I heart Cuban food so much. And Los Autenticos did not disappoint. I honestly can't wait to go back and try more awesome food! Service was super friendly. I visited late in the afternoon, so unfortunately the ropa vieja was ALL GONE (*tear*). I got the pork with rice and beans and maduros. And café con leche to accompany it. The pork was slightly salty but oh so good. It was cooked with onions which I didn't expect but were easy enough to shove aside and gave the meat a nice flavor. Rice and beans were standard. Maduros were great. I love ordering them since it feels like I'm getting dessert with my meal! The owner/manager asked me (BY NAME!) how my meal was. You don't get any better customer service than that! Ropa vieja - I'm coming back for you soon!

Stopped in here for a Cuban cafe con leche, and left with a Traditional Cuban Sandwich and Fried Yuca. I swore I wasn't going to touch it until I got home. Maybe just one bite.... Bam, half of its gone now. Oh boy, that was some gooood memory recall tasty stuff! Highly recommend the Cuban Sandwich! Loaded with Ham, Cheese, Pork and some pickles and mustard too. Oh, and the coffee! Get yourself some of that.

Awesome foods. I like Cuban foods. All are testy and cheap cost. Nice staff and excellent services also.

I have been coming to this place for close to 5 years now. My wife stumbled on to this place when we were staying up the road in an apartment while house hunting. She brought be a Cuban sandwich and some black bean soup. I will have to say that is all I have ever eaten here since they have one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have had outside of Miami. I was in the mood for one of their Cuban sandwiches and Black bean soup and decided to actually go dine there since up until now my wife has always gotten everything to go and brought it to me. Now that I have been there and seen what some of the others in the place were eating, I am looking forward to sampling the other items on the menu. If you have not been here before... Go check it out!

Brand new to town, just moved, and wanted to find some good Cuban food - coming from Daytona, where there is none, it was on the top of my list! I found this place on Yelp, and what a win that was. My mom (visiting from out of state) and a friend and I went for early dinner, mid-week. CC is an unassuming little place, cute on the inside, no frills (just the way I like), with great food. I had pulled pork, black beans and rice, and tostones - EXACTLY the way I wanted it. Totally hit the spot. We also found out while we were there that they deliver (within a 4 mile radius) with a minimum of a mere $8. AND THEY HAVE BREAKFAST! I may have found a new favorite little place. Fantastic. :)

After a terrible fall out with my local Dunkin Donuts, I found myself without a go-to coffee place in the mornings before painful law school classes. I know realize the true meaning of "with every end there is a beginning". Before I get to the sandwiches, which are amazing, let me rap about the coffee for a minute. It is seriously unbelievable. Not a minute trace of burnt anywhere in its flavors. Every cup is brewed fresh with Cafe Bustelo Supreme, and perfectly balanced against steamed milk. In terms of food, both the Lechon and the Cuban sandwiches are scrumptious. From the meats to the bread, they really put it together in that department. Also, the quesitos at the front are delicious and delivered weekly as they are homemade. And lastly, it should be mentioned that the people who run this cafe are absolutely some of the nicest folks around. Always a big smile to go with every cup of coffee...nice touch if you ask me!

Good food and service, I'll go back for the hot and fresh Cuban.

Autenticos Sandwiches is probably my favorite place in Orlando to get Cuban sandwiches. Their sandwiches are big, authentic, personal, and delicious. I LOVE their Pan Con Lechon. It comes overflowing with some juicy and tender pork. If you get it "especial," you'll get lettuce, tomato, cooked onions, and mayo. I highly recommend it. They also have breakfast. Delicious breakfast. In the pasteles category, they usually have pasteles de queso, guayaba, y queso/guayaba along with other desserts. It's located in the unassuming Yates Plaza on Colonial just west of Goldenrod. The staff are warm, kind, and friendly. I highly recommend to go there for a breakfast or lunch. The sandwiches are wonderful. They close at 5 PM everyday except they close at 2 PM on Sundays.

I ordered a regular Cuban sandwich and french fries and I have to admit, the wait was well worth it. Each sandwich is made to order right then and there. Outstanding, tender meat, the right amount of pickle and mustard and the bread. it's the bread that makes the Cuban and this place really delivers. Everything was so fresh and hot and delicious. Will definitely go back again and again.

I went there for lunch and it was out of this world. I got a Cuban Regular with french and it was the BEST Cuban I have ever eaten. The meat simply melts in your mouth. The bread was fresh and tasted as if it were straight from the oven. The french fries were the typed you would find at a state fair. FRESH and HOT!!!! I than got a Caramel frappuccino to go. I will no longer buy a frappuccino from the large coffee establishments when I know how great they are at Los Autenticos Sandwich: Cuban Cafe. I highly suggest that you give this place a try. IT IS FANTASTIC!!!!

My boyfriend and I ate at this place a few months ago. I have been trying to find a nice cuban restaurant to go to. However I was not too pleased. I ordered white rice black beans and chicken. It did not have any flavor what so ever. I was really disappointed. I have been eating Cuban food all my life and can tell you it was not good. My boyfriend got the Cuban sandwich and it tasted ok. He asked to get ham croquettes instead when we got home we saw that they gave us chicken croquettes. They tasted horrible!! I don't know how they call them selves authentic. I hope to soon find a good Cuban restaurant in Orlando. I will never go to this place again.

i'm re-writing this review, strictly based on how classy the owner/management is...(and by filthy facilities, i didn't mean the restaurant, i just meant the bathrooms, my apologies for the misunderstanding) i will definitaly return...and i would always recommend. thank you for your kind message!

Me and a friend of mine were starving for a Cuban sandwich. We pulled this place up on our iPhones and thought we'd check it out due to it's nearby location. This place served the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. I forgot the name of our sandwiches but if you look at the printed sit down menu, its the 2 sandwiches that have pictures. Only these have pics. They were so good especially with the house sauce the provide. I also had a Vanilla flan for dessert and it was very tasty too. You should definitely check it put if you're craving some authentic Cuban sandwiches!

Love the food, it feels like I'm back home whenever I come here. The food comes out pretty quickly and the service is great. Perfect place to grab a quick steak for lunch and head back to work.

This is my favorite Cuban cafe. Everything on the menu is amazing and the service is great. This is Orlando's best cafe! I highly recommend their sandwiches above any restaurant in Orlando.

  • Grisel V.

Great experience with awesome food. We had sandwiches, the pork sandwich was very tasty, the flan was awesome. They were quick, but no table service.

  • Angel G.

Food and service were very good. We ordered a Classic Cuban sandwich, Carne Frita & Ropa Vieja along with the customary plates of rice & black beans along with Maduros & Tostones. Everything was very good and the Carne Frita was just delicious! Must add this place to your must food places to eat when you are in the Orlando area!

  • Daniel J.

Had breakfast - eggs, mixed w/ ham, a piece of bread, and small coffee. That food was ok, nothing extraordinary stood. The Cuban coffee was good. Need some more right now....the guys behind the counter provided great service. Its a small corner suite in a plaza. Space is limited. I would come back again and try something different. Ultimately for this experience I would give 3.5 stars.

  • Michelle M. C.

Love this place. Not only cuban food. Has Puerto Rican and dominican entrees as well. Greta service and food. They do take a while preparing the food but at least you know it's fresh.

Amazing Food! First time I went in I ordered rice, beans, pernil & sweet plantains! Impressively Fantastic! & then I had a cortadito-WOW! So good & perfect w/o having to say anything! It's even sweetened to perfection! I came back in town & had the craving to go back & ordered the mofongo & pernil! Absolute Best Mofongo so far! The food is fresh & hot! U can get ur normal fountain drinks or enjoy some Spanish varieties like my fav Jupina to compliment ur meal! & of course I also ordered the delicious cortadito! Mmmm coffee bliss! Location is like a whole in the wall place but w/ Top Notch food, great customer service, & the best coffee! I even bought the coffee for home!!! It's Excellent!!! I do prefer the whole beans but settled for the ground coffee this time, which I'm sure will still b tasty! I wish this place was closer to me, I'm sure they would get to know me cuz I'd be in here ALL the time!

  • Sarah G.

Fantastic Cuban sandwiches and pulled pork. We got combos which came with delicious sides (we got tostones, yellow rice with gandules, black beans and a guava pastry), and a choice of a fun selection of Cuban sodas and fresh fruit juices or smoothies (the mango juice was AMAZING!) We wish we were locals so we could eat here on a regular basis.

  • Katherine L.

What a wonderful cafe! I went there with a friend and enjoyed every single bite! We has the Classic Cuban, Tripleta and plantains. 5 out of 5 would recommend! A must try is the Passion Fruit Juice, j'adore!

  • Jordan O.

Awesome and cheap Cuban food. Clearly authentic style and done with time and effort put into everything. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was humongous and loaded with just the right amount if toppings. It also came with a heaping portion of plantain chips that were clearly made fresh to order and delicious. Also, the lady working the counter (I think she's an owner) made me try the house made hot sauce and holy cow was it tasty. I ended up using as much of it as I could handle. It was a little on the hot side for me, but flavorful enough to be worth it. I cannot wait to go back and try more stuff to see if everything is as good.

    (5)
  • David R.

When it comes to Cuban sandwiches, I love this place. The servings are big and you get a side of plantain chips which are really yummy, too. You would assume that something that has just a few ingredients would be fairly consistent throughout restaurants, but not so. There is a huge difference and Los Autenticos does not disappoint. Go to the small, but full of taste, restaurant if you want a really good Cuban Sandwich.

  • Zahyra G.

Once again Yelp didn't disappoint. LoOoVed the mofongo with the chicken broth and fried pork! Just like if I was back in my little island of Puerto Rico. The flan was to dye for! Wish we lived closer so we could come more often. Coming back... a must!

We had some nice fresh made food. I had the tripleta, my wife the mofongo with fried pork. Flavorful and generous portions.

This is truly a place where it is quality over quantity. I ordered the sandwhich combo of a Tripleta, rice and black beans, and Kola Champagne and my spouse got the same sandwhich combo except with Maduros and coco rico. The rice and beans, the Maduros, and the sauces they sent where delicious! The sandwiches didn't have as much meat as we have had in other tripletas (CoCo Bongos at downtown Disney is still the reigning champ for us when it comes to Cuban sandwiches and tripletas). I had ordered the cappuccino and while it tasted great, it was lukewarm and barely even filled half the small coffee cup (see picture). Definitely not worth the price. All in all we were satisfied with our meals, but I doubt we'll be dining here in the future.

So far so good. Came for coffee and tostada. Def coming back. This is real coffee not Dunkin donuts watered down coffee. The staff is also very polite and helpful.

I absolutely love mofongo and hadn't had any for some time until I walked into Los Autenticos yesterday. Not for the faint of heart (literally), but the chicharrones that were mixed in with the plantains made for the best mofongo I have ever had. Normally, I do my mofongos with seafood, but the ropa vieja caught my attention; it also turned out to be a stellar choice. I love you Los Autenticos!

Best cuban food in town! Coffee and orange juices are delicious. Very fast and good service.

  • Tom V.

Went here for lunch after checking the ratings on Yelp. It's a small sandwich shop with limited seating. The place was quite busy so the wait was longer than expected. We had the Cuban and the steak sandwich. Nothing too fancy. Good solid Cuban food in an unpretentious setting. Would go back for a Cuban when in the area.

Los Autenticos Cuban cafe has been in business for over twelve years in the same location, and that is no small feat. I would guess that it has a lot to do with the friendly service and good food they offer. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with a warm welcome and felt right at home. The food was delicious, and fresh, and the coffee was spectacular.

Super affordable and extremely authentic- the namr does not lie! I feel like I stepped into a cafe in Cuba. I am instantly transported by the smells of coffee, sweet cortadito, delicious guava and cheese pastries, fragrant platains, and savory cuban specialities. Their lunch deal, for $8.95, allows you to pick a sandwhich with choices like cubans, media noche, pan con lechon, & croquette preperada (and many more options), one side with choices like homemade plantains, maduros, tostones, rice & beans, guava & cheese pastries, quesitos, empanadas, various soups, etc., and a drink with choices like coffee, coco rico, kola, jupina, malta, coladas or upgrading to a premiun shake. My husband always gets a shake here. He lives the mango shake, but was more adventurous and tried their mamey shake today. I tried their black bean soup and cuban special to shake things up. He ordered pan con bistec and maduros. As we await our food, the employees strike up lively conversation with us and are extremely helpful answering our questions about their varied menu! We also got to jam to Spanish music while we waited for our food. We were sorely tempted to get up and dance! As always the food was awesome. Fresh sandwhiches, fresh ingredients, and totally satisfying. The mamey was good too, a unique taste...sort of like butternut squash mixed with guava. Don't let the shabby exterior drive you away. This place is an absolute gem! They also deliver!!!

  • Douie A.

This was the first time I had cuban food and it was an amazing experience! The price was very affordable (less than $10) and it was already a combo. You get a sandwich, a side, and a drink. The sandwich was very delicious! The bread was freshly baked and it was very soft! The meat was moist and the marinade was tasty. The atmosphere was very welcoming. It was not crowded when I went there. The server was very polite and helpful. Check out this place and experience an authentic cuban food!

  • Lydia C.

Best Cuban sandwich around town!! The secret is they use Cuban pulled pork made in house of course instead of the bland sliced pork most places use. The bread is delicious too. They do a lot of catering so if you are looking for some delicious Cuban cuisine for your next event you should check this place out. I have only been here a couple of times but the service has been great and the food as well. I have also had the ham croquetas and the cortadito. Both were excellent. My only complaint is they close so early I can't get their delicious food for dinner.

Hidden Cuban spot off of colonial. sandwiches are done really well food is great food is fresh and the place is clean. empanadas could have been better I tried the beef next time I will try the chicken. I'll be back.

We came here because of good reviews but it was down hill after that. we are from Miami one of the best Cubans food out there and we were so disappointed when we ate the food. Not good at all! Not even the cafe con leche. Do not recommend!

  • Jason P.

Only get Cuban food occasionally since we live in VA . We tried this place based off of reviews on yelp. Glad we did, amazing food and we are from Miami. That should tell you readers a lot about this place because Cuban food in synonymous with Miami.

  • Mari C.

I will not lie, when it comes to spanish food being Puerto Rican, I am super picky. I was introduced to this lovely establishment by one of my co workers. We were starving and were tired of the fast food options of e colonial. My first meal here was the media noche it was love at fist bite. We ordered delivery and kept ordering from here. This is our number one place for lunch wether its delivery or just eating in, you get service with a smile. The whole staff is just an amazing group of people, and work well as a team. Oh and before i forget they serve a great hispanic breakfast just like mom use to make it not to mention the cafe con leche AMAZING!

    (5)
  • Norma B.

When I'm on this side of town I take advantage to pick up sandwiches from them. The Media Noche is always really good. Our other choice is the Croqueta Preparada (croquette Sandwich). It is a sandwich that is on the drier side but we like it and the fresh Cuban bread is to die for. I want to know what bakery they get it from. It's sooooo good!

  • Rick R.

I was very happy with my Cuban Sandwich. I ordered the the one with additonal meat. This was my first Cuban Sandwich and I am happy I had it at Los Autenticos Cafe. The sandwich was very satiisfying and was very happy with my food. I would like to add that the staff there was very friendly. I don't give extra or less stars for service and only grade on the food but, the service was great. They explained menu options with a smile and wished us well on our way out. They added to the food experience in a positive way

  • Neil O.

Read reviews and was looking forward to the food because of what I read. First problem was the website quoted a different price then the in house menu (only $0.20 difference but still). Second, the customer service was non-existent. Waited for their conversation to finish before the could attend to customers. Third, food took a very long time. The saving grace of this place is that even though the food took a while, it was delicious! The coffee (cafe con leche) was amazing as we'll. As a whole I would give this place another go as the taste and quality if the food matters more to me then the service but I cannot give it more than three stars because of it.

  • Vicky C.

Great authentic Cuban food. Had a steak sandwich, potato ball, fried sweet plantains, and an iced cafe con leche. So far the best Cuban steak sandwich I had and my husband agreed on this!!

    (5)
  • Courtney V.

Great, authentic Cuban food! We had the Breakfast Special #3, an order of crocheted and the Criollo Special. So yummy! Great good for the value. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. The employees were extremely friendly and checked in with us three or four times. I even got a large Cafe Con Leche, simply because the guy behind the counter was feeling nice. We will definitely be back soon!

  • Lauren H.

Very yummy. It's my go-to for Cuban food and it's affordable. I had the ropa viejo (sp) with white rice, black beans, a salad, and tostones. It made me very happy. Can't wait to go back :)

Came here for breakfast, had ham/egg/cheese sandwich w/ cortadito, amazing. I will deff be coming back for mofongo

So this review is a little late, being that we were in Orlando back in Nov. 2014. BUT OMG, if you are in the area and want a fantastic cuban sandwich, this is the place to try. The flavor of the pork... the crunch of the bread from being pressed... the size was enough for me and my husband... WOW... amazing. We did try another well known place in the area, but this best had a far better sandwich. We also tried the cuban coffee, very good as well. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. Price was very reasonable as well.

    (5)
  • Andraya P.

My favorite Cuban sub in Orlando. The meat is well seasoned and tender. They crisp it up nicely so that the cheese is melted. My husband loves the Tripleta. Their plantain chips are delicious. Crispy and salty. Service is always super friendly. We try to get out here once a month.

    (5)
  • J Y.

$8.95 for a sandwich, side (choices from savory plaintain chips to sweet quesitos) and a drink (fountain drinks to Cuban coffees) definitely a STEAL! Their cortaditos were of of the best I've ever had. They also roast their own coffee so for certain these people know their coffee and take huge pride in their roast. Will most definitely be back for more of their good food and excellent customer service!

Awesome coffee!! The food was delicious, highly recommended. Workers actually looked like they enjoy working here.

The cortadito, the Cuban sandwich, and the pulled pork were all delicious. My new go to!

  • M.C. E.

Great Cuban sandwich, amazing fries. The kicker, though, is I order the Cuban coffee with the combo. I take it to the counter anticipating having to add massive amounts of sugar. It's PERFECT. This NEVER happens for me. I'm very picky and have to have it super strong and sweet, and they nailed it. The really weird part? I didn't even mention how I wanted it and they didn't ask. It's like they KNEW. Great experience all the way around. Delicious on all fronts.

  • Charlie W.

Authentic and delicious. The owners Rob and Nicole are ultra motivated to make their business grow and take time with their customers

I picked up some things to go: a Cuban Regular, a Media Noche and 2 Guava Pastries. I was somewhat in a rush cause I was on my way to the airport. Staff was friendly enough, but unfortunately for me, it must have been a busy time as it was close to 20 minutes between my order placement and when it was actually ready. Cuban regular - really quite good. The pork isn't too dry, ham isn't too sweet, pickles aren't too tart. It's really balanced quite well. I only wish I had the time to dine in because sitting in the styrofoam container, even though they cut out a portion to allow heat to escape, by the time I got into the rental car, got gas and started eating it on the way to the airport, it wasn't super crispy any more. I'll assume that's my fault and not theirs. Media Noche - same as the cuban regular except with a sweet bread. YUM!!! really happy with this one, but it does look a little smaller than the cuban (my only complaint). Plantain chips - AWESOME. These still managed to be crispy and salty and sweet and I wanted MORE! Guava pastry - apparently somebody ordered 10 before me, and by 1:15pm, I got the last 2. Seriously? I was wondering why they would run out so early, but after biting into one of them, I realized why. It's different than other guava pastries I've had in the sense that the guava paste is A LOT thicker and stickier! It's also VERY sweet - almost a little too sweet, but I couldn't stop eating it. I think next time I'm in town, I'll do my best to come back again. Oh yeah, and they have a 25% off coupon for your first yelp check-in. That's cool. What's not so cool is when you tell me three times that you expect me to write a good yelp review because of the coupon. No thank you. I'll write a good yelp review if your establishment is good, if your food is good, if your service is good.

Solid, good tasting Cuban food. Do not...I repeat...do not be intimidated by the lack of ambiance here. These, my friends, are the places that serve up the best tasting food. Sorry, I digressed... The service was great - the owner was very friendly and inviting. Our party ordered a nice plethora of Cuban goodies: Pan Con Bistek, Croquettes, Mofongo, Cream Cheese Pastry and their Guava Pastry - everything was great! We even had a Cafe Con Leche, which for the record, resembled something you'd pay over $5 for at a fancy cafe in San Francisco, only it was half the price of that! Other things worth mentioning: - I appreciated their very informative website, which includes their complete menu - Speaking of menu, they have a pretty vast variety of offerings. - Small place - maybe 5 or so tables - I noticed a steady flow of customers which is always a good sign If you're in the area, and in the mood for Cuban, you must pay a visit to Los Autenticos!

This place is great. The food is good especially for the price. I'm a Full Sail student and plan on going to lunch here a bit considering they have phone orders. Food is quick, and their selection is quite big as well. Lots of things to try! The staff is really friendly, too! Definitely worth the trip if you haven't been here before!

I used to eat here all the time when I went to UCF. I loved watching it grow from always being the only one in the store to it always being packed when I go. Delicious sandwiches , which they improved by adding mariquitas (thin plantain chips) as a side. Their fruit shakes and frappes are a bit costly, but they are totally worth it.

    (5)
  • Ho L.

One of the best cuban cafes in town. They offer all the standard items, with big portions at great prices. My favorite is the Media Noche, which is a Cuban sandwich but served on sweet bread. They also serve breakfast items, but I haven't tried it out yet, If you're into good, straightforward Cuban food, you owe it to yourself to check out Los Autenticos!

Incredibly good. And the people are awesome. Nothing I've had here hasn't been straight up awesome. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You wont regret it.

  • Stephanie S.

I started with the quesito dessert cause it just looked so yummy! What a simple idea, but yet so good-cream cheese and vanilla. I then enjoyed my Cuban...it was perfect! Juicy, not too tart with the pickles, and not dry at all. The empanadas was good, but not as good as the first two items. And last I got materva, the soda and it was strange the amount of carbonation at first but it tastes like a really good cream soda! Definitely try this place out. Quick cooking, picked up fresh, and delightful service :) yum, yum, and yum!

Came here with my family and we got our order to go. The people there were very nice and immediately honored my yelp check in discount of 25% off We got the Cuban and the bistec (steak) sandwich. I liked that it came with fried plantain chips but next time I'll ask for fries. The steak sandwich was good, but like Mike S said, it had A LOT of onions and just a thin piece of steak that left you wanting. I also tried the regular cuban sandwich and found that it was just ok. Coming from Miami myself I guess I might've set my standards too high but I personally didn't find it to be an amazing sandwich like others have stated. The pernil (pork) tasted as if it was a couple days old and was simply reheated and placed in the sandwich, and I also thought the meat was lacking in this sandwich as well. The regular cuban sandwich was $5.75 and the steak was $6.75 While we were there, they told us about how they're making their own coffee and roasting it fresh every morning which initially sounds really cool but I would be more willing to fork over the 8.99 they're asking if they were willing to let you sample some of it. I'm actually anxious to try their lunch specials that seem to be pretty good for 5.50 at which time I might update my review but for right now; I have to say that it's an OK place but nothing in particular stood out for me.

This seems like a nice little place. I intended to order my lunch to go, but upon walking in I decided to stay. It's small inside but has that air of an unassuming family diner. I ordered the Tripleta and an order of fries. The fries were standard -- nothing really unexpected there. The sandwich was really a standout. Pressed, crispy on the outside and warm and melty on the inside with delicious, tender meats. I loved every bite of it, and got just a little more sad with each bite knowing that it was one bite closer to being finished. But it did. That's okay though. I'll definitely be back to try something else.

Best cuban ever - delivery was fast and the meal traveled well (they vented the clamshells to avoid sogginess). Go early - they close at 5, but I promise it will be WELL worth it.

Media Noche was super delicious. I love their lunch specials. It's a small location, but having takeaway is always nice. The bread pudding was just okay, but I'll be back for more sandwiches.

A friend recommend this place and thank goodness he did. The food was excellent! Empanadas, steak and onions with rice, tostones, sweet plantains, croquettes, Cuban sandwich....all were delicious! Guava smoothie was tasty! The frappe was too sweet.

Today was our second time eating here and my family loves this place. My kids can be kind of picky sometimes and I didn't hear any complaints. Well I ordered black beans and yellow rice for both of my kids, my daughter who is 4 looked at them and said yuck but then she actually tried them and loved it. The only thing I can say is that I wanted the grilled chicken sandwich but instead got regular grilled chicken but it was still really good. So just be specific about your order.

Are you tired of those cuban sandwiches that have sliced pork in it?! I AM. and YOU should be! THIS cuban is now my favorite in the city! It is made PERFECTLY. Tender pulled pork, bread the best, everything else matching flavors to perfection also. AND its only $5! Only negatives: Tried the bistec with fries sandwich, it was alright, i liked it, but needs more steak and less onions. $6. The service was lackluster, she forgot my stuffed potato ball(ok, a little over crispy, but i'd probably try it one more time), and she never refilled my water. But the sandwich was too good to care about service. Do i dare go AGAIN two days in a row?! I think yay. It's THAT good.

Somewhat disappointed. I had the media noche with black beans and rice. Sweet bread average at best. Other sandwich ingredients lacked in flavor. Just ok. Black beans and rice was dry without raw onions. Cubans on the Run in Casselberry has nothing to worry about when it comes to items I ordered. First time there. Doubt I'll go back.

Everything was great! Very clean but welcoming little eating area.I had the ropa vieja, with black beans and rice and platanos maduras (softened plantains). All these flavored combined tickled my tastebuds. My boyfriend had a Cuban sandwich, so much meat inside. The beef empanadas a tiny bland without the very amazing salsa verde. All very freshly made. This place also delivers! I will definitely have to remember that. There are so many other things I need to try.

Best Cuban sadwich ever! Bread is soft inside and toasty and crunchy on the outside. Great flavor and always fresh! The cafe con leche is pretty darn good too. I'm not really an avid coffee drinker at all but every time I come in here I crave coffee for some reason. Also had their flan the other days and it was delicious. The people are really nice and you get your food quick whether is to go or not. I can't wai to try the lechon and ropa Vieja here.

We stumbled upon this Cuban sandwich shop while in town and enjoyed a tasty lunch. I had the pork sandwich- absolutely wonderful, favorful and tender. My husband had the mofongo which was good, though he would have liked more garlic. The coffee is their blend which they roast and grind daily. It is smooth but not too rich. Overall, if we are in the area will definitely come back. It may not be exactly like 'home' but they are creating dishes with their own wonderful flavor.

Great food, affordable (~$6) and delicious. We had the pulled pork, platains, tostones, and black beans+rice. Highly recommended. Service was fast (there were only 2 other tables that day -Sunday at 4pm). They let us order from the lunch menu. Highly recommended.

I'll start out by saying this is a really a 2.5 star review... I decided to try the Cuban Cafe for lunch, since it seems like I am having some sort of Latin food weekly, and this one got a great review by Scott Joseph. The waitress sat us down, and then came to take our order. Since I was with someone of Cuban decent, we had asked for a few signature Cuban items. She seemed very shocked and confused when asked about three items that they did not carry (Iron Beer (soda), Guarapo or Papa Rellena.) Finally on our fourth try, and ensuring she wrote down our order, we decided to go with the standards: Ham Croquetas, Empanadas - 1 Chicken, 1 Beef, Pulled Pork lunch special, Ropa Vieja and a Mamey. The Croquetas were excellent, light and fried perfectly, the empnandas, not so much. They were small and barley filled. The portion size of the pork was huge, and very flavorful, but a little dry. The rice and beans were also very flavorful. My friend told me that the Ropa Vieja was also good. The mamey (shake) was great. All in all the food is pretty god, and reasonably priced. The good news is that the service improved once the owner showed up. He is very nice, and actually offered us more rice and beans. Not thanks - We were stuffed! I may come back in the future, but there is so much competition around, so it may have to wait.

First, get there by 8pm as it closes by then, and this area becomes a ghost town. Now that you're there, order the Cuban and enjoy the authenticity, like the sign says. The bread is pressed, crunchy, chewy and light. Awesome. The meat is flavorful, tender, juicy. Tangy mustard pairs perfectly with the pickle and the hot sauce they have (homemade out of seven chiles...that's all they would divulge but it's hot and full of flavor). With the melted Swiss, you got a perfect Cuban. Cap it off with their in-house brewed coffee. (We bought a pound of the whole bean to take home as well). The espresso with milk and the regular coffee are excellent. The foam is finished with an ornate pattern...just the kind of little nuance that shows pride in their product. If you're in or around Orlando, hit this spot. You won't leave disappointed.

Absolutely best Cuban food in Orlando! From the genuine service to amazing food this place is awesome! Definitely my favorite breakfast place in town... Try the coffee here and never crave Starbucks again!

I've had better Cuban sandwiches at Hispanic bakeries. The pork was dry and the bread tasted stale. But their coffee was good. The restaurant itself is a little dirty, but I guess this is what most would consider a dive.

Hit this place up with a buddy of mine. IT WAS AWESOME!! Hands down the BEST Cuban sandwich I have ever had. They also have really good empanadas and incredible flan!! Flan is my favorite dessert and this place has the best that I have had. A definite must try! I will be back for sure.

My first visit - not my last. I ordered everything to-go. The Cuban regular sandwich was just perfect. I got a large black bean soup topped with onions for my wife, which she said was delicious. I also got a quesito, which was excellent. When I got to my car, I saw the quesito wasn't in the bag, but when reminded, the server was very apologetic. Very enthusiastic service. They now deliver! And they no longer close at 5pm.

I have to say the food in this place is AMAZING! As to the restaurant cleanliness, they could do A LOT better. The place is very dusty/dirty, the vent right over (the visible to all) cooking area is so full of dirt, you can't barely see the vent color. We sat by the fire extinguisher and there were spider webs on it. Needless to say, we were grossed out and left after noticing the dust on the vent and spider webs! Have never been back!

Best Cuban sandwich in town, hands down!! Came here on a whim and tried the Cuban and the chicken soup, both were not only authentic but delicious too. Can't wait to come back and try the carne frita.

Ok, so I'm going to start with the best and work my way from there. FLAN. This place has the most amazing, rich, sweet, delicious flan I have tried in Orlando! It's thick and custardy, not wiggly (jelloy) like you find sometimes in a Mexican place. The flan seemed to be made fresh and as a large "pie." Each portion is a generous slice and I keep going back to my fridge to take bite after bite. I'm sad it's almost gone! The top is golden delicious and the middle just melts in your mouth. Now that I'm drooling... I'll proceed with my meal. I ordered a beef empanada to start. It was fried fresh, no heat lamps at this place! It was a bit on the small side though, but the meat inside was quite flavorful. I also had the pork lunch plate; roasted pork, rice, beans, and maduros for $6, get out right? The portion was typical Cuban and huge! Gotta love our Hispanic people. Anyway - the rice and beans were seasoned beautifully, but I feel the pork was not seasoned enough. It was juicy and tender, but needed a little something more. Topped off with a malta. Delicious. The server there was also quite pleasant and attentive, so that made it that much nicer. Definitely going to try this place again. Maybe a sandwich next time, but definitely grabbing a supply of flan! (NOTE: Do you remember that episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch where she makes a HUGE flan appear in her high school and everyone goes bananas? Ha! 90s TV is too funny. But I would die if that happened with the flan at Los.. just sayin. =P)

I love love love this place. I always order the steak sandwich and the chicken sandwich and it NEVER disappoints. The flavors are always on point and the bread they use is fantastic. My only issue would be their delivery takes forever. Other than that this place definitely knows good food.

I have been here several times for lunch. The first few times the lady got me the food and it was fine. Now the guy (the thinner one) gives me the food, the portion of pulled pork is significantly smaller compared to what I got initially, and compared to similar restaurants. I stopped going.

OH MY GOSH THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS! Thank God I found this place on Groupon. Currently, there's a check-in deal for 25% off on Yelp for your first visit. In addition to awesome food (gotta love the Pan con Bistec sandwich), their prices are killer! Huge sandwiches for $5 or $6. Sodas for a buck.

Went there today for lunch and have to say it was very delicious! We both had the lunch special with pulled pork, black beans and rice and fried plantains. Everything was freshly made and delicious. We'll definitely be going back! Oh, and if you're coming from East Colonial you have to go up to Goldenrod and do a u-turn to get in. Just an FYI...

I love simple, tasty Cuban food. Looking for a good Cuban Sandwich in my area, Yelp led me to Los Authenticos Cuban Cafe. Went in at around 04:00pm on a weekday. Casual decor, a television on the wall, some tables and chairs for seating. The kitchen is pretty open, revealing a flat top and some presses, along with drop in hot wells for the prepared sides. The staff was friendly, and they even offered a check-in deal. So far so good! My wife got the Pork Chops with Black Beans/Rice and Plantains, and I grabbed a Cuban. I skipped on the coffee, since we were taking it to go. The sandwich had plenty of pulled roast pork, and grilled ham, and only a few pickles. It was great, except the bread wasn't as true to a Miami Cuban Sandwich as I would have liked. The Pork Chops had a nice simple flavor, but were tough and overcooked. The rice and beans had been sitting for the day. They were good, just a dry. We tried them again for delivery, at noon last Saturday. Ordered a Cuban Sandwich, Pulled pork w/ Croquettes, and the Chicken w/ Plantains. Cuban was the exact same (consistency is good if you enjoy their sandwich). The Pulled pork was very dry, but the croquettes were delicious. The chicken, to my surprise, was moist delicious! I wouldn't make this my first choice for Cuban in Orlando. But it beats a trip if you're in the area. Still haven't tried the coffee, or breakfast.
