so we couldn't get it fixed. Even though we were in a rush, it took 10 minutes to get a refresher and a cup of brewed coffee. Very unimpressed with them.

Always busy. Between the collage students and the Waterford Lakes shoppers this Starbucks always has a line. The coffee is good but basically just like every other Starbucks. I go here ever once in awhile but is not my favorite Starbucks to go too.

This a busy and small Starbucks, but it's a great place. Staff is always great and will make it right if it doesn't come out the way you like it.

Great service even during the morning rush. Austin makes the best lattes, never too hot and actually takes the time to stir the drinks and top frappacinos with designs before handing them off, all in a timely manner. :)

This is one busy Starbucks. Not one of those where you can sit back and read with a cup of coffee in one hand. If you plan to study or do work and expect a place to sit, come early. The Baristas are great and the drinks are what you expect so that's the plus side though I think they need additional help so they can tidy up better, empty the trash which is overflowing a lot of times, and the tables often times with empty cups.

I usually love my Starbucks experiences. This one, however, was, while being staffed with enough employees to handle the high volume, operated very slowly with a seemingly chaotic panic going on behind the coffee bar. Those ringing up on the register should be properly trained before flying solo; twice I was almost charged for something I didn't order (I'm assuming this would have also led to a drink made incorrectly). Being in Waterford Lakes, so close to one of the nations biggest universities, this store should have the staff to efficiently handle the traffic they experience. They are definitely generating the revenue to cover the payroll expenses.

The staff is really nice however, takes about one year to get your drink. Waited 20-30 mins for my drink... Ridiculous and the company should definitely do something about this since this location is obviously very busy.

The service is amazing.... Tracy, Cindy, Nancy and Jen remember who I am, when i pull up they already have my cup filled out and in the cue! They are super friendly and lots of fun. Parking is awful and the store is small, but the quality of the staff makes up for it.

When I stumble in this place with one eye open, exhausted from working on projects the night before and now I have to be wide awake for work I am always greeted with a smile and a beverage before I've even had a chance to order. They know their regulars. I could make my own tea at work but I'd rather come here. Service is always friendly and they have a great retail and food section. The only drawbacks are the parking and the fact that it is soooooo busy. It's not the Starbucks I head to when I want to do some work while drinking my caffeine. There is also a Starbucks right across from UCF but given the volume of students and shoppers they could drop a few more locations in the area and make the money.

Super crowded, always. Flamboyant male servers and limited parking. Luckily my hubby will go by and grab me a chai most of the time as a surprise but we Fread having to go in. Wish they had a drive thru. But the drinks have always been good.

Way too small of a store for the volume of customers. Always busy and it takes forever to get a drink most of the time. Drinks are consistently good quality and taste, however.

My only complaint is no drive thru. I like the drive thrus when I am on my way to work in the morning. Otherwise same great coffee with a smile!

A small Starbucks, but a special one. The baristas here have fun personalities and they try real hard. Always busy.

Well, what can I say. It's a Starbucks, and a rather small one at that. I can never go in there and find an empty table that isn't crammed with a group of students camping out there for the free WiFi. This also includes the outside tables. It's annoying to get a coffee or some cake and not be able to sit down to enjoy it. My recommendation: Take your coffee and cake to go.

Under normal circumstances, I'd give this Starbucks 3 stars. This is probably the most inconvenient Starbucks I've ever visited. It's in the Northwest corner of Waterford Lakes in the section that's really difficult to safely get in and out of if you're driving. Most of the time, we end up parking over by Best Buy and just walking over to this one. Parking in the actual section is difficult as the lot is very small and the most commonly used entrance (next to Chase Bank) is right next to a main entrance where cars are constantly coming through. In addition to being really inconveniently located, it's also very small. There are very few places to sit if you want to sit and relax with your drink or snack. Even if you do find a place, everything is so small that you constantly feel cramped. The staff here is relatively quick and they're friendly enough - but nothing exceptional. The only reason this location gets bumped to four stars is because this is where I was approached by a casting agent for a role as an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3 (I only ended up being in 3). Unfortunately, I haven't seen that guy in this location since, so don't go in expecting to get discovered.

My go-to spot for studying for the GMAT. Good service, small and intimate, and usually a good crowd. Nothing like a good pick me up in a trendy environment to study for a test!

The particular workers I spoke with dont know how to "think outside the box" to provide good customer service. Once again I'm dealing with typical Orlando customer service- mediocrity with a lack of brain cells utilized, so I actually shouldn't be surprised.

This area is famous for congestion. It is no surprise that this SBux is always friggin packed with a line out the door and no shortage of cheapskates hogging the tables and chairs and sucking up the free WiFi. Parking is a mess and you may get run over crossing it to get into this joint.

I love this Starbucks, for a while I was stopping there every day before work. Every one knows Starbucks coffee is good, so I'm just writing this review about their new breakfast sandwich! I had a few of their breakfast sandwiches before, and there was one that I thought was disgusting...and the good news is, its been replaces by the Egg, Veggie and Monterrey Jack Cheese sandwich, which was great! Made me come write a review, so you know its good! This particular Starbucks always makes me smile, the same guy has been making drinks there since I've been going, almost 3 years, and he is so very nice. Even though I hadn't been in a month, he still remembered me...ok, maybe he didn't, but he made me feel like he did. The woman taking coffee orders remembered some of the other regular orders, which I always find to be nice, it shows they care. Yes, it is a small location, but its great for picking up coffee on the way to work. The one day before the holiday I went in and was about 12th in line, and was still out of there in time for work. There are three Starbucks in this plaza (Target, Barnes and Noble, and the standalone) and a Barnie's coffee too...but I always hit this one!

Because this is the Starbucks closest to my house, I am in and out of it rather frequently. As such, it is definitely not the best Starbucks location I have ever been to. First off, the location in the Waterford Lakes plaza is inconvenient. It is located right next to a Chase bank, which is constantly busy (especially during the late afternoon hours). Also, the parking in front of and around the store is limited, and I've noticed that even the delivery trucks have a difficult time getting in and out. Additionally, the store itself is way too small for the Waterford Lakes community. There are so many people who live out here, not to mention visitors who are just going to the mall. The result is that this Starbucks is ALWAYS full of people and there is usually a hefty lineup to get a drink at any given time. Just a tip: don't go to this Starbucks if you're in a rush. But I will say that I've never had a horribly made drink here, which is usually rare for any place I've been to multiple times. And also, the hours are great...this Starbucks stays open much later than most other coffee shops in the area. EDIT: This Starbucks recently underwent a full indoor remodel. The store now feels much more open and welcoming. Perhaps this well help deal with the overcrowding problem. If I could I would up my rating to 2 and a half stars.

This is the closest Starbucks to my house and one of the busiest. I'm actually very surprised that we only have 1 Starbucks location in the Waterford Lakes/Rio Pinar/Union Park area. This Starbucks is always busy no matter what time of day, so good luck getting a table inside or out. The staff is friendly and there is usually always the appropriate amount of staff scheduled so the lines don't get too long.

WORST. STARBUCKS. EVER! I don't know if I came there on their bad day but I don't even care, their service, or lack of service I should say, was completely unacceptable! I went there about a year ago during the holidays (I remembered because of the specialty drinks) and ordered some coffees with my friends. A few customers ordered drinks right after us. My friends received their drinks just fine but I sat there for 15 minutes empty handed until I finally decided to ask the whereabouts of my drink and it turns out, they had given it to someone else. Ok. I realized people make mistakes so I just asked for another one. Again, I'm waiting 15 minutes and they call my name and it literally tasted like one of those instant hot cocoas. It definitely was not the specialty drink I ordered. When I expressed my impatience and displeasure, they looked at me like I was the one being unreasonable. They even started giving us an attitude and responded very brusquely. The insincerity of their one apology was very obvious. I was just appalled with the way every single employee was acting like it was no big deal. I was just a paying customer, after all, who had been waiting for her drink for half an hour. I finally received my drink--which still didn't taste right, but I didn't feel like wasting my time with them again. My friends and I left, intent on calling and complaining to their district manager or whoever was in charge because they were all obviously new on the job. However the phone-in complaint was taking too long and my patience had run out so now I'm finally posting it up here.

This is my favorite neighborhood Starbucks. Great staff and a diverse customer base. I agree that it is hard to find an empty table at times. Then again, I wouldn't like walking into an empty coffee shop either. In the past people were able to get Wi-Fi signals from neighboring stores, not anymore, now you have to go through T-Mobile or AT&T.
