The falafel with salad, with so many vegetables..coucous..cucumber, yoghurt, cilantro sauces...all so refreshing and delicious! It is so refreshing to find a place to eat healthy and feel good internally afterwards! We need more of these around Orlando!

Everything is so fresh! I love this place. I wish there was another location outside of the mall! I've tried the falafel and salad. Both are outstanding. Can't wait to try the juices.

Literally the best vegan option at the mall-even in the region. I highly recommend this place for any vegans or vegetarians. The food is on point - flavorful and fresh. The premium juices are so delicious! And the vegan rice pudding?! Insanely good... I always frequent this place when at the mall.

You should have seen the look on my face when my husband told me to look in a certain direction of the food court at Millenia. Shock, disbelief and a creepy smile emerged because Maoz is the chain of all chains in my book of food which I 'miss'. Being from the Netherlands, any trip I used to make to Amsterdam would include a visit to Maoz. Having lived in the US for 7 years I still talk about this chain and their crispy, fluffy falafel balls. Maoz is a vegetarian chain focusing on falafel and salads. Side items include their amazing fries and sweet potato fries, and a couple of other ones. I don't stray from my ush, so I did not pay close attention. You have a choice of white or whole weat pita, which will be filled with Maoz crunchy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside seasoned falafels. You can add toppings from a small buffet-like line which include tabbouli, roasted red peppers, an onion-tomato combination and others. You can upgrade to add premium toppings such as baba, feta or hummus, also. At the end of the line are the Maoz sauces to top of your masterpiece such as tahin and garlic sauce. If you prefer a salad it is assembled the exact same way utilizing the buffet style bar. Normally the bar is open and you can add unlimited amounts of toppings. Once you eat the top layer of your pita you will be left with just lettuce and falafel in your bread, at which point you can pile on more. Not at this location, which is a bummer. Drinks are available, and their lemonade (& Arnold Palmer's) is good. For food and sentimental value this place gets 5 stars, however the closed/limited bar and unfriendliness of some of the staff get this location a 4 star total.

Been here a few times and it's consistently fresh food and excellent service. Best food I've ever had in a shopping mall food court. The falafel pita was perfectly seasoned and the garlic cilantro sauce is a must.

What's better than crispy, fried falafel? Falafel that is cheap & convenient to enjoy at the mall! I'm completely obsessed with Maoz's Falafel Salad: your pic of lettuce/greens, vegetables, toppings & sauce -- get in my belly now! Make sure to try their garlic sauce, yes it'll make your breath not so enjoyable for a few minutes but man oh man is it worth it. Next time you go to Mall at Millenia make sure to check out Maoz, well worth the time!

Delish! The falafel here is flavorful and moist. Try them with cilantro sauce, Sriracha sauce, garlic sauce and/or yogurt sauce. The roasted vegetable salad and beet salad are my favorites. Great fresh juices and teas, too.

I love the freshness of all of the ingredients, the flavor of the falafel, and they're really not stingy with portion sizes. Once adding on all of the delicious toppings, and sauce options, it really is a fantastic deal. Especially appreciate that healthy dining options are available in a mall food court. Definitely will be back!

Carbs on carbs on carbs! And I just adore it. Maoz is a falafel eatery that is vegan and vegetarian friendly. Now, if you don't know what a falafel is: a) you're missing out and b) let me explain it to you. /fläfl/ n. a Middle Eastern dish of spiced mashed chickpeas and/or other beans formed into balls and deep-fried. I told you that you were missing out! Anyway, back to Maoz. You can order your falafel in a sandwich or salad form. Obviously I choose the sandwich, hence my opening line. Once you order, the falafel is made fresh and you are asked to pick toppings that vary, but typically consist of olives, beet salad, tabbouleh, cucumbers, veggie salad, etc. There are also some sauces to throw on your deliciousness, my faves are the cilantro and the spicy sauces. Yum. In their self-serve sauce bar (MORE SAUCE!), they have creamy garlic (be careful though, this mess is so tasty, but super high in calories), tahini, and a yogurt. Along with their falafel they have a variety of sides and also offer fresh juices. This is a lunch staple if you're in the Millennia area!

I don't think I've eaten at another kiosk in the food court since I discovered this gem. I was drawn in with a free sample of a falafel. It was really good. Not the best I've ever had, but probably second to a Greek place in Tarpon springs. I was then brought to the front of the line where I began selecting my options. I kind of has a Chipotle vibe where you pick a burrito or bowl, but here its Pita or salad. The majority of the times I have picked the half falafel because that's what I got the first time and I could barely finish it. The half falafel is 3 balls instead of the 5 which you get in the full. So I guess it's more of a 3/5ths falafel but that's just going to confuse people. I did get the salad last time because I discovered upon observing other patrons that you have much more room in the salad bowl for toppings than you do in the pita. I tend to fill mine to the breaking point. And yes, if you get one of each topping plus a little extra of a few of those amazing veggie toppings (oh the beets and broccoli!) Then your pita will explode. That doesn't even include the sauces, there are several. But I think my favorite are the cilantro (which they keep safely guarded behind the glass so make sure to ask for extra on the side) and the garlic sauce which I selfishly hoard into about 3 or 4 of those little ramekin things. The tahini sauce is great too. They will ask if you want to make it a combo that includes a drink and a side or dessert. I haven't tried all of the options but the French fries and sweet potato fries are nothing to write home about. And I love fries, I have tricked my boyfriend out of them on several occasions. What I did fall in love with however was the rice pudding. Oh my gosh it's so perfectly sweet and creamy with just a touch of cinnamon. And the mint tea is really great. And don't forget that refills are free so be sure to go get another drink before you go window shopping. If you can make it down the escalator after eating all that food, that is.

What can I say I am a Falafel kind of girl. What exactly is a Falafel, a deep fried ball which is filled with chickpeas. You can buy a bag of five for $4.20, then you are able to select a dipping sauce, I usually pick a cilantro garlic based sauce to go with my bag of Falafel's. I like this gem of a place, which happens to be located in the Millenia Mall in the food court section. Maoz is a vegetarian spot that sells fresh and delicious food. Typically there are samples available for you to try the Falafel. I like the fact that Maoz is located in the mall because you can shop and eat as you please. I have not tried their fresh juices, but they definitely seemed appealing. Some of the fresh juices they offer as an option include Kale, Lemon, Ginger, Apple, Orange and Celery. It's great too see a healthier option offered in the food court. They also have an assortment of toppings to choose from to create your own salad, one of those toppings is fresh Hummus. The service is quick, you get your food in a speedy manner. Location, great flavors, quick service, and cheap sounds good to me.

The father of vegetarian salads, delicious, rich and gets you full. Plenty of falafel as opposed to the very little quantities served in other places. Couldn't have asked for a better falafel salad.

Go here when I forget to pack a lunch. Get the soup. Always comes out nice and hot with good seasoning. I do get the falafel when I'm really hungry. One of the better spots in the Mall at Millenia food court. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

I am giving Maoz four stars for the simple fact that they are killing it in the mall food court game! They're items are extremely tasteful and are healthier than anything else in a food court. Kudos to them! The menu is pretty cool. You pick a salad or a sandwich and add which items you want with it. They have options such as avocado, eggplant, and hummus. All which are super yum! The best part is you can top it off with falafel balls (little bites of love)! They're are amazing and definitely a MUST try! Maoz also offers fresh juices. The have one called the 'green kick' that I find refreshing. It is made with apple, lemon, celery, cucumber, and spinach. You drink one of these bad boys, and you are set to shop until you drop! Overall, I am always happy with what I get here and if you are at the mall, this should be where you go!

Yum! This is a great food court option when you want something healthy-ish. I added the ish since I drown my falafel in the amazing garlic sauce, hence losing any sense of healthiness. But it is so tasty I don't even care. I haven't ventured past the falafel sandwich (falafel balls sliced and inserted into pita bread), since it's so good, but on my last visit I added some of the salads to my sandwich, and while it was insanely messy to eat, it was delicious. I highly rec a little of the cole slaw for some crunch, the tomatoes and onions, and the cilantro sauce. Be prepared and grab a bunch of napkins, as you will definitely need them. They also feature a juice bar, if you are into that sort of thing. I prefer to eat my meals, so I have never bothered to check out the juicing options. My only gripe is the price, it feels a little pricey, but given that the portions are big and they are in the Milennia food court, I guess it's not that outrageous. And the food is fresh and tasty, so I can deal.

This place was inside a mall. In retrospect it was obvious, but it wasn't so as my GPS was going loco trying to put me right inside the mall! It's a deli style eatery where you start from one end, pick from one of the base options, and then Subway-style load it with toppings. I got the filafel sandwich and crammed it with other random stuff. The sandwich was so brimming that after one bite my beard exploded in white sauce. I quickly ran out of napkins, and had to rush and get some more. The falafels were well done: crunchy and mildly spicy. The sauces were fresh though they seemed to have run out of them, and I had to squeeze on the bottle a lot for a few squirts. In a sea of Brazilian steakhouses, this all vegetarian Middle Eastern place stood out like an Oasis.

Would not think you could find this in a food court at a mall - excellent falafel and everything was so fresh , love the toppings you can choose - next time will build a salad

I am vegan and I have food allergies to dairy. When this store opened I was so happy. This is the first time I have been able to eat at a food court in a mall, like a normal person. The food is prepared quickly, everything is labeled so you know what is vegan, gluten free, etc. This is one of the healthier choices in the mall. You can build your own salad or sandwich so you have tons of options.

BE CAREFUL TO NOT GET HORNSWOGGLED HERE! I've been to Maoz Vegetarian in New York City so I was excited when I heard they were coming to Orlando. In a world with a McDonalds and a Taco Bell on every street corner, the concept of a fast food Vegetarian restaurant is highly appealing. Gone are the days where the term "fast food" automatically means greasy burgers and fries. Maoz salad The Orlando Maoz is located in the food court at The Mall of Millenia. Not terribly convenient if you just want to grab a quick bite but hopefully the concept will expand into some free standing outlets. However, it is refreshing to have a quick and healthy option if you do happen to be shopping at the mall. The menu is mostly based around falafels- those fried crunchy balls of chickpeas and spices. They really are delicious and can satisfy even a carnivore. At Maoz they offer the falafel in either a sandwich or a salad. Some of the locations up north also offer Vegan Shawarma but it is not on the menu here in Orlando. In addition to sandwiches and salads, they also offer soups and freshly squeezed juices. It is important to pay attention to what you are ordering. I ordered the "just salad" option under the sandwich menu for $5.50 and I ended up with the $7.95 falafel salad. I didn't ask for the falafel but they gave it to me and charged me for it anyway. There is a "just salad" option under the salad and the sandwich menu. I assume the sandwich version is less falafel so it is just a smaller salad but listed under the sandwiches. Confused? Apparently I was too. I got a handful of spinach with 5 falafel balls, then I was led to the vast array of unlimited toppings. I piled on red cabbage, olives, chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, tabouli, beets, broccoli, cauliflower and coleslaw. It's a great toppings bar (though they call it a salad bar) with plenty of healthy options- there is no ketchup and mustard here. There are plenty of sauces as well including a spicy green chili sauce, yogurt sauce and Vegan tahini dressing. It was a great salad and very filling. I personally could have gone with a smaller version but this would be a perfect size for anyone who wanted a big hearty and healthy meal. Chad ordered the falafel sandwich and had his choice of the same toppings as I had. (Sorry no pictures though it was the same as my salad- just stuffed into a pita.) We had also ordered a side of the mixed fries- a combo of their Belgian style fries and the sweet potato fries. Nothing special. They didn't have much flavor or seasoning. I never thought that I'd ever say this but some salt would have helped. We also tried the rice pudding. Neither Chad nor I are big fans of rice pudding but we both actually liked the Maoz version. It was very creamy and lightly sprinkled with cinnamon. Quite tasty. I had ordered a combo meal with the salad, a side and a freshly squeezed juice. Another way I was bamboozled was with the juice. As I ordered my meal I was given a paper copy of the juice menu. There were eight varieties with celery, kale and beets among other combinations. I chose the "Up Beet" with apples, beets, carrots, celery, ginger and orange. My choices with the combo meal should have been apple, carrot or orange juice only. If I was paying more attention to the menu I would have known the juice menu I was given would be a $3 upcharge. Chad ordered the plain carrot juice. The juices were very good- I love that I can now ordered fresh juice at the mall. There is a choice of other beverages including soda and water, plus their homemade Lemonade and Mint-Ginger Tea. I still love the concept and the food was great. The prices won't deter us from returning but I will be extra careful and question what they are pushing at me. My meal I thought I had ordered was $10- the meal I got was $15. That is quite steep for one person at a fast food joint. It's my own fault and I should have said something when it came time to pay. I am just warning YOU to pay extra careful attention so you too don't get hornswoggled.

My husband and I stopped at the food court for lunch recently.I had no idea this was a chain that is also in NYC! I didn't want anything too heavy and noticed this option. One of the employees was giving out samples of falafel calling it the "Best falafel in Orlando". I thought that was a rather funny thing to proclaim ....in a food court! Well I took a bite and , man, it was good! And probably one of the best I have tried in the city. Seriously! Crispy chickpea and spice goodness....I was hooked! So I decided to go with the falafel on white pita (wheat available as well or you can skip and make as a salad) and made it a combo meal. I added hummus and then , in typical fast food fashion, you pick what topping you want to add to your pita and the employee will add. These toppings are all included in the price. I didn't want to go too crazy and overwhelm the flavors so I picked a veggie salad and red cabbage to dress my pita . They also have a nice selection of sauces to complement your pita. I asked for a sample of the cilantro sauce which was DIVINE and tasted so fresh. There are also squeeze bottles of tahini sauce and yogurt sauce you can douse on your pita . I highly recommend the tahini sauce. I went with a side of Belgian fries (regular cut French fries) and had a fresh Arnold Palmer as my drink . Don't get turned off by the small premade cups of drinks. They offer free refills. I would say that this was a rather satisfying meal for it being vegetarian. I will gladly eat here again when I'm in the area and super glad it's a healthy and fairly inexpensive option. Welcome to Orlando, Maoz!

I really love this place which is located in the food court at the mall at millenia . Every thing they serve there is super fresh and yummy. I have gotten the falafel salad and husband got the falafel wrap. The falafel are delicious and satisfying. Everything is great. Belgian fries were excellent as well. I never tire of their food.

As I was leaving The Millenia Mall, I walked through the food court to see who was giving free samples. (Don't hate, everyone loves free samples!) But no one was! Until I got to the last stop before exiting the food court. Maoz was giving falafel samples. I had no intention of actually eating at the mall, but this falafel was so great I had to see how amazing it would be in a pita! It was possibly the best falafel pita I've ever had. I ordered a half falafel pita. After ordering, you go down the line and can add any of about ten different items for no additional charge. You can also pay to add things like baba ganoush or hummus or a few other greeky items. They then have tahini at the end for you to add to your meal or put in a little cup to go. My half pita was about $5 and very filling. I may have to go back to Millenia just to hit up this little spot!

I love this place. Their bread is very fresh and delicious. Working in the mall, I've gotten to know the staff and they are very friendly. I recommend buying the salad and getting the bread on the side because you can get much more food!

Glad to see this chain move into Orlando! The freshness and quality is consistent with their NYC or Philly stores. Healthy and tasty, Maoz has well seasoned falafels and Belgian fries. The only downside is that at other Maoz restaurants, you can refill your pita or salad with limitless toppings without going up to a counter. A great vegetarian alternative!

Delicious food! Great prices, fast service! Try the garlic sauce! I always get the 1/2 falafel sandwich which always fills me up! They also have fresh juices there!

I stumbled upon this restaurant in the mall after doing a yelp search for the word "vegan." I had never heard of Maoz prior to that. After reading up on the chain and what they stand for and how they work, I thought it was just too good to be true....I mean, how could a vegetarian restaurant be in the mall and be quick service? To my surprise, the food was amazing and the falafel was perfect. My kids loved it and ate it like they would chicken nuggets if we ate meat. A great new option for our vegan family. Thank you!

Well it was Black Friday and were starving. The assistant manager was giving out samples of the falafel. It was delicious. Me and my wife both went with falafel sandwiches and they have an amazing assortment of healthy gluten free and vegetarian options. I am a meat eater, don't get me wrong , but this sandwich was plenty and very satisfying. I will def recommend Maoz ad look forward to coming back!

Delicious! My new favorite place, even if it is in the mall. The falafel salad was DELIGHTFUL... like made my day kind of delightful. All of the toppings were delicious, try them all. The white bean soup was so flavorful and the green juice was yummy as well. I am excited to go back!

I used to live in New York, and it's sad to say that it's been pretty hard to find a decent Falafel anywhere else. Most places are just off in one way or another -- the wrong spices, too cooked, not cooked enough, whatever. It's been pretty disappointing. Until Maoz -- they're perfect. Yes, a Falafel isn't gourmet cooking, but if you want to know what a real Falafel is supposed to taste like, this is the place. I hope they thrive at the mall, because I want to enjoy their falafels for years to come. As a vegetarian, it's wonderful to have a great tasting food court option. Let's hope the busloads of foreign tourists who visit the mall have a taste for some middle eastern food and keep Maoz comfortably in business!

A vegetarian fast food restaurant, you ask? In the mall food court? Yes! And it is great! I stumbled upon this gem today while power shopping over my lunch break. I eat a vegan diet and the only thing I had to do here to fit my eating plan was not add feta or egg to my salad. Vegan sauces/dressing, excellent toppings (including hummus and avocado), and delicious falafel. I also tried one of their fresh, green juices - the Super Fit. It was delicious as well. I'll likely stop back for the juice alone!
