This 5-star review is strictly for the Mochi bonbon's, specifically the green tea mochi. Offering 5 different flavored mochi bonbons, I opted for the green tea while my friends enjoyed strawberry and mango flavored mochis; for $1 a piece (and they're decent sized, too) they were a STEAL. Super delicious and I could NOT stop talking about it for the next 6 hours. I really want a Mochi Frozen Yogurt in the Palm Beaches!

I usually love Mochi. Their stores always have a cool vibe and are really hip. This Mochi didn't meet my expectations. The "cool" vibe was missing. On the SUPER plus side the customer service was excellent as was the frozen yogurt. There were the usual amount of toppings to choose from and the store was very clean. Because it's in the mall and conveniently located I would recommend it.

This is the one inside Florida Mall. Mochi the brand itself is my favorite and only forzen yogurt, hence the 2-start. This particular store is very run down. Every time I went, there's at least one yogurt machine broken. Staff told me they kept sending work order, but it's never fixed. Not many flavors to choose from when 2 out of 5 machines are broken. Very different from the one in Gainesville, FL, where I used to live. There's another one in Downtown Orlando, much better store.

I was so glad there was a frozen yogurt place in the mall! The yogurt is decent, but you gotta be careful how many toppings you put in your cup. Almost $0.50 an oz is pretty pricey for yogurt and can get really expensive! Lots of topping choices, but no almonds...boo! The one thing I didn't like was the mochi...kinda ironic considering the name of this place. The mochi flavor was good, but the mochi itself was DRY and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Being that this place is called mochi, they should know how to store their mochi so it doesn't dry out. Really disappointing, but the yogurt was good. Try mango, honeydew, taro, or original!

As far as mall frozen yogurt places go (this Mochi is located inside of The Florida Mall), this place is great. I suppose the interesting thing about it is that it isn't exactly located in the food court, but off to the side of the mall, near the gigantic Forever 21 and H&M if I'm not mistaken. So ultimately, this Mochi is built into a small shop space in the mall, which allows for plenty of room for customers to take advantage of the self-serve frozen yogurt. Essentially FL Mall Mochi has its froyo machines on a wall in the back, with the toppings bar located on the way to the cash register (ingenius!). I have been to one or two other Mochis before and realize that this is how most of them are set up, but I just love that layout. It kind of forces you to make a quick decision about what toppings you want, which comes in extremely useful if the store happens to get packed. And also just because the space is smaller doesn't mean that you lose the sushipop, technologically-infused style of Mochi. Don't worry--you will still find the white plastic sheen adorned with colorful lighting, modern furniture, and the built-into-the-wall flat screen TV look here. As far as the quality of the yogurt is concerned, I remember it being fine. There were plenty of flavor choices, and the toppings bar seemed to constantly be re-stocked (more than likely due to the fact that it is still a small shop, with smaller toppings buckets). Overall, having this Mochi in Florida Mall makes me happy because it doesn't force you to resort to standard mall ice cream, such as Hagen Daazs or DQ, both of which are ridiculously high in fat and calories.

Mochi is a good choice for Froyo when you're at the mall. The Florida mall also has a Pinkberry and another smaller froyo place, but Mochi is my favorite due to the self-serve aspect. Pinkberry is good, but you have to ask for samples; whereas at Mochi you can casually stroll around tasting flavors and pile on all the toppings you want. They have a nice variety of flavors and toppings. It's located near H&M and Forever21, so be sure to stop by on your way to those stores!

Ahhhhh yes! Here is another place to score more mochi balls. Sweet, creamy fruity ice cream wrapped in soft fluffy dough and dusted with a white powdery coating in many flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, green tea, taro, and strawberry. I love Mochi! They rotate their flavors often so you have the chance to sample all of their yummy creations. This past visit they had cookies 'n cream, cake batter, vanilla, chocolate, taro, original, mango, and a few others (a total of 10 flavors). Their topping bar is awesome! They have a large variety of toppings from fresh fruit (strawberry, kiwi, mango, raspberry, etc.) to cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, granola, etc.) to candy (Twix, Kit Kat, Reese's Pieces, etc.)! There's so much to choose from, you can make a new creation every visit!
