Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Happiness is gluten free pizza! The ingredients are so fresh. The people are so nice. I'm impressed. The cool thing is that it is located in the Artegon Marketplace, a market where local artist and crafters sell their wares. Great shopping and great food. I suggest the Artegon Ana. Its a white pizza with unique toppings like chick peas, artichikes, and truffle oil.

Located in the Artegon Marketplace, they make your pizza in a couple minutes. Sooo I built my own and went overboard on this one- blended cheese, pepperoni, sausage, chicken, mahi mahi, green peppers and mushrooms. It went through the oven in about 2 minutes and then I decided to top it off with some more toppings- garlic, feta, basil, and truffle oil which were all free. I guess I was hungry so wanted everything I could possibly fit on it. The crust was thin and good. The pizza as a whole was good except I probably won't get mahi mahi next time cause it was a bit on the dry side. Six toppings you choose for a little less than $8. I like this place, fast convenient and you can take a nice stroll around the marketplace afterwards.

Pizza is pizza right? Not so!! I LOVE this place! You can either start with their own creations or build your own like I've done each time. Start with your choice of pizza dough (white, wheat or gluten free) and then just the right amount of sauce (always a good helping but not too much so as to drown out the flavor of topping like some places). So far I've loved the white sauce but the others are tempting too. Several different cheeses and LOTS of topping choices allow for new choices each time. The toppings always appear fresh and the staff is very generous with the portions. After a quick bake of the pizza, you then have your choice of a finishing touch such as fresh basil or truffle oil to name only a couple. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming, my only complaint would be they aren't closer (which given how good they are and the decent prices, may not be terrible). Give them a try!

I love the fact that I can come to Pizza @ Artegon, order a personal-sized pizza and have it baked fresh right before my eyes. They have tons of toppings ranging from traditional to the unique. Service is lackluster at times, but otherwise they are a friendly bunch. I highly recommend adding truffle oil to any pizza you decide to try. If you're visiting Artegon, give this place a chance. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I stopped in for a bite to eat on a recommendation of a friend and Pizza @ has no become my favorite pizza of all time. I created my own pizza (wanna be chef), a take on a Hawaiian pizza - whole wheat dough, white sauce, mozzarella, green peppers, ham and pineapple of course then I added smoked pulled pork (think luau) and mahi mahi a delicious Hawaiian fish. Front start to finish it took about 4 minutes to finish. Service was friendly and staff knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I am not sure when they are coming to the Tampa area but sign me up to be on the list. In the meantime I will be finding more reasons to visit Orlando just to stop by Pizza @ - my new White Castle!

This weekend, my family and I began craving the Pizza @ Artegon so since I had to pick up something at the Marketplace Framing, I visited this establishment and ordered two pizzas. This review is not based on the Pizza but on the service or should I say lack of service. I've decided not to call her out and I wasn't going to write this but this business has no other form of contact. I looked on their website and on Yelp and there is no email or private message options. I continue to be a big fan of the pizza and the concept but unfortunately the service was non-existent yesterday. When I approached the counter, she did not greet, smile or even say a word. I stood there and she just looked at me with a face like she didn't want to be there. I told her I wanted 2 pizzas to go and she assumed I wanted white bread and red sauce and she began to prepare it. I asked for eggs on one of the pizzas and she said "we're out and we need to make some". So I chose other toppings and they were both placed in the drive thru oven. Another customer's pizza came out prior to mine and as she prepared to place it in the box, one of the slices fell face down on the prep counter. I thought to myself, she's going to have to make another one now but I was wrong, she grabbed the slice and threw it in the box. I found that to be unhygienic considering it was not spotless and there were pices of food on top. Thankfully that wasn't mine because I would've asked for a new one. When my pizzas came out, they went into the box without a problem and after I paid, I didn't get a thank you or any type of dialogue for the exception of "you can grab your own cup of soda". I've said it many times in my reviews, it's not all about the food, it's also about customer service. I felt I was a burden on this employee because she had to do her job. Some people don't realize how far a simple smile can go or a simple how are you today or just a plain thank you. Like I said, I really love this concept so I've only deducted one star for lack of service.

This place is really unique. I'll admit, I'm kind of boring when it comes to pizza, and they've got that covered. But the more adventurous type will also find lots to try here. Shrimp, prosciutto, hummus, mahi mahi, truffle oil. The list goes on. Choosing your toppings take awhile, but the cooking process is really quick. The pizza goes through an oven like they have at Quizno's. The staff is friendly and accomodating. They're a good fir for Artegon Marketplace.

I really like the concept it's a subway style pizza place. I really like their toppings and I also like how fast they pump out the pizza. Besides all the normal pizza toppings, they also have things like Shrimp, Capers, and Egg. There are also 'finishers' that they can put on after they cook your pie like arugula and infused oils (truffle?) to round out the flavor to your personal pizza. The cheese is really good and the ingredients are very fresh. But I have to say I was not a huge fan of the crust (it's not crispy). This place is inside Artegon where there are a lot of other shops. In all, I recommend if you are in the area and want pizza come here.

We ordered 2 signature pizzas, the Mexicali and Hawaiian. Nice combo of flavors. Service was a bit slow, though worth the wait.

So so good! Wasn't sure what to expect when I walked up with my boyfriend but we quickly decided on the carnivore pizza, with spicy sauce. It was awesome! We shared it, 4 slices each, plenty for a quick bite. My one gripe was customer service, a little lacking. I'd definitely eat here again.

So many unique types of pizza to choose from at Pizza At Artegon, located inside Artegon Marketplace (formerly Festival Bay Mall). My personal favorite is the Aloha Onie made with White Alfredo Ricotta Sauce, @Blend, Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork, Prosciutto Ham, Pineapple, Green Peppers, Red Onion, Jalapeños #Yelp100 #Elite #SmallBizOrlando #Challenge

Delicious and surprisingly filling. I ordered whole wheat crust. The staff weee so welcoming and friendly. I also purchased a chocolate chip cookie which i saved for two days and it was excellent. I will return.

Excellent pizza and service! Friendly, clean...who knew in a mall :) I had Mediterranean pizza, delicious. Big portion, great crust. Many to try that are specialty ones or build your preference.

On the way in to Bass Pro Shop we wanted something quick to eat and found this great place. They serve individual pizzas created to order right in front of you. We each were able to get exactly what we like. They even have gluten free crust if you'd like. These were delicious pizzas with generous amounts of fresh toppings. We will definitely be back!

In Bass Pro and was feeling hungry. Excited into the Artegon and saw this little pizza place. Its pretty neat. The dough is pre individually made (not cooked) on small baking sheet. You tell them the toppings you want and then the put the pizza on a conveyer. And whamo...you have a tasty pizza. Now being some what germaphobic I was upset that the same lady who rang up a customer previous to getting my pizza off the conveyor did not change her gloves. And although she tried using tools to pickup the pizza and put in the box, she had difficulty. And started to grab pizza paper that lay under the pizza with her hands having those same gloves. I got upset knowing she'd be touching my pizza and told her she needed to change her gloves and that the same person ringing customers should not be serving the customers. The pizza was tasty, but having that touch on my mind I could not finish it all.
