Great place if you are on a diet. The portions are tiny. In fact they serve the Chicken Panang in a small bowl so they couldn't give you a decent portion if they wanted to. Sadly, you have to ask for more rice just to fill yourself up. If you are on a diet you may like it because the food is pretty good. I shall not return.

The food here is great, but the more I come here for the great food the smaller the portions get. Go for lunch. You get a free salad with every meal.

This place isn't bad at all - honestly, think of this as more of a 3.5 than a 3-star review. Napasorn is very convenient to the downtown area, it has a pretty good menu, the servers are nice, and the speed is relatively quick, all things considered. My fiancee had an utterly fantastic duck dish, which I think she would leave me for if it was remotely feasible. Thing is, I've been to Napasorn maybe half a dozen times now, and every single time, I leave a bit hungry. The dishes are never disappointing, taste-wise, but there's just not enough there - at least for the price. When you're spending over $10 a plate, you'd expect there to be a full meal there, right? Maybe it's just the things I'm ordering, but compare their Pad Thai to the one you get (for less money) at the Thai Cafe up on Magnolia, and you'll see how it pales in comparison. Thai Cafe loads you up like noodles are going out of style. Napasorn just feels... stingy. Again, it's not a bad restaurant, and you'll probably have a fine time, but just remember that it's costly, and you might not be completely full at the end.

Alright alright, it's about time I stop procrastinating and get this over with. I come to this place way too often to not review. First, I'd like to say that while I have often dreamt of eating home cooked phrik nam pla when riding on the back of an elephant during a safari excursion as servants fan me with banana leaves, I've yet to become a connoisseur of Thai cuisine. However, I have shoveled a crap ton of mediocre pad thai into my face while speed walking through the concrete jungle of NYC which may qualify me to pass some judgement on this little gem of Orlando. In the 3 months I've spent in Orlando, I must've eaten here at least 20 times. I would say that about half the time I'm here I get the green curry with duck. It is absolutely loaded with fresh vegetables like snow peas, bamboo shoots, bell peppers and string beans. The duck is not too game-y and seems like a well cooked, more solid version of dark meat chicken. The duck is prepared by getting dipped in a lightly breaded batter and fried, so the crispy skin wrapping the juicy meat contrasts very well against the green curry soaked rice. I drool just thinking about it. In fact, I'm definitely getting it again for lunch today. Just a warning: medium spiciness will make most people sweat, while Thai spiciness may induce the lake-of-fire-effect in your rectum. Staff is friendly, although not always the fastest. The old lady there always gives me an extra half helping of rice. Not sure if she likes me or is being racist by giving the Asian more rice... Hmm... definitely not complaining. Although I did think she was hitting on me by serving me the rice in the shape of a heart, but much to my dismay I found they do that for everyone :( Update: Got it again for lunch. Lady gave me 3 times the amount of rice most people receive. MA'AM IF YOU'RE READING THIS PLEASE STOP PLAYING WITH MY HEART Unfortunately, the standard pad thai here is a bit underwhelming. It's not bad, it's just the one time I had it, maybe there was a bit too much vinegar that covered any other flavors or spices that may have been present. The Thai iced tea is good but very much on the sweet side. The Thai iced coffee is worth getting, although I think it's just the freeze dried stuff and evaporated milk. Ah! Last thing! They can steam the fish for you! Their menu says their fishes are all fried, but if you request, they can steam instead of fry! Too long; didn't read? Summary: Skip on the pad thai. Get the green curry with duck, medium, if you can take a bit of spiciness.

Pretty good thai option in Downtown Orlando. The food is decent, and there are a lot of options. I traditionally don't get any thing super spicy - sorry I can't help with that sort of review. But I do normally order the chicken cashew nut and it's always great! I did try their pot-stickers as an appetizer and I didn't like them. They weren't the dumpling outline that I was used it. They were almost deep fried and it just wasn't that tasty. Service here is spotty. We had an amazing waitress who was on the ball. But she seemed to be the only one in the restaurant paying attention. Everyone else seemed to be running around like crazy trying to juggle people, bills, food and take out orders during the lunch rush. Perhaps someone was out sick or perhaps they need to hire just one more person. Either way, it's a decent place downtown. Not amazing, not terrible. But if you like thai food, I'm sure it will be enjoyable.

Solid Thai restaurant - really between 3 and 4 stars for me. Not the best Thai I've ever had, but I wouldn't hesitate to go here again. Curries are spot on, but tend toward the spicy side so watch out. Ambiance is probably biggest downside. Seems like you're sitting inside an old house, but compared to other Asian places in the area, certainly not the worst i've seen-- unless of course you get sat in the back corner of the top floor.

We went here for lunch during a tech training class. The staff was very accommodating of our large party and got us seated right away. We ordered the Spring rolls which are very tasty. The Ginger dressing on the salad was refreshing. The Pad Thai was prepared very well. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean and the food was out quickly so we were able to have a fun meal in less than an hour.

My co-workers and I stopped in here for lunch and the service was slower than watching a sloth trying to cross the street. It was unreal. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately, which was a bonus for our group of 7. Our server came up to us and quickly took our order and salads followed soon after. Given the speediness of everything, one would expect the lunch meals to come out with similar speed; however, that was not the case. 45 minutes after ordering, our food was still not out of the kitchen and a group had to pay and get their order to go. The to-go orders were not ready for a significant time and those co-workers who returned to the office received a sub par lunch. I wouldn't recommend visiting Napasorn for large groups or during your lunch hour, it just isn't practical. If you have more than an hour to spend, I'm sure it's fine, but for us normal working folk, it did not work out.

Ate lunch here today. Good spot with a nice decor - open and bright. The hostess was very friendly as she sat us. The waiter was attentive but we had a hard time understanding his accent - our problem, not his. I had the seaweed salad and chicken & pork Pad Thai, thai hot. Wow - it is not often a restaurant will actually deliver a dish Thai hot - but they did. It was so spicy my nose was running! Delicious. The seaweed salad was served with a little lime and very fresh. Good lunch, good service - I would go back again! J

We had a day off in Orlando and I was in the mood for some Thai food. I did a Yelp search and found this place. It was very close to our hotel and made for a rather easy walk (past a lot of hobos but, whatever). I was met at the door and sat rather quickly. A waitress came over and took my beverage order. Real iced tea. I ordered chicken panang without the bell peppers. She offered to add another vegetable which was nice. It came with snow peas (huge bonus, I love them), string beans, and the added zucchini. The best part was that they didn't charge for rice. Everything came out piping hot and looked great. The chicken and vegetables were super fresh and tasty. Nothing was overcooked. It was exactly what I was looking for. I ate most of it and had a small serving left to take back to the room with me. I would return if I was here in the future.

I LOVE THAI FOOD! Being a former Orlando native, I've had the opportunity to try a few local Thai restaurants. This was my second trip to Napasorn (I had been previously when I worked in Downtown Orlando a few years ago). My co-workers and I agree that the food was delicious. I got the the Drunken Noodles with chicken and beef. I like my Thai food a little spicy but not over the top. Napasorn does a good job on allowing the eater to customize their Thai food with a 1-5 spicy meter that is accurate. My food was the perfect amount of spice! My co-worker got the Panang Fish (which she always gets there) and as usual it was tasty. She stated that this is the only Thai restaurant that does the fish "the right way". So if you like Curry and fish this might be a good choice for you! We also tried the Combination Starter which consisted of: crispy spring rolls, cheese rolls, chicken sate, and crab cake. I will warn you that it is drowning in peanut sauce which I'm not a huge fan of. But it was still delish. My least favorite was the crab cake. With the peanut sauce it was just off-putting. The chicken sate was tender and very tasteful. I would recommend this spot for a weekday lunch. The serve was fast and attentive.

Wonderful flavors... excellent customer service! Fantastic food and customer service every time we stop in to our neighborhood restaurant...right in the heart of downtown. Reasonably priced, casual, and flavorful...worth a visit!

I love this place and have for 3 years. Their wait staff is very friendly and they have a great menu. There service is nice and quick if your in a rush due to your lunch hour. I always get the Pad Se Ew (noodle dish with a drown sauce), which is one of their most popular dishes. It's always fresh, and always a generous portion. I've even ordered lunch to go, and it's always great. Highly recommended. If there's a wait its minimal and the fried cheese rolls are addictive! Also recommend their Basil Beef which is spicy but you can ask for mild.

Perhaps its the convenient location (in the building I live in) but I love this place. On the outside its fairly non-descript while the inside is deceptively nice. I also love the wait staff. They are all ESL (English as a Second Language) but easy to understand and VERY friendly. They will also begin to recognize you fairly quickly if you go regularly. The food is fantastic, I have not had anything here that was bad nor have I heard a bad thing from anyone I've taken. In fact when people come to visit I often hear requests to go back. BONUS: They will make your food actually 'Thai hot' if you ask.

Napasorn was a regular dinner pick-up for me and my husband when we worked near downtown. I didn't expect much from the place given its location, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service is quick and the prices are reasonable. My go-to dish is the Hot Pad Thai because it's actually hot. Definitely one of my favorite Thai places in Orlando.

Came here a few weeks ago and had the spring rolls as a app the peanut sauce was exceptional, also had the pad Thai which was a good portion for lunch my friend had the green curry which was different but he ate the entire plate! Service was friendly and quick they also serve 4 different types of sauce on the side which I enjoyed ranging fom mild to very hot. Will be returning soon,

I love this place. The Pad Thai is the best I've had in Orlando. They actually know how to make Thai Hot (edible lava!). There are reviews that complain about slow service but you shouldn't go in there in a rush. It is a local, family owned restaurant and the owners are really sweet and like to talk to their guests. This isn't something to complain about but actually celebrate! The fried spring cheese rolls are amazing and a great way to start off the meal. Make sure you end with some homemade coconut ice cream. Enjoy!

On a given night, walking around aimlessly, a bit overwhelmed by the Church street scene, we decided to drift off a few blocks. Thanks to our smart phone applications we found out about Napasorn and being Thai food enthusiasts we gladly walked in to check out the place. Surprisingly mellow for all the madness just a few blocks away on a Friday night, we were one of just 4 other tables being served. The service was good, attentive and enthusiastic to share their knowledge and culture and of course their food. We found the food to be good in an average kind of way, I had the red curry with chicken and requested it to be hot - not Thai hot - just hot - and they got it just right, spicy enough to pack a punch but still flavorful and enjoyable. Dessert was a seasonal Mango with sticky rice, quite unique and definitely worth the try. Our night went to be quite a memorable evening and Napasorn had a hand in this. It was good.

Definitely some of the best Thai food we have ever had - and we eat Thai food a lot!! The pad Thai was phenomenal and the basil fried rice was super flavorful! If we lived in Orlando we would go back here again and again! Must try!

late night out with my honey and searching for a place to eat, literally ran into this place, it's very low key. my gosh the food was absolutely to die for!! the glass noodles i ordered were fantastic, he ordered a pad thai dish, we cleared our plates and would definitely be back the next time we're in Orlando!! it was awesome... oh and the servers were so friendly and nice, the hostess was so nice suggesting different dishes.... seriously it was right before closing and as a former waitress i know how annoying that is but we were starving and trying to be quick... awesome awesome awesome!! go there!

i have heard great things about this place so I gave it a shot. I ordered yellow curry chicken as a pick up order and on the phone she asked if I wanted it spicy. I love love love spicy foods, so I agreed. and WOW. this stuff was FIRE. like, made me sweat, literally. and it was amazing. The portion was perfect for the price; more than enough, so leftovers will be waiting for me later when my stomach calms down. ha! With such a great first experience with take-out, I cant wait to dine-in. The inside has so much potential. 2 levels of seating, and I have heard they have live music on occasion... (I think I noticed a piano upstairs?)

Lemongrass=Yum I went here for dinner the other night after not having been for a while. The food was still as delicious as ever. I had two lemongrass dishes. A traditional soup (which consisted of shrimp, tomatoes, mushrooms, lime zest, and lemongrass in hot and sour broth) to start and Lemongrass Chicken as my main dish. The flavors were very distinct and delicious. I ordered my dishes medium-spicy and they were seasoned to perfection. I liked how you got a choice of spiciness as well as a brown rice option. I would choose Napasorn and Thai House as my Thai food favs in Orlando.

A fantastic Thai place. The service here is outstanding. The pad se-ew is the perfect balance of sweet, savory and spicy. The combo appetizer plate was a great way to sample many of the appetizers. The tom khai gai was a lovely blend of flavors. My favorite Thai restaurant when visiting Orlando.

Spicy duck salad is quite delectable. The masamman curry has a wonderful flavor. The Bangkok noodles over lettuce is really tasty. You can request the level of heat. All have a kick but you can still taste the flavor of the food.

I love Napasorn for what it could be rather than what it actually is. The location? Fantastic. This is the most centrally located full-service Thai restaurant in the Downtown Business District. I won't go into parking, because as Jenn V said, it's downtown ... if you're planning on driving here, you know what you're getting into. The space? Lots of potential here. It's kind of a similar setup to the bar next door, with two levels of dining (although I question how often the second 'half-floor' actually gets used). Pleasant, if not overly memorable decor, but at least it's not garish. The service? Friendly, attentive and quick (and this has been the case for years *ahem* SEA Thai). Where Napasorn stumbles is the food itself. It's good, and I guess fairly authentic, but not overly flavorful. My party ordered the pad thai, which was average, and the basil chicken (for me, a decent temperature check of how good a Thai restaurant is). The basil chicken had a great variety of vegetables, but the peppers seemed to be added at the last minute and not sauteed with the rest of them. I like that brown rice is offered as an alternative to white rice. Portions were average (and I mean that in a good way). We went here most recently on a Thursday night during a cold snap, so the joint was deserted. I don't know if that translates to other nights of the week, but if so, you won't have to worry about a wait.

My girlfriend and I went here on a Saturday night while visiting Orlando on vacation. This is everything you would expect in a Thai restaurant with an attentive staff and pleasant atmosphere. We had Edamanme for an appetizer, which was steamed just the right length of time and pleasingly salty. I had the green curry (chicken - medium) and she had the pad thai (chicken - mild+). The curry was very good - tender chicken and many vegetables with nice and sticky rice. The green curry sauce flavor was decent. My girlfriend enjoyed the pad thai as well. It was slightly on the sweet side, but everything in it was good. The wait staff was friendly and not obtrusive, and very good at keeping our water glasses full. The appetizer took a little while to come out, but overall the pacing was good. 4 stars, would definitely visit again.

Napasorn is one of my favorite Thai restaurants to eat at in Orlando. It is on a side street crammed downtown, which does not offer much for parking, but you can usually find a meter nearby (which is free after 6pm!). Their crispy spring rolls are a great way to start, and the calamari is to die for. Napasorn can get crowded for lunch and on the weekends, but during the week it is pretty dead (the last time I was there was a Wednesday, and there was only one other couple in the place). I usually go with the chicken Pad Thai (always a favorite of mine), which is a big helping and plenty filling. Napasorn also offers beer and wine, and I usually have a drink or two without it being too pricey. If you are a fan of Thai, or FOOD for that matter, check out Napasorn.

Yelp suggestion again does not disappoint. Tried this place for a quick lunch while working in downtown Orlando. Food was excellent very nice quality although I was boring ordering Pad Thai and summer Despite my boring choices both items were of high quality and were as tasty as I have ever had. Food came quickly and I had plenty of time to make it back to work. Next time I will be more adventurous as the neighboring tables entrées looked good.

Delicious authentic Thai cuisine, now also serves delicious sushi! The sushi chef was originally from Wazzabi in Winter Park! I am so happy to be able to have good flavorful pad thai, and also the freshest sashimi in town. Quality food that won't break your wallet. Also super romantic place!

Napasorn is a great little Thai restaurant and Sake barlocated on Pine St. in downtown Orlando. The interior of the restaurant is quaint and casual. The service was average both times that i've visited Napasorn. The food on the other hand is very good. I've had the Red Curry with Chicken, Tom yung goong soup, and the Panang Curry. All were really tasty and better than most thai restaurants that i've visited. The portions were large and sure to satisfy anyone's hunger. On top of the tasty food, they have an amazing Sake collection, with over 33 flavors served. I will definitely be going back for more.

I am SO glad we stumbled upon this place. We just moved to the area and have found ourselves going to downtown Orlando on occasion for a night out. We generally just park and walk around, then look for a place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place. It's true, parking sucks. But it's downtown, so we all know this. Just pony up the money for the structure or loop around a few times to find an empty meter. Napasorn has a quaint and inviting environment. They had fresh flowers and lit candles on each table. Our server was very sweet and attentive-- didn't hover but always bussed our table immediately, etc. We started with crispy cheese rolls, and they were delicious. I got the cashew chicken, and it was fabulous-- exactly what I was hoping for. My boyfriend got the broccoli chicken, and he liked it. My rice came in the shape of Mickey Mouse, and his was a star-- it was a cute touch. Only downfall was that the portion of his meal was a little on the small side and we would definitely order our meal 'hot' next time. We both ordered them 'medium' and we felt that they weren't hot enough for us. I guess we played it safe not knowing the restaurant. I can't wait to go back. I was starting to lose hope in finding a favorite downtown. We walked past several empty restaurants (the only one I remember is Black Olive, but there were 2 or 3 more) where the waitstaff were standing outside smoking in groups. Never a good sign for 7pm on a friday. So I am glad we stumbled on Napasorn. We will definitely be making this a regular place for evenings out.

I love love love Thai food...and this place did nothing for me. I ordered the Drunken Noodle/Pad Kee Mow and it was bland, the noodles were dark. I asked for it Thai Hot, there was zero heat. I tried some of the sushi, it was fishy tasting. We had a party of 14 and they only had one server on our table which was frustrating. Overall, not the best experience.

Food was actually delicious! Definitely not overwhelmed with sweet and sour sauce like some places that I've been to. The waiter was also friendly. Overall it was a tasty experience. However it lacked the traditional pickled jalapeño and fish sauce with thai chilling peppers. This wouldn't deter me from coming here again if I was around town.

2 Rolls and saki for 8 bucks! Couldn't get any better than this. The restaurant is located downtown and gives off an upscale over priced vibe but surprisingly its not. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great! It's a good spot if anyone wants to host a dinner party.

Food: Delicious, logical portions and ultra affordable! Management: Stellar! Cleanliness: Par. Decor: Enh, plain. Though I don't eat inside the restaurant as much anymore, my team and I order takeout weekly. Napasorn is consistently delicious.

The first time I came here I went with a group of people who knew the owner. I didn't know her personally. It's a beautiful little place, I think it's two stories but the parking is crappy. There's space in the back but you're not allowed to park there. The food was delicious but I think most of it was off the menu because she was trying real hard to please the people I was with so service and food was great. Next time I went back a year later and everything was crap. The food was overpriced and not that great. It was a slow night, not many people were there and yet our server forgot our appetizers and the food took way too long and he didn't seem to know what he was doing. And we were sitting next to a table that nobody cleaned the entire time we were there. Odd. I wouldn't come back here. It's tucked away downtown, the parking is hard sometimes, and honestly I can get better Thai food elsewhere.

I have extremely high standards for Thai food considering I lived in Thailand for a short stint, still the food here is decent. I have a soft spot for this restaurant as I have had some memorable evenings here. They have a decent menu, nice decor, and decent service. The thing that works most to its advantage is that its downtown.

We headed to downtown Orlando one evening to poke around and find a spot for dinner. To our dismay most of what was open on a Friday night were bars or pizza joints! We saw a steak house, not our style and then we wandered into Napasorn. The staff was very friendly and in a few minutes we both had a drink in front of us as we studied the menu. We are very savvy about Thai food and know what we're looking for. We deceided to share the shrimp satay and it was great. Cooked perfectly yet with a slightly smokey edge, very yum. Next came our entrees. I ordered duck Choo Chee. It was a strange mix of chicken fried duck (that was a first) and a small sample of vegetables. Frankly I prefer the classic stewed duck with more veg but the sauce was very nice. My husband had the green curry with shrimp. Again no scrimping on the shrimp and a great flavor but not enough vegies. Finally we shared the coconut ice cream with the sweet sticky rice. I mean come on....we had to order that! WOW was it fabulous. I'm not even sure how to describe it but give it a try.

I thought the food was decent, actually. It may have changed since John K.'s bad experience, I'm not sure. I just know that my Red Curry with chicken was tasty. That being said, Downtown Orlando is an interesting place. I went on a Saturday night and the place was dead. Downtown was kind of dead, in general, which isn't too thrilling itself, but at Napasorn, my friend and I were only the third set of guests in the entire restaurant. I guess it really just was a slow night for all of downtown, so it probably shouldn't be seen as a problem with Napasorn. I suppose that during the week when people are working downtown it must get busier. Overall, I was pleased since the waiters were nice and the food was good. It just felt a bit awkward for it to be so empty.

Overall, a good Thai restaurant in Downtown Orlando. Service is always friendly. Food is tasty. The main bad thing: parking. Don't park in the side lot because they WILL tow your car.

I eat a lot of Thai Food. I wish that there was a way to report this as a NO STAR RATING! This Restaurant is in a great location and very accessible to anyone downtown. The owners really need to play off their location. I went there on a Friday evening upon arriving was greeted by a small wall that prevented the staff from even seeing that I and my friends were awaiting to be seated. After about 5 minutes of not being acknowledged we had to step from behind the wall so that one of the staff members could see that we were waiting to be seated. We still were not acknowledged. Finally after being seated and with only 3 other tables seated in the entire restaurant we were greeted by our server after being seated for more than 5 minutes. Our drink order was taken and again another 5 minutes before the drinks arrived. At this point we were all ready to order but it appeared that our server was playing host, cashier, bartender, runner and busser and was not able to take our order at that moment. More customers arrived and the restaurant filled up rather fast. Our server managed to take the orders of several other tables before returning to our table as we were about to get up and leave. Finally our order was placed. The kitchen staff now being over burdened with a full house took nearly 25 minutes for our soup and apps to come out. The soup was nothing special as I have had much better at Thai House and Sea Thai also near the downtown Colonial area. Our dinners arrived and the level of food quality was not consistant. My other half and I both ordered Thai Basil Thai Hot which is extremely hot or should be. One dish was hotter than the other and was darker in color from that additional pepper. The portions were small. Our guest had to send their dish back as the cook forgot to put the meat in the dish. We were so over the poor service that we did not want to even consider anything else after dinner other than getting out of there. We motioned for our server to come over so we could get the check, she advised she would be right back. 10 minutes went by and she was still multitasking which the owners of this place should be ashamed of. Another server saw that we were just sitting there and he cleared our table. We advised that we had asked for our check and still had not received it. He agreed to get it from our server. We watched as he advised her. Another 10 minutes went by and still no check, we again had to motion to our server. Finally after 1/2 hour from the time of first requesting our check we were presented with our check. If it weren't for the fact that we did not want to be arrested we would have got up and left. There should be no reason for any restaurant to take so long to bring a customer a check. The owners of this place are losing money by not being efficient and turning tables. Our total time spent in the restaurant was over 2 1/2 hours. In that amount of time had there been a proper host, bartender, cashier, bus person and food runner this restaurant could have turned their tables 2 or 3 times and maybe made some money. I don't think that I have ever had such worse service and food presentation and strongly advise customers if you are on a time crunch this is not the place for you. I also judge a restaurant by the cleanliness of their restrooms. I have come across a few restaurants that needed cleaning but this place was disgusting. If they cannot keep a bathroom clean I can imagine what condition the kitchen is in. Had I seen the Bathroom prior to eating I would not have stayed to eat. The Health Dept really needs to look into this restaurant. Also as an FYI all restaurants are required to have their Health Dept Inspection report posted and or able to be viewed, this was not the case here. What are they hiding? Sincerely Submitted Someone Who Will Not Dine With This Establishment Again!

This is one of the gems in downtown that wholly lacks pretention, provides a relaxing atmosphere, is staffed by particularly nice people, and serves delicious foods for reasonable prices. I generally order the "ginger meat combo", which is a perfect portion size for an entree. Their assortment of sauces do cover the range of spices, and they provide a sampler for you to choose from at the table. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants, but the view from inside reveals none of those things, in fact from a window seating you might forget you were in Orlando at all. Very fortunate slice of real estate. The colors of the interior are warm, the music is very much in the background, but just enough to be there. This is a genuinely pleasing dining experience, and works great as a carryout for meals at work too.

Good location, wifi for working lunches (and iPhones), better than average Pad Thai and sushi.

I adore Thai food, so this nicer Thai joint a short walk from my place was an exciting discovery for me last year. Its a pretty restaurant on the corner of Pine and I have to say its tied for first as my favorite Thai restaurant in Orlando. And this is saying a lot considering how I feel about my Thai. Upon walking inside you'll find a bar along the left wall, many tables, and even a second floor balcony for surplus seating. I had the pleasure of sitting in the balcony area once last season and it was a fun view to enjoy while dining. The decor is nicer than you'll find in most Thai places probably due to its prime downtown real estate. The thing that makes me really crave Napasorn are the salads that come with your meal. I haven't found another Thai place that included a salad with your meal and Napasorn has a really tasty peanut dressing topping it. The spring rolls are a great appetizer choice, though every appetizer I've tried I'd get again. As for the main dish I always go with my old standby Cashew Chicken Thai hot. Thai hot is hotter than just hot and is the hottest choice of seasoning for Thai dishes. I have never been disappointed. Napasorn sometimes gets crowded for lunch during the work week, its a popular spot for business types. If you like Thai or even if you don't now is your time to jump on in and try some of the best you'll find in Orlando at Napasorn

Napasorn is my go to Thai place and not just because I can walk there in my pajamas :) I've sampled a lot of their menu and here are my thoughts- -Apps: the calamari and crispy spring rolls are my fav, the sweet thai chili sauce that comes with both of these is delish). The fish cakes were too mushy for me. The peanut sauce they make is delicious and I really like it on the soft roll and the side salad. -Dinner: the yellow curry and panang curry are super yummy but beware, they do a TRUE THAI HOT. My most recent favorite is the pineapple fried rice but I subbed for chicken instead of mixed meat. I am actually not a fan of their pad thai, just didn't have enough flavor for me. They also make a tempura fried chicken that may be my new guilty pleasure. It's like Asian fair food. And of course, thai donuts for dessert!!! I mostly do to-go which is always on point and ready in 15 minutes. The decor inside is very eclectic. At a glance it seems fancy and nice with white table cloths but when you look closer you notice the wooden tulips for decorations that tend to fall over and come apart, the giant frozen blowfish hanging from the ceiling and the amazing 80s-90s music that I can only describe as the mixed CD you lost in your high school best friend's honda civic.

It's not my favorite Thai place in Orlando but it's in the top 5 for sure. I started with the veggie spring rolls with plum sauce instead of the sweet sauce they normally come with. The plum sauce is great but the spring rolls were bland. Not the worst I've had but nothing special at all. However, their curries are on point. I had the yellow curry with tofu. I do wish they fried or grilled their tofu longer so it was a bit crunchier but it was still great. Enough for a full meal worth of leftovers. My husband got the Waterfall Beef Salad and died of happiness, so great for omnivores! Overall, service can be slow when they are busy and some of their food could use some flavor but their main dishes are killer. Will be returning!

Average Thai Food. Liked the fresh summer rolls and peanut sauce. Was not a huge fan of the coconut soup or the Smokey Pot. May try it again if I am downtown and want Thai.

The service here is good and prompt, but being a thai lover, the food didn't taste like thai at all. I got a thai basil dish and it was a strange brown curry sauce and watery. It tasted like garlic. Since it's out of my way I wouldn't even want to try any other dishes. will not be going back to this place.

Had the "Bangkok Delight" for dinner and it was awesome! It was a very big dish and I could not finish it. Be cautious if you like spicy I told them to make it extra spicy and it was extremely spicy. Overall excellent dish and I would order it again.

I guess I was decently impressed with Napasorn but not to the level some friends have raved about it nor the caliber of its reviews on Yelp. The physical space shows some wear and age, which isn't bad in itself but perhaps not what I was expecting and the staff while nice enough seemed slightly inattentive. However, that said, my friend and I were there late and they didn't have that many other tables: some people would argue that means they ought to have been all the more attentive and some would say they were tired after a long evening. Either way, I just had a bit of a feeling of "this is the place many people have said has the best Thai in Orlando?". As to the food, I found our Pad Thai and red curry to be pretty average--good enough but average for an American Thai restaurant. The menu also is exactly the expected Thai dishes you see everywhere--from the green, red, and other curries to the stir-fries to the "house specialities" which are pretty much identical to other Thai restaurants, too. I got a great Thai cookbook for Christmas and it has tons of recipes--authentic recipes--you almost never see on a menu in an American Thai place. I would very much like to see restaurants branch out more, given the real diversity of Thai cuisine. Napasorn's spice tray--a must for curries--was one of the best spice trays I've seen though, I'll give them that. Everything seemed to be overcooked, too. Perhaps I just have very high standards for Thai: I was not impressed with SeaThai, another acclaimed Orlando restaurant, either. I would probably give Napasorn another try, though.

Food is 5 stars. Real Thai food, ask for Thai spicy and it will kick your butt. The location is nice too, but more effective than stylish (paper cloth on table ect), nothing I would take my first date to. But who cares if your craving some good spicy Thai food right? Staff is very friendly and quick. A big recommendation!

An awesome Thai selection downtown! The yellow curry and pad Thai dishes were very good! Tom ka ga was delicious! A little on the pricier side for Thai food, but it is definitely worth it! If you're looking for delicious Thai that's walkable downtown.. This is it!

I like Napasorn. I have only been here twice but it's good. It's not my favorite Thai place in Orlando but it's definitely a place I'd return to. I got the yellow curry with tofu and extra veggies as well as a soft spring roll last night. Not sure what I got the first time. The portions were large and the flavor was good. It was pretty empty on a Friday at 6:45 so I'm not sure what it's like if they get busy but, as usual for Asian food places, the food came out quickly. Service was good.

Good pad Thai and ordered to go one night. I've never eaten inside but was impressed with the large to-go portion. Ordered medium spice and probably could have gone up to the next spice level. It was tasty and I'd go back, but I still think Hawker's pad Thai is better. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal though!

Honesty Hour! Ok so if anyone knows me they know I am a Thai-fanatic! I live to try new Thai places. A friend of mine told me to check out Napasorn Thai. To date I have been to Napasorn 3 times. First experience - I was on my lunch break so I figured I would order to-go. I ordered the Phad Sew Ew lunch special. I was told to come in 15 minutes. I waited 20 to be safe. Made a stop into the restaurant and ended up waiting another 5 minutes for my food to be finished as the staff looked flustered and were trying to handle their medium sized lunch crowd. The portion was smaller than I expected but it was the "lunch portion". Admittedly it was pretty good. The chicken was tender, the noodles were cooked well and the veggies were steamed well. I told a few friends about my experience and the 4 of us planned to go to Napasorn the following week. Second experience - I met up with my group around 12:15pm and we received our beverage order (all waters) relatively quickly. Our server was handling the top floor seating area which was about 5 tables. He took our order relatively quickly and brought us our ginger salads, *insert first sigh of disappointment*. Let me say I am a lover of a good Ginger salad (Urban Hibatchi has the best in Orlando) but this ginger salad was pathetic. Like most ginger salads it was made of iceberg lettuce, not my favorite quality in a ginger salad, but this one was about 4 forkfuls of white iceberg lettuce - the part of the lettuce that is found closest to the core, yea that part. The salads had barely any ginger on them and the little bit that was on them was near dry. We received our salads around 12:25pm. We, and the rest of the top floor waited for our entrees to arrive, several servers including our own ran different plates up to our floor asking the room if it was what they ordered - clearly our server didn't memorize his tables, make numbers or write anything that remotely be able to tell them apart. Around 1:10 our server came by our table to apologize to us for our wait, and then rambled on telling us how its not his fault, and its the kitchens fault and how he knows he did his job. By the time they brought us our food around 1:15pm we informed our server we were leaving and those of us who still wanted their food wanted a to-go. I gave away my food because I was totally disgusted with the entire experience. Those who got their food were given a 10% discount for their troubles. Although I was incredibly frustrated I know that the quality of their food is good so I contemplated going back another time. Third experience - The next day...Lol I still had my Thai craving that needed to be satisfied and every other Thai restaurant in my area was not worth the traffic. I called in my order to-go and waited 20 minutes before I walked over. My food was hot, cooked well and met all of my expectations. Moral of the story...Napasorn has a really great Phad Sew Ew but their dine-in service is less than desirable. I recommend ordering your food to go and enjoying it at another location...Lol maybe on a bench at Lake Eola :)

I came here for dinner with a friend last night (Thursday) at 6pm. The place was empty so it was nice having the entire restaurant to ourselves. There's the ground floor and also an upstairs which I didn't explore. Our waitress was very friendly and kept our glasses full during our stay. We both ordered the Chicken Pad Thai which came with white bean sprouts and a variety of condiments (peanuts, siracha sauce and two other sauces). They prepared our food very quickly and it tasted amazing! I can't wait to go back and try something else off their menu!

Have dined here frequently and it's the best Thai food in the downtown Orlando area. At lunchtime this place is usually packed and there is often a line at (or out) the door. There is a lot of seating so waiting too long is not usually a problem. This restaurant has some some interesting seating with an upstairs and downstairs area. Of the numerous food items I've had here, my favorite is the chicken pad thai with medium level spice. It's the spicy comfort food I crave! In the past I've also had the crispy fried spring rolls, coconut soup (thom ka gai), red and panang curry. I LOVE the panang curry with jasmine rice, it's so spicy and coconutty (is that a word?). This is my favorite winter restaurant. When you feel cold, or just under the weather, this is the place to come get some steaming hot soup, warm curry, or comforting noodles. Pretty much all the food at Napasorn feels like it can fix what ails you, it just feels healing. Ask for the spice tray to load up on extra red pepper and chopped peanuts, it's great on the pad thai! This place can get slammed at lunchtime, so you will need more than 30 minutes for a sit down lunch here. Call ahead and just pick up something to go if you're short on time. I've always had good experiences with the wait staff here, very attentive even when the restaurant is very full.

Another Gem Of A Thai Restaurant (You Picking Up On Recurring Theme Yet? Yes I Love Thai Food!) This Time In The Heart of Downtown Orlando! Has Been Longer Than Planned Since My Last Time Dining Here But Was Quickly Reminded By the Aroma, Crowd & Meals What A Quality Place This Truly Is. Thoroughly Enjoyed The Experience & Won't Wait So Long Between Visits This Time :) Kapun Khrap

Went here on a Saturday night with my husband. We were seated right away but it took awhile (maybe 10 minutes) before anyone came to our table. I had a feeling service would be slow so we ordered everything (drinks, salad, entree) at that time. While we were waiting for our food, 2 other parties got up and left. There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant (at least 14 tables). I ordered chicken pad thai. It was good, not great. Nothing to write home about. My husband had the red curry with chicken (hot) and it was pretty spicy. It too was good but not amazing. Overall I wasn't impressed. Definitely need more staff. The next time I'm in the mood for Thai food, I'll probably go somewhere else. There's a few good options on colonial.

I admittedly am a newbie to Thai food. I didn't have it until about a year ago, but I am a fan. Similar to other cuisines I like Thai when I am in the mood and that occasion came up recently so I stopped by napasorn for lunch. I got the tom kai soup and Thai tea with sampling of my colleagues different curry dishes. The portions were good and the price was pretty solid for a lunch. I liked my snacky mini meal (honestly was filling enough without the other tastings of friends foods). It wasn't my favorite Thai in town, but it will get the job done. The locale is easy access/walking distance to my downtown offices and the decor is nice enough. I would go again, if in the mood and couldn't make it to Colonial for my number 1 pick.

Great little location downtown and near the Dr Philips Performing Arts Center. They have nice intimate decor but the wine list is very lacking. However all the dishes you love about Thai like Pad Thai are very good. I had the coconut curry which was awesome. The food was the best Thai I've had in Orlando.

I am shocked I haven't written a review about this place. It has been one of my go to lunch spots over the 5+ years I have worked Downtown. The place is nothing fancy and, to be honest, the decor is a bit dated. But the lunch portions are huge and very affordable. I always go with my tried and true- pad Thai with chicken, spicy. The lunch entree comes with a small complementary salad with either peanut or ginger dressing. This is more than enough food and I usually have leftovers unless my husband is dining with me. Then he finishes my food off. :) Service has been pretty consistent throughout the years which is a big part of why I keep coming back. Check this gem out Downtown when you don't want your typical pizza, burger, etc!

Great service. Drinks were constantly refilled. Wait staff as super friendly. The place was clean, quiet, and overall pretty spiffy. Food was awesome. I felt like I got a lot for the money. If you want something different than the ol touristy offerings on I-Drive, then head to downtown.

Absolutely amazing! Found out about this place on yelp and so glad I did. We were greeted promptly and sat right away. Our server could not have been nicer. Was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the wonton soup to start which was amazing. I expected the usual chinese takeout wonton and was amazed by how tasty it was. You can definitely tell everything is made fresh in house. The dumplings were so tasty. My boyfriend had the chicken sate with peanut sauce. I stole a bit and it was so yummy. As my main course I had the pad thai with chicken/pork.they have different heat levels when it comes to spicyness. I got it at medium and it was a bit spicy but. Good burn. Boyfriend had the green curry and also added bits of spicy pepper. They were so spicy but he loved them, even made him tear up. Dessert I had the fried bannana and coconut icecream, im so full!! Everything was amazing I will definitely be back and reccomending this place to everyone in downtown!!!!! :D

We arrived at Napasorn around 6:30 on a Monday night. There was only one other couple seated so I was initially worried. The staff was very warm and welcoming which set my mind at ease. It is a clean and charming restaurant, though not the fanciest (newspaper shoved underneath the table legs to keep from wabbling). I don't personally care about those types of things so I didn't mind. The server was attentive and always smiling. The staff was consistently refilling our beverages. I ordered the chicken coconut soup and vegetable pad thai. Both dishes were OUTSTANDING! My husband ordered spicy red curry with chicken and absolutely loved it too. The food and service won us over. We were so pleased with our experience! So much so that we might be going back tonight! Thank you, Napasorn!

Really tasty Thai and a great location two blocks from the library, where I am camped out this summer. The soft spring rolls (essentially summer rolls) are refreshing and flavorful. The sauce is on point. My basil beef was just the right amount of spicy (thank goodness for free refills) and again the pepper sauce was great. The beef was a little over cooked but for $8 with salad and rice, I'm not complaining. Just a quick note that it's freezing in here. If you're a wuss about AC like I am, bring a sweater!

This was, by far, the worse service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. My family and I came in at about 630. There was no one there but us (first warning). As we were ordering, the waitress continually was distracted and I had to repeat our requests multiple times (second warning). We kept waiting around for our food. All the tables around us who arrived later slowly began receiving their food while the only we received was appetizer and soup. I repeatedly asked if any of our 5/6 entrees were ready only for them to hastily mumble something about fish as they literally ran away. By 800, we had been at the restaurant for an hour and a half and still, we only received appetizer and soup. Needless to say, at that point we finally got fed up, cancelled the remaining portion of the order and left. Yelp should allow users to rate a restaurant zero stars.

The fastest non fast food I've ever been served (Actually faster than some fast food I've had) I brought a date here (it was actually her suggestion) a little while back and it turned out to be a good choice. The service was prompt and we were seated immediately. It was the perfect blend of hastiness without feeling rushed. When I say the food came out quick, I mean quick. I joked to my date about them just throwing it a microwave but in no way did it taste as such. The flavors of the curry I ordered were formative, in a good way, and nicely balanced. I wouldn't say it's the fanciest of places decor wise but good enough for a date night for sure. Can't beat the price. If I lived closer, I would be here multiple times a month.

In fairness, I have dined here before a couple times and the food wasn't bad for Thai food. However this past Sunday I wanted to get Thai food delivery and after eating at Sea Thai wanted to see if they did deliver...unfortunately they didn't. I used grub hub and ordered from Napasorn. I was very disappointed in my food, I ordered panang chicken, and it tasted nothing like panang, my fiancee ordered low mein and it tasted more like a cup of noodles with no flavor. The other things we got were ok, spring rolls, Tom Kha and satay chicken but nothing great. I will probably never get Thai food from Napasorn again, after delivery and tip, it was way over priced and bad food. So will go to Sea Thai instead, even if I have to pick it up. I don't mind spending a decent amount of money on good food...different story if it's bad food and expensive.

We were the only customers, but had a very nice late lunch. Although she wouldn't give us lunch price, the staff (presumably the owner?) was very nice as well. The food was pretty good, I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5. We would go back again.

Went here last night to grab some take out for dinner. I'm not gonna lie, I've seen this place a few times and it's been pretty dead. When I walked in to pick up my food, there were only two tables taken at prime time dinner hour so I was a bit sketched out as I was driving home as to whether or not my food was going to be good. Then again, it's Florida, and it was raining just the slightest bit, so I think everyone was hibernating again. Anyways, the service was pretty good and fast. Called in and it only took 15 mins for our food to be ready. My bf and I ordered the honey duck, pad thai, and basil fried rice. I had the honey duck and it was amazing! The duck was pretty tender and yummy. The honey sauce was not too sweet, which was good and it wasn't thick and sticky. It was more of a watered don texture, which was good. It came on a bed of veggies that were still very green and crunchy- just the way that I like it. I also tried some of the basil fried rice and it was really good too. Pretty great amount of chicken in the dish and lots of veggies. Super yummy. I'll def be back to try some more things from the menu. The pad thai looked great as well, but I just didn't try it because it had peanuts in it and I wasn't in the mood for going into anaphylactic shock that night. Anywhooos, give them a try. Great prices and great food.

Went here for the first time last night. The service was good. I thought the food would be spicy but was not too hot. I got the Chicken pad see ew and was delicious. The soup and appitizers were all good. Disappointed that they had no Mango sticky rice for desert.

Our entire office/department of 35+ eat lunch here at least monthly or more. If you cannot find something that you like, then you do NOT like Thai food. Consistently delish food. Pad Thai, cheesy rolls, Panang curry, green curry....shall I go on? I personally, cannot find fault in anything I have had - expect if the food that I order for pick-up isn't hot enough but that has happened only 1x in 4 years. We had some Thai on Edgewater 2 nights ago and although it was good, it was No Napasorn! Go and try it. You will be happy you did!

I loveeeee napasorne. I work in downtown, so I go there all the time for late lunch. The fish panang curry is perfect . The honey duck is cooked nice and tender and the sauce isn't overwhelmingly sweet. Pad Thai is delicious. Thai tea and coffee is great most of the time. Ive had it a couple of times And it was too sweet.I haven't had anything there that didn't taste bad. Service is always good. The down side is when I went during their lunch rush, my bf's meat to veggie ratio in his dish wasn't fair. I guess I understand because it was super packed.

I came here because one of my friends recommended the place.. They seemed slammed as we arrived with a half full restaurant. I ended up having to wave the waitress down to get our drinks and we decided to ordered right away in case we didn't see the waitress again.. While waiting for our food we saw the place fill up.. Then I realized how big of an ahole the owner was by only having 2 waitress schedule on a Saturday night with 14+ tables. No surprise THREE! Tables got up and walked out before receiving their food or ordering food.. Not sure what happened there. We were not in a hurry so I didn't mind the wait and since we ordered when we put our drinks so our service didn't take that long. Anyways we received the pad Thai and the red curry and they were both excellent.. The pad Thai was extremely good so I was kinda jealous because I ordered the red curry. The red curry was also really good but the rice portion was kinda small and extra portions cost extra.. I guess I'll cook rice for my leftovers then. I would give this place 5 stars if the owner would get a 3rd server for busy nights.. 2 waitress for 14+ tables is kinda an ahole move from the owner or whoever runs this place. So don't blame the waitresses I blame the owner or manager

My husband used to eat here often when he worked downtown. We tried it on a Friday night and I was surprised there were so many seats available. They have quick service, excellent food, and a cool little spot downtown. They also take "hot" seriously. I've only been here once, but I'll definitely come here again.

The hubby and I were on an adventure and stumbled upon this hidden jewel 5 minutes before closing time and Moo welcomed us, insisting we stay. Great customer service! Didn't rush us and most importantly, food was delicious AND authentic! Living in Orlando almost 9 years and we had yet to find a Thai restaurant that meet our expectations in every area. Loved it! Will definitely be coming back! Thanks Moo! And I toootally did NOT mean to add this picture =/ lol! Can't figure out how to delete it. Welp, what can I say, I'm a rookie! Lol!

I have eaten here a lot and it is a staple of downtown orlando. The food is good, but I'm never blown away by it. Especially for the price. Some of their prices are flat out unreasonable for what you get. The interior of the restaurant is very outdated as well. The service is hit or miss; sometimes is great but too often it's really bad. And never go during lunch hour downtown, you will spend an hour just waiting for the check.

I LOVE this place. Myself and a coworker have a weekly tradition of ordering Friday lunch from here. We've tried all the available curries with chicken and have never been disappointed. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and the building is well maintained. It has a good downtown location.

My experiences eating Thai food are few and far between. But I am very glad I decided to finally make my way to Napasorn after hearing so many good things about it. It's a popular lunch spot for those who work downtown but they do dinners very well also. My husband and I were pleased with the spring roll appetizer and sweet dipping sauce, the yummy ginger salad, as well as the entrees. I went with shrimp, vegetables and egg noodles (Thai Lomien I think) and he went with a spicy green curry with chicken. Both arrived hot, fresh and very tasty. Our service was wonderful and the prices were reasonable too. It also seemed a popular spot to get take-out. While we were there, 2 customers along with Doorstep Delivery came in to get dinners to go. So if you can't find a good parking spot, that could be a great plan B.

I've always wanted to try this place as most of the reviews have been very positive. This place has a very basic decor, if you're looking for something fancy this is not the place to go. If you're looking for a great meal then this is the place to go. I have the Pad Thai with chicken and beef combo. It was very good and for dessert I had fried ice cream. I was not really impressed with the ice cream but I would definetely go back and have the Pad Thai again.

Large portions. Affordable prices. Just the right amount of spice. Some Japanese & Chinese dishes as well. The service is prompt and decor is decent. I usually start off at a new thai restaurant with tofu pad thai and my girl went with the beef pepper steak. Both hit the spot & we'll definitely return.

This was the worst experience I've had in a restaurant in a long while. We made reservations for lunch for a going away party for a party of 5. They sat us right away which was great. Flash forward to 50 minutes later we still did not have our food, and by then the lunch rush was over. We complained multiple times and had to request silverware, drink refills, etc. Eventually 4 of 5 of us got our food. One had to get theirs to go because it never came out at all. We complained again and the hostess had the nerve to say "at least this will be a going away party to remember". Will never visit this place again.

Excellent food, waiter was really nice, happy hour is so cheap, 4-8pm u get a choice of 2 different rolls & flavored sake yay Although, they don't always have the deal I just mentioned their other deals are usually affordable. Be sure to try the cheesy spring rolls - never found these anywhere else in the dozens of thai restaurants I've been and they are quite delicious. Not a fan of padthai but it tasted okay. Plum wine was of course pretty good and flavored sake is a must have! This place is excellent for a date and not too far from the beautiful Lake Eola where one can ride in the swan boats.

This place was a little skeptical on whether it was good or not, because upon walking in... there were only like 5 people. Which was weird because those people (ladies) seemed like they were there for a book club meeting or something. Every Thai restaurant I go to, I always get Pad Thai.. why? Because it is not Thai food and I want to try legitimate Thai food only in Thailand. So despite my little rant, the Pad thai I got here was DELICIOUS! I got the most spiciest chicken pad Thai and woooo it took me a little while to consume it all. It's funny because Alicia Keys "Girl on Fire" came out during my stay in Florida and that was pretty much what I was singing once I got to the bathroom in the condo in Orlando except, I changed "girl" into ... you know...... :X The waitress that helped us at the time was very knowledgable. She was very informative, having great suggestions on what to get. OVERALL: If you want to experience great Thai food, come on down to this place. It's really worth it! Especially if you're seeking for a burning sensation.

A really solid Thai restaurant in the downtown area. Probably more of a 3.5 in my book, but can't give it 4. Friendly and fast service. Decor...meh, but we were in and out in about an hour. I asked for extra spicy and they delivered.

The Good: Service was outstanding. Wait staff was attentive and polite. The Bad: The interior needs a modern face lift. It's kind of awkward with lace drapes covering the windows. The Food: It's okay. Had the Pad Thai, wasn't flavorful, was kind of bland.

Best Thai food! Good & friendly service! A must try!! I always have a hard time deciding what to order, since everything is so good. Definitely recommend the drunken noodles, the pad se-ew, or the garlic & pepper fish (the filet).

Napasorn is definitely in my top 3 for best Thai restaurants in Orlando. Their curries are very rich and flavorful. In fact, everything from Yam Beef to Pad Thai and from the cheese rolls to their Tom Yum is always pleasurable. But, as it typical of most quintessentially culture-centric restaurants, the native Thai servers are a bit socially awkward. So, order anything you like, and you will be very satisfied. If the place is packed, it'll be worth the wait. Just a quick note: Dishes seemingly get spicier as the week goes by. On Monday, it seems like medium spicy is mild, and by Friday it's almost hot. So, for those of you who can't take the heat, proceed with caution.

I've always ordered with Doorstep Delivery ( haven't actually eaten at the restaurant, so I don't have much to note on service, etc.) However, I love the fresh spring rolls and ALL curries :). My boyfriend loves the Pad Thai. The food always arrives hot and delicious. It's definitely priced well for a nicer Thai place. I'll definitely continuing ordering from this place!

Thai spicy means SPICY here! The basil seafood fried rice is excellent, and the fried wontons are a must try! Not too expensive too, so great for a take out dinner on a lazy weekend night.

Food was okay, but service was terrible! Waitstaff repeated our order back to us and food still came out wrong. Waited far too long for the check (even after requesting it).

I must say that this has been one if worst experiences I've had in central Florida. I visited napasorn on Friday lunch hour. The place was packed and I stood by the door for about 4minutes before being acknowledged. The lady pointed me to an empty table in which I waited 5 more minutes for a menu. After the menu, I waited about another 5 minutes to place my order which took about 25 to make. I have no clue why people say this place has "quick service" because I certainly did not experience that. The food was ok. I ordered the veggies with light brown sauce and did the stir fry upgrade. The veggies with the sauce was nothing wow but the stir fry was good. You could tell it was freshly stirred. I would probably not come back to this restaurant. There are too many other Thai places in downtown orlando that deserve my business.

Good for office lunches when you want to get away. Panang curry was delicious and very filling. I just didn't really like their tofu. I can make the same tofu at home. They don't do that special frying/searing voodoo that that I'm unable of replicating.

I was in town celebrating my promotion and decided to have Thai for lunch while out shopping. This place was very authentic and very delicious. I had the chicken and noodles with sauteed veggies. It was amazing! This was def added to my fav Orlando lunch list.

Excellent! We sheared the Pad Thai because we always test the waters with it - it was very flavorful. We all had soup, Hot and Sour - careful with this one, it was hot! We asked for medium heat. I unfortunately "slurped" and pulled the chili's right down my throat. Crispy duck, red curry, vegetables aren't over cooked; even the rice has a lot of flavor. Napasorn is in a nice building and the room has a 2nd story. Not your usual Thai place. Pricing was good we thought for what was delivered. We will be back!

I'm not really sure what all the hype is for this place. I really like Thai food, but this place just fell short. We started with the combination appetizer. it was $9.95 for a few different things, not really that much. The one ting I really liked was the chicken satay. I ordered my usually Thai dish (Chicken Red Curry - Thai Hot), this is what I use as a baseline to rate Thai restaurants against. While service was good and fast, the food really was not. My food was extremely bland, not hot, and just lacked flavor. I spiced it up a bit, but it is just not the same as when it is cooked in the kitchen with spices. Another disappointing thing is that they do not validate parking, even though they said they did when I called. So an extra $10, on a not great meal. Last time for Napasorn...sorry...

Delish! Husband had garlic pepper chicken medium. It was excellent. Really garlicky and heat came in after garlic. I had chicken pad Thai. Lots of chicken and flavor was spot on. Asked for extra cilantro ad I do like that. Next time panang. Also had the cheese rolls. Different. Like a crab Rangoon but in an egg roll wrapper. We will be back!

Don't be afraid to try this place because you think it'll be overpriced just because it's located in the heart of downtown. It's priced very competitively with other Thai restaurants of this caliber, and really only Sea Thai (my favorite) comes to mind as being on the same level of quality. I had the Pad Thai (hot) and it delivered the heat, while still maintaining the traditional balance of salty, sour, spicy, and sweet. Lately my experience with Thai restaurants around Orlando is that they're afraid to make it HOT, and you have to add a bunch of the sauces/peppers that are usually tableside. While I actually like doctoring up my food and customizing to my particular whims at that moment, I'm thrilled that Napasorn actually brought the heat for once. It's refreshing to know that you're not eating Thai food that is mellowed for the "American" palate. I know there are lots of people out there, myself included, that want the full experience instead of the G-rated version. A friend ordered the Red Curry with chicken, and this too was a straight up flame-thrower of a dish, hotter than the Pad Thai (which it's supposed to be) and we devoured it. It wasn't just hot for the purpose of being ridiculously hot; it had an amazing depth of flavor to the point that you could actually taste all the ingredients. It's one of those dishes that after you take a bite, your mouth is tingling because of the escalating heat, but the only solution is to keep inhaling it in an effort to somehow outrun the heat. It was great! My only critique would be the lack of variety of veggies, it had the standard bell peppers and onions, where as I think this is a dish where you could get a little more adventurous (Chinese eggplant, pineapple - anything - use your imagination) and truly have a perfect curry dish. Quick recap - Apps: Summer Rolls - 3.5 / 5 (standard rolls, better than average peanut sauce) Mussel Clay Pot - 3 / 5 (awesome broth but mussels over-cooked) Crispy Spring Rolls - 3 / 5 (standard but tasty) Entrees: Pad Thai - 4 / 5 Red Curry - 4.5 / 5 (could be a 5 if slightly more unique) Miscellaneous: Watermelon sake (chilled) - 4.5 / 5 - I'm not sure it's girly to drink this or not, but it's damn good so I don't care. I always order hot sake, but it was hot as hell outside so we decided to try something different and after the first carafe lasted about 2 seconds, we immediately ordered 3 more!

My first time here and it was amazing. I had the beef w Broccoli and my fiancé had the garlic and pepper fish. Both were fantastic. I had a wonton soup and potstickers to start. Everything was so good. We cannot wait to return. We wish we ate here earlier. Feels like we been missing out on some amazing Thai Food

Great Thai food. Highly recommend the Penang fish. Very flavorful!! Small starter salad comes with each entree. If you have a Thai favorite and it is not on the menu, ask. That's how my husband got his praram chicken. Awesome. Great service also. Highly recommend.

This place really surprised me because I can't taste any Thai spices of all our dishes. The Tom kha soup had no coconut milk in it and I didn't taste lemon grass or any Thai spices. The soup came out clear and honestly I have no idea what I was having. We also had curry which was very running, the consistent of the curry just not there. The flavor is not there either. It was so tasteless, I couldn't tell if it was yellow curry or green curry or red curry. Everything we had made me wonder why they would considered themselves as Thai restaurant. Maybe Thai food in Orlando just very different than the Thai restaurants in cities like Los Angeles, las vegas, Seattle or Bangkok.

The Mee Krob (fried noodles with sprouts & shrimp) and Pineapple Fried Rice (fried rice with pineapple, raisins, cashews, chicken, beef, pork and shrimp) were really enjoyable, as were the Thai Fried Donuts.

I'm no Thai food expert, but I know what tastes good to me! The Red Curry is heavenly! You want to pick up the bowl and lick it clean! The mussels are delish (appetizer)! Sometimes I order two servings! Thai Donuts, whether they are authentic or not, are super yummy as well!

Thai food is a weakness of mine. I adore it, and luckily near me I have some pretty delicious choices. I figured after all of the excellent reviews this restaurant has that I couldn't go wrong. Mind you it was very good, but I was not impressed. The soup I had was absolutely delicious, the broth tasty and the medium level of spice I chose gave off the perfect amount of heat. The rest of the meal however didn't do much for me. The Basil Chicken had one Basil leaf. One? I adore Basil and would have loved to have more. I also tried my husbands curry and something was missing. It was a bit bland even through the high spice level, if that makes sense. Prices were definitely good and the service excellent. Maybe another dish will wow me like the soup did. Next time. I look forward to upgrading this review from OK to "I am a fan"

Mister and I strolled in here an hour before closing. We were greeted right away, which was a plus. After we placed our orders, food came out promptly (within 10 mins, awesome!) I ordered the basil fried rice with seafood entree with a thai iced tea. I was given a generous serving of my entree and it didn't taste bad. On the other hand, my thai iced tea had too much creamer in it. After our food came out, the waitress left us to engage in conversation. That's when service quickly dwindled from then on. Our water was never refilled and she never came back to check up on us. After I finished my food, I sat around for a good ten minutes and stared at the chatting group. Nope, she didn't notice that I was done my food. Afterwards, I resorted to waving my hand in the air for a good minute or two. Nope, nothing. Mister had to say "excuse me" from across the restaurant. One of the people she was talking to informed her that we needed her.. and that's when she came over. Good thing we were the only ones dining in the restaurant.. if there were others, I think they would've been ignored too.

Ate here for lunch yesterday. I had the cheese egg roll, which was a lot like crab rangoon that you get at chinese restaurants. I also had Cashew Nut Beef, it was good but not great. I tried my friends duck which was really tasty.

I had some Thai food from here for lunch and dinner before and they were pretty good. I don't eat Thai food much so I usually get the popular item such as Pad Thai with the meat of my choice. It was good for the couple times i tried. Their interior decor looks upscale for Asian food eatery (think glorified Chinese food joint PF Chang) which makes their food taste better?? :) I liked their calamari fried with the sweet sauce. I had the Poe Thak soup which was strange even to my taste. The seafood contents for the soup was plenty but the broth with the sour flavor mixed with the assorted seafood flavors was a challenge. I will have to try other dishes to see how it is overall. They also have sushi as well but that night when I went it was not available due to chef out sick. I'll have to try it next time. They are pretty busy during lunch since they are on Pine Street and lots of business people go there in big groups. Take out may be the beat way to go if you are short on lunch time.

We have tried many Thai restaurants in Orlando and this one is the absolute best. Start out with the cheese rolls and the summer rolls as an app. The pad thai is always tasty and well prepared. If you are in the mood for curry, they do it right. Leave room for dessert because the mango and sticky rice is a perfect ending.
