Great little Starbucks in Downtown Orlando by Lake Eola. They're open until 9:30 pm on weekdays so it's a nice place to chill and relax/study/whatever. Drinks are always consistent at all Starbucks locations with drip coffee...no complaints from me!

Cool looking. Lack of outlets in center tables. Weird register with a pole right in front of you. Not good for studying. If someone is talking it echos a lot. Also feeling conned. Outside it says: "free parking for Starbucks customers." Then I go inside and ask for a stamp or something and they said... "Oh it's only 30 minutes" and there is a time stamp on your ticket. So... Deceived to stop by when the parking was just the normal 30 min free parking. on their defense it does say 30 minutes on the sign outside however it is really small

There are only a couple of tables outside, but it's great people-watching when you can get one on the weekend. On weekdays, this is a much better spot to work than it used to be - it's been revamped with much more seating than it had a couple of years ago. Friendly staff and, if you're not arriving on foot or bike, they'll validate your parking for more than sufficient time to get your handcrafted beverage of choice.

I don't often find myself in this area, so it's easy to forget there's even a Starbucks over here, luckily there's an app that helps me find near-by coffee places... When I arrived there was a sign posted out front that customers could get up to 30 minutes free parking in the attached parking garage. That would have been great to know before my pathetic attempt at parallel parking on the street. Next time. Learn from my mistake and take advantage of the garage parking. So, on to the actual Starbucks. 9 am and there was almost no line and drinks were being served up very quick. I guess that is the advantage of no drive-thru to distract you. Our drinks were made perfectly and everyone who helped us was pleasant. Having skipped breakfast I ordered vanilla scones for my daughter and myself and the cashier told us there was a deal if you bought three. So my daughter ended up with two scones. She was happy. I like that this shop has plenty of seating and the space is arranged well. It doesn't feel too crowded. Overall, great shop. I'll try to remember it's over here the next time I'm on the east side of Lake Eola.

Many moons ago I worked at Starbucks for about 4 years. I have worked in a total of 4 different stores and taken shifts at at least 13, so it's easy for me to tell a great team from a less than stellar team. This particular Starbucks is totally on point. The food is on par with all the other stores and I've never had to have my drink remade at this location but the BEST part that really separates the experience is the staff. Some of the most friendly, witty, engaging, and efficient partners I've ever experienced. I love seeing the manager being part of the team and how they strive to make a real connection beyond "hello, how may I help you?" While the parking seems like a pain, it's actually pretty convenient for under-30min visits and if you want to stay longer, you can usually find street parking less than two blocks away. It's a great location for people watching, and there are tons of tables for remote working. Even when I move out of Thornton Park, this will be my go-to Starbucks!

I always grab a drink from this location before getting my haircut next door at IBI. Looks like a great place to work/study. There are always people in there but it's never packed, at least when I go. Not to mention: free wifi ! Employee are friendly and get my drink order made in no time at all. Would definitely come back if I was in the area more often.

While Starbucks isn't my favorite coffee shop, this SB is usually a treat. The staff is actually friendly and they know how to make drinks. I usually get a mocha, extra hot. At other places, a mocha extra hot usually comes out tasting like chocolate milk because it isn't hot at all (I blame the chocolate). But here, they make it hot. And tasty. And they smile at me.

Revamp!! A great new long table in the middle with overhead lighting and some tall tables to the side of the wall. They still have some couch area with seating as well. Everything else received a facelift as well. They still have a good amount of sidewalk tables as well. Much more welcoming for people who want to come in and get some work done! So happy they did this, it just feels more inviting all around!

This is a great Starbucks, it does a great job of providing consistent quality while not feeling sterile, definitely a very good neighborhood feel. There is always a good amount of activity and energy, so it's fun to go sit outside, read the paper and people watch while enjoying your favorite beverage. Sometimes the line for coffee in the AM can be a bit long, but given the location that's to be expected.

Amazing people watching and great service. This Starbucks continues the chain's legacy of pricey/delicious coffee from friendly and knowledgeable barristas. My only complain is parking. You have to park in the dumb garage and walk over and you only are approved for about 10 minutes of parking. Solution? Find street parking, which may or may not be available depending on what time you go. This is my go to study/people watching spot so I keep coming back regardless.

Starbucks is great, it is a chain, everyone knows what a starbucks is and what they stand for. Now to discuss this location. I love it. It is right near my favorite restaurants. Cute area of town. Friendly staff, willing to make jokes. They make me smile. It is big and they have outdoor seating. Great for people watching...and prowling for hotties. rawr... :-) I approve. What a great place to hang out (just as all other Starbucks) either talking to friends over a cup of wonderful coffee, or setting up your laptop and enjoying the WiFi. I have seen people in groups studying. This location is awesome especially if you get a seat outside. The people watching is amazing and the atmosphere is spectacular...great place!!

First of all, I love Starbucks. And I'm just going to go ahead and say that even if the day comes when their lattes are $7 a pop, I will probably still love Starbucks. That being said, this Thornton Park Starbucks is perfect---not too tiny, but not huge and overcrowded either. I have been here a few times and ordered drinks, and to my knowledge nothing has ever been off, which is always a good thing. For the location (a small plaza off of a street in Thornton Park), there is plenty of seating. Inside, there is a good amount of seating--perfect for a short business meeting or just surfing the free wi-fi. And there is additional seating located outside both Starbucks and the several businesses next door--Chilli Spoons Froyo, Tijuana Flats, etc. As a few other Yelpers have mentioned, there is free 30 minute parking in the garage located immediately behind the Starbucks, which is perfect if you'd like to hop in, grab a coffee, sip it, and then be on your way. Personally I wish I were in the Thornton Pk area more so that I could frequent this SBucks. :-)

This is a great neighborhood Starbucks. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere seems more like a second living room, than a cafe. They are definitely one of the major hot spots in Thornton Park.
