Writing this review a little late. Went to loving hut on Thursday with my wife. We had a chance to get away from the kids for a little while and decided to eat here. We hadn't been here in a while so I was excited. Well it turned out to be a really good experience. The menu had changed, better images and descriptions of the food. What we enjoyed the most was the service Vat (unsure about spelling). He really made our meal enjoyable and took good care of us. My wife and I had the wonton soup, she had the avocado salad and I had some dumplings and a fish sandwich. I was impressed with the taste of the sandwich. Really had good flavor. It came with sweet potato fries too...they were really good. We left there content with our meal and with the nice treatment and service. I know the outside might not look it's best, but like good books, it's what's inside that counts. Can't wait to go back!!

Spring Rolls are the best. All hail The Supreme Master. Summer Rolls were good. The other food items we've tasted weren't so great but the flan is good too. Rose cappuccino is hit or miss, sometimes good sometimes too bitter

I've been to several Loving Hut restaurants from Florida to California to Washington, this Loving Hut is honestly one of the best ones I've been to thus far. The menu has a huge variety, from the usual Asian affairs of noodles and rice bowls to sandwiches, burgers, salads, and lots of American favorites such as corn dogs and 'chik'n' strips. Mind you, all these options are vegan! I have not had a vegan corn dog outside of this Loving Hut, I was extremely surprised to find baseball park vegan food at this restaurant. I had the avocado salad, golden strips, and corn dogs the last time I went here. I enjoyed my avocado salad, as it was a sweet vinaigrette with fruit and avocado that was very satisfying, as eating avocado is probably my favorite vegetable. The golden strips for vegan 'imitation' chick'n strips were much better than anything I could find in a store, because they're double battered and have the texture of any normal fried food. If you can't tell - I'm a huge fan of vegan snack foods, so I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and put it on the top of my favorite Loving huts thus far.

For a restaurant that a a fully vegan menu they have endless options! I love how they basically replicate all your Asian cuisine dishes, but fully vegan. The flavors are awesome and the vegan cheesecake is so amazing it's a must try for everyone!

As a vegan, this is one of my go-to places to eat. That being said, there are some dishes that kind of fall flat and are a little greasy. I personally miss the curry BBQ dish that had curried rice and a skewer of BBQ fake meat. Add a touch of soy sauce and it's delicious! My current go-to foods are the Smiling Dumplings, the NY Steak appetizer (don't be fooled, it's absolutely nothing like a steak, but it's still good), and the golden rice (ask for eggplant sauce, that stuff is the jam!). The dishes that haven't impressed me were the seafood dishes, but there is more than enough to choose from that is tasty. I also miss the Sunday buffet! I wish they'd bring that back! Aside from the food, the people who work there are the nicest people I've ever encountered. On the TVs is a constant stream of the leader of the religion they follow, which while it sounds annoying, is never loud and all it is is the female leader talking about the benefits of a plant-based diet and being a good person. So it's the least in-your-face religion I've ever seen! The place is kept clean and everything is painted white with some gold accents, which makes it feel bright and clean! I'll definitely keep this as one of my favorite places to go! In fact, it's lunchtime now...

Meals can be magical. Not at Applebee's, definitely not at Cheesecake Factory, not at Olive Garden. They can not be magical at those places. Those are bad places. Bad. For a magical meal, you should probably go to Loving Hut. As with most of the other MEN on here, I will grunt loudly that "I Aint Vegan" before continuing, kind of how people like to say "I aint racist" before telling the one about the black guy and the cheese pizza. I aint vegan, but if vegan food was always as delicious and cheap as this, I might be. Let it be known that god was very angry with me for the last year and a half, and prevented me from going here. Finally, I defied our impotent magical leader in the sky, and promptly renounced him forever because the lemongrass noodles were so much better than the god of 1 Samuel 15:3 could ever be. Really, they were incredible. Little lemongrassy hairs embedded within the secret juices of assumedly homemade pasta, with some TVP on top... And the world changed forever. Skip the spring rolls, I would advise, and also the BBQ, which looked disappointing. Get something with noodles, something in soup perhaps, if you're into that kind of thing. In other news, there is a fucking crazy television station on all the time here, with some constant telethon proceeding through our meal, with subtitles in -count em- 14 languages. They constantly referred to "Supreme Master," which is apparently some Vietnamese lady who wears a ton of makeup so as to (from the looks of it) appear white. She did not appear during the telethon, except several times to call in. During this, her photograph was shown, huge, on the screen. I half expected it to grade into talk of "dear leader" and images of classrooms full of kids with the same haircut. A Wikipedia search shows that she once cost the National Parks Service $1 million, and that if you eat at Loving Hut (and you should), your money will be going to her. Fun fact - Loving Hut is a chain. It does not feel like one. May Supreme Master ever smile upon you, as you cram 1.5 pounds of noodles in your face and renounce all other gods.

Pleasant surprise! Day 28 of our 28 Day Vegan Challenge! Loving Hut...why not get a little vegan loving! This place was actually a referral from Ethos. We asked our server what other vegan establishments were in town and she recommended Loving Hut. What a great suggestion. Being a huge fan of asian culture and cuisine Loving Hut and their meatless asian inspired dishes was right up my alley. Venue - Loving Hut lives up to its name considering its very small quarters and heart shaped logo on every menu, serving dishes, walls and hearts are even carved into the floor/base molding around the restuarant. There is limited parking around the back of the building and a decent amount of seating so bring a friend or two. Service - Service was a little slow to start but it seemed like the two ladies working behind the counter were running around with a lot to do. I'm thinking they were probably trying to fill some take-out orders. It didn't take long to get our food after our order was placed and it was just as easy and quick when we re-ordered a couple items. Food - The food was pretty tasty. We opted to try a few of the more thought provoking items on the list. We went with the NY Steak, Golden BBQ and Happy Dawgs. The NY Steak was very tasty and I liked the texture, they of course providd you with steak sauce to give you the full effect. The Golden BBQ was ok, not my fav...it didn't remind me of BBQ very much but was still very good. The Happy Dawgs were a great hotdog imitation. They legit tasted and had the same texture as real from the store hotdogs. Overall - I really enjoyed my experience at Loving Hut. I left feeling satisfied and not too full. Great choice. I recommend everyone pay them a visit.

Had the heavenly rice. It was heavenly it tasted so fresh and delicious. However I felt like I was hungry afterwards... And the wait time was rather long. Still, I'll come back to dine in.

Had the summer rolls, heavenly rice, and lemongrass noodles. Everything we ordered was greasy colorless. The saving grace was the coconut drink and the chocolate walnut cookie. I don't think we'll return.

OMG!!! This place is veganly AMAZING!!! I ordered the combo 2 and wasnt expecting it to be so darn good!!! I will be frequenting this place often. As it is clean, quiet, and intimate not to big or too small and the owners care about vegans i inquired about ingredients and unlike traditional restaurants that get annoyed with us vegans asking is this made with milk? No butter please! Oh and is it dairy free? This place has its true high standards i held met! The vegan chocolate cake was bomb too!!

This place is amazing! I've taken many friends here and they were unaware they were eating vegan! The island curl (shrimp) is nearly impossible to discern from the real thing. I wasn't crazy about the steak, but everything else has been phenomenal. I generally do the garlic special. Great Pho, too! Soooo good!!!!

My boyfriend was vegan when we first met about 2 1/2 years ago and now we just come here since we love the food overall. I always order the BBQ "beef" with curry rice and it's amazing while he gets the huge bowl of vegan pho. The soy protein texture is just fine and doesn't bother me and whoever I bring to try some great asian fusion vegan cuisine.

I love Loving Hut!!!! How did I not realize it was here before?????? Vegan, affordable and delicious I can't even begin to say how happy I am at this moment. We were looking for a place to eat, hoping to find something vegetarian, I found LH on Yelp. Today they had an all you can eat buffet (what?whaaat?) that we dove into. There was enough variety to make even the pickiest eater happy. I couldn't get enough of the delicious seaweed soup. SO GOOD. I have also had the Sweet and Sour soup. Also quite delicious... Just go. You will find something you like. I am not a huge fan of faux meats but I know many people love them, here they have plenty of faux options.

  • Christine C.

I really liked their selection of vegan foods as well as the price. Staff was really friendly and very attentive. I ordered their "BBQ curry" and it tasted like BBQ meat on a skewer! The rest of my party each ordered something different and they all loved their dishes. Can't wait to come back and try another dish! Parking is kinda tricky, so just be aware of the surroundings as you turn in.

I just found a piece of veggie heaven. A must for everyone who enjoy healthy food options. It may be a national chain but this has its own character and neighborhood charm.

Oh Loving hut... Why does your bizarre television channel make me like you even more? The truth is that the quirkiness is fun too and adds to the charm. I like to bring friends here for their first time to see them disarmed by the vegan, preaching TV station and then impressed by the meatless food. This place is 100% vegan, as others have mentioned, and the food is pretty good. As a non-vegan with a vegan sister, I've tried my fair share of meat substitutes and this place has somehow created faux meat that ~dare I say~ may be even better than its real-meat counterparts! I'm not a huge fan of the rice with vegetables that comes with some of the dishes though. The one time I went the veggies were cut in small squares, reminding me of frozen vegetables, and there was entirely too much rice (it took up most of the plate). Don't miss their Sunday buffet though as you'll get a great sampling of many of their best dishes!

Not feeling the Love after waiting forty minutes to get one of two apps. Never even given the chance put in the rest of the order so we left. With only four other covers and two take away orders waiting I just don't see why the wait. .

I was disappointed. For a vegetarian restaurant I was expecting healthy food. Their entire menu consisted of processed food. The taste was pretty good but my body did not feel good afterwards.

The food here is awesome but it takes foreeeeeeevvvveeeeer!! Each time I have eaten here it took around 50 minutes to get my food after ordering. That is way too long especially if u want to come here for lunch. It tastes great and fresh but ain't nobody got time for that!!! I would suggest calling in your order or something unless you have lots of time to wait around.

I visited this place back in January during a short vacation. We went on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. The menu is all vegan/vegetarian .. so if you're not into that, you may wanna try another place. My boyfriend (who isn't veg) and I loved the food and service. We definitely plan on making another visit. I do wish it was in a spot that was easier to locate though.

I love this place. I have been here so any times and can't get enough! I got everyone at work hooked on this place. I can't bring loving hut in without the coworkers getting jealous. And we're not even vegetarians. I brought my sister and her 3 year old picky eater here for lunch and my niece devoured everything on her plate then finished ours. I love the BBQ noodle dish and yogi chicken. But everything else I've tried is so fresh and lip smacking good. I definitely recommend eating here!!!

  • Patti M.

Meh....this was decent but nothing to rave about and I wouldn't go out of my way for it. It was your standard junk food Asian kind of place with nothing creative about it. Even my vegan friends were unimpressed. As I said, I enjoyed my meal but it was nothing stellar. On a good note, they do have vegan Thai tea which was quite good.

By fee my favourite vegan restaurant! Quaint little place with the sweetest staff I've ever come across! And the food is beyond delicious in every sense of the word! The prices are also amazing for the portions that you receive. All in all fantastic! I just wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it more! Certainly worth the three years I waited to come!!

First of all, this place has no curb appeal. I was really reluctant to try because it looked really sketchy. However, I should've known to never judge a book by it's cover. The inside is very clean and cozy. The food is extremely fresh and flavorful. I seriously did not miss the meat. I had a noodle bowl with spring rolls and vegan beef and some sort of fish sauce that was very flavorful. Their drinks are super fresh and aren't loaded with sugar. I tried the taro boba and strawberry smoothie. They were both very good. You feel so good after you eat here. It settles in your stomach so well.

Love, love, love it! This place gave me goosebumps! I are like a Vegan King! The service was just the same! I ordered a sampler and a vegan wonton soup with quinoa inside and was a bit sweet n very tasty. Had many juice selections as well as several different types of regular Oriental style selections that were completely Vegan. It was in a weird part of town but it was not scary. Was well worth the drive to this little Vegan Cafe. The name said it all....truly.

Wow, that was vegan? I has the BBQ and it was delicious. If all vegan food tastes like this, I could see myself converting.

The Loving Hut is usually one of my go to places for lunch during work days. Since I bike to work, I take the part of the Cady Way trail that goes behind Target and dumps out into Coy Town, and then take Illinois right across Bumby to Garden Plaza left, where it's off of on 50. They don't have a bike rack, but I just chain up to a column in the back instead or sometimes on the fence. Their parking lot used to be open to the Vietnamese place next door, but recently they fenced it off, so now you have to drive through the only entrance from 50, which acts as an exit too. Hopefully when you're driving in, someone isn't driving out or vice versa, otherwise it could be annoying. On past visits, I remember feeding a cold with their Fabulous Pho, that rivaled other Pho restaurants in the area, and their fresh squeezed orange juice. I think my favorite so far is the Curry BBQ and the spring rolls. The Orange Yogi rice, which I guess is supposed to be like sweet and sour chicken, has a mildly sweet sauce. I don't know if it's actually made of oranges though. The chicken substitute are like little friend dumplings. The Thai Iced was awesome, and I think I liked it better than actual Thai restaurants in the area. In the past, I have tried their smoothies, I just can't remember which ones. Although people keep saying this is a healthy place to eat, I sometimes feel like they can at times use too many sweeteners on certain dishes. It does look like you have a choice to add sugar to their smoothies and special drinks. There is also controversy about the Textured Soy Protein ingredients they use. And I wish they tried using organic ingredients. Other than that, the experience is a unique one, as most others in reviews pointed out. It's fun to watch the Supreme Master TV and its inspirational shows, even though some of it can sound preachy. The employees are very friendly with a smile on their face. It's table service, but you can order at the counter too.

We had a wonderful time here! Everyone was lovely and kind in this charming establishment. My husband's lemongrass was delicious. The kind gentleman even brought Chris extra sauce and stirred it for him at the table. We took two chocolate oatmeal cookies to go with smiles on our faces.

You do not have to be vegan to enjoy this food. We're carnivores but we seldom get really good veggie food or really good asian as we live in a less international area than Orlando. We eat veggie chinese whenever possible. This place is among the best of them. I could just slurp down the dumplings all night. We had two orders of two types dumplings. We also had the eggplant. Delicious and crispy. The desserts were also very good and very appreciated as we don't eat dairy so we don't often get much dessert. Enjoy!

I've been meaning to review this place, I LOVED the food first and foremost I LOVED my waiter very tall guy even took the time out to write me out a list of things to buy for myself to cook at home and what stores would have them for me when I told him I wanted to be total vegan by next year I really appreciated that more than he would know. Even though the restaurant looks a little hidden it is very clean and nice inside would recommend and I will return!

Folks, bottom line, the food is good, but they do use MSG, and even if you ask for no MSG, it will still be there, so for those of you that are like me and allergic to MSG, don't take a chance. If you can handle MSG, then you will be pleasantly surprised with the high quality of taste, texture and presentation. There are a number of reviews below that discuss the religious aspects of the restaurant, but there is nothing odd about having a single plasma tv showing a lady discussing her beliefs about compassion and vegetarianism. It is is not that different than Buddhism. If you go to an Afghan restaurant, you will see TV's playing Al Jezeera shows, and if you go to an Indian restaurant, they will sometimes have Indian movies or cricket on the TV's. So what's the big deal? The sound level of the tv is so low that you can't even hear the lectures. The layout of the restaurant is nice. Its clean, and well branded. The menu's are clear. The prices are a little high for the quantity given, but I'm sure its hard work to put those meals together given the design and quality of the food. I was not a fan of their special sauce. They state the sauce is vegan, but it somehow has that mayo mixed with ketchup texture. I think they need to replace that sauce and stick with more authentic Asian sauces like peanut sauce or some spicy/sweet sauces. The crispy tofu was excellent with just soy sauce. The desserts are good for those that really like tofu. Otherwise, understand they are made from tofu and will have the tofu texture and slight taste. I liked the taste of each dish, but suffered from the MSG backlash later. If I had to guess, I would say their sauces have MSG versus their crispy batters. Their curry rice is awesome. Service is excellent, though I would highly suggest they hire more servers as there was only one very nice server who seemed to be overwhelmed with taking care of everyone, but never gave up or showed any hint of attitude.

Why is there not a Loving Hut up in Philly!? But anyway. Since my mom and I prefer to be vegetarian often, we try to find places that not only offers great food, but great vegetarian food as well. Loving Hut has got to be one of the few, few places that offer just that. When I was back home in FL, we went here and got to go. What we ordered: - Summer Rolls Deluxe, $5.95 - Lemongrass "Beef" Noodles, $7.95 - Pho, $6.95 - Bun "Bo" Hue, $7.95 - Avocado Smoothie, $5 All of which consisted of tofu, soy protein that shockingly resembles shrimp and beef (it gets me all the time, lol), and lots of vegetables. My favorite is the Lemongrass "Beef" Noodles. The "beef" and "fish" sauce was amaaaazing... I'm not too sure if it's healthier than the one at other Vietnamese restos, but I felt good eating it. The only bad points of our order was the Pho and Bun "Bo" Hue broths as well as the Avocado Smoothie. Both were tasty, but the broths were a bit too sweet for my taste. It could have been the sweetness from the vegetables, but my parents claimed it to be MSG. Not too sure. They were still definitely better than what a lot of places in Orlando has to offer though. The Avocado Smoothie was okay. Definitely not worth $5. Overall, I love Loving Hut. Good thing Philly has Loving Tree.

I can never go veggie, but if i ate food like this daily, i just might! MIGHT! I don't know why it's called Loving Hut, but if you are looking for tasty, healthy asian vegan dishes... well this is the place. Lots of fresh vegetables, tofu, bean curd, quinoa, and soy proteins. For those unaware of what those are, don't dismay, it all tastes great! Any of the dishes can easily be replaced with a meat dish, but the flavors work well with the veggie options. A few of my faves: Noble rice: Like crispy chicken with curry and lemongrass topping BBQ spring roll and noodles: LIke a grilled beef vermicelli Ocean Basket with Sweet Potato: Share this one it is huge. Battered veggie shrimp and sweet potatoes. The dipping sauce is great The people in here are friendly and sweet. There's lot of vegetarianism propaganda everywhere, which is fine. The crazy blond asian lady that sometimes shows up on the TV is kind of a trip though. All in all it's a nice place! Clean, healthy, and delicious. The lady asked if i liked everything, which i answered truthfully, "yes". To which she replies, "so do you think you will want to be vegetarian?" I smiled and nodded...and said no, but made me really consider it... hmmm...

My vegan meal was nice, but I did not enjoy it as much as similar Viet meals at other nearby locations. I want to try the Pho next time to see if I connect with that more. I did not care for the décor at all, it was very off for a restaurant.

    (3)
  • Danielle K.

Although all Loving Huts are fairly individualized in their menus, there is a sameness that seems to affect many of the locations--and that's not including the Supreme Master TV that often plays (the TV was off during our visit). They all have the same or similar bright, open look with a yellowy decor. My boyfriend and I stopped there for a quick lunch before we headed to the airport to catch our flight home. I ordered one of the combos with summer rolls and tofu while my boyfriend got the golden nuggets and a sandwich. The nuggets were hard to bite into and chew and had very little flavor. I didn't try the sandwich, but he said it had too much vegan mayo. My tofu was rather bland, and the rice had an odd flavor I just couldn't get past. The spring rolls were okay, but I've had better. My last few visits to Loving Huts have sadly been underwhelming. Another problem with this location is that parking is a nightmare. There's a narrow lane that goes back to the parking lot, and the entrance is very easy to miss as you're driving on Colonial. The lot is also rather small, but then the few times I've been here, the restaurant hasn't been very crowded. I can see why. There are better Vietnamese options on that stretch of Colonial and better vegan options less than half a mile away.

I love Loving Hut. I was in Orlando for two days and went twice. I really wish there was a place like this where I'm from. I tried the spring rolls, the golden tofu, the golden bbq (looks/tastes like beef terriaki), as far as appetizers. They were all amazing. For main courses I tried the bbq and spring roll noodles, which was excellent, and one of the combos with rice (also excellent). All items sold here are 100% vegan. The shop keeper and her husband are such hard workers. They stayed open for us even when we showed up ten minutes before closing (we didn't do it on purpose). They offer soups, salads, rice dishes, noodle dishes, "Western dishes" (vegan hamburger, hot dog, spaghetti, or club sandwiches), family-size platters to share, smoothies, fruit juices, non-alcoholic beer, and desserts. My friend and I ordered the vegan cheesecake and the vegan chocolate cake. She didn't like the cheesecake because it was on the salty side, so I ate that (and liked it) and she had the chocolate cake, which was phenomenal. Support vegan establishments. Eat here.

I seriously feel like blind folding my friends & family and tell them that this a "normal" restaurant just to see if they taste the difference. This was one of the best vegan meals I've had in Orlando in a LONG time. The staff was super friendly and greeted us right away. We were starving, so we ordered massive quantities of food: wonton soup, smiling dumplings, combo #2, and the healthy rice with pine nuts. Everything was delicious! Next time I want to try their pho because other yelpers keep raving about it :)

The food gets a full five stars. We ordered sushi, spring rolls and spaghetti and it was amazing food!!! Loved every last bit. I just wish the decor was more appealing. When we first arrived, we almost walked out except we had driven so far to try it out. Duct tape holding some chairs together. Though I will say the place was clean!

I adore Loving Hut! They have such delicious meat substitutes and so many wonderful vegan options to choose from. The Sunday buffet is $11.95 and includes various hot entrees, hot sides, salads, soup, and dessert. They have dine-in or take out the rest of the week, with great vegan options ranging from traditional Asian combos to smoothies to soup and sandwiches. I'm not a big fan of their desserts apart from fresh fruit, but the rest of the food has been great. The prices are very good and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant itself is not terribly pretty, but it's clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Loving Hut to any vegetarians, vegans, or omnivores who are open to a fully vegan meal.

So I decided to attend a cooking class the folks at Loving Hut was putting on. I could not believe the amount of free food they were giving out at the classes! But I understand now the strategy. Since the class I have been a fixture at Loving Hut. So revealing that every time i walk in they know exactly what I want--Fabulous Pho soup. It's like they took a meal and dumped it in brothy goodness. I must say this is like my favorite spot right now. If you ever get a chance to attend a cooking class--please do! I make a really great spinach tofu soup because of the class. Keep in mind that you will need to buy some of the seasonings and TVP at the store as you may have a very hard time finding it somewhere else.

Cutest place ever. I'm not vegan but I love the food here. And the staff are so nice, you forget that they are part of some off-beat religion and worship the supreme master. The BBQ Curry is AMAZING! This place will be a regular for us.

Love, love, love the Lovin Hut. Everything is vegan and they have a great variety of flavors so there are options for everyone! I haven't had something I didn't like. Prices are very reasonable. Employees are very nice. Highly recommend. :)

This was my first experience with The Loving Hut. My husband and I each got a Combo #1 with spring rolls, a strawberry-banana smoothie and a piece of chocolate cake. The combo plate was very good- consisted of a spring roll, some marinated tofu, and mixed vegetables. The smoothie was absolutely delicious- perfect, really. The chocolate cake, however, was very stale. I was disappointed because I had read previous reviews stating that the chocolate cake was great. I'm sure it is when it's fresh but mine was so stale I had to throw it away after taking one bite. The staff was very friendly and I liked the decor. I love anything that is vegan friendly, so I will def be back to try again!

One of my vegan go-to places whenever I visit Orlando. Very yummy, and definitely kid friendly (my BFF has two daughters--they enjoy it here). This time, we ordered 5 appetizers for lunch, all really yummy (though the textures of some of the meat replacement items grosses me out for being way too authentic). We ordered a rice dish and the Pho to go so we could have it later for dinner. LOVE the eco-friendly way they packaged the to go (no styrofoam, no plastic!), and especially loved the way they separated the parts of the Pho so the noodles wouldn't be bloated from soaking in broth all day. We heated it on the stove and ate it like it was fresh--delish! Though everything is very yummy, it's also pretty greasy, especially the appetizers. I don't mind a little bit of fried food once in a while, but maybe it could be drained a little better before it's served? Also, a little creeped out by Supreme Master TV--seems just a little bit culty to me (and I'm a card-carrying kool-aid drinking member of the "cult of veganism," so imagine what it's like for people not yet there....). Just saying.

despite the constant speaking of the grand master in the background, the staff doesn't really try to proselytize to you at all and they serve pretty delicious vegan food. Two things that stood out were the bun hue (think spicy beef noodle soup w/out the beef) and the vegan tempura. The bun hue was just as flavorful as the real thing and in fact more flavorful than the numerous crappy bowls of bun bo hue i've had in life. The vegan tempura were battered and fried enoki mushrooms which, as they sound, are delicious.

We visited this place late last year and fell in love with the food and the hosts. The food was great, the owner really wanted to provide the best possible food to the customers. However, we went there last week and were disappointed that the focus had completely changed. The prices had shot up and quantities were drastically reduced. The buffet was no longer there. For two adults and two kids, we spent more that $75 and were still hungry at the end of it. Hugely disappointed. Not planning on visiting the place again. Food was okay, but not worth the money, especially if it ends up you are still hungry at the end. They need to somehow strike a balance between what they can charge the customers for the food and the portions they provide.

We tried this place at the suggestion of a vegan friend we were visiting in Orlando. Being from Boulder, we had semi-high expectations for great vegan cuisine. This place rocked. We are not vegan, but we very much appreciate the vegan lifestyle, and love it when we find gorgeous and delicious meat-free dishes. It was September of 2010 that we were here, so I can't remember exactly what we ordered, but there was Pho, rice noodles/carrots and a lovely cappuccino with rose petals. The ladies who own the LovingHut were so sweet. Across the street is a wonderful asian market with all things imitation-meat. You name it, you can find it frozen and soy based. Awesome! We will return to give more love to the LovingHut when we are in Orlando. Definitely worth a try! The only thing that would have made it more perfect me would have been some organic sake or cocktails. I believe it was alcohol-free?

I went with my boyfriend for my birthday early dinner and it was delicious! This place recommended to me by my best friend and I was really excited to go. There is a lot to choose from on the menu. We shared an appetizer that was very tasty, deep fried but not overly greasy with some tasty relish dip. Each of us chose a combination platter that comes with a summer roll, which was a little dry but very tasty. Overall the food was wonderful and the service was friendly.

Love love love the Loving Hut!!! My sister works nearby & recommended it, otherwise never would have found this gem. All vegan menu and absolutely delicious, cant wait to go back! Had dumplings & nuggets for starters, then Combo 2 with summer roll, spring roll, rice and vegan bbq (i think it was seitan?) - will be going back & bringing friends to this spot. *Closed on TUESDAYS*

I came here twice during my 4 day visit to Orlando... If that doesn't imply how delicious their food is, i ask not sure what else does. My favorite was their bum hui soup/noodle. Simply delicious and super flavorful. Service it's friendly, ambiance is relaxing, and their boba drinks are amazing (love their thai ice tea). Anyway, this is a great vegan chain all together. Although each location serve different menu and they are independently owned.

As a vegetarian, I am so thrilled to find a place that meets my dietary requirements while not just being a bunch of rabbit food.... The food here is ALL VEGAN. You wouldn't be able to tell, that's how good it is. I love it here. they have a buffet (at least on the Sunday I went) To try a handful of their awesome dishes. The garlic eggplant with tofu is amazing. I will frequent this place. I love it.

I love going to Loving Hut on Sundays cause their buffet is awesome! It changes every week, but they usually have 6-7 hot items (including soup), plus salad and a desert. Both times i have been the food has been really good. One word of advice though, if you are set on trying their buffet, call first and make sure it is happen that day. I have show up a few times and no buffet.

It never fails to please! Although, not Vegan I am a Vegetarian and have introduced many friends to this interesting place and their great food! Something about the LOVING HUT allows you to stuff yourself feeling nearly GUILT FREE! It's quite a healthy alternative to many places on that part of Colonial, the food is always fresh and prepared in a fair amount of time. Some traditional "Western" options (Vegan) are offered but of course the specialty has the Asian flare! I can't really pick one item over another. But I do know the Vegan Flan is GREAT, not the consistency I've been accustomed to and the ice chips was an odd touch, but ended up to be very refreshing!

Good food at a reasonable price and nice atmosphere during quite times. My non- vegan friends love the food as well. Spicy, and flavorful! The atmosphere is clean and bright and the place can only accommodate small crowds. The service can be slow because there are only a few workers there but they are good people. It is a great family place on the weekends and a great quiet place to eat on the off hours. If you are bringing a large crowd, call and make plans! The catering is great as well.

Still not a bad place. Been back a few times and like the Raw heavenly salad, but I can see how this isn't everybodies cup of tea. Once had the BBQ and Noodle thing and it was okay, but the noodles were bland and not seasoned and still in hot water which was weird. My husband had combo 3 which has a spring roll, summer roll, a little fried tofu and green peppers, rice with veggies and some of the mock bbq. Its a little pricey for 8.95 but its one of the few places you can actually get vegan food in Orlando that's not contaminated with meat.

I tried this place at a vegetarian festival yesterday and have to say that I am in love. A vegetarian/vegan asian fusion that makes excellent summer rolls and yummy peanut sauce. I have not been to the actual restaurant, but I will be visiting this week. I am so excited!

Friendly staff, cheery atmosphere and tasty vegan food. I can't vouch how healthy the food "actually" is since a lot of things on the menu seems to be fried & they don't provide nutritional values. But I'm not complaining. They also have a buffet on Sundays. I think it's unfortunate that some people feel the need to criticize Loving Hut by calling them a "cult". This company does a lot of good. They try to be eco friendly, donate leftovers to local shelters and volunteered in Haiti after the earthquake hit. I support all that stuff so I must be in a cult too!

Loved it. Vegan wonderfulness and the staff could not have been friendlier. The only thing that worries me is that there's a definite potential for addiction. I did see some CDs for the Supreme Leader the other reviewers speak of but they were to the side of the register and weren't being "hawked". The lady who has helped me (a manager or owner) the times I've been is a total sweetheart.

I'm a mega fan of the Loving Hut. The food is really really good and makes you forget you are even eating vegan. The weekend buffet is great and always has an awesome variety of yummy vegan delights. The combo # 2 is my fave. Try it! :)

It's an okay place to eat. I prefer Garden Cafe for vegetarian asian cuisine. I have no idea what everyone is talking about regarding a cult. I've eaten there a couple of times and never noticed anything cultish. i noticed a tv on the wall playing something, but there was no audio. It's a pretty friendly place. The quality of food is fine. It's really not my first choice. I've tried one of the combos and that was all right. The aloha burger was okay (probably wouldn't order it again, although the sweet potato fries are actually sweet potato tempura, which was pretty yum). The buffet didn't have anything spectacular, but it was what it was. Overall, just based on food, I don't see myself eating there often, unless I need a change of pace. I'm glad it's there though. They need more vegetarian friendly places in Orlando, there are way too many chains and I rarely have time to cook. The parking can be a drag, but that's not their fault. I just wasn't too impressed with the food. They don't force you to watch anything or convert, so ignore anyone claiming that. It's hard enough being a vegetarian, but on top of it often it seems my dining choices are someplace with a sprout sandwich and 16-grain loaf. I'm a vegetarian, but it doesn't mean I'm a rabbit. I still want to EAT. I'd say I average going to Loving Hut twice a month, at least. They offer a large menu that I can order anything from, the service is friendly and the servings are large, with prices that won't break your wallet. Is it a vegetarian mecca with everything you could ever want? No. But if you want a large, varied selection with all sorts of options, they really have you covered. I've never left Loving Hut unhappy and I've been there many many times now. Last note: The whole cult thing with the Supreme Master can't be ignored. Look, I sometimes look over and watch the TV's and listen to what's up, but it's not like they're beating me over the head with the message. It's there, it's pretty benign and it's not going to hurt you or indoctrinate you. So they have some "club" where they all preach a positive message. Whatever. The food is great, service is friendly and quick, restaurant is clean, and offers vegetarians a plethora of options. What's not to like?

Enjoyed having lunch here. Only been once. The staff was very friendly, although you do order and pay at the counter up front. It was very fun and I was surprised how they made the food taste like meat even though it wasn't, they sure fooled me lol!! We had combo 2 and 3 and it was very delicious. I got the rose capaccino and it was a little strong but really liked the rose flavor. Their cheese cake is absolutely amazing : ) I only give it 4 stars because the outside of my cup was a little dirty but that happens in resturaunts sometimes...Looking forward to going back someday : ) I liked that they had vegetarian/vegan food at great prices, pretty good portion of food.... And I really liked that the atmosphere was very friendly. A lot of vegan places have this club only, dress a certain hipster way type cult feel to them and this place did not which I really appreciated.....

Yum! Love this place... and I'm not a vegetarian. I've tried a few things here: - "Heavenly Salad" (I think that's what it's called) - shredded cabbage, agar, crushed peanuts and a dressing... sooo refreshing and delicious! - Sweet and Sour soup - pretty good...pineapple and some very flavorful meat substitute pieces (sorry, not sure what else I would call them...) - Green shake - Waitress said it had kale in it, so I was kind of scared. But it was sweet and mostly tasted like banana...overall good. - Combo platter with fried rice, "ocean treasures" and something else - yummy...I really enjoyed the vaguely seafood-esque flavor of the "ocean treasures"...mmm. Everything else was good as well. I think there was also spring rolls - Kebab platter - Love the meat substitute on a stick. Very flavorful with some kind of sauce, delicious.

Very vegan, lots of chioces combining yummy fresh veg with crispy fried peudo-meat, wide choice of soups and some traditional dishes all prepared vegan, quinoa as an option to white or brown rice, all in all, a unique, healthy, and tasty meal.

for full review visit: tastychomps.blogspot.com… Inside the hut, all the chairs and tables are pure white, everything white and pure like a doctor's office or something. On the walls are photos of Leonardo Davinchi, Albert Einstein, and other figures with the saying "These smart, beautiful people are vegetarian, why aren't you?" Good point. I think I love meat just too much to let it go for enlightenment just yet. Looking over their menu, I saw that most of the items were pretty standard Vietnamese/Chinese fare with vegan twists, but some of them had strange names like happy dog and noble rice? I ordered the small golden tofu and a glass of lemon juice drink (da chanh - a Vietnamese form of lemonade). A small soup made with carrots and chayot ( I think its a type of melon), complimentary of the house arrived first. The golden tofu was fried with a tasty breading, similar to that found for fish sticks, oh so crunchy and good. The lemonade was refreshing and sweetly sour. Its also noted that the dishes are all arranged beautifully, which David chimes in is not unintentional in order to encourage more people to try it, because they might just like it afterwards. The food is pretty cheap and also pretty good here, minus the sometimes overly strong messages to convert to the Loving Hut religion and/or cult. Some people call it a cult but I don't see much diference between this and any other religion, they're just people trying to do good in the world.

I had heard of this place somewhere before, but I knew I had to stop in and check it out for myself after Orlando Weekly picked it as "best place for mind control with your soup." I was very intrigued by this title and after my visit I'm afraid it may be true, as I haven't been able to stop thinking about the place since I left. The location is a bit awkward and easy to miss among this bustling strip of E Colonial. But once you step inside this loving little hut you will immediately forget the world outside. I'm not sure what is more striking upon entering: the strangely sterile feel of the all-white interior or the overwhelming sense of welcoming begot by the cheerful staff. Either way, relax and don't let the creepiness factor overwhelm you, it will soon become very apparent that love is in the air... or on the airwaves, rather. The one television in the room is permanently tuned in to Supreme Master Televsion, where Supreme Master Ching Hai broadcasts her message of nobility, peace, planet-saving, and vegan lifestyle. Personally, I chose to face away from the television and focus my attention on the food. It took me a while to decide what to eat because the options were so plentiful and all appeared very appetizing. The staff were very patient with me and helpful in answering any questions I had about the menu. They were even kind enough to bring me a starter soup, which was simple and tasted quite good. Finally I decided to start with an order of the Summer Rolls. They came out looking exactly as pictured on the menu, choc full of veggies with a layer crunchy fried goodness. I dipped it in the sweet and tangy sauce, bit in, and was delighted with the range of flavors and textures. Very yummy! For my entree I ordered the BBQ and Spring Roll Noodles. Again, these came out looking exactly as pictured on the menu and tasting great as well. I wasn't sure what to expect from vegan bbq meat in this dish, but it came out as thinly sliced, slightly chewy, deliciously seasoned strips on a bed of glass noodles. Fresh romaine lettuce was a great edible garnish for this. The mini spring rolls were decent. And the light sauce that they bring for you to pour over the meal really brings it all together. I was too stuffed to finish, so I didn't order dessert. I wrapped my remaining food up in a to-go box and brought it home for later. I was a bit surprised when my meat-loving boyfriend broke into it later and devoured it to the last bite, but I really couldn't blame him. It was pretty darn delectable. The prices are pretty low, especially for the quality of the food. The only suggestion I would offer them is to nix the counter style service and opt for traditional waiting service. It seems like that setup would work a lot better and make people more likely to order more items. P.S. They also offer free vegan cooking classes. I signed up for the email list to be notified of the next class. If I attend I will be sure to update my review.

Call me crazy but I didn't like 1 thing on my plate...i had the buffet like most in the place it seems but everything had a weird taste to it. So, I guess I expect better flavor of the dishes at least. I was expecting like good viet food at the very least but i did not like the noodles or spring rolls at all. very dissapointing i really wanted to like this place...also i ordered the fresh squeezed lemonade (~2.50) no refills of course but i didnt taste any lemon! it just tasted like sugar water. finally, i expected at least a great salad on the buffet but it was just a sad assortment of iceberg (GASP!) lettuce with a few pieces of carrot..overall below average food.

Why love should be returned to The Loving Hut: 1.) According to the menu, every item here is vegan. Beyond that, every menu item is affordable unlike some other vegetarian/vegan places in the area that cater more to a crowd than a palate and charge outrageous prices. 2.) They have mastered their menu by thinking small but perfecting everything. Curious about trying something new? The menu is telling and every item we ordered looked identical to the picture -- even the delicious cold cappuccino beverage had its signature hearts etched into the "foam" and a dried rosebud to accompany it. That drink alone was beyond delicious. We tried: smiling dumplings (good, a little greasy), fried tofu (delicious), quinoa soup (love finding places that serve quinoa dishes, and Loving Hut has an entire menu accompaniment full of quinoa-included items). We also had the cheesecake which held its own pretty well, served with fresh chopped strawberries. 3.) The women that work there are sweet and completely understand the benefits of customer service and implement it. Kind, never overbearing, and willing to answer any question about any menu item (as opposed to the exchange I had recently at Pita Pit when I asked if the hummus pita was vegan and was told "I wouldn't know, I'm a carnivore" -- as if it wasn't his job to know). 4.) Modern, clean interior. The televisions on the walls play asian pro-veggie, pro-earth hippie propaganda and remind me of a Dr. Bronner's label brought to life. They even showcase recipes for you to try at home! 5.) And I could be wrong, but it appears they may have free wi-fi. Downsides? Far too many trays are given out with every menu item. By the end of the meal, we had accumulated something like 5 trays. I'd advise them to change that aspect, especially if they're cleaning the trays afterward. It could save them some water and I know in Florida that matters.

I'm so spoiled. I should be happy that after moving to Central Florida of all places, there are 3 vegetarian restaurants in walking distance from my apartment, but instead I give one of them 3 stars. Keep in mind that these vegetarian cult places are all over, under different names (Vegetarian House, Golden Lotus, etc) and their food is out of this world good. Loving Hut in Orlando is good- but compared to others, subpar. I got take out. I now have enough food in my apartment for 3 meals, since the servings are so large. (point in favor) I went with the Pho soup, BBQ appetizer, and lemongrass sauteed soy product entree. The entree is what prevents Loving Hut from getting a 4th star. I thought it was a lemongrass dish, not a tumeric dish. My tongue is numbed by tumeric right now. Someone didn't spice it properly. Also, what's up with the gooey gelatinous slime in the dish? escaped arrowroot? Yuck. The soup is phenomenal. Mild, balanced, with crisp veggies and perfect amount of cilantro. De-Vour. To tell the truth, I was starving and started eating the BBQ in the car. (yes I drove, I know, I didn't want to carry soup 10 blocks.) Had I not been so hungry, I would not have enjoyed the BBQ the way I did, but maybe that's because.... I am a vegetarian now for pretty much 22 years, and... BBQ isn't my thing. :) Next time I'll get the spring rolls. Notice I said next time. I will absolutely go here again, and you should, too. Even if it's just for that soup. The staff is lovely, and I'm sure that something else on the menu will satisfy my snobby, Bay Area standards. Just stay away from that lemongrass entree, whatever you do. I'm going to take mine over to the nearest dog park tomorrow morning.

The Loving Hut's interior is clean, modern, and comfortable. The employees are extremely sweet and friendly. I have to say I was very impressed with the food. I had the vegetable dumplings for appetizer. Unlike Garden Cafe, (where I said the dumplings weren't nearly as good as their pork counterparts), this was actually good! The szechuan sauce they used had a different taste to it and was a little bit spicy. For my meal, I had the BBQ Spring roll noodles. It really pleased me. The noodles were soft, the bbq was juicy, and the spring rolls delicious. It comes with a sauce to soften up the noodles and add to the flavor. They also have some delicious drinks like a berry smoothies and a coconut pina colada thing. I wouldn't recommend the flan. I tried some, I didn't like it too much. We were, however, touched by the friendly atmosphere and healthy/tasty organic food. It's also kinda entertaining and funny to watch the nonstop propaganda running on the TV. There is someone called the supreme master apparently and it's some sort of organic/vegan fanatic group. The TV will shoot messages at you in like 30 different languages. I personally would prefer if they put sportscenter on or something, but it's kinda cool. If you want good Asian vegetarian food, I only know of two places, the Loving Hut on E Colonial and the Garden Cafe on W Colonial. Out of the two, Loving Hut is definitely better.

I revisited Loving Hut during the week (when they offer the regular menu). I immensely enjoyed my combo meal (fried rice, BBQ meat, egg roll, spring roll). Unfortunately I don't live close to Loving Hut - I want to try the other items on their menu.

Went to Loving Hut on a recent trip to Orlando. Shared the Spring Rolls, which were good although the sauce it came with wasn't too good, so I ate them plain. I got a vegetable soup and that was probably the highlight of my dinner! For my main dish I got the fried rice which originally comes with tofu, which I don't eat, I had seen gluten listed in another dish so I asked the waitress if I could have that instead but she said they don't have it but I can have TVP, I asked if there was soy in it and she said no. Well, by my reaction the next day (I'm basically soy intolerant) there was definitely soy in it, I mentioned it to a friend and she said TVP always comes from soy..so it's pretty annoying that the waitress didn't know. I also asked for no mushrooms but there were still mushrooms in my food and the rice, the flavor was great but it was really um..chewy. My friend got the sweet and sour dish and he liked that. For dessert, all I wanted was the cookie and somehow she brought out chocolate cake with ice cream..not sure how cookie and cake sound the same other than them both having the letter C..my friend felt bad that she made it and so he ate it and she brought me my cookie (which was yummy btw). I also had tea and when I asked for more hot water she said ok but 15 minutes went by and she didn't bring it out..we were the only people there at this point..we reminded her and then she brought it out.

Food was okay but I lost my appetite when I heard rats in the ceiling (very loud and obvious) above us in broad daylight. It was very hard to my finish my meal after that. I will not ever come back. EVER. Completely grossed out.

As a devout omnivore, my excursions in veganism are purely scientific: will I still enjoy a dish if the meat were replaced by a vegetarian substitute made to taste like the actual meat? At Loving Hut, I'm happy to say they succeed. The BBQ & Spring Roll Noodles tastes very much like the meat vermicellis I frequently order at other Viet-Town establishments. Appetizers are also quite good, sometimes a little weird (Sea Wonder), but everything about Loving Hut is at least "a little weird." The Thai Iced Tea is good, too, but a little expensive, even for Thai Iced Tea standards. The staff was extremely friendly and the interior is very... efficient. White tables are closely lined up in a very orderly style, which might lead to playing footsie with your neighbors. And then there is the obligatory mention of the widescreen television tuned to "The Supreme Master." Anyone with an appreciation for anything different will surely find something to remember here.

It's great to have an all-vegetarian SE Asian place in Orlando. The non-vegetarian member of our party thought that the dishes that are usually made with fish sauce tasted pretty close to the traditional thing, though without any fish-saucy aftertaste. We had the BBQ and spring roll noodles (hard to tell these were meat-free), and the seven sea delight (fried tofu with seaweed and spices). They brought us some soup as an appetizer, which we were not expecting-I assume it was included with the meal. We took the previous Yelper's advice and tried the pickle lime drink, which was really good- I think "pickle lime" means kumquat, or at least that was what the garnish was :) Portion sizes were on the small side- this would be a good place for a light lunch or dinner. We didn't order dessert or appetizer. (FYI: Loving Hut is run by a religious/philosophical group whose goal is apparently to make the world a better place through vegetarianism. This is a 'heads-up' so you aren't weirded out by the TVs running videos of the group leader/guru's poetry and philosophical sayings. The staff don't try to convert us or anything-they were perfectly nice- but we found it a bit odd. We did look them up online & couldn't find anything shady about them. This is not to detract from the food! They seem more like organized hippies than anything else...)

Man, I wish I lived closer to this place cuz I really enjoyed the concept. A small vegetarian buffet with tasty food, I'm all in!! The place is tiny and parking is a pain but the food was really good and flavorful. The buffet was always fresh and well stocked and there wasn't anything that I tried that I didn't like. I'm not even a vegetarian but I like to eat healthy if I have the opportunity and I would go here regularly if I lived closer to the downtown area. I would definitely recommend this place, it's a good value and a cute little restaurant.

stopped by on a sunday around 4 pm. they have an all-you-can-eat vegan buffet ($9.95) on sundays, but as we were only visiting Orlando and could only eat here once, i wanted to try their vietnamese noodle soup dishes (pho or bun hue). the buffet is more traditional asian-fusion veg fare (stir-fry dishes over rice etc.) first thing i noticed was how crowded it was and how clean as well. i agree with other yelpers that it has an almost sterile feel to it. the chairs and tables are all white. pho and bun hue (traditionally called bun bo hue---bo is beef/cow in vietnamese) are both beef broth based soups so i was very curious to see how their vegan version would taste. i was SHOCKED how close in taste the bun hue ($7.95) is. a little bit more lemongrass and i probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. the soup was very tasty. i highly recommend it. the soup has bits of imitation beef slices and i think small chunks of fried tofu. i could do without the fried tofu and would prefer regular tofu, but that's just my preference because i hate fried tofu---especially in soups. the crusty fried skin just soaks up the soup and becomes soggy. i was excited to see quinoa dishes offered as well. anyway, eat here. if i lived in Orlando, I'd be here weekly as i think the clientele normally is. it seems like a close-knit community. the service and owner are really friendly. and i did see the SupereMasterTV.com news on loop on all the tvs but i didn't feel like it was cultish--just different. it's a very relaxed, easy going atmosphere with great food. i've never seen vegan vietnamese food done so well.

Let me start by saying, I've been vegan for 10+ years so I know what to expect when I go out to eat. I have eaten here about 4 times and don't plan to again. I want to like the food here so bad but I just never do. Yesterday I ordered the Ocean Basket made with battered and fried mock shrimp, sweet potatoes, and a red cabbage "salad" I guess. The mock shrimp was flat out awful! The red cabbage was just raw shredded cabbage with some kind of red vinegar dressing. The sweet potatoes and the dipping sauce were good but way over battered. I even got chocolate cake and ice cream thinking how can you go wrong. Terrible! No frosting on the cake, and the ice cream had some kind of weird herb flavor. It's not that hard to make good vegan food. I think here they just try too hard in all the wrong places. I think the staff is very nice and I want to support businesses that cater to vegans but the food is just not good!

I actually really like this place despite the televisions trying to brainwash us as we eat. The staff is super friendly and the food is pretty good. I love the spring/summer rolls. I think they put potato chips in them and boy, do those chips make a difference! My cousin and I were obsessed with them for a while. I usually get a combo. The fried rice is sometimes too salty but most of the time it's good to go. You should definitely try this place out, it's such a unique and different environment and the food is pretty good. It's all vegan!

I am not a vegan, and when my sister suggested Loving Hut and said it was vegan, I was not excited. I was so surprised at how yummy the food was here. The raw salad is my FAVORITE! The veggie dumplings are yummy too. I would totally go back!

The Loving Hut is a Vegan restaurant located on East Colonial Drive in Orlando. It's an interesting little place that is very clean almost to the point of being sterile, with white walls, tables, and chairs. I had the vegan combo #1 which was really good. While waiting for my take out order, the waitress gave me a free cup of soup.. Everyone that works there is very friendly and their menu is pretty extensive. The whole Supreme Leader thing is pretty weird, but the food is good. If you're in the mood for vegan/veggie food, give the Loving Hut a try.

Love the food. I hate the cult behind it. Google Loving Hut and cult. Defiantly creepy. The cooking classes are the hook into the supreme master. Look it up suprememaster.tv

it's easy to miss the tiny parking entrance, so go slow.. I wouldn't order the golden nuggets again as they were tough and chewy. But my "Saintly Stir Fry" was pretty good. i like this green vegetable they have in the noodles that taste like cucumber, squash and celery's cousin. the summer roll was surprisingly good and the BBQ meat in my friend's combo meal almost tasted like the real deal! on a side note, the tv playing religious messages in every language possible was.... interesting.

Visited on Sunday for the Vegan Buffet, which is from 3 - 9 on Sundays. The outside of the restaurant is pretty plain but the inside is very nicely decorated, the ambience is laid back and friendly and the staff is super nice. I usually hate buffets but the food was just spectacular! There was a pita station, pasta, a to-die-for eggplant dish, rice that is so good I told my husband that there must be something unhealthy in it, but I doubt it; these folks take their veganism seriously. My favorite was the crispy chick peas. My kids who are picky eaters all ate without complaint and also loved the cookies. We ordered mango shakes, which where were quite tasty. We will return very soon.

The food was good and I was told they would soon be expanding their menu- the options were great and they had several kid friendly choices such as sweet potato fries, nuggets, and happy dogs (corn dogs). All of the workers are vegan although I think they may be part of a religious cult- flat screen TV's streamed information (and misinformation) about veganism, vegan and vegetarian were interchangeable, and they kept talking about the supreme grand master as being the path to heaven. All of the beer is non alcoholic as they believe in prohibition. As we were leaving my husband casually asked them what the ice cream was made out of and they said "whipped cream" so we're not sure it was actually vegan though I've emailed them to ask.

I LOVE this place. The food is really good. My favorites are the bbq combo--I believe it's the number 2 combo, and the king cha cha. It's a great place for kids too. They have kid friendly foods such as nuggets. It's worth a try, even if you're a meat eater. It all tastes delicious!

For a restaurant that a a fully vegan menu they have endless options! I love how they basically replicate all your Asian cuisine dishes, but fully vegan. The flavors are awesome and the vegan cheesecake is so amazing it's a must try for everyone!

  • Andi P.

With only four other covers and two take away orders waiting I just don't see why the wait. .

Eat here.

  • Gaby S.

Got take-out combo#2 for lunch today. Upon opening box and moving meat, 3-4 little flies came out of the box. First and last time trying this place. Disgusting!

Cute place and different from all others. Sometimes tough to park, but worth it. Try a smoothie with your meal. The dumplings are super yummy as an app.

Bun Hue is one of the best pho style soups I have had. I love the heat and the flavor with the soup can't ask for much better. Supreme Master Television on the TVs lol

Very flavorful with some kind of sauce, delicious.

for full review visit: tastychomps.blogspot.com… Inside the hut, all the chairs and tables are pure white, everything white and pure like a doctor's office or something.

Food was okay but I lost my appetite when I heard rats in the ceiling (very loud and obvious) above us in broad daylight. It was very hard to my finish my meal after that. I will not ever come back. EVER. Completely grossed out.

Food was excellent! We started out the only ones in the place, by the time we left there were 5 more tables. We will be back!

I liked their food. I ordered the combo #2 to try a lot of different kinds of food. But, over all, I have tryed better. Like Ethos Vegan Kitchen.

stopped by on a sunday around 4 pm. they have an all-you-can-eat vegan buffet ($9.95) on sundays, but as we were only visiting Orlando and could only eat here once, i wanted to try their vietnamese noodle soup dishes (pho or bun hue). the buffet is more traditional asian-fusion veg fare (stir-fry dishes over rice etc.) first thing i noticed was how crowded it was and how clean as well. i agree with other yelpers that it has an almost sterile feel to it. the chairs and tables are all white. pho and bun hue (traditionally called bun bo hue---bo is beef/cow in vietnamese) are both beef broth based soups so i was very curious to see how their vegan version would taste. i was SHOCKED how close in taste the bun hue ($7.95) is. a little bit more lemongrass and i probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. the soup was very tasty. i highly recommend it. the soup has bits of imitation beef slices and i think small chunks of fried tofu. i could do without the fried tofu and would prefer regular tofu, but that's just my preference because i hate fried tofu---especially in soups. the crusty fried skin just soaks up the soup and becomes soggy. i was excited to see quinoa dishes offered as well. anyway, eat here. if i lived in Orlando, I'd be here weekly as i think the clientele normally is. it seems like a close-knit community. the service and owner are really friendly. and i did see the SupereMasterTV.com news on loop on all the tvs but i didn't feel like it was cultish--just different. it's a very relaxed, easy going atmosphere with great food. i've never seen vegan vietnamese food done so well.
