My first time going here. Had the steak sub and turkey sub. Unbelievable amount of items on the menu. From salads to pasta, really an insane amount of choices. I made the mistake and ordered the large steak sub. I wound up throwing 1/4 of the sub away too much. Take it from me get a regular size. We both liked our subs, Sub and drink cost me over $9', so really should have stuck with the regular. If you go there you will find something to order, there is just so many items you will find many to choose from. It looks like it has been there forever. They are not a deli like it states on yelp. Its a small building with tables outside in the open air.

I know this is an Orlando staple, so it kills me to give a poor review. Here's what I think: The service is great. We ordered and they called back, letting us know they'd run out of the item in question (cheese ravioli) so we asked for the ziti instead. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly cashier and picked up our food. There are picnic tables to sit on if you feel like dining there - and it's covered, outside seating. The menu is incredibly expansive with several hidden items. Good atmosphere, and they were fairly busy for a Friday afternoon, but not busy enough that we waited. Our food looked delicious. The problem was with taste. I'm not a big fan of salt, and what the food needed most was any seasoning whatsoever. The pasta in the ziti was overcooked to the point of being mush, the meatballs had no season and were tough, and the pasta sauce was closer to water than tomato sauce. It tasted like red water with a hint of citric acid to preserve freshness. I was so, so disappointed - this was after a morning of being told by all my co-workers how fantastic their food was. Truthfully, I've never had a dish - anywhere - that poorly cooked. My co-workers salmon burger and Greek salad looked wonderful, she let me know the taste was on point. Something else worth nothing is that the prices and items on the menu seem to be at huge disparity from when you arrive. The website had ziti listed as $4.95 and the actual price was $7.95. All of the other menu items had huge price differences, as well. I'll be giving this place one more shot due to the service and other reviews. Hoping this was just a bad day.

I went back to Rhino's for Lunch today. I called my order in and picked it up 10 minutes later. I threw caution to the wind and got the BLT which is basically a white hoagie roll, about 10 pieces of perfectly cooked bacon, and about a tablespoon of shredded lettuce, diced tomato and mayo just for that hint of condiment. It was a little greasy - but it IS a bacon sandwich, after all. It was pretty good, and I am going to smell like bacon for the rest of the day. Not a horrible thing in my book.

Rhino Subs is our 'Go To' place when we want a very good casual lunch or dinner. Food is always very good, prices are reasonable and the people are very friendly and appreciative. Our favorites are the Steak Tip Salads on Greek, Cubans, Steak subs and steak or Chicken kabob wraps.

I love this place. The employees are nice and the subs and fries are great. I hope to soon try some other items on the menu. They have so many items that look great. Seems like there's something good for everyone here.

Chicken kabob on Greek salad (regular size) and a large order of french fries for me and hubs to share was a damned decent lunch-even with the crazy Lee Road traffic noise. Their homemade dressing is soo good. Tons of food options-breakfast, even. Picnic tables outside, under a roof-very divey. Nice folks.

So maybe it's just because I work right by there, but I love this sandwich spot and am a loyal devotee. It's funny because it's not so super attractive from the outside, but I was convinced to eat there once by a coworker and just have never gone back. Things I've eaten there and loved: Cheesesteak (yes please!) Fries (how do they make them so good???) Cheese fries (ok only a little different but still) Steak tip garden salad (yummy!) Their homemade iced tea Omelet with vegetables (yes, they're open for breakfast and dinner too!) So basically that's only a small fraction of the menu... go try it for yourself. I guess cons would be there's no indoor seating, it looks kinda scruffy from the outside... umm... minimum credit card requirement of $7 or they add .50... really, all negligible to me. Staff are nice and attentive.

Rhino Subs has had its ups and downs over the eight or nine years it's been in business. Located right next door to Del Frisco's on Lee Road, it was originally owned by the Straub (seafood) family. When it first opened, it seemed like THE new place to go if you were in the Lee Road area for lunch. Since then, I believe it has changed owners a couple of times. As far as ups and downs, they seem to be in a down mode right now. They have an extensive selection of sandwiches, but lately I haven't found a standout among them. Better than Subway? You betcha. As good as LaSpada's? Don't count on it. 2 1/2 stars would be my vote if that were possible.

I love their subs! If you're not a huge fan of italian dressing just be aware they use it on a lot of their deli subs. I usually go light on the dressing. The owner is super nice too and always grateful for you stopping by! Suppose to have awesome philly cheesesteak too from what I've heard. They even have pasta meals at a great price!

Great sub shop with a huge menu that includes a ton of salads and dinner items. Walk up window and outside seating only. So, it can be a little dicey if the weather is bad. But the food is very much worth it.

I became a fan of the Rhino today. It was a pleasant surprise. I live close to this place and have driven by it numerious times and as other reviewers have pointed out, it's not very appealing from the outside. I am glad I have a curious personality and decided to Yelp this place. I decided to pop in b/c of several positive reviews and the extensive menu. I am a girl who likes her options when it comes to food and options they do have. i try to restrict my eating during the week to meats and veggies so I enjoyed the fact that I could go somewhere with menu options that were different than most quick eatery places where my options were limited to salads. I decided to order a couple of different items to try; I ordered a steak and broccoli wrap and decided to forego the wrap and just eat the filling. Very tasty. I also ordered a small order of chicken kabob over a greak salad - YUM!! It was just the right size of food for me. (They do have a large order available, as well). I ordered the hamburger and it was fairly standard but what was a nice treat was that at Rhino's they grill the bun! How can you not love it when a place grills a bun. This place also serves breakfast, which is really nice b/c sometimes I want a quick breakfast but not just a processed sandwich. Rhino's does have a drive up window but the girl at the counter said they don't pre-make items, so it's not like a traditional drive thru. She said that to save the customer some time, it's best for them to give a call ahead and then come thru the drive thru and pick it up. Definitely a good way to get a freshly made breakfast quickly on your way to work (downside: they don't open til 9 am though and i have to go in earlier - Oh well!) Still nice to know if i am ever craving some eggs or a veggie omelette. As other reviewers have mentioned it doesn't have any outside seating, just the pick up window and a walk up window but the outside eating area is covered. Prices are very reasonable. In short, this is a hidden gem. It is good, pleasant, quick, and an inexpensive place to eat that isn't your typical chain or franchise, I would recommend you give this place a chance and support the small business owners in Orlando. It might not have the prettiest exterior and of course, Lee Road has a reputation but the food was tasty, the place is clean and staff was friendly. I am looking forward to trying out many other items on their menu.

I was attacked verbally by the extremely aggressive owner because I took pictures of the menu to post here on yelp and urbanspoon he then followed me too my car and took photos of me. Avoid this place like plague.

Decent subs, nothing really special. They used to be a lot busier before LaSpada's opened just a bit further down Lee Rd. There is no inside seating so it's not the best place to go when the weather isn't nice. I've tried a couple of subs here over the years but nothing really stands out. Just kind of overall blah.

Tons of choices on the menu. Guy we ordered from was courteous. He recommended the Philly cheesesteak. It was Pretty good! There's also a nice outdoor seating area. Its a great lunch spot. I would definitely come back.
