Ok, in reality, this is probably a three and a half star review , but they get the bonus half for how close they come to the Americanized Chinese food of my youth. Growing up in New England, I had a certain expectation of what that cuisine was and still get that occasionally get that craving. Living in FL & TX for almost the last two years has only served to intensify that craving. Last night, I was able to satisfy it. Service wasn't friendly, but it was fairly quick. When I arrived home, everything was still hot, and the things that should have been crispy were still crispy. The fried wonton was crisp, but not greasy. The meaty center wasn't a ground up mess, but actually had texture. The pork fried rice was good, but was missing the egg and bean sprouts that I savor. It was a quick fix as I happened to have both in my refrigerator. The sweat and sour chicken and boneless spareribs both had a mustardy note to them. Normally, I hate that flavor, but here, it was mild and worked. The star of the show was the beef teriyaki. My sister has lived in Austin, TX for four years, and when I sent her a picture, the expletive laden tirade that was unleashed on me made every bite that much more delicious. Was my meal a salt bomb? Yes, but that doesn't mean I won't be back. It just means that I'll be eating really clean today!

Mongolian beef and General Tso chicken are great. They were great about switching steamed veggies for rice too.

Solid Chinese restaurant Never had a bad meal here but nothing has ever blown me away either. Let's face it, they get my business because they are super close and make decent food. I wouldn't make a special trip here if I lived further away but on the flip side if they weren't up to par I would travel to find something better.....so they are doing something right. Check out the cashew chicken and garlic wonton appetizer.....two of my favorites here

Definitely not what I expected. I ordered for delivery. They forgot my soda. The hibachi was covered in some kind of sauce and the white side sauce was orange. I called for a refund since the food was so bad but they wouldn't even do that. Would not recommend.

I have been looking for a good Chinese takeout place down here ever since I have moved from New York. This place is as close as you are going to get. I have only ordered from here a couple of times but definitely the best eggrolls and fried rice I have had since the move. They definitely live up to their New York style claim.

I've been here a few times and it will definitely be one of my "grab something quick" favorites for takeout. They don't use MSG which is a big plus. You can get brown rice for $1 extra. I like the healthy steamed options while my family prefers their other menu items. They offer a large menu selection. There is plenty of seating, but the atmosphere is more takeout oriented. Don't be turned off by the no smile, no small talk girl behind the counter. It's not intentional rudeness, it's just her nature and not personal. The prices are right and the food is consistently good. OK, I know I already mentioned it, but no MSG!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
