Went on a Tuesday night. They had a decent selection of toppings and yogurts to choose from. The problem with this place is whoever runs this place tries to save money in areas that customers instantly notice. First of all it was noticeably warm inside. I know electricity must be expensive but turn on the A/C for your customers! especially since you have fruit and food sitting out and the fact that you are an ice cream place. Second of all they have no sample cups available to try the yogurts. We asked the lady for a sample cup and she handed us one each. Really? If you are charging me $5 for a small cup of yogurt I want to know I am enjoying the flavor before I commit to a whole cup. Don't be stingy with 1 oz. samples! Act like you enjoy the customers instead of thinking people are just there to take advantage of you. Place needs an attitude adjustment or I see them gone in about a month.

First time here today, after I realized the froyo place I used to go to all the time on East Colonial & Alafaya is now closed! First impression upon walking in was that it was very stylish with their cute, colorful & modern decor. As for toppings - that's usually what separates one froyo place from another & I was so excited about these toppings! Love that this place has treats from my childhood that make me nostalgic like cosmic brownies, zebra cakes and oatmeal cream pies! Obviously, I had to have a little piece of each! Although I don't live in east Orlando, anymore, I will gladly stop here whenever I am in the area!

Typical frozen yogurt joint. Flavors were good and lots to choose from for toppings. The cashier also provided super-mini container for sample of flavor before you committed. Which is big! I have frozen yogurt commitment issues...anyway. I got the peanut butter, vanilla and chocolate and a few toppings. My daughter loaded hers up with sprinkles, gummy bears, m&ms, the works. 2 cups a little over 1lb and it came out to 9.06. Not bad price considering the average yogurt selection and abundance of toppings. Will be back when I'm in the area again for sure!

Cute place with a handful of flavors and pretty impression option of toppings. There are a ton of competition that wow me slightly more and really wish they had more fruity Froyo options. I would come back if I was in the area and craving froyo.

Stopped by here as a reward for some teenage girls I was taking care of, they loved it and had lots of fun creating their desserts. We arrived on a Friday at 11:15am shortly after they opened, so very clean and the employee was friendly. The yogurt selection and toppings bar did not disappoint. I noticed there's also a location in Altamonte I'd like to check out as it's near my house. My top 3 frozen yogurt places are Pinkberry, Menchie's, and Cali Yogurt, but this was excellent, and compared to those three, it most resembled Menchie's. My total for 4 people was just under $24, so at $6 per person, it was somewhat expensive.

This is my favorite of the frozen yogurt places. A wide variety of flavors and lots of toppings. Always clean and they have a frequent buying program. They won't combine cards so it sucks if you have a card started and you forget it.

In my opinion, this is the best frozen yogurt that East Orlando has to offer. The frozen yogurt flavors are always changing, but the taste is consistently awesome. There is a wide variety of flavors and toppings, ample seating both indoors and outdoors. At .39 cents per ounce, I can get a giant cup of frozen yogurt for about 4 bucks. Make sure to ask for a rewards card so that every 10th yogurt you get is free :)

This is our favorite yogurts place! Lots of other places to choose from but this is the best.

I love it. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. There are many flavors and toppings to choose from. This is a great place for a cold treat on a hot day.

Even tho we are surrounded by froyo places, from race track to Yogurtland, this is the one we love to visit ! Delicious flavors, lots of toppings and bobba tea! We love it and is the perfect weekend treat ! Keep in mind bobba is made to order to it takes a couple of minutes ... Worth it !!!!! We got coconut and it was delicious .... They have many other flavors like taro, honeydew, strawberry etc... You choose !

This place makes me happy with awesome flavors like red velvet, cake batter, and dulce le leche. I have a bad habit of rolling my fat ass into this place in my pjs when I can no longer resist the night time cravings but lucky for me the girls who work there are super nice.

  • Amber S.

My daughter and I go here weekly. They could have gotten 5 stars, but occasionally they don't have her flavor. As for me, I eat only sugar free items and they usually only have one choice for sugar free. I understand though. The price is right and they are a nice treat when they have your favorite flavors. I like the healthier options that they have for toppings, like almonds and milled flaxseed. My daughter loves all the other toppings.

I'm starting to think that frozen yogurt shops are like Chinese take-out places -- 99.9% of them seem to get everything from the exact same supplier, resulting in food (or frozen yogurt, in this case) that looks and tastes exactly the same no matter where you get it. Okay, so you won't go in there exclaiming, "Oh, they have little mochi! Strawberry popping boba! Gummy worms!" Because approximately 100% of frozen yogurt shops now have them. It may not be particularly unique, but it gets the job done. The sign outside says $0.39/oz, the same as the next closest place, one shopping plaza north. They have a couple of tables outside as well (like approximately 100% of the other shops I've seen). Four stars for the others, so four stars for this one as well. I'd be interested to see a shop that doesn't get four stars, even if it's less. Because that would mean there was something different about it.

Although Simply Frozen Yogurt was simply not the first frozen yogurt place to come to the UCF area, I must say that overall it seems to satisfy all of the "froyo shop requirements." Just like a majority of other froyo places, the atmosphere is modern with bright splashes of colors on the wall and colored lights decorating the interior. Funky chairs and tables can also be found inside, right by the 6-10 frozen yogurt machines lining the back wall. Free sample cups are available, and Simply Frozen Yogurt has a wide variety of toppings for your yogurt creation. Pay-by-the ounce is the name of the pricing game. And at 39c an ounce, I think we are all winners. I have stopped in here a few times and it definitely satisfies your frozen yogurt and/or dessert craving, so for that it receives 4 stars. Plus, with it being so close to the UCF area, I am 99.9% sure they offer a student discount.

The BEST fro-yo place in Orlando yet! Their shop is brand-new, adorable and they have plenty of seating. They have the exotic fruit toppings I love, including mochi! They're really reasonably priced and I love the variety in flavors they have. I'll be going back to enjoy their lowfat and nonfat varieties! Yay Simply!

I love this place. If you have an inner fat kid who doesn't want to get any fatter try Simply Yogurt. You get to pick from everything good ever made on earth. Fruity Pebbles, Captain Crunch, Cookie Crisp, sprinkles, sprinkles, sprinkles. It's just every Saturday morning of my childhood wrapped up into a bowl of frozen goodness. Check it out at least once. Have fun crazies!!!

I definitely have to disagree with all the 5 stars here. This place didn't impress me that much and to be honest, it has nothing on the other fro yo places I've been like Tutti Frutti, iKiwi, and Mochi. But let's start off with some good. The area that this place is located is awesome. Besides Sweet!, Waterford Lakes doesn't have any healthier choices for grabbing some dessert after a day of shopping. I have no complaints about the environment of the store either. They have about 8 fro yo selections, as well as the twist selection between each two flavors which is nice. But to me, the whole idea of the fro yo craze is light, flavorful, and fresh fro yo - like kiwi, pomegranate, pinkberry, etc...but this place had more flavors like Reese Peanut Butter, cookies and cream, yellow cake batter....I felt like I should of been in a regular ice cream store. Needless to say, I was disappointed in their options for fro yo and the lack of the fresh, light flavors. The toppings were pretty standard compared to all the other fro yo places I've been to. This is definitely not a place I would "crave" or pick first if I wanted fro yo, but it's definitely on the map, especially if there's nothing else around or close by for a quick sweet, healthy treat.

If my wife and I decide to get a dessert at dinner, we usually split something. She always ends up eating just a few bites - far less than half. Not wanting to waste anything, I feel obligated to eat whatever she leaves behind, stuffing myself further than I really wanted to. Simply Frozen Yogurt does away with this problem. Pick as many of the 12 flavors of yogurt you want. Serve yourself as much - or as little as you want. Top with any of the 50+ toppings you want. Pay only 39 cents per ounce of weight. You want a huge tub of four flavors of yogurt covered in sprinkles, gummy bears and brownie chunks? Go for it. 39 cents per ounce. You want a tiny drop of yogurt and a whole cup of fresh fruit toppings? Go for it. 39 cents per ounce. The range of flavors is pretty nice. I don't know if they intend to change them out, but there's enough choice that they probably have something you'll like anyways. The toppings ranged pretty well too. Fresh fruit, bits of pound cake or brownies, bits of candy, sprinkles - plenty for the kid in you to go nuts and pile on a horrible concoction that your parents would have never allowed. Before you commit to any flavor, you can sample as many as you like - so you can figure out which flavor you're in the mood for. There is no easy testing mechanism for sampling the toppings, but I'm sure the staff would probably accommodate you if you asked. Since this is a self serve place, the staff is minimal. We visited at about 7:30pm on a Saturday night and there was one worker at the register and a man who seemed to be the manager roaming about. Neither rushed over to explain the concept or instructions when we entered, but they seemed attentive and ready to help if needed. There are a handful of tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy your perfect yogurt desserts, and a TV screen if that's your thing. They were playing Bolt on it when we visited. In the end, we paid a little over $6 for exactly the amount of yogurt and toppings as we wanted. Far less than a couple of scoops at a chain ice cream shop, far better product - and it was exactly what and how much we wanted. You just can't beat that.

When I stumbled upon this place after eating at Buffalo Wild Wings a few doors down, I expected it to be ridiculously awesome because of the crowd both inside and outside. By this time, my froyo partner and I have tried about 7 other froyo places around Orlando. So we went in with high hopes, which was probably our mistake. Because their flavors were really, really, reeeeally bad compared to the other places. Which is why I don't understand all the 5-stars it's getting here. We struggled just to find 2 flavors that we liked enough to get, and we tried almost every single one just 'cos we had to. I don't know if anyone around us noticed how much we were cringing and throwing out the sample cups after only one little bite. They were just...bad. If this was the first froyo place we've ever tried, I think they would actually be pretty good, but seriously, go somewhere else if you're in the area. There are MUCH better places not too far down or up the road. That's what we'll be doing, and never coming back here again.

I'd give this place a 4.5 if I could, but we'll go with the full 5 for now. If you've gotten sucked in to the fro-yo craze like we have, this place could be for you. Simply offers a lot of flavors, a nice toppings selection, and best of all, lots of discounts! They are always putting coupons in the Waterford Lakes coupon books we get in the mail; i've found several online, and if you're a student you get 10% off! Best of all, they offer a punch card (as most of them do now), so that if you are a frequent buyer you get a free 10oz yogurt. Since my boyfriend and I always go together, we get to the free ones pretty quickly. I like the cookies and cream, cake batter, and vanilla flavors myself. The toppings at Simply are pretty good...there's a decent selection and they offer a few things that the others don't. Lately, however, we've noticed that one of our toppings will be missing on one visit and then back on the next one, only to have another favorite topping disappear! Kind of annoying. It's definitely worth a visit, though.

Toppings are great! Fresh. Yogurt was meh. Somewhat icy. And Euro tart is definitely not tart. I guess you can say the flavor was quite dilute.

The pink lemonade flavor is to diiie for, they have a ton of toppings to choose from like Fruit and candy, and other strange things.

Typical frozen yogurt joint where you fix your own froyo and pay per oz. The quality of the froyo is definitely above average and the price is not bad at all either. Definitely a great place to visit on a hot day when you need that froyo fix; actually, i wouldn't mind some froyo any day. Try out the different flavors with the little sampling cups.

Simply Frozen Yogurt sits just a few doors down from Rice and Beans and Buffalo Wild Wings in the plaza across from Waterford Lakes off of Alafaya Trail. The place is designed with modern decor, hip, stylish and aesthetically pleasing for a dessert place, with nods to the economically affordable and european IKEA furniture wares. The selection at Simply Frozen Yogurt here in Orlando boasts over 50 toppings and 12 flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from. The way it works, much like the other newer places open, is you take a cup, fill it up with your chosen flavors and toppings, and then you pay by its weight, usually around 39 cents an ounce and quite a deal. Toppings range from fruit such as strawberries, mango, pineapple, lychee, grapes, banana, and more and dry toppings like chocolate chips, granola, peanuts, almonds, candy, etc. Overall, I thought the frozen yogurt was superb, and the toppings were exceedingly fresh. I hope they have much success in the future. For photos of simply frozen yogurt visit tastychomps.blogspot.com…

Good yogurt and very clean place in fact to clean and sterile looking. Lol. Not a lot of toppings to choose from item. So as far as yogurt places goes this one is ok. How ever the guy behind the counter very nice'

I've only been here once. But its a great self serve fro yo place. Its very clean and the decor is cute. They have delicious toppings. Toppings are good, flavors of frozen yogurt are pretty good, and prices are fair. Overall pretty much your typical frozen yogurt place. I don't drink milk, so its nice they have non-dairy options but its usually a fruity flavor like strawberry or kiwi, I REALLY wish that they had non-dairy chocolate or vanilla options. IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A PLACE THAT HAS NON-DAIRY FROZEN YOGURT IN CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Thanks!

I've been testing out several yogurt places around this side of town and while all of them have unique offerings, Simply Frozen Yogurt, in my humble opinion, has the best tart flavors. On a recent excursion, the majority of the flavors were fruity tart, and my favorites were pink grapefruit, pineapple mango, and original - yup, all mixed together in my giant vat o' yogurt! So far, they are also the only frozen yogurt place in the area to offer jackfruit, which tastes sort of like a cross between a pineapple and banana. They keep the place pretty spotless and the tv is always playing a movie so you can park your butt here and enjoy whatever wonderful concoction you've made.

Yet another fro yo place that reminds me of California. This place is great! It's very modern looking on the inside and they have plenty of tables inside as well as outside. It's very clean and you feel right at home when you walk in the door because everyone there is so friendly. They had pineapple tart yogurt! I found it in California when we lived there and loved it. I have found it again and so close to home! Word! The other flavors I saw out of the corner of my eye before beelining it to the pineapple were regular tart, peach mango tart, chocolate, red velvet, cake batter, peanut butter, and cookies and cream. The toppings are fresh and they have quite the variety! The mochi is even colored. So cute. This is the kind of place were you pick up a cup, serve your own fro yo, select your own toppings and then weigh and pay! Easy as can be and so worth it!

  • Heidi A.

For a decent price, fill up as little or as much as you want. I personally liked the plain flavor, tart, so clean on the palate.. this has to be the best frozen yogurt I've ever tasted. Not too sweet, just right. Awesome. I hope this place is a raging success, because the fro yo is worth a special trip!

  • Mariacristina R.

This whole yogurt craze is completely unavoidable. There's a froyo place literally in every major shopping district you can find and the somewhat annoying thing is, they serve yogurt in the exactly same way but they're all differently named and priced. Whatever, I guess. Simply yogurt has a great selection of flavors - more indulgent than others I've been to. I pumped three flavors into my cup (Ghiredelli Chocolate, Caramel, Cake Batter) and added a few toppings of cereal. It was less than $3 and completely satisfied my sweet tooth. I think these kinds of venues would be great to host dessert parties for different groups and events. There's plenty of space and there's something about mixing flavors that puts everyone in a giddy, chatty mood.

Frozen yogurt is the new trend nowadays, coming all the way from California. Well, we don't have to go all the way to California to enjoy one, since here in Orlando we have a very good one, Simply Frozen Yogurt in Waterford Lakes. The restaurant is impecable clean, the yogurt is delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the owner's presence complement the whole experience to be a great one, they are both very sweet. For the price, the yogurt, and the ambience... you cannot go wrong. Love their toppins!

Simply Yogurt is simply awful! If you like the taste of mega sugar (like that sweetened condensed milk) you'll love this. It was so sweet it made my teeth hurt. Not at all refined. Really bad.

To Floridians the Frozen Yogurt craze is relatively new. In the past all we had was TCBY and that was about it. Well, out West yogurt had evolved and is a staple in California that surpassed ice cream and Gelato as the cool thing to eat. The biggest chains are Pinkberry which originated in Japan and Red Mango. Every time my family and I visited LA and Orange County we binged on Yogurt for our entire stay. When we came home to Orlando we went threw Tart Yogurt withdrawal for weeks. I guess we weren't the only ones as REAL Frozen Yogurt shops started opening here about 9 months ago and the trend is growing quickly. Some are pretty good and a few lack variety in flavors and toppings but all are greatly appreciated by us Yogurt fiends. That brings us to Simply Yogurt which is Simply Heaven. This is a legitimate West Coast style shop with plenty of yogurt flavors and dozens of toppings. As is the custom you are charged by the ounce for whatever you can dream up. To steal a line from a Tarrantino movie "brother let me tell you business is good". If you even remotely enjoy yogurt you will be doing cartwheels after you eat here. Simply Yogurt is that good. For my money they are Simply the best yogurt money can buy in Orlando.

I love this place. It's right across the street from the busy Waterford Lakes shopping center. If you want frozen yogurt and want to avoid Sweet or Marble Slab across the street due to the crazy business, this is your best bet. They are constantly getting new flavors and toppings as well. Cake batter remains my favorite, but this last time I went in they had White Chocolate Macademia Nut Cookie flavor and Girls Scouts Thin Mint Cookie flavor, YUM!

Pumkin, simply tart and cake batter all mixed together with some coconuts slivers, almonds and cheesecake bites... yum yum yum.

Literally THE BEST froyo place. I've been to about every one in the UCF area and my heart belongs to Simply. The place is so clean and bright. The flavors are always new. Their toppings are creative and there's always something new. My favorites are peanut butter, dulce de leche, and pecan praline! Pretty inexpensive as well. Highly recommend!

  • Andrew D.

Loved this place! 8 or 10 different flavors, 30+ toppings - anything you could want, and it's DELICIOUS! Much better deal, and healthier, than any Cold Stone-like ice cream shop. Get the tiny bites of cheesecake, they're AMAZING.

  • Melissa R.

Love this place. Great yogurt and lots of toppings to choose from. The best part is you pay by weight. I can get my daughter yogurt for under $2.00

If you enjoy Menchies then you'll enjoy Simply frozen yogurt. It is exactly like Menchies only they have fewer flavor and topping choices, Although that may be a downside to some, They make up for it by being priced lower than Menchies and being just as delicious with what they do offer.

  • Justin W.

I mixed banana and delicious Godiva nonfat chocolate and was not disappointed. Pretty solid yogurt place. From this visit I saw that this weekend they are opening a second location in Altamonte by the mall.

  • Sean O.

This is by far my favorite froyo place around. At $0.39 an ounce they are not the cheapest place around but you get what you pay for here. The topping selection is better then several other locations around. Fresh fruit, cookies, cheese cake, and of course whipped cream just to name a few of the umpteen items you can gorge yourself on. Make sure you get the stamp card so you can start earning your freebies too. The Irish Mint is a new wonder in my life if you need some direction when you are perplexed by the dozen flavor options. Good luck and happy eating on this one!

Pretty neat idea, self serve yogurt place, a good variety of flavors and toppings, pay by the weight of your creation. Definitely a must try for frozen yogurt.

Clean, inviting atmosphere, good variety of flavors and great yogurt!

  • Dana M.

This place is the best. Very convenient. Taste test cups to make sure you like the flavor(s) you choose. You make it yourself and the price is great. Comparable to Coldstones. What's better is you are charged by the ounce instead of per topping. Cake Batter flavor is great! Any topping you can think of including fresh fruit. You won't be disappointed.

  • Nicole B.

This place was great! There is only one cup size to choose from which is a large cup. I am sure they want you to fill the cup up entirely because they charge you by the weight of the cup. The yogurts were great and the topping bar is out of control full of yummy toppings. I really enjoyed this place. I went on a Friday night and it was really crowded and extremely loud. All the tables inside and out were taken. They need to bring in more tables outside for after hours. They are open late on the weekends, midnight I believe so its great for that late night craving!

  • Pinka R.

Awesome place! Love Love Love the tart frozen yogurt & fresh fruits selection; clean & modern look of the place; customer service was great and the price is decent. Above of all it's much healthier than ice cream. If you never had Tart Frozen Yogurt, you must try it there from this place.

Simply Frozen Yogurt is amazing! In the UCF area, there are several "Fro-Yo" places to try, but I believe this one is the best! First, the atmosphere inside is very bright and fun - certainly a great place for families as well as spending time with friends. I must admit, upon entering I commented it looked like a place right out of California. Second, there were a good amount of flavors to choose from. In fact, upon further review on Facebook - they post their weekly flavors on their fan page. Many of the flavors stay the same, however, the seem to change up a few including a sugar free flavor each week. I really enjoyed being able to try all the flavors before choosing the ones I wanted to really eat. Of course, by trying so many flavors I was already a little full by the time I purchased my frozen yogurt. Finally, the toppings bar was amazing! So many choices from candy, cookies, whip cream, and a healthier selections such as fresh fruit. I must also add that the toppings bar was very clean and looked well attended too. Overall, I really loved this place! I cannot wait to go again and try new flavors and toppings and at .39 cents per ounce it is an affordable treat. They are open until 11pm on the weekends, which makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a treat with friends, family, or your special someone! Enjoy!

I tried this place today for the first time and I was very impressed! Friendly staff, clean store, and yummy self-serve frozen yogurt. I sampled the red velvet cake (tastes just like a slice of cake), the blueberry, and the coconut. I settled on the coconut because it was so hot out and I wanted something light. I topped it with shaved coconut and blackberries and was oh so pleased with the result. The boyfriend went for the mint with Reese's pieces and cherries. Sounds weird to me, but he loved it. I really like that you can pay by the ounce here so that you can get as much or as a little as you like. Our creations came to barely over $4 together, which is much less than most ice cream shops. Next time you are near Waterford, try Simply. You won't regret it.
