Good stuff. First time ordering and I was pretty impressed. Came right on time and everything was hot and fresh. I ordered the honey garlic garlic chicken, vegetable egg rolls and their sugared donuts. There was a little much breading on the chicken, hence the 4 stars, but the flavor was great. The sugary balls of dough were amazing and reminds me of classic Chinese donuts I've had in the past. Really enjoyed this meal.

We order from here @ least twice a month, the food is great, the chicken lo mein is awesome and big portions.

I ordered online through an app called Foodler. I also got this for home delivery. I ordered homemade tea, teriyaki chicken, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken and fried plantains. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious! The tea is ok (I have more of a sweet tooth). The delivery was within 30 minutes as expected and the guy delivering was very nice (and cute lol). I will definitely be delivering from here again and I recommend this place to anyone looking for Chinese!

This was the worst Chinese food I've had in east Orlando. Today, I picked up dinner and went home. I ordered Orange chicken with fried rice. I had to spit out the first bite. The chicken tasted like bad shrimp. The sauce was water thin and very bland. Being hungry I thought I'd eat the fried rice only to find out it was pork fried rice. The few pork bites tasted fishy also. I should have seen problems coming...a 10yo boy was taking orders and the other small children there were going in and out of the kitchen. If they don't care enough to keep small kids out out a dangerous kitchen how could they care about my food? Seems they didn't. I called the restaurant and requested they replace my Orange chicken with something not cooked with the seafood. They refused to deliver and insisted I drive there with the Orange chicken as if I was lying. I'm out $9 and am still hungry. This place is off my list. Disgusting experience.

I'm writing this review mainly as a reminder to myself not to order this again. Everything is very bland and dry.

I went here for the first time and ordered take out. I thought that the last few positive reviews were a good indicator. I was wrong. i ordered the sesame chicken and vegetable lo mien. The lo mien was okay, still definitely not great. The sesame chicken was absolutely disgusting. I took one bite and couldn't eat any more of it, I don't even know if I would call the meat inside the breading chicken and it all had a fishy taste to it. I asked my roommate to try it and she was equally as disgusted. Avoid this place for sure!

Just tried Magic China for the first time. I had their triple delicacy and general tso's chicken (as suggested by other reviews. I can totally see what all the rave was about! The chicken was nice size chunks of chicken with not a lot of Breading. The triple delicacy had great flavor to it.

Ordered delivery. We were quoted 40 minutes and that's about how long it took. The general tsos chicken was very flavorful and melted in my mouth. I will definitely order from here again.

Their food made me sick to my stomach. I ordered the General Tso chicken and it had a slimy coating to it. Not the traditional flavor of any of my cobo was what I was hoping for. The egg drop soup was as well not as I expected it to taste and had a foul smell to it. To add to all of the problems is the staff has children that sit at the tables and play video games while you pick up your order. I even was rung up at the register by a 12 year old while an older Asian lady took an order via phone. Avoid this place.

Ordered for delivery, and it took almost an hour to get here. The Orange chicken is a little spicy which doesn't bother me , but beware for any nonlovers of spicy food. The teriyaki chicken doesn't taste like teriyaki chicken, but its still good. And the price was was very reasonable. Ill definitely give this place another shot

My husband and I have ordered from Magic China numerous times. It has been pretty good for the most part. Unfortunately, the last two deliveries from Magic China have been very disappointing. The General tso's chicken tasted very old, like it had been sitting out for awhile. The pork fried rice tasted like it had sat in the pot a little too long, and my dumplings looked very odd. I'm not sure if they were also old, or what, but they looked very unsafe to eat. I would like to give them another try, as Magic China used to delivery fantastic tasting food, and good lunch prices!

Ok so I'll admit that I didn't even know Magic China existed until I came upon this page on Yelp! And the irony is that I literally live down the street from it. So, I figured I would give it a go. Decided to check out the website since I really wanted to have food delivered and not have to leave the house. In the process I discovered that not only did they deliver to my place, they also had an online ordering system! Now I know what you're thinking--"what? a chinese place with an online ordering system? I bet the website is poorly designed and badly maintained..." Well, there is where you would be wrong--not only is the website easy to navigate, there are even little popup boxes that come up with reminders about certain things (ex: you must place a minimum $15 order in order to get food delivered). And once the food from Magic China was delivered, I could tell right away that I would not be dissatisfied with the portion sizes. While this is true at most Chinese restaurants, I figured it was worth noting here. I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo platter (which came with soup, rice, AND an egg roll), and I was happier with the taste of my chicken than I am with the other places around here I have ordered from in the past. All in all, I think I have found a new Chinese food place. Thanks, Yelp!

Just ordered take out. Order arrived 25 minutes late from 45 - 60 minutes estimated time for delivery. The apps were dead and the entrees were barely luke-warm. Did not feel the magic!

My husband and I are regulars at this restaurant. It has the typical Chinese food menu at the typical prices. The food and service are what makes Magic China a little less than typical. They are really quick and super-friendly. The family that runs it always recognize us when we go in and do their best to give us great service. They also just started offering sushi and boba tea. We've also had them deliver and it's usually very quick. This place is great for one of those nights when you just don't feel like cooking!

I love Chinese food and am not overly picky about it, however, I had Magic China delivered to my house and was quite disappointed with the food. I ordered the fried tofu, wonton soup, crab rangoons, and a spring role and my boyfriend and I agreed that everything tasted a bit off. The fried tofu which was described as spicy was plain fried tofu served at room temperature on a bed of lettuce with no sort of sauce, no spice, and no real flavor at all to speak of. Everything else was just ok and the entire experience was pretty underwhelming, I don't think I'll order from there again. On the bright side, everything was quite reasonably priced.

I am just not a big fan of Chinese food. Well actually let me rephrase... I like the food I'm just VERY leery about trying new Chinese places. My husband loves chinese food and does not care where it comes from. Me on the other hand... I'm a bit more picky. This place was alright. My hubby was in the mood for some egg rolls on our way to BJs so we stopped in. He liked them so much he decided to have a late lunch here and said the sweet and sour chicken and pork fried rice was great. I had 2 vegetable egg rolls which were decent. For me it was meh.. a-ok.

Magic China provides your typical Chinese food options. Nothing spectacular but always a consistent taste and service. They do provide their service extremely quick whether it be 1 order or a order of 10! I would say that between the various experiences with Chinese restaurants I have to say that Magic China has always been a solid choice for those in the Waterford Lakes/East Orlando area.

I didn't really care for the flavor of the food here. I thought they used to much fishy tasting oils which took away from the spices in the sauces that I like. I do realize that they do use oil/sauces like oyster etc but to me it was over powering. I will not be going back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
