I was kind of surprised to read some of the reviews on here, but then again they are kind of old.. maybe they did some improvements? We recently moved back to the eastside of Orlando and was looking for a new Chinese place. The first time we ordered delivery we got the General Tso's Chicken combo plate $7.35, Bourbon Chicken combo plate $7.35, and Garlic Chicken wings with french fries $6.95 for my son. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time & was still very hot. My boyfriend & son loved theirs, and I was happy our special requests (like no veggies in the fried rice for my boyfriend and honey added to my sons garlic wings) were done correctly. I can't tell you how many times these small requests are ignored, for me it is important because both my son & boyfriend are PICKY eaters! My bourbon chicken was good (took me back to the mall when I used to order it as a kid), my boyfriend really liked the general tso and my son liked his wings the only complaint was they used a little too much garlic. Oh and the best part is their egg rolls are delish! Over all our 1st delivery was good & we were very satisfied. We ate delivery again last night and I was even more impressed this time. The food was steaming hot (like if we were at the restaurant, not delivered). My son & boyfriend ordered the same (they are boring like that.. lol) but we did make another request for my sons wings this time less garlic (which they did) and he loved them this time. I got the kung pao chicken which was good and had lots of veggies, my only complaint is it wasn't spicy at all like it should have been, they flavor of the dish was really good and if it had heat it would have been better. I also decided to try their sushi this time and I am happy I did. I ordered the California roll. It was only $4.95 for 8 pieces. It came in a cute container with a side of soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. It had krabmeat, avocado, and julienne cucumbers. It was fresh and yummy! I also liked when they delivered the food it was packaged separately from the hot food. So last night it was officially voted as our go to Chinese & Sushi delivery place and I am ready to try their sushi lunch special next time :-)

There is definitely not a shortage of Chinese and sushi places in Orlando. I decided to try Sino 1 Chinese & Sushi because of their very large menu. There are well over a 100 items on this menu. My friend with the standard sweet and sour chicken. I went with one of their many veggie dishes and veggie egg roll. Our first mistake was ordering food on Valentine's day. When my friend called to order, he was put on hold for about 7 minutes. He said you could hear all the business of the restaurant in the background. We ordered our food, and we were told to pick it up in 20-25 minutes. When my friend got to the store, he sent me a picture of inside. It was filthy! You could tell they were not prepared with the amount of people who wanted Chinese food for their date night. There were dirty dishes all over the restaurant. I am hoping this is not a normal thing. Even though we waited our full 25 minutes, he still had to wait even longer when he went to pick up the food. He said he heard them telling other customers on the food it would be an hour wait. One thing to mention is, the prices were different every place we looked. We were going to order through Yelp and got our price. Then I looked on their website to order and got a different price. When we decided to order over the phone we got yet another price. Then when we picked it up it was even cheaper. Since we had to wait so long, they did give us two free sodas. They food was pretty good. My friend raved about the fried rice. However, he was not impressed with the sauce for his sweet and sour chicken. It was as thin as water. My veggie dish was tasty. It was stir friend veggies with some type of sauce. I tasted a lot of garlic. The egg roll was hot and crispy. The portion sizes are HUGE! We both ordered the "small" and had leftovers. Overall, I would order from here again. I would just avoid them if they are busy.

Bad hygiene !! I usually never eat sushi in chinese places, but since this one was close to my home and that Groupon was often presenting coupons for it, I decided to give it a try. The cashier scanned my coupon and I felt trapped when I realised the cook was starting to cut some old looking fish with the same dirty knife that was standing on a filthy cutting board. I told him "I'm sorry but you should be using clean tools or at least wash them" Both the cook and cashier answered "no, it's clean" while keeping on cutting the fish. Even though the cook was wearing gloves, he was touching absolutely everything around, taking a risk for cross contamination with the food. Since I already paid for that food through Groupon, I decided to take it anyway and gave it to my dog.

Well for starting off.. Bad costumer service!! There place is like a dumpster. The bathroom looks like it needs ALOT of remodeling. Poor fish!! They probably want to escape! I'm never going back here again. After so many times this was the final straw.

I have had a great experience with this restaurant twice so far.. once delivery and once take out.. The sauces are flavorful and not watery and all the food was great.. I have had the beef and broccoli, pepper steak, general tso's chicken, egg drop soup and egg rolls.. All very good and flavorful.. I will go there again and would say to try it if you are on the east side of town. I have tried 6 different Chinese restaurants on the east side in an attempt to get good Chinese since the closing of May Sum.. Of course nothing will replace May Sum (RIP) but Sino1 is as close to the New York style Chinese food that May Sum had..

Avoid the sushi. Not very good and it smells. The Chinese food is ok. There are better places in the area for take out.

FINALLY I found good Chinese food by my apartment. You just down know how hard I've had to struggle. I can't say enough good things. The food is amazing, the customer service is awesome. And the ease of ordering is a breath of fresh air. There's a young lady who works the front and answers the phone when you order. I'm not sure of her name but whoever she is man does she deserve a raise. I've had three different chicken dishes and I'm dying to try their sushi but so far I have no complaints! I'll keep coming back for as long as their open

Good sushi at reasonable prices! Best in the area for cheap sushi, I think. But their Chinese food gets a 2 star rating, except their shrimp lo mein. Their Chinese menu falls flat of what you want out of take out.

I'm glad I ordered sushi from here twice before seeing the place in person or else my review or mindstate my have been changed. But their sushi freaking awesome and I have now, even seeing that the place is like a little shack busted down hole in the wall, I have now ordered sushi from them weekly for over a year. They yet to let me down. Huge rolls for great prices and they are delicious. I have yet to actually try the NY Style chinese food tho, dont really care to. not a big fan of that stuff. I just love sushi and this place freaking nails it every time.

Decent Chinese food. Not the best. Definitely not the worst. The tofu is totally decent and actually some of the better in town. Their delivery is usually always fast and spot on. I don't choose anything from the sushi menu. I'm not that brave a soul.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
