I went there today and never tried the door. This place is part of a gas station. It had blacked out windows and looked like a dump. A sign was taped to the door. I am sure that was not good. And the place was hard to find. I have no idea how it got a high yelp rating. I went a half mile down the road to Red Lobster. Far better

I've tried just about every seafood spot in Orlando and Seafood Heaven sits at #1. Not only do they prepare your crabs fast and fresh they have amazing flavor. Most places just put some garlic and a little butter on and send you on your way. Seafood Heaven has a unique seasoned garlic butter that beats the rest. The prices are moderate for seafood in Orlando but it's worth every penny. They aren't open too late during the week so you have to get in there before they close. One of the few seafood spots that has a website and online menu for previewing. Don't miss out. Go straight to Seafood Heaven. It's truly heavenly!

I am in love with Seafood Heaven. When I returned from college I was determined to find a reasonably priced and great tasting seafood spot in Orlando! It is a Christian family owned restaurant, so they close relatively early throughout the week and they are closed on Sundays. Therefore, initially it took me a while to catch them while they were open but once I did it was soooo worth it! The food is great and really seasoned! They don't just throw some butter sauce on your crabs it seems as if they put time and love into your food! Lol && Don't worry they have menu items for you non seafood lovers such as wings and other items. They have great lemon pepper wings and I am not even a lemon pepper fan. You can also purchase fresh seafood from them for great prices if you prefer to cook the seafood in the comfort of your own. I highly recommended this place to all of my family and friends and now to all of you!!

Now that is more like it. After the disaster that was my trip to Oley's Kitchen (see my review), I was about ready to just go to McDonalds or something and call it a day. But, I saw Seafood Heaven and decided to give it a try. Surely I couldn't go 0 for 2 on restaurants in the same day right? I am pleased to say Seafood Heaven was pretty much everything you want in a local restaurant. Good food. Good service. Good prices. The catfish was excellent. Very well seasoned and perfectly fried. Not greasy at all. Just really good. The wings here were also excellent. Again, very well seasoned and pretty much perfectly prepared. I will definitely be back to try the crabs. Seafood Heaven is right off of Colonial, but pretty easy to miss if you are speeding through as it is located in between a gas station and a barbershop. However, its well worth finding.

More people need to know about Seafood Heaven and the food that Crystal makes. She's as sweet as can be; the garlic blue crab and the garlic potatoes are out of this world good. Seafood Heaven is in Pine Hills, the neighborhood I grew up. Now I can only go back once a year, when I visit my Mom. This past vacation, I went to Seafood Heaven twice. The reason I don't give 5 stars (yet), is that Crystal (the owner) is sometimes held back by her suppliers. They sort of well, how does one put it...screw her over sometimes. But I'm not putting that on her. Just know that once she finds the perfect match, then she'll get five stars from me, no question. Note: it's not for ambiance. It's a quick kinda "to-go" crab shack. They offer huge plates for parties, which undoubtedly would be awesome. Oh, her tarter sauce is REALLY good. I don't normally get fried fish for fried shrimp (my Mom does), but man oh man.... It's good! This is a Mom and Pop restaurant you'll be happy to support. I hope you do.
