For a Saturday afternoon...this Starbucks was surprisingly empty. I have a feeling this is not typical, especially since it sits in the lobby of the Grand Bohemian hotel. Staff was very friendly, service was super quick and quality was great. Overall...fantastic experience and I highly recommend them to those who live in downtown Orlando or just visiting.

One of the fanciest Starbucks I've ever been in. This location gets pretty busy, and is a bit more expensive as it is located inside the Grand Bohemian hotel on Orange Ave. Lovely atmosphere if you have time to stop by.

This Starbucks has been closed on me for the second time in a week. The precious time I have to spend walking from work to get coffee at a "reliable" location wasted again.

Uh, I got loudly criticized by an older employee for ordering a bacon Gouda sandwich without Bacon (I could have mentioned that Starbucks chooses grade F meat and it is pretty gross even for a meat lover). The place is usually very busy and the cashiers seem to have a collective IQ of about 100. You can't rely on them to do more than take one request at a time; and they ring you up so fast you have to stand there and tell them everything twice. Oh, and they badly misspelled my name, worse than any other Starbucks I've been to all over North America.

It's the Starbucks inside the Grand Bohemian and has an entrance on the street as well so there is always a crowd. I have been working from here for the last two weeks pretty regularly and they have some issues with their WiFi working. I have had to request them to check their connection and some days it just isn't working at all. That's no fun when you are there to get some work done. The art on display is usually from local artists and right now the wall is full of amazing things. You have to stroll through just to see all the art =) There is an amazing long table to set up at for some work time with a buddy or two (if the interwebz is working).

I rarely go to this location, because I'm usually downtown for a show in the evening, and they close early. But it's a lovely site, quick service, and friendly baristas!

I do not go to Starbucks that often, but I have never had a bad cup of coffee or latte when I do go. No matter which location. This was the first time I have been to this location since I had a seminar to go to at The Grand Bohemian. I stopped in and got a coffee venti, and sat down with my coffee and newspaper. The staff was friendly and quick with service, and as I watched from my seat, there was a constant stream of customers coming in for coffee or whatever hot beverage would get them through a cold day. I am impressed with the way the Starbucks staff was able to serve the rush of people and get them out the door. As for the interior, being in The Grand Bohemian makes for a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed the art work throughout. The space to the Starbucks, however is small. Much smaller than other Starbucks locations in Orlando. But with the many people who work downtown Orlando, it makes for a great location to get a great cup of coffee.

I'm not a huge coffee or Starbucks person but when I need a jolt of caffeine when I'm at work, I take a walk to this location . It is across the street and connected to the Grand Bohemian hotel. This is a pretty busy location during the week catering to the Downtown workers and the tourists in town staying at the hotel. My last visit was around 4pm on a weekday and it was surprisingly packed. There are lots of tables available for meetings or for students studying and using the free wi-fi. Service was quick and typical. Nothing out of the ordinary .

Located downtown on Lymmo stops and adjacent to the Bohemian Hotel. It is a mostly quite smaller starbucks, funky art gallery next door in the Bohemian. Has Wifi and relatively uncrowded for a coffeeshop downtown.

This Starbucks location is different from most. Located centrally off of Orange Ave. in downtown Orlando, this Starbucks is incredibly convenient if you happen to work downtown during the day. With that being said, it is unique in the respect that it is actually connected to the Grand Bohemian hotel. When first visiting this Starbucks, I did not originally think that the Starbucks was actually connected to the lobby of the hotel, but it is...if you happen to be sipping your coffee in the chairs next to a window towards the back of the cafe, you even have a prime view of cars being valeted. Honestly, this makes for a bizarre experience; however, the good news is that the Grand Bohemian is a very high-class hotel, and so ultimately it does not detract too much from the Starbucks ambiance. As far as drinks go, I can't recall having any major slip-ups with my drink order here. But as a few other yelpers have mentioned, this store can get especially crowded considering it is really not large at all for a downtown location. Don't plan to zip in and out unless it is an off time in the middle of the day. All in all, this Starbucks is great for stopping into while you're downtown. The bummer is that they aren't exactly open at night (which is usually when I tend to find myself downtown).

Hey it's Starbucks. Need I say more?

Narrow little Starbucks in the Grand Bohemian, and with the dearth of coffeeshops in the Orange Ave area downtown (seriously - what is with that?) it does get crowded at peak hours. The noise level can get up there, too, so this wouldn't be a Starbucks I'd choose to work out of unless I was stuck downtown. But they work through the backlog at the counter quickly enough and they have this amazing driftwood chandelier that I so badly wish I had in my dining room. If you're not a rush, stroll through the attached gallery while enjoying your drink.

My drinks never taste the same here as they do at other locations. They're honestly never as good but I can't put my finger on why. I don't know if they just don't follow spec, but all of my more complicated (and when I say complicated, these drinks are still on the menu - skinny cinnamon dolce latte with added caramel drizzle or a java chip frap) just taste not as good. I'll stick to iced green tea from now on.

Perhaps one of the rudest services I have seen. Day after Christmas so not a lot of places open a few work mates decided we needed coffee. Called to ensure they were open and walked a good ways to get there for coffee only to be met by four baristas and a manager in a state of panic. Evidently the registers were down so they could not sell any products. We said all we want is coffee and the barrista started to say he would just give us coffee. The Manager stepped in and said no to the coffee and started to lock the doors. You would think 4 small coffees would set them back that much for the inconvenience of their problems but I guess so. They shoved us out and locked the doors. A good thing Barnies just opened down the street. They will now have my morning coffee business! Poor customer service and respect!

This location can get a bit crowded in the morning hours during the week with everyone working downtown getting their morning coffee before work, sometime there's even a line out the door, but the morning crew can always get you in and out fairly quickly! My drink is always made correctly when I go here, and if it's not they will remake it and sometimes give you a gift card for a free drink next time you return for having to wait. Great customer service! Also, for any basketball lovers....the majority of the visiting NBA teams stay at the Grand Bohemian and grab their morning coffee at this Starbucks before heading off to the Amway Center to practice. So you can always spot NBA players in this Starbucks.

Great location at the prestigious Grand Bohemian Hotel but yet casual and easily accessible location from Orange Avenue with a street-side entrance near the Lymmo stop. I have been to this location several times while visiting downtown and staff is always friendly and beverages well prepared to the best Starbucks quality. During a recent visit my colleague ordered an iced tea and the tea had to be brewed fresh as it had ran out, the Starbucks barista immediatly made the drink free despite only a 5 minute wait for freshly brewed tea. This was a pleasant surprise and a sign of good management that cares about its customers. If you find yourself in downtown and are looking for a coffee shop come here hands down!

Don't come to this Starbucks if you are in a rush because while the employees are fast the drive-thru stays packed. Friendly employees but I was not thrilled when they gave my mom a hazelnut americano instead of a vanilla americano. Normally it would not have been a huge deal but when you are taking it to her at the hospital because her son is surgery at ORMC from a mototcycle wreck, her drink needs to be perfect.

I'd say 4 stars for the location-the Grand Bohemian is a gorgeous hotel that I yelped about. This particular Starbucks is in the same building as the hotel. It was a surprise to know that it was there and that little door that a fellow yelper was talking about leads you to the lovely Grand Bohemian lounge/bar. Found Double Choc Chip Frap-now addicted to it!

Sam C. said "how do you rate a Starbucks?" Easily. Yes, they all have the same drinks, but they definitely have different people and atmospheres that can make your coffee experience better or worse. The Grand Bohemian location = love. First off, they have such great artwork on the walls, paintings, photos, etc... (a lot of Starbucks I see are ALL windows). But I really like all the artwork. They get your creativity flowing when you get stumped so it's a great place to get some work done. They also have a TON of tables! Yes, comfy chairs are fun, but sometimes I just need a place to work and tables can get scarce but not here. Most Starbucks have nice people working there, but it can be hit or miss but the guys working the night I went were really friendly and welcoming. I also didn't realize this location closed earlier and the guys were super nice about me staying a bit later to finish up some work. Wish this location was closer to where I live or work! Would come here often.

how do you rate a starbucks? they are basically all the same. no complaints on the drinks, but i still prefer local coffee joints. he location, honestly, is horrible. it is only convenient for those at The Boheme and business people. the staff is "typical snooty starbucks" workers. (yes, i know. i hate saying that because there are a lot of great starbucks baristas that are so nice and caring and just great people...) another annoyance i have: they are listed as a participating merchant with buy local orlando and when i showed the cashier my card, he said they are not part of the program. i informed him that they were listed on the site, and he didnt seem to care... mumbling something about how "he needs to change that." it's not the 32c i would have saved on the drink i ordered (with the card, you are entitled to 10% off) that bothered me, its the principle. don't offer something you wont fulfill. and if you you're not in the program anymore, honor it until you are removed from the site. don't be an uncaring douche. bit.ly/sbuxfail

Just wanted to share a few important pieces of info in regards to this particular Starbucks considering it's location on the main strip of downtown. First, they are etremely busy during normal working hours. If you pass by, you will inevitably see many people in suits and heels coming in an out with their favorite caffeinated beverage. But because of the high volume of customers they have Mnday through Friday, they are open only limited hours on Saturday and Sunday; mostly for the Grand Bohemian guests since this Starbucks is actually located within the hotel building. And should you need to use the restroom here, you have to walk through the lobby. Secondly, I wanted to mention that Starbucks has made visible attempts at drawing more crowds and keeping the customers they already have satisfied. As prices keep rising, they have seemingly been noticing and trying to lure us with more food options. The hot breakfast sandwiches didn't work but maybe their new oatmeal packs and baked goods will be the trick? Regardless, I just wanted you to know that if you are on Orange Ave. after 3pm on a Saturday, you'll have to hit up the Thornton Park Starbucks in order to get your Pumpkin Spiced Latte since this one will be closed.

The location is perfect for downtown residents or people who work downtown. However, big however, almost every-time I park on the street to just run in and get a coffee, I get a freakin ticket. Sooo if the meters are occupied and they will be and if you do not want to pay the hotel valet to watch your car for a sec it may be a no go for you when in a car. Otherwise, its the spot and much closer than the Thornton Park location where you could also get towed (where are the drive thru's people)?......
