Wow this place is busier than Times Square! This Starbucks at Universal I think has 4 barista stations so they are definitely high capacity. Food service is good but all coming from the back so it might be a little slow. Ordered coffee at about 10:30pm and they had none brewed, which sounds kind of odd. They had to do a pour-over, but it was fine. I think on a hot summer day people are looking for cold drinks, and they do a great job getting those out. Lots of space inside and out for relaxing, and the place was pretty spotless. A great place for both an evening treat or breakfast.

Don't be fooled by the Starbucks sign. This is,not a real starbucks. It doesnt honor starbucks gold , they don't know the difference between tall and grande, and can't get orders correct even with their fancy computered ordering system. They got 2 out of seven orders, correct. if you DO get suckered in by the sign and the smell, skip the smoothies. Ewww. spoiled bananas don't taste good no matter how, much ice you stick in the smoothie. Find your coffee elsewhere on the Universal Citywalk.

Unbelievable lines at this location. Getting a coffee can take an hour. Do yourself a favor and find coffee elsewhere. Saturday nights at this Starbucks seem to be the hangout spot for all the teeny boppers that can't get into the bars. The only reason they get the two stars is because the decor is nice and the please is huge. But good luck finding indoor seating!

This Starbucks is a few months old at City Walk. It was located upstairs in a smaller venue. Now the venue size has increased with a very much nicer interior. As mentioned in other posts, this Starbucks has 4 barista stations & can still be busy at times. I gave it 3 Stars because of it doesn't have working Wifi for my laptop, is dirty at times, long lines sometimes, & you can't use your Starbucks rewards here. Overall, it's ok. This Starbucks won't honor Starbucks rewards, however, if you use your Starbucks card, you still earn a star. It's own by Universal, that is why you can't use your rewards here or any Starbucks at Universal. I've been a few times & I haven't experienced any problems. Yeah the line is a little long (About 5 minute wait for my past experiences), but the line does move quickly. The beverages taste great like always. They have a lot of seating inside with outlets on the seats at the bottom with tables in front. This is nice place to recharge your phone or work on your laptop. There is outside seating as well with a large number of tables. I wouldn't recommend stopping here before or after park closings because this is when it gets busy. Come inside this place to look at all the beautiful decor.

Friendly and quick. Carlos was super nice and took time to tell us about Starbuck's history and roasting process.

Clean and huge! The baristas were nice. Since I'm a gold card member, I decided to use my reward. I told the barista I wanted to redeem my free drink and she decided to swipe my card and told me I had a balance. I mean, I don't mind since I can use the reward when I'm back in SF but still! Anyways, my caramel frappe came out wayyyyyy too sweet.

Such a long wait for a cup of coffee. I blame it on all the tourists (I being one of them, and the Spring Breakers). But, why does it take them 15 minutes to make an iced latte? I'll never know......

My son had read about a secret Starbucks menu and he was dying to try the cotton candy flavored Frappucino! We stopped here to see if they knew what he was talking about. Sure enough they did! The girl was very friendly, explained the ingredients to him and made his day with a delicious concoction! On a hot day it was exactly what he needed! Thanks awesome Starbucks girl!

Perfect spot for a Starbucks right smack dab in the middle of CityWalk. Head up to the second floor as you're entering CityWalk and you'll find it. It does get crowded, but it's nice that it's upstairs and out of the way of the majority of the traffic. Even though you may have had some coffee at breakfast or at your hotel/resort before heading to Universal Studios, most of us (me included), need another little boost to get us going in the AM. Service is pretty darn good here. I'm amazed the baristas can keep up with the insane number of tourists they encounter on a daily basis. It may take a little longer to get your latte than at your usual Starbucks, but you'll get it fast enough and it will be made correctly. 2 thumbs up for this Starbucks and the baristas who keep it running smoothly!

Very Disappointed! They don't accept the rewards from the Starbucks rewards program and I waited in line for nothing. I gave it two stars instead of one because it was nice inside.

This review is for the super new Starbucks on the ground level of CityWalk. It's beautiful inside with high ceilings and numerous tables and...it's just very impressive. However, after we ordered it took a good 15mins to receive our drinks as two of associates were training and they.......were......slow. It was pathetic. I understand that you need to train associates in a live setting, but to allow them to absolutely flounder while the manager walks around (he finally decided to actually help out) was unacceptable. Bah!

  • Linda P.

By far the worse Starbucks I've ever encountered! Not knowledgable at all! They really make Starbucks look bad! They really need to train their staff how to at least pronouns the names of each drink if they don't know how to make them! Do t waste your money going to this location!

  • Amanda M.

Absolutely horrible service. Probably the longest I've ever waited for 3 Frappes when we were the first to order, and they didn't even come out right. Not to mention how loud and pissed off the girl was when she was calling out our names when she was done making the drink when we were the only ones who ordered and were standing right in front of her.

We visited this Starbucks twice on our recent visit to Universal Orlando. I had called the week before our visit to ask what time they opened in the morning, in order to plan our day (wanted to do Early Park Admission at the Studios). I was told 6:30 am. Luckily, the evening we arrived I stopped in to confirm, and was told that was incorrect, it was 7:00 am. The first visit I got a breakfast sandwich that was cold in the middle. Both times we visited, the music was so loud and raucous that the barista could not even hear my order without raising my voice significantly. I asked her why they didn't turn it down, and she said they did not control it. Now, I understand that Universal CityWalk is going for an energetic, modern vibe, but there is no need to extend that to a coffeeshop. Especially to the level that one can't hold a conversation or place an order.

They just opened a new location downstairs in Citywalk. It's huge! Six registers, 4 espresso machines and a very spacious waiting area. There is plenty of seating outside and a cold stone right next door. Service is quick, although I'm here at night when it's not too busy.

This Starbucks is a perfect spot to get away from the heat and crowds at the two Universal theme parks. It is located up and out of the way from all the action down below at CityWalk. It's conveniently located next to the second level escalator. You will find plenty of seating in and out of this coffee shop. They also have a couple of communal tables if gets too crowded. I like that it's very bright with abundant window space. I do prefer this location over the Starbucks in Universal Studios; which is smaller and crowded. Grab a drink and gaze out below and watch the crowds go by. This would be a good spot for people in groups to meet up, or for parents waiting for their kids. I enjoy that I can get an iced coffee here and just chill.

Starbucks right before heading into the parks for a day of intense fun, For The Win !! This place is perfectly located, it kick starts my day and the service is always pleasant. No wonder I'm such a fan. Keep it up Starbucks ! You're my favorite one.

  • Carolyn L.

It was crowded in the evening with a long line of customers. But the customers came in waves, so after serving those customers, there would be a lull period with no line before another group of customers trooped in. There was a decent variety of mugs, tumblers and gift packs for sale. The downside was you could not use a gift card in this outlet. I wished this was stated somewhere so that I did not waste my time queuing and then realizing I could not use up the credit in my gift card.

Getting my iced coffee to start my theme park fun! I definitely need to be caffeinated to deal with the crowds and give me that burst of energy needed to hit the first few rides. Pretty much the same as with most Starbucks locations. Menu and drink selection is consistant. Good amount of seating and tables. Cold comfortable AC. I'm surprised the baristas here don't go postal on some of the customers with their demands as they remained fairly pleasant when I was here. This location won't accept Starbucks cards or rewards. That sucks. Also, no bathroom here. What?

This was the sketchiest Starbucks I have ever visited. While I was happy to get an espresso fix while hanging at Universal with my family, I was hugely unimpressed by the entire experience. One day I went in and the whole place smelled like dirty rags. Gross. If you're desperate... you can go there but if you can avoid it, I would.

We get there the line isn't too bad the manager is working the register things are rang up correctly. Well... The drink was made wrong the barista was arguing with me and telling me that my drink only gets "3 pumps of vanilla" hmm... The grande gets 4 pumps but besides the point there wasn't any and to tell me I'm wrong is BS. After another 5 mins I got my cake pop and salted caramel bar. The cake pop was super cold and the bar was rock solid frozen. When we tried talking to the manager about it she wanted to stop helping the current customer in the middle of a transaction to listen to my problems. By all means please finish with him, well she was rude said well I guess we just didn't have anymore. Maybe you shouldn't sell me your frozen pastries. She didn't offer me a refund she just gave me a coupon for a free drink and said have a good day. Stick with the pre made bottled drinks. They need to visit a real Starbucks and learn customer service.

Great place to study and the noise level is not bad. I like how there are long tables in the back just in case you need to sprawl something out and work. Since this Starbucks is owned by Universal you can't use your Starbucks card. I was disappointed.

Hey we all know the product itself is going to be pretty much EXACTLY the same no matter where you go right? So whats to review? Service. Considering the vast amount of brain cell challenged tourists that you just can't believe actually exist in the same reality as you, these baristas are saints. I always pick up a Soy Latte on my way in to the parks, even in 102 degree weather and never cease to be amazed at the brain dead that visit this particular Starbucks but more amazed the smiles and the patience that the baristas have. Kudos to you! I want the same training you get in customer service, because if I had to deal with what you do I would have slapped me a customer a long time ago!

Just a typical Starbucks and is everything that you would expect from one.

One thing that is awesome about Universal (besides Wizarding World, the Hulk, and the Simpons Ride of course) is that the actually sell real Starbucks coffee (not that Nescafe fake coffee--sorry Disney, but it just doesn't cut it when it's 9am and you have to deal with being around 1000s of tourists). And the great thing about the City Walk Starbucks is that you can pick it up on your way into the parks, without even having to stop by a location with a drive-thru window. Perhaps the only thing that irks me about this location is that it is on the second floor of CityWalk, near the bars/clubs. It would have made more sense to me if they had placed this Starbucks on the ground level near the other quick restaurant options. But at the same time, this location is large enough to accommodate the crazy crowds of people that flow through CityWalk on a daily basis, and also offers giant couches off to the side immediately when you walk in. I know that I have definitely taken advantage of those on multiple occasions...particularly after walking around one or both of the parks and wearing myself out. The one bummer is that last I checked you still can't use your Starbucks card at this location. Nor does this location participate in most of the deals or discounts that many of the other Starbucks may have at certain times of the year (ex: treat receipts, Frappucino happy hour). I do also have to caution that I have received a few drink order screwups here, I think mainly because there are always so many people and so many orders to keep track of. If that's something that turns you off about a Starbucks location, you may want to wait until you're off of Universal theme park property.

The good: it's a comfortable, air-conditioned, caffeine-doling oasis where you can escape the crowds and heat of one Orlando's most stressful theme park districts. The bad: no bathroom. Otherwise, it's your typical, everyday Starbucks. I approve.

  • Jackie D.

Girl in the counter with black hair was impatient & rude! Very bad for Orlando tourism. To think that you're inside a major tourist spot! My daughter was ordering and she shouts "What?! What do you want?!!!" Like shes just standing there not needing anything! I will leave a note for the manager! 0 star for the worse starbucks service ever!!!

One of the prettiest Starbucks i visited so far. To the right after you enter is a resemblance of the snaking queue you see in the theme parks. Thankfully for the three visits (morning, afternoon and evening) over three separate days, the queue were short and moved really quickly. You can sense the size/volume of coffee this store churns when you see staff wearing headsets giving and taking instructions on your orders. While we were making our payment, they were busying churning out our drinks. A couple of seconds later, we were called! It was that quick! Instead of having our names doddled on the cups, instead they have sticker labels which states our order and name. I guess buying from this store lose a touch of friendliness and warmth but well, doesn't quite matter cause I just need that caffeine boost before our rides. The atmosphere, decor and lightening is perfect. The air conditioning too, to cool you down from the blazing sun and heat. They have plenty of sockets underneath the chair/sofa, great for us to recharge our phone batteries and rest our feet. Really like this store look and feel. Hope it gets spread to all other branches soon!

Horrible service, a Starbucks that sucks. Drinks were watered down, both our green tea lemonades and out Mocha frap was crappy... Avoid this place. Service was Bad too.

Just a Starbucks at Universal. They work fast and the location is clean and neath. You can't find an espresso at the signs, but of course they have it for you. Take a coffee at Starbucks and then go to their neighbours for a Cinnamon Roll!

This is probably one of the more stunning Starbucks locations that I have been to in Orlando....and yes, of course it's at Universal Citywalk. Based on older reviews and photos, it looks like it has had a major modern makeover to keep up with the times. No more neon colors and dated furniture. There are several registers to take orders and seating is plentiful, not only inside but outside as well. I love the Starbucks decorative "props" on the display shelving behind the counters. And the darker mahogany wood gives this location a more elevated and upscale feel. You will have to deal with lines of tourists, some longer than others based on the time of day. I was impressed by how quickly the employees and baristas hustled by taking orders and getting drinks out. Just bring an extreme dose of patience in case.

  • Janene H.

Quite possibly one of the biggest Starbucks I've seen! The counter is so long with plenty of machines to help when the rush hits. Located right at the edge of City Walk prior to hitting the parking garage they offer much needed pick me ups after a long day at the park. Service was just ok, the employees were not overly friendly. The floor looked and felt dirty and the tables had scattered trash on them. It was not busy at all so surely someone could have been tidying up? I could see this as being a regular stop before heading home!

Love this Starbucks! They are perfectly located at CityWalk, and they are opened very late, which is a major bonus. Location has great seating both indoor and outdoor. They seem to be one of the more efficient locations despite the pretty long queues the location set up for. Baristas are friendly and drinks are on point. I used my phone to pay via Starbucks app - they politely asked me if it was OK for them to hold your phone as they have to enter the numbers into a different pay machine. So courteous!
