I enjoy the modern atmosphere in the hotel lobby, swanky lighting and soft house music. The pool is great if you happen to be here on a day when there isn't a hurricane or summer thunderstorm rolling through. They offer comfy padded pool lounge chairs. The rooms are large, and I appreciate all of the fancy adapters to the television for connecting your laptops,ipods-pads, and other electronic devices.

I stay at Marriotts about three nights a week, and have never had as bad customer service as I had here. They failed to give me a wake up call, double charged me for parking, and when I addressed the hotel manager he came out and acted defensive. If you value a hotel, that treats you well, go out past the airport Renaissance and find something else.

I love this hotel. Its something about the ambience when you walk into the lobby, that makes you feel tranquil. The rooms have refrigerators, coffee makers, and pretty much all the amenities that you need for a short stay or a long stay. Make sure you go to happy hour at the bar, they have really killer Thai chicken wings :-) I love that you get Marriott reward points for your stay here. If you want excellent customer service, and lovely room you have to stay at the Renaissance!

Have stayed here several times when flying out early. Have gotten rates as cheap as $89/night. Very nice hotel. Nice staff. Conveniently located off of 436. Free shuttle to airport. They have park and fly. We paid an extra $30 to park our car at hotel for up to 14 days while on our trip. Much cheaper than economy parking if you need to stay at a hotel before you fly on a trip.

By far the BEST hotel I have stayed at in orlando area. Service was amazing and the food was great! Rooms were clean and big. No complaints! Can't wait to stay here again.

Looking to cash in on out of state tourist! This company DOES NOT allow any cabs or Uber drivers on their property to do pick ups! They have a "contract" with a highly overpriced company. Rip-off monopoly at it's best for out of town guest that don't know the Orlando area!

Lobby was very nice and modern. When we got to our room we were really let down. I really expected better rooms since this was part of the Renaissance Marriott line. Rooms are very used, outdated and really due for an update to be on par with the lobby and other common areas. Service was good and friendly. Price was fair. Was told rooms would be updated in September so will not stayd here again until this happens.

Unfortunately when we arrived, our king size bed reservation had been given to another guest. Consequently, my girlfriend and I were irate because that meant we had to sleep on 1 of the 2 double beds that would occupy our room. However, the hotel staff quickly compensated us with free parking (originally $16 per night) & access to free breakfast. Woo hoo!! Overall, the location is extremely central to dining & attractions & the rooms are extremely spacious, clean, the beds are comfy, and the decor, extremely modern.

The good: Clean, drink specials and extended Happy Hour. The bad: Parking fee, small gym, small pool, limited food choices in the bar/restaurant and customer service is non-existant here. Oh, and they don't brew Starbucks coffee. WTHeck???!? It is close to the airport and probably the nicest hotel close by. I would stay again if I had to. I would just not expect so much. I thought when you stayed @ Renaissance there was a certain level of standards but it isn't present in this hotel.

The lady at the front desk when I checked in was the quintessential example of poor customer service. It is my first time here and was appalled at the initial customer service, the lobby is sheek, but they are trying really hard to appease a niche of people. I had a spring bed, which was so-so, the person in the room next to me woke me up promptly at 5:00am when he blared the news in his room. Wifi was awful in my room. The conference I attended there was catered well, the food and snacks were delicious and overall conference venue was slightly above average nothing to rave about.

Great hotel with all the amenities! The room is spacious and ready for a tired business traveler. Very friendly staff as well.

This establishment was amazing!! The decor alone was fabulous! This is a must stay place in Orlando, Florida for sure. Also, they allowed us to check in early instead of waiting and they had a special place to keep my boyfriend's golf clubs. Therefore, we did not have to worry about taking them to the room. The bar is very nice and the food was great!

Nice well appointed rooms. But walls are paper-thin and you can hear EVERYTHING even from several doors down. Staff friendly and professional.

Wife and I stayed here with my family before we left on a cruise. It was ideally located as we had to travel from San Francisco and wanted a place close to the Orlando Airport and we ended up here at the Renaissance. Upon walking in you can't help but be impressed. They spent a lot of money on making this hotel look first class. Everything here is very clean and upscale. We got our room and headed up to our room. Again, the room like the lobby and everything else had a very upscale and clean look. The bed was clean with plenty of pillows, they have a flat screen TV (no HiDef) with several cable channels and HBO. The bathroom here is very nice looking with lots of stone work and the sink and toilet/shower are in separate rooms. The facilities here also include a very nice bar area and restaurant that serves a good breakfast buffet, a clean gym, and a nice pool area. Lots of positives to the Renaissance, unfortunately, despite all this, there were several problems I encountered during our stay. First the AC and temperature control for the room didn't work at all. We were fine for one night, but if it was hotter, it would have been a major problem. Second the walls are paper thin. I could hear both my neighbors and their TVs. Third the hot water in the shower didn't get that hot. I would say it was luke warm at best. Fourth, the bed was very stiff. It was clean, but it was one of the more stiff beds I've slept in awhile. Overall, great on the exterior, not so good when it comes down to the nuts and bolts. Overall the Renaissance is 3 Star hotel, quick to impress, but lacks any depth.

Nice looking . Over priced pay to park pay for internet Food the worse I have ever ate. There is only one towel rack in the bathroom and it is over the tub so when you wash your hands you have to use a towel laying on the small counter. Nothing to do around the hotel no shuttles except to airport. Clean though.

The rooms have loud heaters/air-conditioners which sound like a train coming through the room all night. Breakfast was poor quality and I've had better service in drive throughs.

Always liked the Renaissance Hotels best in the Marriott family! Arrived late Thanksgiving evening after spending all day flying coast to coast...and were greeted with a glass of bubbly at check-in. No clue whether that was SOP or because it was a holiday, but it was most appreciated. Our room was, as expected, clean and comfortable and after quick showers we all fell into bed. The next morning, we hit up the concierge lounge for breakfast (I have platinum status with Marriott) and this was a real disappointment: with almost an hour to go, half of the food (especially the fresh fruit) was gone and what was left (e.g. scrambled eggs) was unfit for consumption. The hostess apologized profusely and referred us to the downstairs crew. There we were offered complimentary access to the main breakfast buffet, which was delicious. 3 out of my family of 4 had already somewhat filled up on the disappointing concierge lounge food, but we made up for this the next day, when we were offered access to the main breakfast buffet for $ 5.00. The selection was huge and the service flawless. All in all, not a bad place to spend my Marriott points, we were hitting the parks and jumping off on a cruise and while not the closest location, it was still convenient enough...and the folks there couldn't be more dedicated to doing the right thing.

I have stayed here 4 times in the past 2 years, and the hotel has been vastly improved in that time. The most obvious difference it the redesigned lobby. It has a classy, clean-cut look (unlike before), with a stone waterfall concealing the restaurant and modern teal chairs reflecting off the large white tile floor. I appreciated the free shuttle to and from the airport. It arrived within 5 minutes of me calling from the airport, and it leaves every half-hour during the day to take patrons back. I was also impressed by the large size of my king bed room, which included a chaise lounge. The only complaint I had was that the television would not maintain a standard volume from channel to channel. As for amenities, the pool is also a nice size, and the cabanas are a nice touch; it was difficult to tell that I was actually surrounded by a parking lot instead of in more secluded terrain. I also used the gym, which has a nice range of equipment (several ellipticals, treadmills, and weights). I used the elliptical machine, and it was in very nice shape with it's own television. I attended several business meetings here, and the staff did a good job preparing the spaces and providing requested food/drink. Both the small rooms and the large "stadium seating" rooms served their purposes well.

I stayed here for 3 weeks at the beginning of this year and I don't think I have ever slept better in my entire life. I understand that the hotel recently went through some major renovations, and while I can't comment on what it was like before the remodeling, I can say that this is a great hotel with a friendly staff. The staff was always eager to help, and they have a shuttle going to and from the airport every few minutes. The breakfast buffet every morning was just what I needed to start my day, that is after I was able to drag myself out of those heavenly beds. The rooms are quite large with big, flat screen TVs. They also have a nice little lounge that serves some tasty food and great drinks, as well as a restaurant serving a full dinner daily. If you are in need of staying near the airport (it is about 3 minutes away) I would definitely recommend staying at the Renaissance.

Pleasantly surprised. In fact I visited on a work conference and thought I must have walked into the wrong hotel by mistake because it was a little too nice! The hotel has a different vibe the moment you walk into lobby. Modern decor and spacious. You can tell they put some thought into the layout and design. Contemporary art and a glass waterfall set the scene in front of the restaurant, Fresco a moderne brassiere. (No continental breakfast included) Ample parking and lots of space for meetings and conferences to fit your group's size. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. Not as updated as the lobby but I was not disappointed. Very friendly staff from check-in to check-out. Conveniently located near the airport in addition to lots of commercially available restaurants. I would certainly be back if I need a place to stay before a flight or at another conference.

We chose this last night after only looking at TripAdvisor. Mistake. At first glance, the windowed exterior looks like a downtown office building. The lobby is deceiving, so don't be excited about the appearance of your room after you've seen it. Outside of the lobby/bar and fitness area, the place is a mismatch of upgrades. The bar area is still a pig with lipstick if you look closely. And when was the last time you saw a corded office-style phone by your toilet? If there is more than 1 elevator working, then you'll be able to get to your room in a timely fashion. Not the case for us. The hallway carpet on the 5th floor looks like it belongs in a Vegas casino. They may have replaced the doors, but not the 90's style locks. The tile in the room/bathroom looks grungy, and again with the carpet?! Rainbow-esque striped. The bathroom shower curtains are so flimsy that we had a pool of water by the toilet in no time, and there was hair in the tub upon arrival. The cable TV channels didn't work at all. The voices skipped and the picture was grainy. We woke up to a puddle of water on the tile this morning underneath the air conditioning vent. The hair dryer was dirty. I don't even know how that's possible, but it was sticky and covered in a weird textured dust. Even the yellowish-beige wall outlet plates looked worn. Everything felt dirty, even before we found hair in the bedsheets . So 2 stars for the free parking that we managed to finagle and proximity to the airport. I'm not sure how this is considered a Category 5 hotel for Marriott. This seemed more like a cheap motel.

The hotel is very close to the Orlando airport and they have a shuttle service for pick up and drop off. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was large and comfortable (great beds too!). The bathroom was large and there was a refrigerator and a little bar area. The staff was so happy and friendly. The hotel is not convenient to any of the theme parks but a great place to go, enjoy the quiet and decompress before your long flight home!

The food. Well. It sucks. I came at 1045 after a long flight. The hotel graciously gave me a $10 food voucher. I got a diet Pepsi, club sandwich and homemade chips. The diet Pepsi was good. The sandwich was limp. Yes limp. Dry toast limp lettuce warm tomatoes and turkey fragments. Half of the chips were chewy. The chef should be fired. If the kitchen closes at 11 and can't serve decent food at 1045, then close the kitchen at 1030. I'm sure the chef isn't actually here, but it's his kitchen and his responsibility.

We had a great 2 night stay at the Renaissancce Hotel but we gave this hotel 3 stars due to their parking situation. At $14 a day you would hope to get a parking spot. People park everywhere illegally. They park on the grass, the middle of the aisles. It is ridiculous. Their parking lot is NOT adequate for the amount of guests they have. Our 2nd day we ended up paying more for valet since I couldn't find a parking spot. The hotel is immaculate. It is clean and well designed. I love the aqua blue theme. I liked tHat the elevators were quick and always available. I'm sorry I wouldn't stay again if I had a vehicle with me.

We had an outstanding experience. It is still going on!!:) Tomorrow is the last date for our event- It is September 19-21'2014...but the way they operate, We should not forget and we have to ensure they get the good dues for the hard work, non-tiring, continuous work. Without the help it would not be a great success. This is Sri - Platinum Elite But I am with as one of the Volunteer and co-ordinates more with the hotel people -personnel who are working -as i am a grass root worker. I would appreciate , if this is communicated to the world how Hindu Mandir executive conference went really well - It should go to the level of owner Rama also1!:)-who is awesome and great .. Following Personnel did fantastic job - I had the great experience for the past two days: 1. Suzi Murtha - Front desk 2. Susan Muscarella -Banquets room -she is outstanding and yesterday she was kind enough to extend more time for people coming late -very awesome 3. Neel -who is very quick, awesome and most helpful... 4. Joelle Anthony- Front desk 5. Mike - valet parking or who is outside -to park or bring luggage-very useful. On Friday without his help, we would have been in great trouble..All of them were really big and heavy-he was super good and nice person... Valet guys -most of them are nice. 6. Driver who drove during lunch hour - shuttle very nice and easy going -she is so customer friendly -nice person. These people did travel extra mile-great service -we have to ensure to mention their name for all the great service. Any good work should not go unnoticed...It will not look nice when we had celebrated at your premise with an easy way -this means a great service..these are people I had come across Most important Cynthia - Navigator or person in-charge for entire event- event manager is really awesome. Thanks again Sri Sridhar Rangaswamy

Having to pay $14 extra to park a car is a huge annoyance. The lobby of this hotel is beautiful! The check in process was fast (arrived very late). He swiped my credit card, gave me a room key, and pointed to the elevators. Didn't ask if I had any questions or if I wanted to know where anything in the hotel was, it seemed like he wanted to get back to the conversation the rest of the employees were having. The room is nice. The frame on one bed rattles anytime someone moves on it and the bed sheets had a faint stain on them. One of the 2 windows was damaged, so full of condensation that you can't really see clearly out of it and the dark drapes don't fully close leaving a 3 inch gap.

I held a conference there on 9/21 and was totally overbilled. I had my own AV equipment and they wanted to charge for that. I was billed twice for water and coffee. I tried to straighten out the bill the next day, finalized it, paid for it and then they still came back and over charged me a week later. When I disputed it through my Visa card, they refused to provide an itemized bill. When my banker got involved because she could see the problem, she agreed I was overcharged even AFTER seeing an itemized bill. Now unless I want to go to court I can't get my money back. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this hotel - we give conferences about every 2 months, so we're no strangers to hotel conferences, but this one will bilk you without blinking an eye.

I needed a place near the airport to catch an early flight and I got a good deal to stay on the concierge floor. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. Service was attentive. It is a bit nicer than that a Courtyard, but only a bit. I would stay here again for convenience to the airport.

Excellent hotel, awaiting flight out for tomorrow. Excellent service, comfortable room, with all amenities and fitness center. Staff is courteous, and very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel for those who want to stay close to the airport. The cocktail lounge is comfortable, however, the cost of alcohol beverage is extremely expensive. Hotel room, offers a microwave and refrigerator. Free shuttle to airport and local restaurants.

One of the nicest Marriott hotels. I was really impressed by how friendly the Front Desk associates are, always smiling, friendly and helpful. (I had a chance to be at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista hotel, as well - but honestly, not everyone was so friendly when talking me as in Renaissance Airport Hotel). The room was big and clean, and the bed was comfortable. As I travel a lot, it is very important for me to have a comfy bed and good pillows. The breakfast buffet (about $15.90 or free of charge for Platinum Members) had many breakfast/lunch options. Lots of fruit, freshly made omelettes, potatoes, sausages, cheese and different types of meats. The hotel has a nice dining area, concierge level on the 9th floor, little cafeteria where you can buy latte or sandwich, and such beautiful lobby! I still take one star off because I had very slow internet (that kept disconnecting pretty often) and the heating was not working properly.

I stayed here recently for a work training that was also held in the hotel. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the catering people who provided our meals, was super friendly and helpful. I thought the hotel itself was very nice, they have some great Christmas decorations up right now. Sometimes hotels (espcially at the holidays) are decorated in a way that feels so busy and overwhelming but this one didn't feel like that at all. I only spent one night here but the room was nice and comfortable. My room was on the end of a hallway but close to the elevators (not too close). This is one of those hotels with those tiny pillows (seems to be the norm now) which I absolutely hate but not a big deal. I only used the small coffee maker in the room to run water through for tea (I think it was actually missing a piece that would have allowed me to make coffee but no big deal) and it worked well for that. The "refreshing" soap bars in the bathroom were awful (very drying) but I really liked the shampoo. The food and drinks we had downstairs were very good and they had out drinks (coffee, hot tea, sodas, etc) and cookies during each of our training sessions, which was nice. I can't imagine staying there again for anything but a work event, only because of it's location (if I need to use the Orlando airport I have no real reason to stay overnight, it's kind of a drive from anything I would typically go to Orlando for). If you need a place to stay in the area, I'd recomend it.

I am so impressed with Renaissance Orlando Airport. I stayed here for the last two nights or a 2 day conference and I can say is the staffs' customer service were excellent. They took care of everything that we needed for the conference. Everyone was friendly , courteous, and most importantly all of the staff were smiling all the time. I'm hoping that Renaissance management is reading this Yelp because I personally believe that each and every staff at the Renaissance should be commended and should be properly compensated for the excellent customer service. The room I stayed in was clean and the bed is very comfortable. The food at the hotel's lobby was very good. Although a bit expensive but well worth the money. If you are looking for a hotel around the Orlando Airport I highly recommend Renaissance Orlando Airport.

The Pros: Fast elevator, i never wait more than 15 seconds to get in to the elevator Quiet, didn't notice any sound when airplane is landing, Room is somewhat clean, Free shuttle to take you to 2 miles radius and airport but you have to wait. That's it... really! The Cons: No automatic door and no one will help you opening it at the parking lot door! How can this be 4 start rated hotel? Wifi is dropping heck a lot in my room, signal is strong, but Internet was so poor and I have to use my own MiFi 100% of the time, I don't think this place is good for business stay Hair dryer doesn't stay on for more than 25 seconds, that is right, i counted when i was using it, after 25 seconds, it stopped, the plug is dead until 5~10 min later, then died again after 25 seconds of use, Lack of hanger in the bathroom, Shower water flow is really bad, really low, No free parking, $10 a day for self parking The neutral: 1 Microwave 1 small refrigerator Storage space Room size Power plug was enough Only 1 TV Pretty small window, that was expected anyway No free breakfast I will not come here again with $139/night price

This hotel has nice rooms and amenities. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was nice and big. Being close to the airport the walls and windows were thick enough you didn't hear too much airplane noise. They have a parking fee so to save money and an extra day of car rental we checked in and dropped our stuff in the room then turned in our rental car at the airport and found the shuttle back to the hotel. We felt rushed checking in and dropping off our spot because the spaces were 15 min only, giving us a half hour would have been nice but the front desk lady said no the space was only a 15 min spot. Tip: You have to call and request the shuttle it doesn't make regular rounds and it took a long time for the shuttle to come. Make sure to ask which numbered spot the shuttle is going to they aren't marked by which company stops where. Coffee and tea are provided and the coffee maker only makes a single serving at a time luckily I noticed they only provide you with enough coffee to make one serving so I asked the maid cleaning the floor for more and she happily gave me three extra! The pool and hot tub are nice but there were people smoking by the pool even though there were big non smoking signs. Also I called down asking if there were towels for the pool and was told that they were poolside... I was told that both times I visited and I have yet to see a towel by the pool! So yes they are slacking in a few areas but they are my go to hotel near the Orlando Airport. And their price on Hotwire is right for they quality of service you receive! (It's usually the cheapest 4 star hotel by the airport both times I chose that option this is the hotel I get!

Nice setting, good prices, full menu with generous portions. The wine was a bit pricey. Convenient if you don't have transportation. Left there with a full belly and a quenched thirst.

Nice room with all of the usual features I would expect in a nice hotel, but pillows are tiny. I mean like 12x12 inches...okay they might have been 15x15 inches, but not much more. My room mate had to get her room key changed the second time she went to the room, then again later when she was coming in late. When I left in the morning to go out and get coffee my key wouldn't open the gate so I had to go back inside TWICE to get someone to let me out of the gate. Later they just left the gates open. The conference room we were in for our event was nice and comfortable. It had great tea and drink service. The best thing I think about this hotel was the food. We had buffet with our event for lunch each day and it was outstanding. That impressed me. If we didn't have so many problems with the keys this would be higher review.

I stay here regularly for work even though it's not close to the office. It's much better than the hotels near the office so I'm willing to make the extra drive. It has a nice, modern look with bright colors. Most importantly, the customer service really is great and professional. The front desk staff is consistently very nice and friendly, and not because they have to be. The one time I had to call to replace a light bulb, they were very quick to show up and even called to give me an update. Many of my colleagues are regulars and the staff at the lounge knows them by name. They use Aveda products which seem to sneak their way into my bag when I check out. I find the beds comfortable and better than other Renaissance or equivalent hotels, so no complaints there. And I've never noticed any airplane noise during my stays. If you're a Marriott Rewards member, they even give you a gift bag when you check in. I've never had that at any other Marriott hotel. Highly recommend if you are staying in this area.

I stay here for work often. The air conditioning is hit and miss. The Orlando humidity can be overbearing but the upper hotel floors are always humid. the concierge lounge staff are wonderful.

Beautiful hotel, very nice rooms, friendly staff and very close to everything. Only 20 minutes to I-drive and the outlets. There is a $15 daily parking fee, couldn't get out of and the toilet in my room was making a small noise constantly. However, the comfy bed, good price I got on Priceline and convenience of being near the airport for my conference made up for it.

The staff and rooms were okay - nothing particularly better than any other Marriott. I was not particularly happy with the parking charges though - the Courtyard just across the street has free parking and a free breakfast. Lesson learned.

First let me say this: the price was great. We also worked out having the parking fee waived so that made it even better. The staff was fairly friendly, though I had a difficult time getting another room key because the room was in my boyfriends name. That is for the protection of the guests, so I'm glad they do that, but when I present the credit card used to purchase the room and the woman tells me the numbers don't match, then she actually looks and sees that they do, that was irritating. Our room was large and comfortable, though we had trouble controlling the temperature. It was either hot or cold. Though it was 80* while we stayed there, the pool temperature was too cool for us to swim in. The gym looks really nice, but it's small and the few mornings I went down to use it, all the machines I wanted to use were taken. It wasn't a big deal though, I ran outside in the cool morning air. I asked about guest laundry after reading another reviewer saying they offered it, but two of the front desk attendants told me they do not have laundry onsite. The commute to get where we were going was easy, this hotel is along a few popular roads, so it didn't take long to get anywhere in Orlando. I also got the feeling that the concierge lounge doesn't see many children at this location. The staff up there seemed a bit colder than we are used to. The great price and the breakfast buffet offered on Sunday mornings is what will bring us back there.

I am usually a big fan of Rennaissance because you get all the good service of Marriott while being in a slighlty more upscale hotel than your regular Marriott or Courtyard. Nothing is wrong about this one, it does the job but I wasn't wowed about it at all. Rooms are good but standard. Concierge lounge offers very limited food options for dinner and breakfast comparing to other Marriott. Gym is small, they should upgrade it by simply getting few yoga mats or balance balls. Pool is also small and doesn't feel very "renaissance like". Food at the bar downstairs was fairly good. I had a good hanger steak with caesar salad. The staff however is absolutely lovely from check in until check out. Again, if you get a good deal and don't have too high expectations like me then you should be ok with this hotel.

This is going to have to be a two part review because the hotel service was not very good. The rooms were nice as was the hotel bar so I will rate those in a separate paragraph. I was down in Orlando for work and I checked in to this Renaissance on a Friday night. The front desk tells me all bout the concierge lounge and what time it's open, etc. Well Concierge lounge isn't usually open on Friday night, but ok if you tell me it is then I will trust you. So I go to the top floor and the lounge is closed. I go back to my room and call downstairs and am told that it's open and that I might just be looking in the wrong place... really!?! I go back to the top floor because at this point I think I might be going crazy, and sure enough the lounge is where I thought it was and it's closed. Whatever, I quit. I go downstairs to the front desk and am told by a third person that the lounge is closed but I will get breakfast in the morning with my vouchers; I wasn't given vouchers at check-in so now I have to start that process. I have now been at this hotel for 25min. and run in circles while each desk person tells me a different story. THEN The next morning when I check-out I was not charged a parking fee even though I had a car and the fee was clearly stated at the gates to park the car. I am told not to worry, just swipe the hotel key at the exit and I will be let out. Ok if you say so but my room balance doesn't show the parking fee so I'm doubtful. Sure enough, I pull up to the parking gates and my card won't work, I then have to press the help button and wait for someone to let me out.... Grrr! Obviously there is a training issue because the service is confused and generally awful. The rooms however are very nice. They were large and clean and I was pleased to find that I had a mini-fridge in the room. Everything was updated and though the view from the room isn't the best, it was fun to watch the planes coming and going. The hotel bar was so much fun! The bartenders are great and personable. They remembered my name throughout the night and checked on me often. I drink vanilla vodka and diet coke when cider beer isn't' available and it was $8 for a double here, not too pricey given that it's a hotel bar. They did have a happy hour as well where they had a few appetizer specials, and house wine was $5 a glass which was a bargain. I met an eclectic group of people staying at the hotel that evening as well and we all sat at the bar and chatted for a few hours. This bar had a great energy! Overall, I might stay here again. The front desk being sooo bad was a total turn-off but the rest of the experience was great so I might be willing to try again in the future.

I stay here once every 10 days on average, and find the staff to be SUPER personable and friendly! This is my favorite home-away-from-home, with a quick check-in, fair prices on food, happy hour specials, and a pretty quiet and clean pool area. I've NEVER smelled of chlorine when leaving the pool, and haven't ever experienced a crowd there either. GREAT place to lay out and enjoy the sun, or to lay in the little covered cabanas to stay out of the direct sunlight. Beds are comfortable if not a little more firm than some hotels. Clean bathrooms, and AVEDA products!!! Flatscreen televisions allow for you to plug in with a monitor cable and audio cable to enjoy browsing or Netflix on a large screen! Plenty of food options within walking distance, though this isn't the ideal spot to get to a Disney/Universal/Sea World park as the shuttle goes just to the airport. Overall, a great value, clean, quiet, friendly and comfy!

Great place! I stayed here a few months ago for work and I never wanted to leave! It was so spacious, clean, and comfy! I had a dining room, living room, tv of course, desk, and a bed...The funny thing was...when I walked into my room I was like "WHERE THE HELL IS MY BED!?" I couldn't figure it out. I was such a dummy! I thought there was a hidden room somewhere where the bed was suppose to be. I realized it was a pull out bed from the wall unit! I've never seen such a thing before except on TV! It was kinda cool actually. So ya great roomy place! Very close to all the theme park action and service is great!

WHO KNEW? When I first found out that I was booked at an hotel with "airport" in the name, I instantly prepared myself for the worst. I was imagining seedy characters hanging out in the lobby, stained carpets, and the sound of jets constantly flying overhead. Boy was I wrong. The Renaissance was recently remodeled and the place looks sharp! My room had a flat screen TV, the bed was extremely comfortable, I rarely ever heard the roar of jet engines, and the staff members were among the most polite I've ever encountered at a non-luxury hotel. They also have a convenient shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. I'd definitely go back.
