I was really looking forward to coming here since they closed all businesses here in NJ. I had ordered their pork dish and did enjoy it. The only thing I did regret was to tell them to put the black beans on the side because it made my rice watered down. The rating is 2 stars because there are lots of negative things and perhaps it was only this branch in Florida. Its 90 plus degree with humidity, the place has no AC, wtf. The tables aren't clean. The condiments stand has little to nothing available depending on which condiments and dressings you are looking for. They have an employee supposedly cleaning the tables, sweeping the floors and checking on the condiments area. I thought once the teenage employee saw that there is nothing left on certain condiments, that he will go refill it. He left and as I waited with my family to eat, I turned around few minutes later and spot the employee sitting at a corner texting on his cell. The tables and floor is still dirty so I have no freakin clue what the boy was cleaning or in this case wasn't cleaning. Overall, food was good but I'd recommend others to go to another restaurant location with AC and is clean and provides full condiments!

Come here for great chicken and HORRID SERVICE. I've yet to encounter one drive thru cashier at this location that didn't look and act like they hate their job. It's truly sad because the food is good. No more for us!

What can I say? I'm a Pollo Tropical junkie and eat at multiple locations in the Orlando area depending on where I am working or visiting. This location can vary from making delicious tropichops (basically an AMAZING bowl of your combination of meat, beans, rice and veggies) to mediocre tropichops missing out on an adequate portion of meat. Overall, this location is super clean and has ample seating.

I love Latin cooking. . But I was really disappointed when I went to this location tonight .. my son's ribs were over cooked (black and dry) chicken was undercooked and they for got the rolls .... Not happy...

How can there be a 30 minute wait for a piece of chicken? Wouldn't substitute anything for the lack of chicken. The lady behind the register couldn't communicate with English speaking customers. Left and went next door to waffle house.

Good food and prices. Love their Sweet Plantains, Caesar salads, and sandwiches. Tried the wings last night and they were on the dry side (may have been old) but the seasoning was good. The marinade they use on their chicken is good and it is grilled which is even better. The soups are also good and warming on those cold days!

What to say about Pollo Tropical? It's delicious, it's healthy (kind of), it's fast and it's 1 minute from my house. Basically you can't go wrong by ordering anything with rice and beans and either steak, chicken or pork. My favorite dish from Pollo Tropical is the Pork Tropichop with yellow rice and black beans. Delicioussss! For dessert skip the flan and the tres leches, go with the guava cheesecake instead, you will not the disappointed! One quick and VERY important tip: Whenever you order through the Drive Thru, while you are still at the window, make sure you check that everything inside your bag is correctly. 90% of the time these guys either forget one of your items or they mess up on the order! So, if you don't want to get home and find yourself face to face with a chicken quesadilla instead of the delicious ribs you ordered, make sure to check your bag before you drive off! :-)

I have visited this specific Pollo Tropical a few times now. Unfortunately the people that frequent this place are usually what makes my experience very unpleasant. A lot of them are just rude. They push their way through the line and interrupt the workers when they are clearly taking care of someone else. I've also gotten dirty looks in place of thank you's whenever I hold the door for someone. However the past couple of times it's been made worse by a lack of cleanliness, long wait after I ordered, and bad food! The workers were completely behind on cooking the chicken and were yelling at each other in front of the customers to hurry up. The sauce bar was not only basically empty, but it also was crusty and dirty. It made me feel almost germophobic to where I started thinking about how many people touched it. Anyway I just swung by the drive through yesterday to avoid going inside and my food was terrible.... I ordered a small tropi chop plain with just chicken and yellow rice with veggies. I also ordered a fruit only mango tropi chiller. The rice was cold, mushy, and very salty. The chicken was room temperature and some of the pieces had small bones in them which made it annoying to eat. Even the garlic sauce I asked for on top even though it was given to me on the side was chunkier than usual. As for my tropi chiller, this has been my go to drink at this franchise for many years, and it did not even taste like this staple at all. I'm so sad that this is such a busy pollo tropical and virtually the only one close by to me. It's giving the franchise a bad rep. I am a pollo tropical lover which is why I keep going despite my bad experiences and I only ever write good reviews on yelp, but this had to be done.

I tried the chicken and pork. I did salad and yucca for sides. For a fast food chain it was great! If I lived here ; I'd have lunch here every week. Healthy (if you order right), my order was ready in 5 minutes and the price was great! Would you please open one in my home town in the other Orange County?!?

Have missed this place a lot as I have lived out of state for a few years. This one is right near the house now and I will visit often. Sad to see that they no longer have the deep fried pork but pretty much everything else is the same. Get half a chicken and some beans and rice, there is like four combinations for beans and rice. Then go to the condiment bar and grab some salsa and barbecue sauce. Add the salsa to the beans and rice and the barbecue sauce to the chicken and you got yourself one of the best meals on earth. I'm pretty darn particular about my barbecue but for chicken this place is in the top five. Wait, what? This isn't a barbecue restaurant? Lol, that's what ya'all think. Whoever runs this place may have a 'Tropical' background but they put out one mighty fine barbecue sauce that pairs very well with their menu. Bet he's a hillbilly that lived in Nassau for a couple years. Always fast service, dine in or take out. Shut up, I know it's a chain :P one of few with a bit of cred. They do what they do very well and very fast and have been doing it for many years. That's worth a little respect. Even though they got rid of my deep fried pork. Shut UP, I'll decide what is healthy and should come off the darn menu, thank you very much. :D Give it a try and enjoy.

Man, I miss this chain. I'm not a fan of fast food, but this stuff is just too good! I love the pork dishes, but the chicken is good too. And the sides, like beans & rice, plantains, and tomatoes, are tasty. Maybe I'm deluding myself, but it just seemed better for me than other fast food. It definitely tastes fresher and is well-prepared.
