Had to increase from 4 stars to 5 stars. I've been back a few times, and I always get the "Special" if one is available. The special frequently changes, and it makes coming back to this truck always a surprise. Most frequently it is a grilled chicken dish with variations on the herbs/spices/sauces and carb accompaniment (I think quinoa is what they had last time). It's been some of the best stuff I've eaten lately. Today I was in for a surprise: they had risotto with a fried egg, diced sausage, garlic, and truffle glaze. Wow. Prep time took a little longer than normal, but it was completely worth it. I think this may be the best food truck in Orlando because of their: 1) Consistent quality of their main items, 2) Speed of preparation, 3) Gracious portion of food for what you pay, and 4) Constant rotation of Specials which are unique gourmet meals. I think more food trucks need to learn from these qualities and emulate them. Louie's Bistro really does seem like a restaurant on wheels rather than a specialized vendor of one type of food. See my original (previous) review for descriptions of more of their specific items.

We ate here during the Food Truck Bazaar in Casselberry. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Service was friendly and quick, very short wait. The food was amazing, I can't wait to make it back to try some other options.

It took me about 3 years to finally try their pulled pork bbq sandwich. It is freaking amazing. EVERYTHING they make is amazing! It is seldom that I see this truck and any other truck near by and don't pick ol Louie Louie as the winner. You can go elsewhere....but you are a FOOL! I'm sorry, that was rude. You are just an idiot.

Sweet plantain brulee burger was so amazing! Service was a little slow but it's understandable considering the amount of people at Tasty Tuesdays. I look forward to trying more of their items.

Ordered from Louie's Bistro for the first time last night. I had the grilled veggie sandwich, and it was amazing. It had arugula, yellow squash, onions, yummy cheese and a balsamic glaze maybe? Whatever it was, it was crazy good. My sandwich fell apart fast, so be sure to grab a fork. I was a little annoyed with the wait. There was no line when I ordered, and I was told 5 minutes. I think someone that ordered after me ended up getting my food, so I had to wait a bit longer. Not a big deal, but my husband went to another truck with a long line and was almost done eating before I got my food.

Clearly, Orlando lacks real "foodies". Went to this food truck at the Fashion Square Mall in Orlando. The menu had me.....everything sounded fantastic! EVERTHING! But that was it. There was a long line (That's always a good sign right?) So after waiting about 15 min. in line to order, it was another 20 min. to get the food. So about 10 min into waiting I asked if I could add or change something. She said "no it's too late your food is just about done" OK well another 20 min. went by making the wait over 30 min. and still no food. Then the food came. I was soooo excited to try it. We order 4 dishes for 2 of us just because everything sounded good. The filet mignon sandwich w/ bernaise sounded delish. But why ask how I want it cooked if it's going to come out well done? Yuck. Meat is not meant to be eaten well done. And it was pieces of meat. Not an actual steak sandwich. Very misleading. The fries that came with it tasted like the distgusting overly crunchy fries from Burger King. Ugh. The cajun chicken over mac and cheese was the most boring thing I've ever had. How is Cajun chicken and mac and cheese tasteless and boring? I don't know but it was. I heard another couple say they paid almost $30 for 2 dishes and 2 sodas and for that they could eat in a restaurant and not have to stand and wait then sit on the curb and eat. I agree. Overpriced for what you got.

My review for Louie's Bistro pretty much is an echo of Colleen's, though I'm giving it an extra star since I really liked the food. Like Colleen, I also had the truck's quesadillas and French fries. Both were great! The quesadillas were cooked to perfection and the fries were just as Colleen mentioned ... they had that crispy outer layer, which I really like. It was a pleasant surprise. I'd have to try some more food from this truck in order to give it 5 stars, I think. It definitely has the potential, in my opinion. Just need to make sure at some point in the future. The quesadillas weren't the best I've ever had, but I definitely did eat every last crumb. I believe that they cost $8 (with the fries included). Pretty reasonable. If I remember correctly, most items that the truck serves are at around that price. The truck usually can be found at food truck events, though I haven't really researched its full schedule or heard about it on its own (i.e. not at food truck events). I've seen it at the Winter Park Food Truck Stop and a few other places. When I had the quesadillas, the truck was at the church near the intersection of Rangeline Road and E.E. Williamson in Longwood for the food truck event that takes place on the 3rd Monday of each month.

Stopped by Louies yesterday as they were at the Homespun Chic Marketplace event. I was excited to try this truck as I have never had the opportunity before. I saw someone walking around with the Chicken quesadilla with bistro fries and that caught my eye so even with so many good items listen, I went with the quesadilla. It was shredded chicken which was great. The cheese was pretty good but I do wish it came with a side of salsa or instead of the chipotle sauce, maybe some guac but I know that is all personal preference. I did request no drizzle but they were busy and overlooked me request, they did notice it as I approached and said they would have another one up in a minute but I just went with it. It did give it some additional flavor so that was good. The fries are a different type, they have that crispy, spiced top layer which have great flavor. Overall an A-OK lunch for a great price but I do want to try their other items to get a full range of their offerings!

Filet Mignon sandwich? Yes please! Definitely not for the healthy heart. The bread was soft but not soggy, the filet was tender and cooked just right, the sauce was creamy with mushrooms and came with hot cooked fries for that extra crunch!

Louie's Bistro on the Run is by far on of the top 3 trucks in the area that constantly delivers delicious and wonderful food. Louie and his wife are very nice and engage the customers. They have an ever-changing menu that has not enough words to describe it. I often ask myself "how in the hell does food this good and you'd expect to see at an expensive 5-star restaurant come off a food truck?" Well the answer is an amazing chef with talent and drive. The truck is always clean, and well designed. They always have a line when they are at my workplace. I always look forward to when they come to serve us. If you ever get the chance to try some of his food, you have to!

Almost every Friday I get to treat myself to a lunch from Louies Bistro truck. My office has become a regular Friday stop on their route, I have had the Asian chicken wings, bistro steak, chicken quesadilla, lamb pita and the roasted turkey /w broccoli salad. Just don't ask me which is my favorite, I liked everything I have tried. The price is reasonable, after all you are getting a great lunch for not much more than you would spend at a fast food chain. You can stand there and watch them prepare your meal and chat for a moment with the other people in line, but not for very long, they are pretty quick to get your food to you, piping hot and delicious. The most expensive item on the menu is the duck confit at $12.00. I have heard that the duck is good, just not something I want to eat sitting at my desk. See you at the truck!

Oh, Louies. Why did you have to pull into my life out in front of Orlando Brewing that one fateful afternoon with your French bistro steak tips au poivre? Food truck + au poivre = win. This is one of two food trucks that I follow/stalk on Twitter now.

Great food! Best quesedilla that I've ever had! Their fries were great too, and they were generous with them on my order. I think I spent only about $7 and a buck for a water. I see Colleen's point about maybe wanting some other stuff on the quesedillas, but those aren't things that I usually use anyway. I would just put some sour cream on them, but they drizzled something tasty that was better than the standard sour cream, IMHO. My lady had something like a PITA with lamb in it. It was really great, she enjoyed it, and I know this because I didn't get a taste (I always get a taste)! I haven't gotten around to enjoying a lot of food trucks (mainly because I buy Groupons for them and then they close down before I can use them), but if I catch them again at a food truck baazaar or the like, I'd be hard pressed not to try them again!

Louie's Bistro is not an easy truck for me to access. It's usually located about 45 minutes northwest from where I live. I happened to get lucky one day and find them at the Edgewood Farmers Market. First time we met we gave each other a huge hug. Understand, we had never met, but the Twitter world brings people together. Plus, Louis is Latino, so it was an instant connection. I went straight for the good stuff. Duck Confit with Carrots and Potatoes. This fell off the bone. It was amazing. Baby Girl and I tore into this dish in a second. Proof of a true gourmet food truck. California Grilled Chicken Quesadilla with Chipotle lime cream. Louis made these for Baby Girl and he was concerned that the spice was too much for her. Many people know @xobejm is now being more adventurous with her food and she loved these. We were lucky enough to share some with @Cafecocoamo as well so they could taste how good the food was. Louis, thank you so much for the amazing food. We hope to see you soon and try all your other dishes. UN GRAN ABRAZO!!

Louies Bistro is a solid food truck. We've had several things on the menu including tacos, po-boys, and the quesadilla. We've only experienced Louies at FAVO events either on third Thursdays or first Fridays. Sounds like they do make the rounds around town though. The food is good and they make it to order fairly fast. We are definitely fans!

Awesome food and great business owners. I love doing events with Louies Bistro because I know I'll get the chance to eat some delicious food :) If the truck is in your area, check them out! Clean truck - great food - great people!

We booked Louie's Bistro a month in advance to come to my company and serve lunch to 300 employees. When he hadn't shown up by the time we agreed upon we called him and he said he had staffing issues and wasn't going to be able to make it. He then went on to talk about how expensive it was to run a food truck. I was extremely turned off by his unprofessional behavior. His food may be good but he's not going to make any money if he doesn't get it together.

What a treat! Excellent food choices and prices. Worth the wait in a food truck line. We will be returning and following. Miami spicy shrimp sandwich and bistro fries....yum yum.

Louies Bistro offers a great menu with awesome food. I just had the pleasure of eating their beef skewer and rice with soy sauce. It was delightful. Can't wait to have some more of their delish food at Oviedo Mall on Nov 13th. See you there.

Found this truck at Tasty Tuesdays a while back. Tried their duck confit sandwich. Very tasty duck that is slow cooked in its own fat is always delicious, top that with a onion jam & some julienne carrots. Its pricer then most of the items they offer but well worth it! They also go to the Combat City outdoors on Saturdays. Here we tried their chicken tacos which were very tasty and delicious. Another dont miss item is their bbq pork sandwich it is one of their favorites.
