I think this place is great. Tasty food, they deliver, and they're open (and deliver) super late, which is always nice. It's clean, the food is good, you get what you pay for here. I'd compare Pita Pit to Subway if Subway actually tasted good and was enjoyable to eat. But it's not, so I won't. It's not the highest of quality food, but it's fresh and it's good. My personal favorite is the chicken souvlaki, but everything I've had is tasty. Worth checking out if you're in the area and want a quick lunch, or want to smash your drunk face into some tzatziki sauce at 2am instead of hitting up Waffle House.

If you like Pita Pit, then you already know what to expect. I have been at this location over 10 times and the staff has always been friendly (especially the manager), service was quick, and they had plenty of options for toppings. You may pay a little more for a pita than a sub at Subway, but the taste and quality is so much better at Pita Pit.

Unfortunately I was expecting a similar experience to the Pita Pit in Lake Mary, this location was a completely different thing altogether. The service was okay but the sandwich was pretty bleh. There was very little chicken and the pita itself was like rubber. On the positive side the toppings are of sufficient variety and freshness. Ice tea was old tasting too I am not sure what happened here compared to the other location but based on food quality I won't be back.

Online order was 20 minutes late - called the store and was put on hold for 12 minutes. Called on another line and was told he knew I was holding but he was super busy and alone. He asked if mine was an online order, and then said the driver left 15 minutes ago, and should be there shortly. Several more minutes later, driver arrives, apologizes for my wait and saying the traffic was bad, and I have my uninspired and soggy gyro in hand.

The cashier and cook were friendly, fast and efficient! The wrap hit the spot. I definitely want to return and try the breakfast wraps served all day. I like the fact they are open until 3 am, too.

No. Just, no. No frills. No seasoning. No taste. No moisture to the chicken. No authenticity here. No return.

I will try Pita Pit every once and a while and each time I find myself disappointed. The amount of meat you get in your very flavorless pita is quite small and is surprisingly flavorless no matter what sandwich you order. Service is pretty poor and I *really* don't like the dirty and ratty looking t-shirts they wear - doesn't make me feel comfortable that everything is clean. If you don't have any other options you might as well give it a try...but like me, you will probably find yourself questioning why you did.

I just moved into town and have not tracked down a Hovans yet and was craving some falafel and hummus. I stumbled upon a pita pit driving around and decided to give it a shot. All and all I can say that it was pretty good, but threw me off a bit when I got to the veggie side. I felt like I had taken my falafel goodness and tried to turn it into a subway sandwich. I think next time I will just stick to the basics with my tahini sauce and hummus.

my daughter introduced me to pita pit during a college move in weekend. good sandwiches, stand in line. eating in was difficult because of lack of seating. my daughter likes it and they deliver late at night. everything seems fresh and wraps were very large. about $6. a piece. close to the campus @ucf

Love this place, It has great tasty food, healthy choices, and the staff that works here is super friendly. What I love even more is how late they are open cause I work late at night most of the week. I totally recommend this spot for fast late night food with a great staff.

It's Pita time. I love Mediterranean food a lot (Esp Greek, Turkish and Lebanese). If you are craving for some Mediterranean food at reasonable price Pita Pit is the go. Coming to the food items : Chicken Sovlaki is the one that i like the most over here. I usually go with wheat pita and some veggies. Chicken is well cooked and tasty too. But the quantity (Meat Quantity) is little low for the price they are charging. Even Falafel and Hawaiian Hummus Pita is good over here. It depends upon the veggies that are trying on. I usually add Mushrooms with Jalapeno which gives you a spicy sour flavor ;) I am giving 4 out 5 because of the less meat quantity and waitress didn't respond properly. I would say that the most important thing in a restaurant or food joint is that the cashier or waitress has to respond the properly which makes the customers a lot more comfortable :D. Overall you can try once .. you may like it ;) Note: You will get a free Pita when you get a $20 gift card.

Their pitas are alright, and have a decent variety, and they're open late which gives them a niche to fill. I have to knock off a star since at one point I had a pita that was absolutely awful, I think something was wrong with the meat. Ended up throwing it away.

Great food, open late, and you can pile on veggies so that late night meal doesn't kill you. Of course a greasy burger might be more appetizing for the average drunk, but this is a great alternative. Get the Local :)

The food here is always good. It tends to get a bit crowded during lunch, so come early if you want to sit. The Chicken Fajita pita is great.

They have a great veggie option, the spicy black bean with chipotle mayo with lettuce & tomato. Its sooo yummy. This particular location is pretty decent. They are pretty quick and it can get busy but never overly crowded.

You cant go wrong with Pita from Pita Pit. True definition of a good luncheon with their selections and really quick service. Sure could be crowded a bit but its all in timing. Love this place!

Being a vegetarian, finding good food is hard. There are so many options here and the service is always quick. It's inexpensive and they also deliver pretty late. It's not a nice restaurant, kind of feels like ordering at a Subway but is awesome!

The place that I was headed to at the opposite end of the strip mall was closed. So Pita Pit got lucky...well I got lucky too. This place is open everyday till at least 3am! I had the local which was recommended by one of the employees. It had a mix of gyro and chicken souvlaki. The gyro meat was average but the souvlaki was well seasoned. There are numerous fresh vegetables and sauces to add to your sandwich. There are many items on the menu that are pretty healthy which is a plus. The place was clean and the restrooms were clean. I would definitely be back and i am looking forward to them opening up a location in Jacksonville.

Pita Pit has me hooked for one main reason: THE HAWAIIAN. This glorious creation includes... black forest ham, chicken breast, pineapples and melted Swiss cheese topped with teriyaki sauce and wrapped in a pita. You can add all the veggies you want, but honestly it tastes great with just those ingredients. It is delicious! Other than that, most of their pitas are pretty average. You choose a meat (or falafel or hummus) and then pile on the veggies. It's definitely a healthy choice if you don't pile on dressings and such. The one thing that irritates me about this place is their completely snotty and RUDE staff. EVERY TIME I have been there the cashier and people making the pitas are soooo rude. One time, they gave me the wrong pita and I went back up to the counter to ask them to fix it and you would've thought that I asked the girl to build me a pita out of GOLD from the look that she gave me. Definitely lacking in the customer service department. Pita Pit is open 'til 3am every night, so it's a great place to get a cheap and satisfying meal. They even deliver!

I came here visiting a cousin at UCF. We came in late on a Wednesday night between 1 - 2am. After reading all the previous reviews, I had to try the Hawaiian, or the Local (it's called both on the menu). The pita was delicious and exactly how everyone describes it here, I really don't need to reiterate. The teriyaki sauce was the perfect sauce to have on there. If I had gone to UCF, I would definitely have come here often. If I'm ever in the UCF area again, I have to come back. Pros: Great tasting, affordable pita sandwiches for a college sized wallet. Open reallllllly late. Cons: Gets ridiculously crowded during the late hours (I wasn't there during the day so I have no idea how it is then)

I tried the Hawaiian wrap once and loved it , u can make your own creation by adding more things to the wrap and your choice of veggies such as lettuce , tomatoes and onions. The Hawaiian it self came with chicken and pineapple and cheese. Most of the people that come here are UCF students and this place attracts allot of people and is open very late.
