This is the first Qdoba I have ever seen/eaten at, as there are not any where I am from. And I absolutely love Qdoba more than Chipotle or Moe's. They are far more "special diet" friendly as I like whole wheat tortillas and I also like vegetarian food and nachos, among other things. Their queso is actually good, as with other places the queso is very mediocre. I have been to other Qdoba's since my first experience at this location, and I must say this location, the food is always lukewarm. I usually order my food to go and then catch the UCF shuttles home and then heat it up in the microwave just to have the food at the right temperature. I never eat it in the store anymore because of how not-hot the food is. I also enjoy the Qdoba reward card and keep one on my keychain. I have already received 2 free burritos by using this, and as a poor college student, it's nice to receive! I recommend Qdoba to anyone, just go home and heat up your food first!

In all honesty, I like Chipotle better. But, when you are on the UCF campus and you have a hankering for Chipotle, Qdoba makes for a perfect substitute. This restaurant has all the same offerings as Chipotle. The menu items are more expensive, but they don't charge extra for guacamole and other premium toppings. Beware of long lines around lunch time.

Service was quick and friendly enough. Normally there is a long line but it's to be expected when people are allowed to choose what they want in their dish. I ordered a chicken and rice bowl. The chicken was fresh and the rice was that perfect combo of stick but still not stuck together completely. The lettuce was yellow and lackluster. It took away from the bowl completely and ruined the dish.

Just ate my first naked burrito from Qdoba. I honestly wasn't wowed. The food is just ok and isn't something I will come back to eat. For about a dollar cheaper I rather go to the nearest chipotle and get a bowl with more food and better tasting. I will say tho; they do have good guac but that about it. Service was good the cashier was nice.

Holy Guacamole! It's no Mexican standoff when comparing this fast food restaurant to the popular host of names that come to mind when craving that quick burrito or quesadilla. Qdoba wins hands down. The menu is simple, but the quality of the food and the generous-sized portions make this a very popular spot at the UCF Student Union, where I was attending summer orientation with my incoming freshman daughter. The quesadilla I had was loaded with grilled chicken, roasted chili corn, pico de gallo, salsa, queso and plenty of shredded cheese. Two average eaters could probably share one. But it tastes so good, you probably won't want to. The Ritz Carlton couldn't do it any better. Chipotle, Moe's and Tijuana Flats, Qdoba's Mexican competitors, just don't measure up. The staff was also very helpful and courteous. In addition to the quesadillas and burritos, you can get 3-cheese nachos, taco salads, tacos and an interesting twist called Craft 2. This allows you to have two normal-sized portions of your favorite dishes, when you can't decide on just one. For quality, portion size and good value, I hope Qdoba finds its way south to Palm Beach and Broward counties soon. There's a cluster of them in Central Florida. In the meantime, it will be one of my definite stops when visiting my daughter at UCF during the next four years.

The long lines out the door make me wonder why no one else has reviewed this Qdoba location inside UCF's Student Union. It is not only conveniently located for students and faculty on campus but also has freshly prepared food. I like coming here for the whole wheat chicken quesadilla, chicken Mexican Gumbo with brown rice, and the Craft 2 menu. More often than not I want variety for lunch so I pick two from the list and I am never disappointed. The staff works hard to keep the line moving. Fresh food and a variety of sodas (my favorite is some lemonade mixed with unsweetened tea though) makes lunch a tasty experience. The space itself is rather narrow and sometimes it seems to burst out of its seams. When it rains outside then this whole inside seating area is over-crowded. But this is true for other parts of the UCF campus as well.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
